No joke, the LOCATION doesn't get any better! However, the building should be picked up, rotated 90 or 135 degrees and set back down so most rooms face the beach/gulf. Demo and new construction might make more sense though. The way it is now, over 90% of the rooms primarily face parking lots and/or roofs. Poor planning. *note: SOME gulf or intracoastal water can be seen from all rooms*
Good place Great Location, but a little overpriced .. They need to remodel to the scale of the Wyndham to get a better Star
staff doesn't do their job, and broke a lot of violations. my best friends brother recently passed away there and all they did was complain about it.
Our weekend anniversary, we had a high speciation for this hotel, 1st of all very noisy location we had a lot a trouble to get a good night sleep with outside noise like sirens and loud cars/bikes and also noise coming from Hotel hallways all night. Beach chairs are not exclusive to Hotel guests so We had as neighbors about 15 college kids smoking Pot and with their own open bar next to us so we decided to change beach location. Elevator situation with COVID complicated always busy with people and some not even following the social distance recommendations. In addition we found breakfast very basic and super hyper expensive for our buck. We are certain we will not be returning to this Hotel ever.
This hotel doesn't live up to he Hilton brand. The rooms while updated recently we're done poorly. The walls were crumbling and someone decided to put the sink faucet on the side instead of back with a sink that angles up on the side which means it's impossible to get your hands under. The entry was under construction which isn't a huge deal but there was no mention on the website. You have to pay for chairs on the beach...which isn't an issue except they only do full days and not hourly or half. We only stayed one night so arrived at 1 and they wanted to charge for a full day. The pool patio was packed...with towels. Every seat had a towel on it but very few people there. We ended up having to remove someone's towel because the staff refused to assist. The drinks at the pool we're just ok. Overall better off at a different hotel or not in Clearwater.
Unfortunately the hotel was VERY crowded, therefore leaving over 1.5hr wait to get into the pool area (waitlist). Also there was only 2/3 working elevators with another long wait for those. Our room was very clean and the staff was very attentive to any requests we may have needed (a rollaway), extra linens, towels.
great location on the beach. Starbucks in the hotel and a nice restaurant downstairs.
Beautiful View of the Beach, located perfectly next to Pier 60, Shops and Restaurants!
Everyone was very accommodating, from Melissa who checked us in and was very helpful to get the room we wanted to Kyle at the cabana rental and everyone in the restaurant. I will definitely come back and even consider CWB as my destination knowing this place is here
The hotel itself didn't impress me as much as I had expected however the staff absolutely won me over. The valet crew couldn't have been more friendly and the young man who delivered our baggage was great! I wish I remembered names because they deserve to be recognized. The pool was very nice especially since we traveled with our 3 kids. I appreciated a shallow walk in pool. It was convenient next to the pier and the beach is beautiful!
I asked for a bay and pier view that is what I paid for..
They put me in room 336 first than moved me to 326
.My view was the construction work being performed at the front of hotel, plus palm trees.
I asked for another room was told nothing was available...
Than Housecleaning manager knocked on my door asking if I had enough towels with security guards??
This morning I asked the housekeeping manager why security
.Response they were just walking by??
Today when getting off elevator, sheriff dept had an officer watching everyone who exited..
I was informed by another employee, jewelry was stolen from a room at the Hilton..
So no.view, sheriff dept at hotel for some reason
Very stressful
I am beginning to think the Hilton frowns on singles as guests..
Not good

I have been to many resorts and hotels and this definitely was a HOTEL. The outside of the hotel is not very appealing but the inside looked newly remodeled. Our room was unbelievably small as well as they only gave us enough soaps for one person when there was three of us. When we got there they told us that there was an additional non refundable $25 charge required (so go ahead and add $25 to your total price) to pay for everything on the resort regardless if you did it or not. The service was slow & at one point the elevators (that were too slow to even use) weren t operating which lead to the use of slightly difficult to find staircases. If you re looking for a decent resort, I would NOT choose this one. It was the worst Hilton I have ever stayed in. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.
This place is amazing! Clean rooms that are roomy for beach front accommodations. The customer service is top notch, the pool is beautiful, the pool bar and beach tiki bar have a variety of drinks, and the private beach is stunning. There are daily resort fees and parking fees but the courtesy beach photo shoot was a very pleasant perk. We loved this place and would love to stay here again!
Good hotel but a little overpriced for what it is. Nothing wrong with the hotel but for the price we payed we expected more
I was not pleased with this hotel. Not as clean the location wasn t great hotel service lacking. As a silver Hilton member I expected better because I am used to Hilton proving good clean hotels
Great spot. Nice amenities and updated rooms. A little pricey...
Right on the beach; private beach. A very good deal!
