I went in 2006 and it was an unforgettable experience

Beautiful resort peace, beautiful beach, beautiful.pool, spa, and excellent cuisine!

If you are looking for paradise on earth that's where you need to stay! Even by looking at the pictures on website you can't appreciate how amazing this place really is.
The staff is really attentive since the first moment you put your feet in, they make you feel at home but you are constantly pampered and cared for. The resort is outstanding, the landscape is just spotless and full of plants, nature, artificial lakes and waterfalls..it really fits in the immense beauty and biodiversity of Mauritius.
There are plenty of activities and most of them are free! Just ask any member of the staff and they'll be happy to help you with anything.
Food it's really good too and the breakfast selection it's delicious.
Really hope to be back one day!

A perfect resort with the friendliest staff you could imagine. Everything is exceptionally maintained and facilities absolutely brilliant. It comes very highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, clean, excellent food and positioned on a stunning white sandy beach, who could ask for more.

The standard rooms are nice but be careful with interconnecting doors, they are paper thin so privacy can be compromised, room 2003 is on the beach with no interconnecting doors so perfect.

Nice clean room with balcony. Staff are nice and friendly. Good breakfast but they need to improve dinner quality and variety in the main restaurant.
Water activities are very good and free. WiFi is good with good speed.
Beach is clean and quiet. Adult swimming pool is amazing with beautiful view over the ocean.

Yes, the Hilton! Nothing compared to the service you would find in other Hilton hotels. The landscaping is "crowded". Last time I went there (2015) I was surprised to see so many chinese tourists just arriving for their holiday and "off loaded" by the dozens. Of course, a bit noisy to relax with big groups like that. My star rating is based on the Hilton's (Mauritius) policy in terms of large groups.

We had a very good experience at Hilton and we would recommend others for a holiday @ Hilton.A warm and caring staff as soon as we reached there.

I lived in a 2023 junior room overlooking the pool and the sea
The room is spacious and there is a balcony. There is a shattaf in the bathroom and all the tools in the bathroom are written in Arabic. They do not provide brushes and toothpaste and there is a sticker towards the direction of the qiblah and the hotel is very nice and the restaurant's dealings are very fine.

Hotel location on beautiful sunset beach, excellent for swimming
Breakfast at 7 am a varied buffet, there are eggs, cheese and all fruits
Dinner from 7 pm to 10 pm is a buffet, and every day a kitchen is different
Excellent for those with children, there are games and a swimming pool, and they can swim in the sea, not deep and there are no waves
Every day they attend a singing or parade group that offers segments from 7 pm to 11 pm

Beautiful hotel, good service and great facilities.

1- location is nice
2- rooms are big and clean we took the beachfront junior suite but no enough lightening, the AC wasn t that good, and the balcony door need to be fixed
3- staff are very nice and friendly but they are very slow with their service starting with the reception, concierge, and restaurants.
4- the thing that will make me not come here again is the food services, food isn t good except at the LES COQUILLAGES restaurant. Breakfast buffet serve the same menu everyday no enough variety and no changes at all so for someone who stayed for a week that was too much. Dinner options at the buffet are different but all Indian food so again too much. Room service and other lunch places like aqua bar their food wasn t good at all, plus the slow service.
5- closing time for most of the activities here is 10:30 to 11 pm, and for Restaurant 10 pm. Even in the weekend when we asked them they said guest don t like the noise after that time as it is a relaxing place! I believe people came here to enjoy their vacation no one sleep that early! and all ages should be considered as they all paid the same amount of money!!!
6- during the day both pools are very quite no music or anything yet when asked they said we don t want to annoy our guests who are here to relax! For kids pool there s no enough activities for them there, for adults pool it s nice but still slow service and very quite and boring sometimes.
7- sea and beach activities are good the staff were so helpful and surprisingly fast, and i think all activities are free of charges for hotel guests.
Won t come to this hotel again and won t recommend it for more than 2 days, it s not relaxing as it suppose to be as the service and options are going to frustrate you, and it is not fun too.

Good standing hotel. The staff is very numerous and always ready to help. The buffets are generous and of good quality and can satisfy the most demanding. It is a pity that there is no toilet and changing room near the swimming pool, which is not at all practical. The beach, like many is more beautiful in photo than in reality because the sand is filled with pieces of corals and pebbles which makes walking difficult 'even dangerous.

The grounds are incredibly well kept and all the staff were provided a great experience and service. The rooms are a bit dated but having direct garden access from the room was a bonus.
There are multiple happy hours around the bars to keep you adequately tipsy. Plenty of free water sports with free wi-fi all around the resort and the 4k TVs are amazing.
The food options and overall quality was average, particularly for the price so do take the time to explore food options in Flic-en-flac

We were very satisfied, the service was excellent and the kitchen was varied and of a high standard. We lived in a direct beach location with a great view of the sea. The beach is very clean and was never overcrowded. The rooms, which have already been modernized, are furnished in a modern style, but the rest are worn. The hotel offers many beach activities at no extra charge and invitations to social drinks, which we gladly accepted. We would love to come back.

