From the moment we checked in the front desk said that after paying $400 for 2 nights online that it was a additional $100 fee for parking and resort fees, we explained that is nowhere on the site when booking but paid it anyways cash and were reassured that we needed $1 on a credit card just to have on file. I agreed gave them my credit card seen the $1 pending the night at 3am the hotel charged my card $3 and no one could tell me who charged it and why but said it was tax? The day we checkout I get another notification stating the hotel charged my card $53 this time. I called and again was told they didn t know why their system charged my card yet again for another amount. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Fraud. Save you time and money!

This was a horrible experience! I had my sister and her boyfriend visiting me in Florida from Wisconsin. We decided to make the two-hour drive out to Clearwater. We stayed at the Hilton on July 24th. the location was awesome because that's right in the middle of everything. The price wasn't too bad either, until we found out that not only did they charge a $25 Resort fee for using their amenities but there was also the $25 parking fee for valet, which by the way valet is your only option. Anyway, we checked in at about 3: 30. after we got to our room and dropped off our stuff we decided to venture out to get something to eat. When we came back we went up to the room and our keys did not work. So we had to go back downstairs. They scanned our keys again and said we should be good. Well of course they didn't work so back downstairs we went. After doing this three times we got pretty irritated. the man at the front desk then informed us that we had checked out which was why are keys were not working. We had only been there for two hours so far!!! So he apologize for the mistake and checked us back in. Our keys finally worked. Later on we went to the front desk to ask if we could get a few more bottles of shampoo and conditioner because there was three adults and only one set of tiny bottles. They said sure they'll bring them up. Well they never did... So when we went back downstairs they said that we checked out again. at this point we had only been at the hotel for about 5 hours and have been checked out twice and I've been locked out of our room for half of our stay. They checked his back in.... Later that night we asked them what time the latest check out was and they told us that check out was noon but for an extra $50 we could stay in the room until 2 so we decided to do that. So then I asked what the total will be when we leave. I'm so glad I did because they had already charged our card for multiple nights because they kept checking Us in and out!!! We hadn't even spent the night yet!!! So then they had to make another adjustment. The next morning when we went to check out we decided to go get my car from the valet. My front tire on the driver side was completely flat!! I just bought brand new tires 2 weeks ago.... They tried to tell me that it was not not their fault which makes no sense because obviously I did not drive it there with a flat tire... So anyways they get a bicycle pump out of the Janitor's Closet and proceeded to pump my tire up with the bicycle pump! And then they told me that they are not responsible for damages to my car including the tire... I was livid. so we went and complained to the front desk about everything and they did end up refunding us for our entire stay. However the funny part is when we looked at the receipt of what they refunded us for, it was for multiple nights, plus 2 days of charges for resort fees and parking that they had already charged to the card. At this point we had not even been at the resort for 24 hours..... I'm glad they refunded us but the money won't even be back into our account for a few business days. and it was obviously a lot more money than what we were looking at spending since we were only staying ONE NIGHT. So then we had to leave and go to Walmart and get my tire fixed... At my expense. Which ruined our entire day. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I'm very upset that my family's visit was such a circus.

Beautiful pool, the whitest sand I've ever seen, no shortage of bars to roll up to. The rooms are clean and well thought out. Love hotels by Hilton and this resort sets the bar to a new high!

Nice location. Not cheap. Below average service. Didn t bother to clean my room. Had expired yogurts at breakfast buffet. No valet available yet charged me $25 to park. They are going upscale with their prices but service does not match. I ve been going there for years and like the improvements to the facility but not a good value these days.

I booked a room online based on the description of "facing pier 60" for the Sugar Sand Festival. We didn't get a room on that side and we discovered that it's an "L" shaped building. We looked at the first room offered, then I asked for a different room. We ended up with a room in the other part of the "L" where you could see the beach straight on but we also had an overlook of many air conditioning units down below. We could definitely hear them, if we were sitting on the balcony but we were on an upper floor which helped with noise levels. Couldn't really hear them with the slider closed. Desk staff tried to do their best to accommodate my request for a room change. I just didn't know when booking that the view there could include a roof view of A/C. Room was good, restaurant for breakfast was good if pricey. All staff was courteous and helpful. Construction of South side parking lot. We used valet.

It is a shame that a location with such potential, has to be so sketchy. They hide all the fees and restrictions from you until you arrive - after you ve already paid five star prices for you the reservation. We come down here several times a year, and will use one of the many other properties close by in the future.

$600 for 2 nights. They make you pay for parking. That does not include breakfast either. Just a money hungry resort and it's ridiculous. Rooms aren't even nice for the price. Literally the fact it's on the beach is all it has going for it. Everything else about the hotel is less than mediocre.

