Large well maintained rooms. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and welcoming and the rooms have some decent views. A short drive from the airport but no shuttle that I could find. Bar was very good and so was the food! Would recommend this to anyone staying in the San Fran area.
Room was wonderful and view was a pleasant surprise as well. Very clean and one of the softest beds I've ever slept in. Will be staying again. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star stay was the paid parking. $20 is a steep parking fee for an unsecured lot when we already paid to stay. Especially when going out to our car in the morning and seeing the truck next to us had been broken into.
Shuttle bus service is the worst
I'm waiting for the shuttle for.almost 50 minutes.
Called the desk twice and they said they had dispatched one but didn't come by and called them.again and now they are saying they will.send the shuttle now
All the hotel.shuttle buses around the airport passed by except Hilton.
Hyatt passed 4 times while I was waiting.
ANZA parking 3 times and Park SFO , SKY PARK twice .....
I am a regular air traveller who travels out of SFO 2-3 times a month and I've tried many airport parking and hotel shuttles but HILTON shuttle is the worst.
They need to improve the service. Hope they take this business seriously.
If you plan to go to San Fransisco, consider staying at this hotel. What you will get.. good deal, fresh air from the bay, reduced parking fees compared to the area, quite and clean rooms and friendly service from the staff. I will definitely go back..
The staff was hospitable but the rooms had a funky odor during my stay. There is a nice walking trail right outside the hotel that runs along part of the Bay.
I love flying in and being able to spot your hotel from the final descent/approach. Coming from Southern California where our transportation systems sucks I m always looking forward to BART and Bay Area s transpo and was totally willing to bus it the 3 miles to my hotel for the night. Heck I might have walked if money was a consideration, but my buddy picked me up and dropped me off at my Hotel. That waterfront gets a decent breeze, but at least it s not cold like on the other side of the city.
It s a good sized hotel, feels new, clean building that fits in nicely among the hotel row. I actually expected more things to do with all the hotels around, but there is almost nothing within walking distance. Maybe that s why each hotel has huge lots for parking as they expect everyone to have rental cars as this area isn t IN the city.
Breakfast kind of was a joke downstairs and the bar was pretty basic on drinks, very wine heavy. I fully expected it to me more secluded versus on the way to the elevators. Hours were not adjusted considering there was a huge conference here. Parking was comp d to the room, but the parking lot itself was a maze to get out of. My room was spacious with a large TV and plenty of space to unload for an extended stay, great water pressure on the 9th floor. Solid AC, but the fan in the bathroom was weak and no independently switched. Closet space to hang up suits and clothing was limited. Dry cleaning was a little expensive, but the laundry was like $6 to wash a pair of underwear and only a little more to do a suit. I really thought they d do it by item or bag or something versus individual item pricing like dry cleaning, which makes sense.
Check out was super easy as was the extra key situation. Check out was at noon, which is convenient for long nights and short days, but late check out was 2pm, which is super late.
Maid s adhere to the sock on the door notification as the universal flag of come back later or even no service today.
Late night checkin, room service till late, but nothing seemed appetizing considering the breakfast was a bust. Not quite extended stay food. Close to BART and Caltrain. They have a shuttle that will take you to the airport, but don t count on it, inconsistent. The 9th floor window actually opens (maybe I m just used to Vegas windows not opening at all). I ll return at a discount, though if I m coming to SF I m coming for the city and this is only super convenient if you have an event here only.
Very nice hotel. Not as new as some others I've stayed at but in good shape. Comfortable bed that is on the firmer side.
A nice and easy airport hotel to use while overnighting near SFO
Very clean room. Upscale room feel. Bathroom is very large. Comfortable bed. Pool is small but indoors and very well kept. Family friendly location. Only minor complaint is the lack of a mini fridge in the room.
Just your run of the mill Hilton, nice but not exceptional. No reason to stay here unless you need to be near the airport.
Service is great. The rooms are awesome and get Executive for 15th floor. They got a great lounge.
I was in a room on the 14th floor with a beautiful view of the planes coming in. Service was great and staff was very friendly. Room was clean.
The room was nice, staff was friendly. I got checked in very quick. The lounge was nice. The WiFi was horrible though.
I m a wedding coordinator who had a wedding at Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront. The view of this hotel is amazing. Our guests were really impressed with it. Plus, the rooms are spacious and service is excellent. I am so happy our guest's perfect wedding happened here. Their food is delicious as well. I would highly recommend here to our couples.
