Amazing hotel with stunning glass elevators, an awesome Atrium bar with a billiards room and 6 flat screens for all your sports needs. The rooms are wonderful and the staff is ready to help with any requests you have! A must see hotel in the downtown Dallas region!

I love this place! Low price, excellent location. The room was very spacious with huge windows and a very large bathroom. Beautiful furnishings, very comfortable bed. Yes, I'm a huge fan - but avoid valet parking fees if you can.

Great hotel with the exception of a few things. First being beds should be more comfortable for the price paid per night. They were a bit too stiff. Beds also need a couple firmer pillows in addition to the feather pillows (which were nice). Lastly, breakfast was seriously lacking for the $17 per head price tag. Powdered eggs and potatoes were NOT good to say it nicely. The service however was excellent. Kudos to the front desk clerk who made sure our room was nice and quiet as well.

If you are attending an event there that will have a very large crowd, the parking situation will be difficult. I ended up going to the valet. It was reasonably priced and so much less hassle.

i recently stayed at the Hyatt recency in downtown dallas from Sept 6th till sept 10th. I would like to first state that for a 4.5 star hotel I was very very disappointed with the service that was provided to me. Besides the non working Wi-Fi and my room being right above a train station my last night's stay was an experienced I never received in my life not even from a 2 star hotel. On Monday September 9th I left my hotel room at around 730 pm and returned to my room at 11pm to find my room inaccessible after going to the front desk three times it was determined something was wrong with the door. An engineer had to be dispatched along with security who was also unable to access the room. After numerous times and attempts I was told by the manager on duty Jonathon that I won't be able to get inti my room until the morning. I was also told that being I booked through a third party site there was nothing that could be done which I feel is unfair inconsiderate as I am a customer of your hotel .I wad told this at 3 am. I was put into a different room without my belongs wallet unable to pack unable to sleep. It was very upsetting that there was no other solutions for this problem especially for a 4.5 star hotel . I was unable to sleep and finally at 651 am I was able to gain access to my room. I had to go pack and head to the Airport. I am from New York and my trip to Dallas was suppose to be a memorable one and it was turned into a miserable one. I would like to be contacted regarding these matters and also addressed

Real awesome hotel! The staff definitely got a knack for hosting conventions and know how to get into the spirit! Also, the view of the city from some of the rooms is simply amazing. Absolutely worth paying a bit extra for a room from that block.

The customer service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and nice. The beds were super comfortable, and we enjoyed the clean modern design. We swam in the small outdoor pool, which was clearly not a priority for the hotel. No one else was in the pool, and the furniture and planters were old and worn. Our kids loved the fountain, the big lobby, and riding the elevators. We had a lovely view from our room on the 25th floor. We used the valet service, and a had a great experience with them. We purchased breakfast from the grab and go vendor in the lobby and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The bar area was packed in the evening and seemed nice.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice. I was there for a weekend convention, so the standout for me was the excellent food and wait staff in the private dining areas. Superb for as much food they were putting out. They are doing it right and do not need to change. The bathrooms in the rooms and throughout the hotel are showing the obvious high volume of use and need to be revamped or fixtures replaced at least. The stay overall was very nice and because of the excellent staff I hope to stay again.

Very nice hotel, nice view of the city as well. Didnt like the coffee shop, they tend to be a bit all sloppy and lie about what they have and dont have. Other than that, the entire hotel is very nice

Quite good value for the $18x price, parking options not the best but OK for DT

Good: Breakfast was VERY nice. Omelet station, other hot options and big enough to stay full till dinner.
Very good location - good city view, just next to Reunion tower and walking distance to many DT landmarks and tours. Trains are not heard btw, even on medium high (12th) floor facing Union station.
Nice rooms, looks renovated despite hotel was built in 197x imo.

Not so good: Who steal the normal one refrigerator and out this "cooler" instead? Like if you have some meat or ice cream - you could throw them to the garbage :( Despite label saying call and we bring a normal fridge - I was told they do not have any.
Actually even our cooler was not working because of loose plug, but they sent an "engineer" who fixed it fast.
Parking options quite limited (well, OK it's DT after all...$20 for outdoor parking few minutes walking distance or $29 for valet)

Another good Hyatt. Great location right off of 35. One block from the book depository and grassy knoll. 5 minutes from uptown. Easy access to transportation from hotel. DART right across the street and you can access it from the lower level of the hotel. Atrium concept building with glass interior and exterior elevators. Parking garage and valet. Restaurant on property. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Room views are great from City side otherwise not very great facing 35.

Food was amazing and well worth the price. Rarely do I ever give restaurant a five star rating but this one was well deserved. This place is a bit above average price side. We averaged about $50 a person not including dessert. A meal for 7 was about $400. The mignon was uterlly amazing and the fried rice was some of the best I've ever had.

We had lobster tail and mushrooms as appetizers, both foods I hate, but I loved these. The dessert was a bit busy, and not nearly as good as the rest ofc the food imo but I work around bakeries so my standard might be a bit high!

Stay was good...food a bit pricy. Trains are annoying but not the hotels problem. Overall not a bad stay. Had an older gentleman during buffet breakfast venting his frustration towards muslims...not needed or wanted to hear rhetoric...I just wanted coffee