We have stayed in almost 100 different hilton properties and this one was one of the best. It is located in one of the most beautiful part of the island and it is easy to reach most attractions from the hotel.Rooms are well maintained and spotless,food was delicious and varied to satisfy every taste and the attitude of the staff was second to none. Management team is always around and making sure everyone is happy. The head chef and his team are so approachable and would like to know if they can do anything more to make guests happier. All we encountered were friendly and went above and beyond to meet our needs. I would like to thanks all of them and I feel a bit guilty mentioning only a few names here, as all were fantastic. We had the opportunity to have more contact with: Amar looked after us for the entire stay, he went the extra mile not only to give my husband and I the special diet requirements we had but arranged a wonderful surprise for our anniversary. Renga was always always there for us, very attentive,had a big smile and a'CAN DO'attitude.
Pallavi was very polite and professional. Josh is a very talented chef with a very nice personality not only did his job perfect, he gave us lots of tips about where to go to buy some specialities we wanted. I was surprised how he cooked what I wanted on spot for me!Iresh is a great supervisor with lots of experience which shows from his attention to details and the way he surpassed our exptations. We should congratulate the General Manager for his management style which keeps the smile on the staff faces all day long.

We stayed with my husband at the Hilton hotel from 01/20/2019 to 01/27/2019.

The +:
- Beautiful hotel, very clean, spacious, attentive staff, clean room, spacious and cleaned every day.
Many FREE activities (or rather included in the price) available: paddle, kayak, pedal boat, boat trip, sailboat, SPA, gym, tennis, bike ride ...

- The excellent morning / noon / evening buffet, of quality, plentiful, with different themes each day.
The hotel's page is clean and well-maintained (beware of cubs and coral though).

- The welcoming, smiling, very respectful, kind staff ... Some servers are extremely professional, others are learning ... but in no way detracts from their sympathy.
Thank you to Natacha for taking care of our room perfectly and for her smile, very touched by her little creative attentions;)
The extremely nice animation team (Steeve, Jessica ..), not at all intrusive for activities and respects the freedom of the holidaymaker who often prefers the deckchair / pool / sea activity!

BEMOLS:

- the price of drinks, excluding pension, is very or even too excessive ... especially coffee, cappuccino, too bad;

- we did not know that men have the obligation to wear pants for dinner, every night without exception, in all restaurants, rated "Smart". A little heartbreaking for a "vacation" atmosphere.

- Flic en Flac does not offer interesting outings, particularly in the evening when it is compulsory to take a taxi to move (or car rental). It is not the best city to walk around in terms of the variety of pubs / bars / restaurants / shops.

- BIG RED CARD TO MARY, A FUIR mandated by the hotel:
An appointment on your arrival, which will take you time and especially UNDER! The excursions are OUT OF PRICE and, for the most part, not always worth it. The meals are lousy, Marie is not at all accommodating and just wants to do business to boost her communication, too bad, the customer is not just a wallet on legs ...
I strongly suggest that you hire a car and / or hire a guide, which is less expensive with less waste of time in the "tourist trap" shops not mentioned by Marie during the sale.
Do not go through the hotel for your excursions which are widely publicized. Also for changing currency. No commissions at the airport unlike at the hotel ...
The island is small and "safe" enough to be completely independent.
If you want a vehicle, see the agencies directly (airports or surroundings) 59euros per day via Marie, approx. 35th the day by a rental agency type Avis .. with the same conditions (insurance ..).

We still retain some positive and a good trip "break from the routine".

The resort is amazing rooms and service are very good, but there is alot of coral on the beach, so you need footwear to go in the water.

Excellent Hotel very friendly staff all say hello with a hand over there heart . Lovely beach the sea on on site most 200 meters walk. Dolphin trip included on the hotel. All water sport's on site as well. Ok not the More

Great resort with lots of activities. Food and drinks are very pricey. Evening Buffet is anyhow great even 120e for foid an bottle of sprkling is bit extensive for buffet dinner. Tap water is not drinkable and only 2 half liter bottles if drinking water provided to room so prepare to buy some more. Very hard to get your gear dry after snorkling or qick eash as there is absolytely no place to dry clothes in room. Air conditioning works great and there us no draught or excessive noise. Staff if mostly very knowledgeable and helpfull. Thnks for oreparing great holuday for us!

Excellent resort, beautiful nature and extremely friendly staff. Place that can equally serve for holiday and business purposes. Strongly recommend.

The complex itself is really spacious, romantic and very nicely laid out. Pool with bar.
Daily leisure activities water sports etc.
Weddings can also be held here and are of course picturesque with the surroundings. But it is certainly not something for everyone, as this cannot be compared with a traditional wedding in Germany!