Not bad for a next to the airport overnight stay. Would stay again. 4+
Love this hotel stay here frequently. Room could use a slight update.
I stay at Hilton everywhere. This was a 5 star. But since you've reopened dining the place is horrible. 1 person putting orders together and getting out complimentary coffee? In the morning when everyone is trying to get going? Poorly organized. Shame on you. Fix it I will change my review.
Enjoyed my stay greatly. We got upgraded to the suite, which was massive with 2 bathrooms which both had showers. Can't comment on anything besides the room, which was fantastic.
Went for a conference, conference rooms were great, always stocked, and the rooms were quite nice and the a/c worked well.. Had no problem falling asleep after a few days of hard work..
I attended a wedding reception here at the Hilton on November 25, 2016 (Black Friday) and I loved how the entrance displayed the newlyweds' names in pink. There were also slideshows of the newlyweds in the hallway, which led to the ballroom holding the reception. Hilton staff usually exceed my expectations with their hospitable, kind, and flexible actions.
I enjoyed my time at the wedding reception here at the Hilton and would recommend others to hold their wedding reception here in the future as well. Dance floor was massive enough to fit two large families. Great staff and plated dinners were delicious.
Absolutely gorgeous setting with beautiful areas to water and enjoy nature. An older hotel yet service was superb. Fantastic central location to get around Burlingame, Millbrae, Belmont, San Mateo and San Francisco proper is about 10 miles or 20 minutes away.
NO FRIDGE in the room! When we asked front desk they said they can only store the food in the fridge. Some of the management people at the front desk were not friendly.
Nice view of the bay if your on a high enough floor. Some of the fittings could use done updating but generally good stay
Excellent hotel close to the airport (5min) and directly on the bay. Local restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. You'll have wonderful views of the approaching aircraft into SFO.
We parked at the lot. It was convenient for the airport.
Hotel is conveniently close to the airport but not close to downtown San Francisco. Hotel is located near the water and there is a nice running/walking trail for use.
Nice place! Expensive parking! Service can be better!
All staff very friendly; The super delicious buffet and very clean rooms, very comfortable beds and excellent location; I loved
Probably the most disappointing Hilton I've ever stayed at. A few quick notes:
-The "indoor heated pool" was way too cold to be comfortable. Several patrons had complained to maintenance and all we got was lip service--it was still icy cold when I checked out.
-The room was disappointingly dirty... "oh look, someone else's hairs in my shower!". Room service did come and do a quick tidy up, but a clean bathroom isn't something that guests should have to go above and beyond to request.
-Parking, wifi, and breakfast are all upcharges. Hilton at least tells you this up front, but it's worth noting because there are quite a few nearby hotels that provide these services free of charge.
Most disappointingly, we were part of a fire alarm hotel evacuation that took place at around 4:30am on the night of our stay. Communication was incredibly poor; we had no idea where to gather or what was happening except thanks to a few guests able to get to the bottom of things.
Emergencies do happen, but this evacuation was then complicated by the fact that for the next 4-5 hours after we were allowed back in our rooms, "technical difficulties" caused the fire alarm to sound every 15-20 minutes. The whole experience was terribly upsetting for my family and we never got back to sleep after the hotel was evacuated, and Hilton did virtually nothing to help allay our frustrations or fears. Hilton never issued any apology, and simply "thanked us for our patience" over the loudspeaker repeatedly.
Hilton, thanks for *your* patience while I no longer stay at any of your hotels.

Convenient hotel if you have a flight next day or so. Free shuttle available which goes every 20 mins (punctual), parking is $14 on the weekdays. I went there at the end of my trip, I dropped the rental vehicle at the SFO rental return and took the sky train to the SFO airport, got out of the terminal and the hotel shuttle picked us up to go to the hotel! Shuttle will pick you up from any terminal! Saved me parking $
Fantastic hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Brilliant all around service, would certainly reccommend and stay again
Outstanding hotel. bay view wasn't that impressed from my room. I was very impressed with the room. Food was standard asked from well done burger got med, though the dog seemed to like it. Overall very good stay.
would not stay here again, service is meh, Double-tree and the Marriott were better choices on past visits.
1) arrive and have to sit in my car waiting on someone to come out to valet the car.
2) after checking in, hit the bar. Takes bartender forever to take my order, place wasn't busy.
3) Room was so/so, nothing great, at least had a water view and 14th floor.
