terrible service. there was mold in the bathroom. valet parking was terrible (telling us to get our own car and not letting us out with only the kitchen staff helping us). we reserved a room with ocean view and got a terrible view of the parking lot. also took 2 hours for shampoo and conditioner to come to our door when asked for more. overall, don t get your hopes up.

We are very disappointed and have not even arrived at the hotel. Our room was to be ocean front and the representative told us the room was ocean front. When we checked our reservation we are harbor front. We called and they are unable to fix the issue even though we are willing to pay the difference. We can not cancel without paying for one nights stay. We were also informed about the resort charge and parking fee. Where is customer service ????

4 starts because the room was clean for the exception of the bathroom. So the room service wasn't good, but the breakfast staff was awesome. Becky and Marty provided excellent service. Ms Marty made sure the food was hot and Delicious and Becky was our server. I requested sweet tea and she said they only serve unsweet, but offered to make me some the "southern way". She made some for our entire table and it was good. Thank you so much!!!!! Kudos to Becky and Marty!!!!

Love the beach and the pools at this locations. There is a reason why it is always voted the best beach in america. The Rooms are remodeled inside but the outside needs some work. There is tons of shopping in the area and you will never find better sunsets!

Beautiful place. The bar tender in the lobby bar was superb and very friendly although the bartender on the beach was not attentive or polite at all. I wish I had names to give but I don't. Also, the service at the front desk was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a great view of the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was nice and comfy, but rates were a bit deceiving, there was about an extra $80 added on to the quoted rate, in fees. We had the worst night of sleep because of yelling and slamming doors until 4am when we finally called the front desk. The whole Clearwater area was a lot busier than expected!

We were here for a conference but we really enjoyed the Carambola restaurant, pool and beach. If you are going to the beach be sure to bring your own umbrella. They charge $20 to rent one.

The hotel has been under renovations which are nearly complete. It is beautiful. The new atrium is bright and welcoming. There are plenty of places to sit and relax in the lobby and atrium area. The hotel is on the Gulf and has a private beach. The Tiki Hut is the bar directly behind the hotel and is the only bar on the beach itself. The rooms have comfortable mattresses, soft linens and good water pressure. The shower heats up quickly too. The only issue is that the walls are thin. So thin that I could hear my next door neighbor snoring all night and hear every word of a phone conversation he was having.

I saw the cleaning crew sweep dirt into the corners and down the elevator shaft, the rooms are small, and the TV doesn't work very well but the location and view (in some parts of the hotel) is great.

Extremely disappointed. Mattresses are so old that I keep rolling out of bed because it is so worn out (I'm writing this review at 2:30 am).
Bathroom was dirty and floors in the room felt sticky. The hotel has seen better days. I was at the front desk and overheard 2 other guest complaints (clogged drains, replace pillows). I should have known that it would have been a bad experience. Pillows were small, square, and inadequate. They were the size of pillows you would put on a couch, not in a bed.
Choose another hotel if you plan on staying in Clearwater Beach! We will be cancelling our 2nd night and moving to a different hotel.

Just flew in knowing the gulf temp is cold but they have 2 pools and all 3 of my kids are excited.....but just to find out that the pools are under construction! Nothing like seeing the disappointment on a 5, 8 and 11 year old! Why their website or personnel doesn't tell you this before hand is 100% ridiculous. Glad I'm a loyal hilton honors member for 11 years that reaches gold or diamond every year to be fooled like this.
Wrote that review shortly after check-inand now I am editing it with this, I must say other than the disappointment of not knowing about the pool, the staff is excellent on making it right. The location is perfect.

Just got home . Overall place was clean very central to everything beach beautiful. Drinks horrible at outside bars including pool bar. Breakfast buffet not worth the money at all. Stay away 60 bucks for two terrible!

