Nice view and clean, if you are not there members you have to pay for the WiFi!
No hot water when needed. Blankets had holes in them. Needs updating. Good view
Good location, hotel definitely needs updating, front desk people need a reorientation
Only visited the casino section and was an overnight guest at another hotel. Service there was friendly and receptive, being both efficient and helpful when asked questions about the machines/tables or directions. Layout itself was slightly confusing what with all the lights but not impossible to grasp. Services such as ATMs, bars and redemption machines were never far apart and always readily accessible.
Great staff, rooms were very clean and the accommodations were adequate
The view of Niagara Falls is beautiful with all its beautiful colors very nice hotel very good service
Room was clean, view was nice. That's about it. I booked my room a couple days prior only to find out that I paid almost 3x the price advertised on Groupon without any of the perks. There was a giant lineup at check-in, very poor and long process. The tv in our room was barely working, wifi was spotty at times (but it was a very windy day so maybe not the hotels fault). Vending machine ate all my change and didn't dispense any water, the person over the phone was not helpful and told me to go to the front desk to get a refund - didn't offer any alternatives. No toothpaste, no showercaps, room had very visible water damage all over the ceiling. Pretty bad experience overall. None of the front desk staff was wearing masks (behind a plexiglass) which was very odd in these times of covid...
Hotel staff at the front check-in desk were awesome. Especially the front desk manager Robert - he went above and beyond. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Nice place. But the pools were closed. It's overpriced. We paid 750 for 2 nights. I'd rather go to Airbnb for that
Overall a good stay. The room was ideal for a large group and we had a decent view over one of the falls.
There was no SANITIZERS in room, I booked for new year eve from booking.com and the price after tax was something around 260 CAD but after comming 330CAD on my credit card. The view is good but, it is the first hotel I stayed in Canada and I surprised for poor service. You pay for hotel and you have not even 1 bottle of water in your room. You have too pay 50 dollars for parking every night! What do you really call 4 star Hotel dude?
Room's air-conditioning generates wind noise more than normal
The restaurant was good, not great. Not use to the servings of the menu. Food was ok, view of the falls was nice. It was really busy, but our server was really nice.
They still have not returned my $200 deposit from my visit in February. I have called multiple times and they always my money will be returned shortly and it never is. Feels like a scam.
Really nice rooms, great view and friendly staff. Would have given it 4 stars but the "tourism tax" is nothing more than price gouging and that alone is enough for me not to come back. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that doesn't charge the fee or will waive it upon request. Also they charge for wifi where as most other hotels offer it free of charge.
Parking directions not clear, parked at fallsview In the same building, they were not able to comp
The Hotel was wonderful. They where very accommodating. My family and I had a blast.
Wife and I have celebrated 3 anniversaries there. Each time we were able to have a high floor in the North Tower - as requested. The front desk staff have always been accommodating and wonderful.
Great view of American falls from our room. Lighted falls and fireworks were very pretty outside our window. Nice big 2 person jacuzzi.
Loved the morning brunch at the water mark restaurant. Staff is very nice and friendly.
I stayed at the hotel for an anniversary celebration at Niagra falls out was a great experience initially I had book a City view room but got upgraded when I checked in to a falls view the employees were great and friendly and the hotel it wonderfully connected to many restaurants and the falls view casino through indoor routes which read great since it was below zero while I was there overall great experience
Well for fireworks, no one for the 5th and 6th sleeping. Inadmissible to provide a sofa bed of poor quality.
Overall a nice, comfortable hotel. The reason why I'm not leaving 5 stars is because the parking fees are insane. $35 a night for off-site parking. And there was no mention of that at booking.
No mini-bar in room, but no water offered either. Vending machine on floors was broken. Need to go back to lobby for something simple as a bottle of water. No turn-down service, set up sofa bed ourselves (I only mind because of the rate I paid). Pool under renovation.
Great view of the Niagara falls. Comfortable beds abd
One of the best hotels of our vacation. Amazing views, great restaurants, easy access to falls. The pool alone is worth the visit. They have a large indoor pool with safety foam decking, a kids pool, a hot tub, a sauna, and a stream room. Best of all they have a 2 story circular slide!!
