I spent many hours researching cars and visiting most of the dealerships on Serramonte Auto Row and beyond. Gene Blanco at Honda of Serramonte was outstanding in his lot! Actually, he was mostly on the move! :) No other salesperson worked as hard as he did to show me what cars were available that could suit my family's needs (and budget!) He was extremely knowledgeable, sincerely caring, and scrupulously honest. (Honest!) I never felt pressured to a hasty decision, but when I did decide, I was extremely pleased with the efficiency of the entire process. Go see Gene and you'll see what I mean!

Had a minor issue with my 2017 Civic. Showed up early around the time they opened and Bobbie Santos was able to make room for me even though I didn t have an appointment. He has great customer service and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

Also, the wait wasn t bad at all. Honda offers lots of different hot beverages for free and has fully stocked vending machines, as well as complimentary WiFi as you wait for any repairs/maintenance to be completed.

Thanks again Bobbie Santos for getting me back on the road quickly. Also, Brian and all the staff that help you check in were very friendly & courteous.

P.S I came in a week later for an oil change, and Darrel Wilson helped me out. He is the man! That guy knows good customer service like I know the back of my hand. Very happy once again.

Oliver gave me a great experience at Honda Serramonte. He was accommodating, friendly, and genuine. I appreciated how kind he was, knowing that I was getting my first oil change and tire rotation, so he gave the service to me complimentary. I received my car back in less than two hours and would be glad to go back there for my next service.

A very good friend of ours referred us to Kris Yu at Honda of Serramonte. Kris was very professional and patient with us. Never once was he pushy or aggressive trying to sell us a car. We were in the market to replace a car that was parked and got totaled by a guy speeding down our residential street. We were initially looking at a new HRV as a compact commuter replacement, then changed our mind to a used HRV or new/used Fit. Kris kept in contact with us and gave us options on new and used, on both vehicle makes over a 2.5 month span. We finally ended up narrowing it down to a brand new Fit. When I came to Honda if Serramonte I was going to meet with a salesman my brother had recommended to me, but when I got there he was busy with a different customer. Mike helped me, and was incredible the entire time. We test drove multiple cars and he was encouraging the entire time. At no point during the process did I ever feel like I would get harassed if I changed my mind. I felt comfortable. Mike was kind, informative, and patient the entire time. I d recommend this salesman to anyone who wants a good experience!

Hands down the best car buying experience I've ever had! It was difficult for me since I was an out-of-state buyer, but Kirby and Jimmie made the process absolutely smooth and transparent. They are all knowledgeable, courteous, and know what they're doing. As soon as Kirby realized I was out-of-state, he offered to take care of the shipping details for me. Both continuously checked in on me to make sure I was doing good - if I received the contracts and if I understood the terms and conditions. Response turnaround time was also fantastic. The best place to buy anything! I strongly recommend :)

Eric was courteous and honest, where as others would try to oversell services perhaps not needed or not yet required, he gave his advise for next time around. I m not an automobile expert by any means, but I m not ignorant either. Good thing we have google to look up things.

Took my CR-V in for an oil change. It was a Friday, late in the afternoon. Pulled in exactly at my appointment time and was immediately acknowledged with a big smile and a "Welcome to Honda. How are you today?" The gentleman notified the service department that I was there and I waited. Next thing I know a young man runs out to my car apologizing for keeping me waiting. (It was a whole 7 minutes LOL). That young man was Brian Wong. What a pleasant guy! I have a handicap and he was so accommodating. He helped me out of my car and escorted me to the waiting room. I didn't even have time to get comfortable and he was back saying my car was done. Then he gave me a free car wash! Brian escorted me to the cashier and then to my car and helped me get settled. That kind of attention is so appreciated b us older folks. I was out of there in less than an hour. I wish I could give Brian 10 stars. Great customer service!

I just experienced the best customer service I have ever encountered from service advisor Arjan Birak, who helped us get through the process of repairing a misfiring engine in our 2001 Honda accord. It all started when I had my car towed in; Arjan happened to be there and immediately took an interest in my situation and started the process of diagnosing our problem. My family prefers to do some of our own work with our vehicles when appropriate, and we are the type of customers who want to understand the specifics of what is being done and why. Arjan proved exceptionally knowledgeable throughout every step of the diagnosis and repair process, and he was very communicative and patient with us in answering our questions while keeping the process moving forward. His efforts in taking great care of us were instrumental in finding an overall, competitively priced solution that allowed us to move forward with repairing the vehicle rather than just give up on it, being left short a car, and wondering what to do next. He and service tech Hao also managed to get the car done in an incredibly impressive amount of time, and did a great job making a 17-year-old, seemingly tired Accord feel like a brand new car and live up to the Honda reputation of vehicles that possess incomparable longevity and value. Cashier Daniella was also a bright spot in providing above-and-beyond customer service. Overall, our time at Honda Of Serramonte with this repair has convinced us that we need to be taking our car here for future service, and I will certainly be dealing with them when I am next in the market for a new Honda.