Loud at night due to cross the street bars. Rooms are great, pool clean and staff was fantastic.
Beautiful location on the best beach in North America.
Visited some friends by the pool, very laid back but elegant
Had a lovely time here in December 2020. Hotel was clean, well-maintained; rooms weren't huge, but matched description well. Bonus points for efficient and well-provisioned laundry facilities! Location was excellent, able to wander out on the beach (with chairs/cabanas) directly, and on the other side very close to large number of restaurants plus Walgreens. Dunkin Donuts directly opposite hotel.
Long, sweeping beach with good sand, and even in December the sea temperature was fine long-term without any wetsuit. Breakfast was fine in quality and price. Staff extremely helpful. A+, would totally stay here again.
This place has the smallest toilets I've ever seen in any hotel. Definitely not a standard size felt as if it was a potty for small children. There was also no full length mirror in the room. Please hang your do not disturb sign on the door house keeping woke me up both mornings at 8. And did not return to replace towels or clean room until really late afternoon if not night.
Great place to stay. The beach is on one side and the restaurants and shops on the other which make it very accommodating. Service has been great and the rooms don't feel outdated. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of the additional charges for resort fees and parking fees that should be included in the price
The only issue was that the bathroom didn't have a locking door and there was no fan in the bathroom.
The resort itself is fine. We travel to a lot of Hilton properties and I would say the staff is less friendly than average here. The big disappointment that may sound like a small thing is the resort fee that really doesn't include anything.
You come here for the beach. But if you want to chair, an umbrella, etc you have to pay for it. frankly this should just be included in the resort fee and it's a little offensive. I've never stayed at a Hilton property that does this before. I would prefer they just increase the room rate and include access to the beach.
With a family of five it was an extra $50 a day for a beach chair.
Rooms could use an update. Great property. Pool, beach, tiki bar and staff are friendly and provide great service.
The staff was really cool. Enjoyed our stay there you could walk right on the beach
This hotel is wonderful. Walking distance to marina, pier, shopping and restaurants . 2 Pools are great ! Beach is the best !
Great hotel. Awesome service and good view of beach
Really love the location and the rooms were super!!! What a view!!
Married by partner at this location on Sept 29, 2017. The experience was absolutely phenomenal. I worked with Courtney to arrange our wedding. She was wonderful and made the experience very positive. We wanted to find a venue that would be easy to work with as a gay couple. They were great. Every staff member was warm and welcoming and we never felt judged or unwelcome!! The beachfront wedding was beautiful. They have staff that keeps people away from the ceremony which helped calm some of our fears. We used the ballroom for our wedding reception. New carpet and new chairs. The foyer area is fully renovated. Beautiful!! The guest rooms are recently renovated and are very nice. Pool area is brand new. They tore out their old pools! This location is in the heart of Clearwater Beach right next to the Pier. Everything is within walking distance. Loved that there was a Walgreens right across street as well as restaraunts!! Nothing but positive things to say!! A special thanks to Shawn at the hotel who checked in with us daily and made our stay very special. And another shout out to Laurie, our banquet captain, who really made sure we were taken care of!!!!!
The best spot on the beach. You can walk to everything from this location. Beautiful beach
Lovely Hilton and the Gulf of Mexico never disappoints..
Amazing! So happy with my stay! Booked this place for a terrific rate at . I love this resort and I'm so thankful I stayed at my favorite hotel for less than what I usually pay.
Beachfront hotel with fabulous walking proximity to all the shops and restaurants by the pier!!! They have activities for the young ones. Cabanas, umbrellas and chairs are available for rent. They have both a beach bar and indoor bar along with a Starbucks and dining within the resort! Hotel is older but it clean and higher floors have fabulous views in all directions!!! Lots of activities available for a fee from parasailing, jet skies and more. Plus, other activities for free like corn hole!!! Great place for family vacations!!!
I have no comment on the hotel but they have a great worker and manager named Ekaterina Osipova. She is an excellent professional, I suggest that you consult with her for any problem.
Looks a bit dated from the outside, but be very nice hotel and conference center. Right on the beach, so you can't beat the views.
Had a great time, but I will warn you there are hidden fees that they don't tell you about in Travelocity.
Nice staff, great location, nice beach, small rooms
On the beach. Sand like powdered sugar. Two pools one for little tikes. Excellent cuisine. Great views, clean spacious room with balcony.
Seriously overpriced rooms with 0 soundproof. Unable to sleep due to all kind of noise from the adjacent rooms and the corridor. Additional and often hidden charges for everything - beach rentals, bike rentals, parking. The gates system with card access is simply funny. Poor guests trying to get through by waving the hands, pushing, kicking. Who has came up with that bright idea?
