DIrty and they steal. I have never written a review anywhere, but this was by far the worst hotel experience. I was staying here from Idaho. I was in town for medical IV treament. I told them before I went in the room I needed it to be clean because I was going to have a picc line. We checked in and it wasn't just dirty, but dirtier than any other hotel room Ive stayed in. There was visible loose dirt and Debra on the floor that hadn't been vacuumed, Trash in corners, the toilet was dirty, For 206 a night, this felt like 70.00 room. Ive had cleaner 70.00 rooms. I called the front desk, they adjusted my rate to 149 for the night, with the terms that housekeeping clean the room again. They cleaned again, and we couldn't even tell. This is when my mother started cleaning the room herself. The next day I found out instead of a 2 week stay for my medical ivs that I was going to need to stay for 2 months. So after my procedure we collected our stuff and checked out. We went straight to our new place, and I started going through my suitcase. My 4 pairs of shorts were gone as well as my leggings. All i had was dresses and one pair of jeans and a few shirts in my bag. I called the hotel to tell them I accidentally left them in the drawer of the dresser in the room. Now this room had been blocked out in my name because we weren't sure of the extent of our stay and they forgot to unblock it, so no other guests had been in my room. They said housekeeping would call me if they found anything.Thinking they would be honest i waited 24-48 hours. No call. I went into the hotel personally and asked if I could go up and look. They wouldn't let me go up there. They called housekeeping and they didn't have them, so instead of letting me go up there, they sent security. Security did not find them. They said they would search housekeeping for themselves. I had to get to my iv treatment and had to leave and trust they would call me. No call. I called and went in the next day. The security detail had me fill out a report and they were going to "question" the housekeepers that cleaned the room. Sent the report up to the main people. Security's exact words were if no one was in the room, it's obvious what happened, i totally agreed because that is what I said to him when I first met with him. He said, getting the house keeper to admit it was slim to none. Finally the lady the report was sent to, her reason for not handling it was, if the housekeeper left it on the cart while taking care of other rooms a guest could have taken them. She said that what i was claiming was an allegation. She said they don't have issues with stuff being stolen.. that's because they don't take responsibility, so its never recorded!!
FACTS:
- I put my shorts in the drawer
-we left around 5pm
- i called within 8-12 hours of leaving them in the drawer
- No other guests were in the room
-my clothes are gone
-no one has seen them but they are not in the drawer.
-make your own conclusion.
SO my question is for her excuse, the housekeeper just magically cant remember taking them but somehow she never saw them and they ended up on a cart that someone else saw and took? I mean come on. I am super underweight from being sick and its incredibly hard to find shorts that fit me. I don't feel well enough to go shopping for new shorts that will fit me, to replace shorts that took me 5 years to collect. They said and made very clear they will take no responsibility for anything stollen from housekeepers. If you stay here, do no let the housekeepers in your room. If you do, they will not do ANYTHING if you stuff goes missing. Unless you take it to the front desk and say please watch this they will take no responsibility. So they wanted me to take my clothes down there for storage every time????? I have never dealt with such a ridiculous hotel. She kept telling me, please understand, we don't take responsibility for lost and found. -It wasn't lost. It was stolen. "Your team cant be good, if you have a bad coach" their management at the top is the problem
