Arrival was very time consuming. Nowhere to park to check in and the lady reception was quite rude. No clear instructions for directions to your room and definitely not enough carparks for hotel guests. When we arrived there was still a filthy empty packet of cigarettes left in the safe. Tried to call reception from the room phone and it wouldn't even ring , just a continuous dial tone. The fold out sofa bed was atrocious to sleep on so needless to say didn't get much sleep at all. To sleep 6 in this apartment was crowded. Overall it was quite disappointing.

The room was clean but there was the absolute bare minimum of everything. The noise was unbearable, and today I learned after checking out that the "hold" amount of $259 that was placed on my card when I checked in was different to the amount that they charged when I departed. Yes, that is right folks - they take double the amount from your account! When I telephoned to enquire this evening I was told that the "hold" would take two weeks to return to my account! YES 2 WEEKS!!! This has placed some financial stress on us for our trip away. It is not good enough and should be made explicit on check in. I was told that it was a hold for the room fee - I assumed that this would be the only fee charged. Why charge twice and then keep a hold on one of the charges for 2 weeks? It is not okay. We will NEVER stay here again - an awful experience. If I could rate no stars I would.

Stayed for 2 nights and had a very bad experience, rooms are like a match box they are so small, by far the smallest hotel room I have ever slept in and is way to over priced. Was planning to surprise my wife for her birthday and she was not impressed. Would highly not recommend to anyone

Great two bedroom room, large lounge with fully equipped kitchenette. Had great views of city and beach and great service. Heaps of carparks too but been right in the middle of surfer's means everything is within walking distance or a short Uber ride...will definitely be a repeat customer

Great location and facility righ in the heart of Surfers. Attentive staff and fantastic rooms. Only negative is the music from the surrounding nightlife, but that's expected when you're in the middle of everything.

Nice rooms in the hotel, but doesn't really have that "Hilton feel" about it. The staff are friendly and efficient, parking is very inexpensive compared to most city hotels, all in all, if you've got to stay right in Surfer's Paradise, it's a nice venue.

Booked "Luxury King Relaxation Suite" and was severely disappointed. Quite literally a corner room with a bed two tvs and two chairs, not even a couch. Requested to change rooms and they refused to unless we paid for a "residence" room. As we were both so exhausted we paid another $1000 on top of what we already had. Arrived to a dirty, filthy kitchen and room smelled like cigarettes. No kitchen utensils, no wifi, a sofa bed for a couch and a filthy balcony with a half hearted view. We were so exhausted and stressed at the impatience and rudeness we experienced we didn't complain, we just wanted to relax. So after 2 days and $1700 later they had the nerve to claim we had left the room filthy and smoky and would only give us half the security deposit back when we checked out. Manager refused to listen that the room was received that way, was rude straight away about it claiming that they would never book a room out that way. Even when I said that a member of staff showed us to the room and commented on the smell he refused to look in to it. Accused me of smoking in the room in front of a foyer full of people. And I don't even smoke! I expected a lot more from the Hilton name. It's a dump and a scam and I will never return there and I will make sure everyone knows what a horrible place it is. Don't waste your money.

I would not return. I give 5 stars anyway, so I can't be any fairer than than that. It is really a 3 out of 5 stars hotel........Rm 904 - 16/2/19; 1 night only

PROS
Not on beachfront, but many rooms still had view and easy access to all surfers amenities.
Validated parking during stay.
Carpark clean (although very dark and low ceiling).
Kettle in room and tea and coffee supplies.
Room fairly quiet (904) despite being in middle of Surfers - didn't hear usual banging of other guests etc.