The hotel itself was clean and the service staff was very good. There were a couple of minor issues such as the door going out to the balcony was super hard to open and close and the door to the hotel room itself slammed shut each time you walked in or out (small fingers beware). The coffee maker didn't work either. My husband told the front desk about these issues and was supposed to get a call back but never did. While these are small items it is frustrating considering the rooms are fairly expensive.

Hilton disappoints! I was pleasantly surprised when I first arrived. Front desk was pleasant, but that was about it. Dined at Carambola, the food was good, service slow. Go to pay my bill, waitress places several charges on my account, manger tells me charges will be reversed. My bank is telling me they are not showing reversed. This morning I call for room service & after several rings I receive a message that room service can't come to the phone. I leave a message, still waiting for a call back. I came here excited to unwind & relax from stress, & not to be on the phone with the manager & my bank. I am more stressed out than I was when I got here. With all the other hotels nearby, disappointed I chose this one.

The location is great and the service was ok. I was less than impressed with the room. For the money Hilton is charging for the stay and all the fees and taxes I expected much more. My biggest issue was the rooms cleanliness. It was not up to par at all. The room in my opinion is very outdated and the beds were old and flimsy. The sheets and towels, though they were probably washed, were visibly stained which was very offputting. Things in the room looked dusty and as though they had not been wiped down or dusted for some time. Again very offputting especially during a time when the hotel promises to be very sanitary due to Covid. We enjoyed the pool and the beach as well as the rest of the resort. However, cleanliness in a hotel room is extremely important so I don't know about another stay with this resort unless they take care of the issue.

This is one of our most favorite places to stay in the Florida Bay. Clearwater Beach is one of the best in Florida and Hilton Clearwater has the some of best customer service we've experienced in the Hilton chain. I have been a Hilton Diamond member for nearly 10 years straight and we choose this hotel when we want to slip away, relax, and have personal time.

This hotel is absolutely amazing its located in the center of mostly where everything is happening. There's shopping, water sports, beach access, bars, and loads of things to do near This Hilton. The staff is extra nice and I love the vibe it gives off.

We stayed for three nights. Nice rooms, great view of the harbor. Starbucks downstairs, lots of shops nearby and the pier activities close by. Staying at a hotel on the beach was the right choice.

Pool area is way over crowded with no where for my mother in-law or pregnant wife to sit in the shade. Hilton hotel offers no shade on their beach front for anyone... without forking over more money $$$ of course. I have two children and a pregnant wife and would recommend staying at another beach resort.

We stayed at this hotel the week/weekend of April 9-12, 2015 for a convention, which there were at least 350 attendees. I have no clue how the hotel conned the convention planners into using their facility! To begin, check in was at 4:00 P.M.; however, our room was not ready by 5:30, so they switched our room. Gulf view is actually roof view. You cannot hear the ocean. You hear the fans from the roof top that your room overlooks! The lamp shades in our room had water stains. The phone did not work. The safe did not work. The shower was tiny, and I am a small person. The entire room had an overall nasty feel, perhaps from the mildew odor. I was ready to leave upon my arrival. The only reason I stayed was for business contacts. The food served at our reception was not chewable. My husband almost choked on it, and had to spit it out. The staff was rude and uncaring. The bathroom had busted tile on the floor, and you couldn't even place a razor in the shower without it falling. There was no place for shampoo, etc. There was only one coffee cup in the room! Two of us could not stand comfortably in the bathroom to brush our teeth! Some of the attendees were forced to move from a suite into another regular room during their reserved stay because this Hilton booked their room to someone else! This is a Hilton! We expected Hilton quality and certainly did not get it. The room we stayed in was at best, a $50.00 a night room, and this hotel is not event worthy.

This place is awesome! Location, location, location!!! This place sits just right. White sugar sand beaches. The tiki hut is awesome for drinks and snacks. The rooms were clean and i had an awesome time at a trade show here. I had some issues with my bill but the staff was polite and helpful and worked through it with me. All the staff were super polite and very helpful to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel staff worked with the trade show that i was a part of and met all the needs of the colleagues i was with. I can t say enough about the area on the beach. We sat and watched fire works at night while smoking a cigar and a cold drink in hand. The beaches were very clean and one day we rented a cabana and really enjoyed that as well. The folks that worked the cabana and tiki bar were awesome. One of the days we rented jet skis and even went para sailing which was really awesome as well. I would love to take my family here for a vacation. All the restaurants and shopping were of walking distance. I rented a car and didn t drive it once the whole week I was there. I would go back in a heart beat!

Buyer beware. Just checked into our "gulf view" room for my birthday. Anything that has the water remotely visible is considered gulf view. I hear only cars and parking lot for as far as the eye can see.