Prices are just pretty high.
The complex itself is very remote from the town and the service could be a little more attentive and friendly.

I had been there a few years ago! the magnificent structure but the service left something to be desired! now much improved!

Serenity of this place is overwhelming. Literally everything you need to enjoy your stay is there. Staffs are super nice and attentive. It was compelling enough that for my second visit of this lovely island I stayed in the same hotel.

Very beautiful! Green manicured and view from the priceless room. The restaurant / bar inside is a bit expensive. Clean beach. Great spa service. Little animation in the evening, considering that outside the complex there is nothing but a couple of restaurants. In any case recommended!

It feels pleasantly the setting is beautiful and the staff is very caring. I will not forget this warm welcome, an area in which the Mauritians excel !!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and it was fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly, the Thai restaurant is incredibly good, and there were always plenty of free lounge chairs on the beach. It was expensive, but I doubt it was any more expensive than the surrounding resorts. Another great selling point is the boathouse, they offer free snorkeling, kayaks, pedal boards, and some boat trips which were very cool. I highly recommend this resort.

The Anlagae is really nice, but the food is not good and the staff horrible. We had to wait two hours for the food in a day with almost no visitors. Not worth the money

Nice property but not apt for people having veg food. I stayed there for 6 nights but the hotel management paid no heed for providing veg food.
Only 2 of the 6 nights the Indian chef was present and provided us some veg food.
Apart from the veg food all great.
No restaurants around the property.

Very bad....Food not to the level expected of a five star hotel...No tissue paper in toilets..

Spacious rooms with a nice bathroom and lots of storage space, although cleanliness could be improved a little (mopping/vacuuming more often perhaps), as feet got a little dirty just from walking inside the room. The staff are friendly, although service was a little slow most times and not as attentive to guests as could be (eg. we sat down at the couch area at the pool and after no one came to ask us what we wanted within 5 minutes, we had to inform a staff member that we would like a menu and to order something).

The dinner buffets had some good food and the change-up everyday (Mauritius, Indian, Seafood, French nights) was a nice addition in order to try a variety of platters and styles. The fruit (watermelon, pineapple) were however not that good most of the time, a little disappointing as Hilton normally has delicious fruit.

The free activities at the beach (Wind surfing, sailing, kayaking) were a really nice addition and there is surprisingly quite a bit of life in the water if you went snorkeling, but you have to go on a calm day and find a place with corals in order to see all the marine life (I saw: lionfish, trumpetfish, triggerfish, angelfish, lots of sea urchins, pipefish, small moray eel, porcupinefish, boxfish, moorish idol, butterflyfish and many more).

Overall a really enjoyable 10-day stay on a beautiful island! It is however a slightly older hotel building (almost 20 years old), so there are a few aforementioned things that could be improved to make it an even better experience for the guests.

Outstanding hotel in all points of view: location, style, architecture, gardens, swimming pools, catering, hospitality, cleanliness, quality of service, etc, etc ... and yet, I know to be critical!
I think the pictures on the site speak for themselves ...

In addition, there is an infirmary service with a very nice nurse to treat all the small "bobos" ... It is appreciable.

Come on, just a joke: if you have breakfast in your room (to enjoy the view), you can note on the card to complete a small fee (amount forgotten but acceptable), but in fact, in addition to this supplement, you will have to pay the amount of the breakfast "in room". To know !!!

Great events, superb restaurants and excellent service

It was an absolute delight. I am definitely going back. Lovely hotel, amazing and friendly staff. It's a place to be.

Amazing hotel. Very friendly staff. Food is excellent. Peaceful relaxation time spent.

Amazing staffs, very polite and welcoming. The food was delicious even though we had to choose from the same menu everyday. However, my wife and I were a bit disappointed as the consierge told us that special amenities were prepared for us for our first night of honeymoon but nothing more than 3 petals of plumeria on our bed. Furthermore, no sea activities and uncleanness of the pools were kind of a let-down.

Hotel Mautitius Resort and Spa has been a very good experience. From the first day to the last, the staff of the hotel haw been very welcoming and courteous. A variety of good food, drinks and leisure activities. Will surely go back again to this amazing experience.

Beautiful place but service not up to Hilton. Clean rooms, poor restaurant service. And other annoying little things that ruin the place.

Nice place, only used the ball room and garden area. Cocktail snacks were quite unseasoned though.

Great hotel, with a huge number of facilities. Dolphin tour, snorkel tour, stand up paddle, canoeing you name it. Thai restaurant of high quality and the people are always there for you!

I really liked the set up. You have pools right next to the ocean, so you can lie by the pool and quickly dip in the ocean, should you so choose. My only advice would be to get at least the half board package available, as the closest restaurants or venues outside of the Hilton are quite a way away, and dinners at any of the Hilton restaurants are very pricey.

Very disappointed with the buffet. No proper tagging. Beer dispenser out of service.