CONS
Not a relaxing and pleasant hotel for a couples night/weekend away; better suited to stuffing as many people in the room as you can and party like it's 1999.
Room service menu limiting (uber eats might be better?).
Balcony cold, uninviting and view not that great.
Aircon broken - kept turning off and needed to be manually turned on (room 904)
Really, really dirty windows
Noisy clubs and traffic (although when our ac worked this wasn't too bad for us)
Very small portions of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel - the smallest bottles I have ever seen in any hotel; no extras i.e. toothbrushes, bathsalts, razors etc.
Someone was supposed to meet us at the front with 15 mins notice; no one appeared or any help of any kind was provided.
Furniture in room dirty and tired (i.e. cushions and blue lounge and wall (stains on all and dirty and tired).
Initially given wrong room i.e. no bath (relaxation suite upgrade for extra cost was ordered and prepaid; had ordered room with bath and only had shower so had to go to reception and beg for the right room).
Dark and dank atmosphere, bar area uninviting; very depressing - not Gold Coast at all (i.e. luxurious, resort like and bright).
Tiles in entry and elevator appeared stained and dirty and cracked and like a carpark area (no rugs, no comfort) - the tiles and general feeling were very off-putting; can't explain it but those tiles are like nothing I have ever seen before.
No mini bar - had to ring and wait 1 hour before someone came to supply a few basic drinks (no snacks or other available at any time) - advised due to theft they don't supply mini bar.
No mini bar attracted giant esky and BYO crowd - i.e. bring your own carton and bottle of rum as nothing available (not really what I would have thought was Hilton style crowd).
No bottled water -available..... advised "water is safe to drink from tap, luke warm etc"; yet when we were in the wrong room at first - there was bottled water on the counter sitting there waiting.
No ice machine accessible -waited an hour for ice bucket after ordering it twice (once from housekeeping when ordering pillows and doona and then again from Magic when it never arrived).
No vending machine to access basics since no mini bar.
Both of Two (2) TVs in room did NOT have pay movies available - despite the Engineer (nice guy) spending nearly 2 .5hours and repeated visits/modifications (add a video box, change the transformer more than once) we were advised in the end with no solution other than you can move (but there was no other room with a bath available) "there must be a fault with streaming to your room, sorry".
Room fitout "cheap" and nasty - uncomfortable, unattractive and very poor quality (although bed OK).
Suite lounge area very small and poorly designed.
Room was clean to a large extent (i.e. bathroom) but very cheaply done - not even a hook in the bathroom to hang a robe and the bathroom door did NOT close properly.
Ceilings so very low in all areas could "touch" the ceiling easily - hallways narrow and and cheap.
Pools and gym areas were small, dirty and overcrowded - walked away to avoid further frustration.
Don't know if there are any massage or beauty services.
Avoided the breakfast buffet (included for free) to avoid further frustration.

Have stayed at many Hilton's worldwide, this was the worst. Cheap, poor service.

All we wanted to do was check in, have a drink from the mini bar upon arrival, have a bath, order room service and watch a movie in bed whilst eating room service and then just relax. No more, no less. Didn't happen.

Not the best Hilton I've been too. Here's why: 10 min wait to check in, stains on the carpet in the room, underwhelming room service menu, room service delivery fee!, no mini bar, card left next to the kettle asking guests to move the kettle to the bathroom to boil (so it won't set off the alarm - surely a design fault with the smoke alarm, or move the tea/coffee facilities!), telephone didn't work next to bed. All that said, the staff (their greatest asset) were very polite and helpful. I was here on a business trip, but will try another hotel next time.

Should be rated five star.

Should be rated five star.
However, on the first day, the housekeeping moved and reallocated all my make up things, and threw my opened eye cream sample --which I put it on my foundation to show that it has not been used up yet.
I think housekeepers need to stay away from guest's staffs-- that's the principal.

I have stayed here numerous times but last two times no housekeeping has been provided. Before my most recent booking I double checked to see if house keeping was included and my Hilton Honours advised that daily house keeping was included. Upon checking staff advised housekeeping is upon request with no mention of 24 hour notice policy which is in the fine print of checkin that no one ever reads. When my husband requested it we were told house keeping us not included with the residence and its $65 if we want it done. I called back and advised our documentations says it is. They then informed me that it has to be requested 24 hours in advance or else you pay $65 per day for house keeping. They charge an additional $20 per night for parking. With a two bedroom costing $450 per night in a 5 star hotel you would think these basic amenities would be included. The sofa was full of stains, the balcony was really dirty and their heated pool was really cold one day and under maintenance the second day of our stay during peak holiday season. An extremely disappointing stay and will never stay here again. Staff are also rude, unprofessional and not courteous.

No breakfast included.

No breakfast included.

No free parking.

No internet in room at all.

Room cleaning only every 3 days so you have to get your own toilet paper.

The outdoor area and spa closes at 9.

There were no spare blankets for spare bed so had to use towls.

Everything is very basic in the rooms.

Definitely not 5 star

We stay one night at the Two bedroom ocean view room. The room is very comfortable and bigger than I expected. I enjoyed the stay but my husband felt the wind sound was a bit noisy while sleeping. There are 4 elevators but too many guests that we need to wait few minutes to get our turn. Location is great, very close to the beach and shopping center. Overall it s a pretty good experience.