5 Stars for purchase convenience. Cash payment + same day home delivery was very good considering I took a leap of faith and purchased a used car blind. I was surprised however that I got charged the toll fee (toll plaza camera captured dealer temp plates) for toll en route to my location prior to me purchasing the vehicle. I would think the dealership has toll accounts and is not passing pre-purchase tolls to the customer. less 1 star. (total 4 stars, so far)

BIG HASSLE to sort out a plate number issue. I left five messages over 2 weeks for the internal DMV/Docs person so I can get issued new plates but the person could not be reached and my voicemails were left un-answered. I had to call Honda corporate for help and they got me in touch with a manager and it finally got it resolved on the 3rd week.

At the very minimum, please add a message on work voice mails that this position is part time and voice mails do not get returned. At least people know not to call every other day and instead purchase a car somewhere else in the future if we don't want a hassle of trying to fix something with this dealership. Subtracting 3 stars. Overall 1 star.

Service tried to sell me 1000 dollars worth of work I did not need, before even looking at my car. Other mechanics elsewhere verified my opinions on this matter. Will go elsewhere for my service.

We bought a used car from this dealership and paid...

We bought a used car from this dealership and paid in full with cash in November 2020, 4 months later we still have not received the car title nor the registration. Twice we had to call in to ask where's our title and their titles office lady just gave us all kinds of excuses. We first called in January, they claimed they paid off the car and were waiting their bank to send the title? What? Second call again in February, they claimed they sent to the DMV for clearing but refused to say exactly when they sent to the DMV.

BIG RED FLAG, THESE GUYS ARE SELLING CARS THAT THEY DON'T EVEN OWN! WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW.

Per the California Veh Code 5753 (c)(1), the dealership is required to deliver the title within 15 days after receiving payment in full.

We will be reporting this dealership to the authorities for dealer fraud.

He was very honest and worked hard every step of the way. Would come back just because of the service he gave which reflected the way the dealership was ran. 5 stars

Guy who leased me the car was awesome...the dealer...

Guy who leased me the car was awesome...the dealership never sent in the release of liability on the vehicle i traded in and i have recieved multiple notices from the DMV saying i owe registration payments and past due notices...talked to the finance department and they told me to send in a copy of release of liability back to the DMV and now i got a 30 day final notice to pay, called multiple times and no managers ever answer the phone.

Honda of Serramonte is THE BEST service in the area. I have been very
well pleased with Darrell Wilson as he is a very professional service consultant. He listens very carefully to car problems and gives an excellent FIVE STAR performance with speedy service!
The waiting room is very clean with coffee and donuts offered. Restrooms are also very clean.
I lived in CT and then PA before moving to San Francisco. This is the BEST
Honda service I've had in my 40 years of owning a Honda.

My intent for the visit to Honda of Serramonte was...

My intent for the visit to Honda of Serramonte was to buy out my leased car/finance my leased car because it was up in a couple of days. My intention was not to buy a used car from Honda of Serramonte. Basically they bought my leased car right under my nose from American Honda with the payoff amount I wanted and came back with a number of 750 more added to the payoff amount. Abaas the salesman said the fee added on top of the payoff amount is processing fee such as safety check/ inspection and registration and license fee. Mind you, I thought the process of buying out a leased car was going in to sign something since everything is already under my name and not a whole long process of buying the car from my lesser with my payoff amount and selling the car back to me under Honda of Serramonte. Abaas was a dishonest person because he said the added fee of 750 on top of payoff price would include reg and license fee but on the contract that I faithfully sign off of what was verbally said, I later saw a separate itemized section for reg and license which added on top $300. Abaas also never told me that I would also expect a smog check because it did not make sense to me it s practically a 2016 car but because they technically bought my leased car under my nose and sold it back to me as a used car. I did my research and no-where online explains this was how the process. I only said yes to the number Abaas showed me because he said the added fee was processing fee and reg and license. Cmon, why would I say yes to a higher price over the lesser payoff amount which they secretly took and bought out from my lesser unless there was a lie involved. Finance manager jimmy ngo added on the gap and warranty which was roughly $3000 when I had originally said no to Abaas so I had to go in the next day to cancel once I saw that my finance amount was way more than I expected about that $3000 more. Remember, I am signing in good faith of what was verbally said. It was only one day since I signed the contract and instead jimmy said the warranty place Sonic would send me a refund for the gap insurance and other warranty which stated on the cancellation process for 8 weeks. Mind you, my payment would have been lower if he did not add in the insurances. I did not understand why we did not resign a new contract. With close to 800 credit score the first interest rate they present to me was 6.99. My intent was to finance with American Honda because I ve financed with them for over 9years but jimmy quickly stated that they would give me 7%. I ended up with 5.54. I told jimmy I did research and thought 3-5 percent is for excellent where 6.99 was for average. Jimmy stated today, the average is considered 11%. I could write a whole novel about this experience but I don t have the time really.