We stayed here for a couple of nights recently and the location is pretty good, right on the beach and next to all the shops and restaurants. Our room happened to be on the street side and got very noisy even with the door closed. There seem to be maybe 5 rooms, probably their suites, that are fully oceanfront. If you get a room facing the pier it probably wouldn't be as bad bit the other 2 options are street side and Oceanside over a noisy rooftop with air conditioners which may not be too bad as long as you were high enough up and could look past that eyesore. The beds are small and not comfortable. The pillows have no form and seem like a 10 year old pillow with no filling. The pools seem great....if you could find a seat. There is clearly a sign that states no saving seats with towels and I would say half of them were being saved with no one sitting in them for an hour. We had to stalk people to see if they were getting up to get a seat. The pool bar service was very slow and we ended up walking away and not getting anything there was only 1 more person at the bar. The mandatory $25 a day valet parking is just stupid. The breakfast that was included for diamond members is a joke, toast, bagels and cereal. If you wanted anything hot it was an update. Ordered room service man who answered seemed to really hate his job and like he could care less. The man who brought it was nice and the food was decent. Overall this place is way overpriced and there are better spots here to stay for the same amount or less

I went to Clearwater Beach to spend the afternoon in the Sun and sand and parked at the Hilton Hotel. It cost $15 and was well worth the money. I think if we would have parked at the adjacent lot it would have cost just as much and we would have been limited to 5 hours of parking. At the Hilton you can Park there all day.

It is nice but for the price it's not the best. Rooms are all right, does have a pool, but if I did it again I'd book on the south side of the island as rooms dont have the best view unless you pay for the suit.

Awesome! They have a great hotel here. The view is wonderful. They have a kiddy pool that my 3.5 year old loved. It's only 3.5 ft deep and it goes up to a walk in style ramp so my little 18 month old could play, too. They have a resort fee that doesn't really cover anything i used. The seats all are additional charge for rentals. They do have movies for the kids at the pool. The valet, front desk, etc. All so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience.

The hotel is very clean, has spacious rooms and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very decent food options in the hotel, with verity of choices within walking distance. Amazing beach, nice playground nearby.

Somewhat disappointed. Paid $1100.00 for a 4 night stay. We expected 4 star accommodations. While many fixtures are newer, many are old and coming off of wall. See picture below for the view from our balcony. This is obviously an older hotel that s has been renovated. Not in line with most Hilton hotels we ve stayed at previously.

We came back to Hilton of Clearwater beach to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. We stayed from July 3rd - July 5th in room 916. Robert is a Diamond Hitlon member and the services we received throughout of stay were stellar. Our first night in the room we were sent a bottle of champagne by Alleyne, in guest services. This was such a wonderful surprise we were overjoyed. It continued to get better with the view we had from our room, the beautiful beach and view of the bay were awesome. We also ordered room service two nights for dinner we ordered the "catch of the day" which included lobster, crab, and shrimp one night and grouper and conch fritters the next night, both were better than 5 star restaurants we have been to.

Each morning when the host greeted us for the breakfast buffet, which the buffet was wonderful, she knew just where we wanted to sit and took us right by the windows each morning. It is little things like that that mean so much when you are staying at a hotel. The outstanding customer service continued with the staff at the front desk, ladies passing out the towels for the beach, and the beach chair company. We felt like royalty as the staff catered to our every need or want. In addition, we were there for the 4th of July and we saw so many different fire works from our room balcony we felt like we had front roll seats to the best show in town! We just wanted to thank you for making our anniversary so special. We hope to share many more anniversaries with you. Lisa and Robert

Requested a view of the fireworks side of the building for the 4th of July. Booked long in advance. Was placed on opposite side with wonderful view of AC units. When asked about room change, was told "oops, no rooms available. " When checking in at 4pm, gave the valet ticket to the desk clerk, who said they would retrieve my suitcase from the valet and send it right up. Meanwhile, waited in our room in wet bathing suits for over an hour, when I called the front desk, they said it was on the way. After 2 more hours, I went down to the valet stand myself and observed my suitcase and a backpack (on top of it) against the wall away from the valet area. When I told the valet, he said here take it and handed me the backpack, which was not mine! Completely disorganized and could care less attitude.

As a hilton honors member I am very disappointed. When I booked the hotel, I was told it was a gulf view room. I could see the gulf but, it was not towards the beach. All I saw and heard was construction. I was not told they were renovating the hotel. With a two month old and something special for my annerivary and mothers day. I wish i was told construction was going on. The tiki bar outside is nice, the pool area and staff is nice. Room service food was terrible and for the money it should have been way better. The location is great. Rooms are small and not updated. I would recommend other hotels since there are so many close by. Hopefully after all the construction things will get better.

Smallish rooms with an ocean view balcony, but nice pools, outdoor games and great beach access. Starbucks and restaurants onsite a plus. Enjoyed the spa as well as the fitness center. Hilton amenities like soft linens, robes, and bottled water appreciated. Best part is location, right on the beach, next to the pier and park and in the middle of shopping/restaurants.