Almost everything about our stay was very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the view of the us falls was lovely and check in, despite having a long line, was quick and painless. The only issue we had was that the rooms are starting to show a little wear. The desk in the room was broken. Not in a way that prevented us from using it, just in a way that gave the room a run down feeling. One of the pictures that was hanging on the wall had come loose from its frame and was hanging at an awkward angle. Finally, the jacuzzi tub which was in working condition, leaked a little from the faucet when not in use. None of this were deal breakers, just added to a more run down feeling than you would expect from a big name like Hilton.
Location of hotel is nice but elevators are a problem! They appear to be outdated and take time! Our room view was bad and layout makes 1 room warm while the other is cold! However, the room service was beyond expectation and the price was better than some dine in restaurants we went to salmon, steak, scallops, salads, and strawberry covered with chocolate all perfect.
Great location with indoor access to the casino, rooms are clean with great views. Wifi is non existent or when you do get on its terrible.
I chose a room where I can see the Horseshoe Falls.
It s really great to see the waterfall while lying down.
There is a light show at night.
There is also a casino that is directly connected to the opposite side.
It s not enough to stay for three days and two nights...
Was visiting a friend at the hotel. Room service was great! Beautiful room!
Read about the parking issue prior to our stay, so we were prepared to park off-site for $35/per day. Was surprised that front desk were not wearing masks, although plexiglass was installed. Room was clean but nothing too special. I think there is construction going on in the building and part of our floor was taped off. I think I heard workers talking through walk-talkies at around 3AM? Overall, a decent stay. Considering the large amounts of guests we saw checking in during our 3 day stay, staff did a good job.
Friendly, nice service. We booked 2 rooms, but one of the room smelled like its been flooded before, feel too moisture in the air
Great stay. Hotel was very nice. No need to walk outside in the cold. Hotel is connected to restaurants and the casino.
It's too bad that the fallsview casino keeps their 40 foot billboard on at all hours. It ruins an otherwise stellar view.
The new updates to the lobby were beautiful, but the rooms could use an update. As well as I booked a room with a view off the falls, as well as the jacuzzi. Every staff member we spoke with during our stay were very pleasant, as well as the bed was very comfortable but that is about the only good thing I have to say.
Unfortunately when we got to the room we found dust, which especially during these times (covid) I did expect for the rooms to me cleaner. as well as our heat in the room did not work, we only realized this when going back to our room to get ready for dinner. We called the front desk they sent someone up to our room to fix it, he was very friendly and thankfully was able to fix it within a decent time. After he left I went to take a shower to start getting ready for dinner, there was no water pressure! due to the timing we did not have time to call the front desk to ask for a different room/ to send someone to fix it again. I payed for a falls view and was only able to see the falls through one of my many windows in my room the majority of my view was a mud pit, the room looked nothing like the photos. Waiting for the elevators were another nightmare, waiting for over 15 minutes if not longer this way you were not in an elevator with 6 other strangers. Many people inside the hotel were not wearing their mask covering their mouth and nose no hotel employees asking them to fix them. As well as paying 50$ for parking when you are a guest staying at the hotel, for the price of the stay it should include parking like many of the other hotels.
The stay was no at all what I expected and I wont be planning another stay at the hilton for a while.
I was with my family staying at this hotel from July 21 to 25. the hotal is under construction and every day we had to get up at 7 am because of the noise that wouldn't let us sleep. From the first day we arrived we noticed that the a / c was not working and the filters were completely covered with so much dust, They sent us a technician who fixed it but two days later it broke again, so they sent us another technician. every time the technician goes you have to be present so you lose one to two hours. The hot top was leaking and the water was yellow but we didn't call to keep wasting time on those repairs. parking is not free charge 41 dollars a day. No one told us about the pool that we had to ask for a pass each day to enter. the hilto pool is not working and you have to use the hotel next door. it's only 3 feet of water, the smell of chlorine is unbearable and every day you have to ask for a pass to enter. Very disappointed with the hotel.