To make it short Melly the other finance manager was rude. I made a comment where I planned my future based on the payoff amount such as budgeting and stuff because they really are playing with my money with all full time lies. She comments back well for someone who is planning their future based on the payoff amount should have had that amount already and go payoff American Honda. There were a few other smart remarks she made which is pretty disappointing. They were on the defense. Abaas was dishonest when confronted that he said the added fees would include dmv stuff in front of Melly and he saved his own butt and disregarded everything and added a few more lies how he told me that I would need to come back for a smog check eventually. In the end I was being brushed off and conveniently could not get a hold of any finance people within the three days after signing the contract when I had some other questions. I was going to talk to the GM but thought who s to say he won t be like all these other people. I still have my power of choice to never go back and take my business else where. I wish all the people I encountered at Honda Serramonte a blessed life.

I was taking my 2016 pilot for B16 service + recommended wheel alignment(13k mile). I am not happy with he price and service quality.

Total bill was $388 dollar (after 10% discount ), Use google search Honda Pilot B16 service and wheel alignment will give you a rough idea how much is a good price.

Service was poor, disbite the 30min wait time (wait inside your vehicle to be serve even with appointment), my Pilot was LEAKING oil after maintenance service. I have to take my vehicle back to fix just after 2days. Was told the oil filter was faulty, I highly doubt it, the "leaking filter"was WHITE, it suppose to be blue, you can see it from right front wheel.

Free fix within 3hours which is acceptable. The service director doesn't seem to be happy to offer any compensations, for my time and lost, not even a discount voucher.

Alejandro reached out to me when I asked to test drive a car. The morning that I was supposed to test drive, the car was not available and still in the shop. Alejandro was diligent in letting me know that and even offered me a similar vehicle to test drive. When I arrived, I was able to test drive. Funnily enough, I ended up buying that second one he suggested. The Finance Manager was quick and efficient. I think what was even better was that he handled everything for me. I financed through my credit union and he did all the paperwork and within a week or so, my bank contacted me and said that they had all the paperwork. I really appreciated that. I am happy with my purchase.

I came in last week with an issue about my airbag light coming on. Darrell said that he would look into it and see what s going on. We wasn t sure if the car was still warranty for this issue, but Darrell said that he would go and do the best he could to make sure I didn t have to pay anything out of my pocket. Come to find out a wire came loose and that s all there was to it. Later he came back outside to let me know that everything was fine and to let me know I needed a break job soon. This was my first time coming to the service department since I purchased my car in 2017. I will definitely be coming back to have my car serviced at your location. Thank you, Darrell for going above and beyond helping me with my car issue.

I made an appointment at 8 am for my 2006 CRV, it need an oil change but I was done taking the kids to school so I headed to Honda of Serramonte early. James was my service adviser. He was great and very friendly. While waiting for my car, I ask the receptionist why there were no 2016 Civics in the showroom. She replied, "if we had any, the rest of the models wouldn't have any love cause the Civics are the most popular car." (Something to that effect). Then I asked if there were any salesperson that can help me. She replied, no, they come in at 9 am. It was around 8:30 am. About 10 mins later she found someone to help me. I thought that was nice of them to help me when they could have waited when they start at 9 am. My wife and I were thinging bout getting a new car in 8 to 10 months from now. So I was doing some research. I wanted to test drive the new Civic. And I got that chance thanks to the folks at Honda of Serramonte. While looking at the Civic, I got a call from James letting me know my car was done. I told him I was taking a test drive. He said no problem, just let me know when you're done. The car was amazing. I had bought all of my Hondas from Serramonte. 1999 Accord, 2006 CRV, 2010 Civic Hybrid. I don't mind adding the Civic Touring to that list 10 months from now. In a nut shell everyone took care of all my needs, from servicing my car to the test drive to the cashier. GREAT JOB!!

Don't ever come for Express Service - they don't offer it even though they advertise it!

I arrived at 6:30am for Express Service, which is listed on their building sign and online. There was nobody working Express, so the service writers checked in everyone with regular appointments, then finally helped me after I waited 30min. The service advisor then tells me "we're not setup for Express Service, but you can leave the car for the day". I was so angry. False advertising and they do not offer the service listed on the website and on the building.

I walked into Honda Serramonte with very little time because my mom was in the hospital. I was greeted by Chris. I told him what I was looking for, what I had to work with. He had me in and out within a hour. I love my 2017 Nissan Rogue. Perfect for all my needs.

My wife and I dealt with several Honda dealerships in the area, but Serramonte had everything we needed. Best price and availability compared to everywhere else. Also, our sales rep was knowledgeable about the car and our needs without making us feel pressured to purchase.

Other places we went to were too pushy, or weren't able to get the exact vehicle we wanted.

I can't comment on the validity of their sales but if you need work done, not covered under warranty please be aware that they are crooks and have no intention of looking out for their so-called "valuable customers" this company honestly deserves 0 stars. If you are a woman, an elderly, or someone with a lack of knowledge of car repairs in general, please don't get caught up in the lies. It is so important for companies to remain reputable in a time of capitalism, unfortunately, Honda Serramonte has no intention of following honorable ethical business practices and all they are after is "your money". Inflation of costs is their top priority even if that means milking the vulnerable. Very dissapointed.