Fun clean and in the middle of it all. The location is perfect the pool is beautiful and the staff is very accommodating. The property is a little dated looking on the out side but the inside is very nice.

The tiki hit on the beach is a great spot to get a drink but the hotel seemed kinda outdated and could use some renovation. The location is good, in walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Don't book a stay at this hotel. The first room I got was covered in mysterious stains. I found a still wet red stain on the back of a chair, vomit on the TV console, food on the floor, and more red stains on the walls. I let the front desk know and they switched me to a suite. The suite looked like it hadn't been vacuumed because there were piles of sand in the living room and the bathroom was dirty and smelly. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned and the grout in the bathroom was stained. I didn't find any mysterious stains though so I didn't say anything to the front desk. I asked for a late checkout the next day because my flight was late at night and they said I could stay an hour and a half later. However, I couldn't handle being in the dirty room anymore so I left early. Beware that they'll charge you almost $30 extra, regardless of which website you book this hotel on.

It was nice to have the beach chairs outside and the location was unbeatable. However, if you walk a little further down the beach there's a nicer hotel with beach access. The Hilton is extremely rundown and dirty. The food at the restaurant wasn't good. The only upside, besides the location, was that the staff was very nice. This isn't enough to make up for the negative aspects I mentioned above.

It was an alright experience, except for the soda machine wanted tea and it said tea but got a bottle of gator aid. They need to change the sign. Also 4.00 for a bottle water at the Tiki bar is a bit high. Don't you think?

This hotel has great customer service. Everyone is so happy and friendly. It is located right in the middle of town right next to restaurants and bars. Rooms are on the smaller side for price you pay. The pool and bars were great. Guess the extra costs in these rooms are because of location. Thanks for a great week!

I want to first start off by saying I have never written a review for any genre of hospitality services whether dining, entertainment or shelter but I felt compelled to come on here and create an account for the sole purpose of alarming potential tourists of this destination. I am a Hilton rewards member and stay at various Hilton's around the world for months at a time for work. Throughout all of my experiences prior to the one being reviewed I've typically had all expectations met/exceeded with the chain and usually preferred their services over the likes of Marriott and other options. This time was different, I had gifted my son a night at this hotel with his girlfriend for his college graduation using a "be my guest" complimentary certificate that I had. I booked though the Hilton rewards hotline, told them I would like to redeem the certificate and everything was handled smoothly. They told me to have my son show it upon checking in and everything would be set. The trouble began when he attempted to check in. After handing over the certificate and the requested forms of identification, he was then asked for a credit card which he had assumed was for the potential charge of incidentals. After asking, he was told the card was actually needed to charge the $260 a night fee. He explained that the certificate he had just handed them was to be used for that night. After that they read over the certificate and also read through the file on the computer to find notes from the booking agent that the certificate was to be used. They promptly apologized and corrected the mistake redeeming the certificate he had handed over...so he'd thought. After enjoying the beach that day and night, the time had arrived to check out the following morning. My son thought something was weird when he didn't find a receipt/bill under the door but continued the checkout process. The next day he noticed on his credit card bill that he had been charged in full for the room. This is where the disgusting lack of customer service and management rears it's head. He gave the branch a call and after getting bounced around he finally spoke to someone named Monica who showed zero empathy and told him there was nothing that could be done, he'd have to pay. Dumbfounded by her response, he couldn't believe that they would keep the certificate and refuse to honor it, conning their way into forcibly charging him for the room. He demanded to speak with someone else and was passed onto Stacey C. the guest relations manager. She had told him that she would review the account, investigate the scenario and give him a call back. As three days went by without hearing back from Ms. Stacey he attempted to call her back FOUR days in a row leaving messages the first three times and the fourth being told by a front desk agent that Ms. Stacey was was right there near the desk and that she would get her to the phone but then came back to the phone with a message from Ms. Stacey that she would call him back in just a few minutes...but as one could assume she never did. This utter lack of respect on not even a client level but a personal level should never be tolerated, As I look at how long this post is and the time I've had to take it to type it I only become more frustrated at how this has manifested. Stacey has single handedly pushed my family towards the Marriott chains with her horrendous excuse of "service." Maybe this review will finally illicit a response from the branch.