This year due to COVID's hold on the world's emotions, both our family's international & state side travel plans were interrupted. So, our recent trip to this Hilton property was a much anticipated getaway. While we missed the delicious breakfast buffet terribly, the overall stay was stress free, despite all the requirements due to the Pandemic. Special salute to the front desk staff member, Monet, whose patience & professionalism was most admirable. Additionally, "Z", the Manager, once again offered another reason for our family to always consider this property our "Clearwater home away from home". "Z's" genuine flare for reminding guest how much their patronage is appreciated & valued along with his outstanding customer service, is a winning combination!! Salute to Todd for his super friendly reception & his proactive problem solving initiatives with car parking!!

Staff very deceitful and manipulative rude parking manager I was having heart problems and he could care less because because I would not pay him $22 for a meeting that was supposed to be money free on house flipping another fraud in process

Newly remodeled rooms are nice. The showers are a bit small, but that's being really picky. Food and drinks on hotel property is good, but expensive $10+ for drinks. My biggest recommendation is to visit Spotted Donkey. It is on property, but only accessable from the street. They have the best Mexican food and margaritas we've had in years.

You need to take the perspective that you are heading to a beach resort in Florida when coming here. Don't expect to be treated like a Senator. If you set your expectations appropriately, you can really enjoy yourself at this Hilton resort.

The pool is great, and the beach and location are pretty excellent for Clearwater. You've got great food and surf shops right outside the hotel on the main strip of Clearwater.

Parking here is kind of a pain and confusing - so bring some patience dealing with that. We were fortunate to get an ocean view room. Nothing beats waking up to the ocean each morning, much better than a cold Chicago street!

I think this place is great for those who want just a relaxing, little frills getaway on the beach. Renting a chair/umbrella on the beach are great ideas as well - worth the cost!

With the beautiful white sand, entertainment, restaurants and shops, this place is a MUST VISIT!!! stay in one of the many hotels or maybe an air bnb. You re definitely going to want to stay more than just one day here!

Beautiful, modern, clean, and very friendly. Located on the beach; just walk out the door to your lounge chairs! TIKI bar outside and close to resturants within walking distance. Mid May was a great time, not crowded and warm.

Some staff was very helpful others could care less to provide information to guests and attendants at my brothers wedding. The college football final attendants were there and it was like they were more important than the guests and my brother's wedding. Also the lobby is under construction, so lots of loud noises while we were there

Expensive, but great location. I had read other reviews and on arriving I asked for a room that didn't face the street. The room had two small double beds which just about filled the room. Food and drink were a little pricy, but good quality, however, there are plenty of other places you can easily walk to. The staff were friendly and helpful. A sun shade and two chairs on the beach costs $27 for a day, which seemed expensive to us. Because of this (?), the pool gets very busy, so, if you want a spot with shade, you need to get a spot at 9am or earlier. Housekeeping didn't turn up every day, however, when we mentioned this on check out they made an adjustment. We did not notice the thin walls until we had noisy neighbours, then it was very apparent that they were not thick enough. This review comes across as very negative, however we had a great time here and I'd recommend it.

The room was just as pictured online. It was very clean and the staff were courteous. Our stay was very pleasant. Valet parking available as well as activities for the kids, and much more. We had an absolutely beautiful view of both the beach and the city from our balcony. Balconies on the 9th floor have a little more privacy than the other floors. There is a nice little area right behind the hotel on the beach where you can get lunch and dinner served to you. We will definitely go back!

The beds were extremely small, the room was so small too. There wasn t a microwave in the room. And the worst part was you had to pay for chairs and an umbrella on the beach. The cost of rental was soooo high. Otherwise you sat in the scorching sun with no shade.

Excellent location and service, a truly Hilton honors experience. The service was remarkable, the staff very attentive. The room very clean and spacious. Miriam from housekeeping was awesome keeping the room very clean. The amenities offered by the hotel were great and the best part was the location, right on the beach. I find the hotel to be very comfortable and contemporary with the sorrounding hotel. I was vacationing with my wife and we both had an awesome time. Overall it was very relaxing and enjoyable trip . Highly recommend this Hilton hotel

Great location right on Clearwater Beach. Tiki bar in Sand is relaxing. 2 pools were super hot & gross. Staff seemed frustrated with all the drunk guests. It was July 4th weekend. Rooms were not very clean. Located next to Pier 60 & all the activities. There is no excuse for dirty rooms especially at that price, but it seems to be the norm with hotels these days. Guess that's why house rentals are becoming so popular.

The mandatory valet and resort fee tacked on $50 a day. The breakfast was about the same quality as a free breakfast at Hampton Inn or 3 star hotel, but they charge $21 bucks per person. I could have gotten a really nice breakfast for that. The pool was pretty nice and the location was very good. I'll probably stay elsewhere next time.