This is a scam. Hilton tries to fleece you. Please avoid. Go to the falls after the pandemic and avoid Hilton. If you want to go during the pandemic, please, please, avoid Hilton.
It is under construction. Water is for premium guests. We were charged in USD because "this is an American company." We were offered wine tours that didn't exist. We were told this was because "they had written it in fine print" under the offer. The level of scheming was truly remarkable. Please, avoid.
Normally really great 5 stars easily. My last stay was just terrible. Loud guests in the next room, security needing to be called twice, no toiletries, urine on pull out bed. Unbelievable. That being said when complaining to the agent at the front desk upon check out he was genuinely apologetic and his great assistance in managing the situation ensures that I will return
Located about ~15 minute walk from the falls with a great view from the room (the one we stayed at). A bit pricey, but that's to be expected. Staff is friendly, and resolved a charging issue without a fuss. Overall good quality.
I am absolutely beyond dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel room and hotel in general. The customer service wasn t adequate.
The first impression beyond lobby was the elevators smelled bad and were grungy no One was wiping down the elevators. I get off on my floor head to 2215 and at 5:30pm there are 3 garbage bags of trash and a bag of soiled towels these weren t removed until 11:45pm.
We go out to dinner come back I use the bathroom realize there is a towel hanging on back of door and it is damp as husband did he use a towel nope I am disgusted about the cleanliness of this hotel especially in Covid 19 times
Later on I notice are almost done roll of toilet paper is our ONLY roll of toilet flush the toilette and it backs up this is 10:30pm August 15 2020 call desk ask for maintenance and then they transfer me to house keeping to request toilet paper
11:30 house keeping comes and brings toilet paper an hour later at almost midnight BUT what is even worse those trash bags and dirty towels still there and she leaves them there WTH or and it is 12:30 2 hours later 4 phone calls to the desk and maintenance finally comes to fix toilet
So yeah don t recommend this hotel at all, oh and we were to be in a room with whirlpool and our room definitely only has a shower we checked all drawers and the closet no whirlpool ( clearly I am being sarcastic) this was after manager insisted it was a room with a whirlpool.
I gave stayed in many Hilton hotels and never once had an issue I assure you I won t be coming back to this hotel. The room cleanliness and customer service was deplorable
The location was amazing, the room was also up to par for the price. While wifi in the lobby is free, it was not in the hotel room.
We had a suite. It comfortably fit 6 of us. The washroom was a good size and they had a fridge for us to use as well. The hotel is in a great location right across from the Fallsview Casino and it has a lot of cafes and restaurants in the lobby The staff at the valet parking were extremely helpful and nice. Highly recommend!
Super busy hotel but friendly staff and great view. Only stayed a night and the room was as expected.
Nice hotel, great looking rooms. My friends and I were a little loud so they gave us a warning, which is understandable. We had turned off the music and calmed down however 10 minutes after the first warning security came by and kicked us out on to the street.
Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful
The construction is well masked but the rooms desperately need the renos. Our room was dusty everywhere, the furniture had tears and the bathroom was full of rust.
The rooms are very nice. The pool and gym are under renovation so that ruined our experience a bit
This was a rather disappointing experience... room was not properly cleaned especially during Covid would expect their cleaning standards would be higher. Had to use my own cleaning products (which I always carry with me when traveling) to sanitize and clean marks on the wall and mystery stains. The TV signal was on and off and the quality of the image awful.
Location is good and the size of the room. Staff was polite in general, upon booking over the phone I was told all suites had a microwave, they did not. Parking charges are ridiculous and if I could attach pictures it looked like the air filter had not been changed since the hotel open, it was black and dirty, so much for quality air filtration. I honestly was expecting more, unfortunately my experience was not great and it's a shame.
dirty. Noisy. Negligent service. Not much food.
Dust, fur and hair in rooms and bathrooms. Leaking water dripping from the toilet upstairs. The sound of the next room was not heard because it was not soundproofed. Light enters through the blackout curtain. The building was under construction nearby, so I started to pound from 7am.