Was to be honest one of the most over rated hotels I have ever stayed in . Room was dirty dusty they even stated on a printed A4 sheet that they appologise that some windows were dirty as they hadn't started window cleaning again. outside I would accept inside no.
We payed extra for an ocean view room but were not able to go outside because the feral bridal party next door were having a party on the balcony. chain smoking every sentence had the Cbomb. we asked if they could tome it down and were told to f off. When we asked if we could move to another room we were told they were fully booked. Which we found out the next day was a lie when the girl checking us out informed us that we should have contacted the desk and they would have moved us to another room as they were only 60% full.
Not happy supposed to be the Hilton and have some standards.

We were originally booked in at the Savannah Resort in Broadbeach, however we encountered serious hygiene issue with our stay, so we decided to leave after the first night. Most places are booked up for New Years, but we got in at the Hilton and looked after us even more after hearing of what happened with our previous arrangements.

Safe to say that after the amazing service they have provided, we won t be staying anywhere else when we come to the Gold Coast again.

We had a lovely stay. Staff are friendly and professional. The room had a beautiful ocean view. We were here during the firework competition, and can see all the spectacles from the balcony. In-house breakfast has a nice range of both western and Asian cuisines. We were amazed by the honeycomb in the picture. Also, the lounge on the 15th floor has some nice treats, especially between 5pm and 7pm.

Booked an apartment for 7 persons , paid top $ for 4 days assuming to stay in a 5 star luxury apartment.
Got a 2 bedroom instead of 3. No room service, not enough blankets, fridge had 3cm thick ice layer, TV was so outdated that we couldn't connect our phones, toilet in ensuit was faulty and not refilling, the beds were terribly soft. (3 of us ended up sleeping on the carpet)
Plus the photos of the room at booking showed a 180 degree ocean view while our apartment at level 17 had partial ocean view.
Definitely the service apartments are not a 5star accommodation.
Not happy at all. Don't let the photos at Agoda decieve you.
And don't underestimate the street noises at nights if you are getting a room under level 20.

We won't be back, the lifts are an absolute joke. ...

We won't be back, the lifts are an absolute joke. We added up the time spent on only 2 outings while on our stay and we spent over 55 minutes waiting with kids for lifts to our 17th floor. Not even at peak times mine you. Absolutely a frustrating hotel to stay in. Then I was not advised upon check in or check out that there's an extra charge for parking. Then cop that on my way home. $5 I wouldn't have minded, but $20 after all the other issues and the lifts no way I should cop money they didn't tell me about. Beds were like a trampoline and no bin liners. And noisy guest above us yelling out to people walking in the street till 7am. We couldn't wait to leave, considering I asked for late check out we left at 730am. Talked with staff and their only suggestion was for me to get out of bed at 1am and call them. But having a sleeping baby next to me that was not going to happen. I will be staying back at the Q1 again never had any issues there. Sadly they had no 2 bedrooms there for when I needed it.
Think this hotel needs a little common sense.

Nothing compared to Sydney Hilton - or any other Hilton I've stayed in across the world, Even if you do realise that this is not a 5*hotel as it is mixed purpose building the lobby /common areas are dirty looking , bathroom facilities in lobby limited and unmaintained, the desk service unwelcoming, the gym is ok and pools are good, to get from parking to apartment/room can be confusing.,

First off we paid in full for a 2 bedroom ocean view deluxe room. When I arrived at our room it was a small pigeon box with one bedroom and one open plan bed space next to the front door. But That wasn't the worst thing ..... I imediately seen the view and it was of the little lake/ pond behind the residence and I imediately went to the front desk to advise them they have given us the wrong room because I booked " Ocean view deluxe " which As advertised has full view of the ocean ...
Not a pond behind the facility..... i advised the manager and she explained that our room number comes under the description of ocean view "even though there was not one bit of ocean insight I felt like she was insulting my intelligence by even trying to pass that room off as ocean view room which on their website advertises it boasts full pacific ocean view from top to bottom. They then quickly passed us off to another worker who gave us a bother room which was bigger but still no view ..... And where completey rude about the entire situation.... We flew in after a long day of travelling with childeren and expected to arrive and relax and swim .... We where stuck in the lobby for over three hours before they told us we don't have any other alternative because the hotel reached full compacity" we where then sent upstairs after the long wait and twenty minutes later a family lets them self into the hotel because they had been checked into to the same hotel room because the staff where completely U proffessional and lack experience or organisation it was EMBARASSING for both us and the other family who where sent to our room ..... They did not even offer us any type of compensation for their completely disgusting welcoming and service
And did not give us the room we paid for
The entire ordeal has ruined the entire holiday for us NEVER AGAIN !!!