Another overlook is the only shower on the beach resort does not work.
Very nice resort, compared to the hampton inn with bedbugs in two different rooms, stil waiting to get my credit for this stay with my points of 100,000 also should give me a couple of future stays for free as well also did I mention I'm a gold member! !!!!!!! Was in largo don't stay there
Best location if you want to hit up the bars and pier 60, can lay out on the beach without getting arrested too, so that's nice.
Clean room, great balcony view, walking distance to nearby shops, hotel staff was very friendly. Had a great stay.
Run!! They have the worst hotel rooms in Clearwater Florida very misleading and left us staring at air conditioners that was supposed to be a partial view of the ocean been a member for years and will never rent another Hilton room ever again
Typical Hilton hotel and you get what you pay for. Rooms are clean and updated. Sanitizers are available in all floors but the replenishment is not timely. SD is being followed. Concierge service is no longer being offered and so is daily room service, due to Covid.
Beach access and area is superb. Great location and convenience to walk to several shops n restaurants.
Staff is friendly and very courteous. Would like to stay again.
Very nice hotel located directly at the beach. Excellent service.
Our first night we arrived they had given our room to someone else. It took them a half hour to try and find another room for us. They then proceeded to put myself, my husband and 18 year old daughter into a king room. They told us they would get an air mattress for her to sleep in and try and get us into our correct room the next day. We check into our king room that smelled so bad if stale cigarettes it made us all sick. They never found an air mattress for my daughter and at 1:40 am finally somehow magically found a room with two beds. My Daughter was already asleep in the king bed so her and I stayed there and my husband went to the other room so he at least had a place to sleep. Finally at 3 pm we get into our correct room. There were big blue stains on the carpet from who knows what. About 5 am it sounds like a jack hammer going off in our room. This went on for several mins. Turns out it's something with the plumbing and this happens all hours of the day and night, so constantly woken to by this. The hotel is old and needs to be updated. Several problems with the elevators going out constantly. My husband is a Diamond member with Hilton and we've never had anything like this. Will never stay here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone.
Great place to walk around and relax. Wouldn't go swimming because lots of people are, but if you dont mind that then go right ahead.
Amazing experience! We will definitely be back in the future! Very friendly staff!
The employees were very nice and helpful. The room was very nice and the pools were amazing very very clean.
Went here for a wedding. Ended up paying $20 for valet parking since there was none available. I wasn't expecting this at all so ended up having to use their ATM.
Love, Love, Love the remodled Hilton. Great rooms, great breakfast buffet with very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect beach location.
The rooms have recently been renovated but the finish work is sloppy. The current heavy exterior construction noises easily replace my morning alarm clock.
Bring earplugs if you have a room facing the street. The bass from the nightclub across the way is very loud even with the door closed. Wish there was a self park option. You can tell it s an old hotel with a fresh coat of paint, so don t expect a wow factor. Staff made the stay. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Dig the proximity to the beach and other attractions and most everything else is comfortable. For the price I would consider staying again if I was in the area.
I love Hilton Hotels but I did have the worst night ever the 1st night we stayed until we got a new room. The 1st night we had a room on the East side and the outside noise, Music and street traffic had me awake til 230 AM even though I went to bed at 10 PM. The next day I was a zombie. We did get a new room on the West side and got a better night sleep the next 2 nights. Great area to explore and see the Sunset on the Beach or Pier. They do have beach yoga which is cool but I missed it because I woke up at 1030 because of the loud music that kept me up all night. Hilton has to tell the people about this issue or put in sound proof windows to avoid this problem.
So many hidden fees. Paid 230 for the room. Then a mandatory 25 dollar parking fee and if u wanna take your car anywhere u have to pay another 15$ plus a 40$ for what reason idk. And the morning we leave they charged another 50 xD. Will never stay here again.
Since they were acquired recently they imposed this new resort fee. Not worthy of the $20 a day...for what? Location is their biggest asset. Management was very accommodating to our needs and requests. Rooms need to be updated to justify $$ high cost. Bathrooms were SMALL too....
We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was okay.
Great outside Tiki Bar overlooking the Gulf Sunsets. Just Beautiful
Nice Hilton property right on the beach. Great views and very clean and nice beach. Plenty of nice places close for food and drinks.
Wasn't actually staying at the Hilton but still staff had lots of time for us and very helpful .
Hotel is going through renovation and needs it. But don't let that keep you from coming here. The place is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can ride bikes for free which was really nice. The pools and hot tub is always empty. I went during October, so not to busy with the snow birds yet. The beach is nice, but not Cancun nice. Maybe the north gulf coast will be better.
Great beach and location. The hotel needs some work but the personnel are outstanding.