Parking $45 per night. It took over 30 minutes to bring my car to the ballet service. Wang annoyance.
Since there is a tremendous shortage of staff, inefficient operation, and a total difficulty due to various problems, the complaint cannot be confirmed or corrected. There seems to be no intention of promoting the convenience and safety of guests. The high-rise restaurant also had a leak problem, so towels were laid on the floor and dried with a ventilator.
I often go to many hotels around the world, which was the worst I've ever stayed in. I have a lot of 1-point reviews, but I don't know how the rating went up and I doubt who gave me a good score. Maybe hire an evaluation team instead of a service staff? Honestly, I want to give you a negative 5 points.
I went in anticipation of the waterfall view, but it would have been better to look at the view in another place and sleep comfortably. I don't think this hotel is.
Very nice, clean and spacious. Had a Falls view family room.
beautiful place, quiet, fun, and the best overlooking the falls,
Thought it would be a wonderful surprise to bring my wife for Mother s Day. When we arrived with our kids, we were blown away with the view and how spacious our suite was! Everything was amazing, until I had to clean the drain out for the sinks to drain.
For a 5 star hotel, they will need to up their game before they get 5 stars from me.
I enjoyed our stay and the room had a spectacular view. I did think the "fireplace" was misleading since it was electric and was not working properly. The room was clean. Service was there but the monstrous hotel is bigger than they have people for. There was lots of construction when we visited.
Rooms have great views to the falls and breakfast buffet was great
Amazing place. Has multiple restaurants inside, live bands, amazing service, and good rooms. My jacuzzi was amazing!
The hotel didn't do total justice to the Hilton brand. As someone with gold status who stays regularly with Hilton hotels, this time it felt like I was paying Hilton money for a Holiday Inn. The rooms look like they need a renovation for a while now. The rooms in South Tower have their temperatures set to 25C and not allowed to be changed which made our sleep uncomfortable. The hot water was iffy with sometimes taking upto 30 mins to come out of the tap. The coke machine on 32nd floor was not stocked and would eat money multiple times. All in all, I would say its by far my most disappointing experience with the Hilton brand. There is a lot that needs to change in this particular hotel to make it worthy of the brand and price tag. The room was worthy of the view though.
The parking should be FREE to Hilton Rewards members. The location was nice- my room had a nice view of the falls. I did notice little indications that suggest that they could freshen up the hotel aesthetics ( loose light fixtures, elevator key pads slightly detached from the walls, wear and tear in the carpets, windows could be cleaner) But the only thing that would probably influence my decision not to stay here again is the TREMENDOUSLY expensive cost to park every day $25-30 per day.
Other Notes:
Dinner Buffet at the Casino is a nice option.
SKIP the hotel's breakfast buffet option- severely overpriced for the quality and quantity of the selection. $20 pp
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would consider visiting again
Got the hotel room facing out to the Canadian &American falls. The view is fantastic and was well worth it. Seeing the fireworks out of your windows is amazing. My only complaint is the empty beer bottle I found under my bed.
Loved this hotel! I was there for work. Can't wait to go back!
Nice view, clean, great place to watch firework in summer. We booked a king bed room with a sofa bed, king bed was great, but sofa bed was too soft, but after all, it's nice value for a family to stay a night or two.
So I would've given the hotel a 10 if I could, but their WIFI is terrible and you do not get all the channels listed. Granted we spent the majority of our trip sightseeing and having fun at Clifton Hill, but our first day we decided to stay in and relax and didnt have much options as far as channels to watch. They offer movies On Demand but of course there is charge. Overall we had a great time and you have incredible views all over the hotel, it is worth the money to get a room with a view especially if this is your first time in Niagara Falls
Room was clean, view of Niagara falls was beautiful (38th floor of north tower), and plenty of space. Only problem was that there was no free WiFi access.
Where s the -5 star option? Terrible experience. The service received was absolutely terrible. A yearly tradition ruined thanks to some of the staff at this hotel. Sadly the experience had will affect other Hilton hotels, as myself and several others will likely never forget this awful stay.