4) Concierge lounge was so so during happy hour. The breakfast was pretty solid and standard.
5) at checkout asked if I wanted my bill emailed. I usually say no because I have had some places not email it me. I mention this and confirm my email, sure enough, no email from Hilton, should have grabbed the paper bill. Had to go and pull it off of my online account.
6) Leaving had to again wait a good five minutes at the valet stand for someone to come grab my ticket.
7) Wi-fi is free but really slow.
First world problems, i know. I travel for a living a just like my hotel accommodations to go smoothly. I stayed at the double tree and the Marriott and prefer those over this location. The Aloft is a nice option as well.
Stayed May 2015
Big and clean rooms, comfortable beds, it's a good hotel to spend a night or two if you have business close to the airport.
Minor construction. Not welcoming and bad signage. Hotel itself was comfortable.
A little far from airport and city. Clean, but needs remodeled.
The food was a little expensive in the restaurant but overall it was good but apparently the chicken Cordon Bleu is not the greatest
An excellent hotel, super attentive attention, very nice rooms it is noticeable that some furniture and structure are old, but they are maintained to the and screens of 60 ", to a super price very near the airport and of San Francisco, super recommendable, employment parking, very clean
Love it there, wife an I absolutely enjoyed our stay.
The staff was helpful, the room was comfortable, and the view of the bay was nice and relaxing!
This is a beautiful hotel, I would have given the hotel a 5-star review butt the only problem I had was that our sheets were not clean, they obviously weren't changed. the breakfast was absolutely great the hotel's nice but they obviously cut corners and not changed out the bed linen.
Clean rooms, short drive to downtown San Francisco, and much more affordable than the downtown hotels
The location of this airport hotel is unlike most as it's not on a busy road, in fact it over looks the bay which when the sun goes down is really nice. You can walk down to the waterfront from the hotel which is about 2 minutes away. Our room was clean and tidy with a large and comfortable bed, it's all we needed! The restaurant on site was also very good if not a touch expensive. Overall a very good experience.
Any hotel that charges $2.00 for a can of soda or a small water doesn't care about it's customers.
The place was welcoming and friendly . Felt very at home. Views and landscape pristine .
I only stayed for a little while personally. My family stayed overnight and they enjoyed it. Nice view and surprisingly inexpensive snacks. Front desk was very accommodating when we were given the wrong room initially.
Great rooms on the executive level and friendly staff assisted with our event. The buffet lunch was good.
Clean lobby, only one restaurant lounge in lobby area.
Beautiful views. Wonderful staff and food. Extremely comfortable room. Very clean. Great service. My husband and I were down with the flu for a few days during our stay but the staff came to the rescue. Fresh fruit tray with Perrier water and a few sweet treats compliments of the staff to help us get better. We couldn't ask for a better trip, flu and all.
The hotel was nice. Convenient to the airport. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The executive lounge was a big fail. Not clean, scraps of food no bartender to be found but I don't usually use them anyway so I just went back downstairs.
Nice spacious rooms, bathroom is a little small, and there are no mini fridges. Close to caltrain shuttle stop.
Friendly and accommodating staff always. Close proximity to airport, there's a complimentary Hilton shuttle to and from the SFO airport as well. Rooms have a typical old school Hilton feel but are always very clean. Hotel restaurant has good food as well and bar is always lively at night! There is also a walking path close to the hotel that overlooks the bay where you can watch airplanes land at the airport and enjoy some fresh air.
We checked in last night (9-12-2020) and for the most part, it was clean.
We had a one night stay.
Parking is not free. However, Wi-Fi is included and they offer a Business Center and fax machine privileges.
All elevators were working to accommodate the social distancing guidelines and the lobby was properly CLEANED and looked beautiful and vibrant.
I would recommend this location.
Always a great stay with friendly staff and clean rooms!
Very pleasant stay, room was very clean, and they provide a lot of towels.
Beautiful rooms. Excellent service. Nightmare parking.
Disappointed with the quality of the facility. Outdated rooms.
Service was great. Slight confusion with timing but staff was amazing with accommodations.
Put a hold on the entire amount of my stay instead of the $50 that they were supposed to hold...AND billed me for the room separately! (3 charges) didn't credit the hold for ten days!!! Totally deceptive billing practices and probably not approved by corporate. Broke the transaction into two charges of $179 and $1on the initial hold (probably too skirt the standard billing system). Shady!!! Stay away unless you want to boost their numbers during reconstruction.
