Buying my car was not bad, even though it took so long the sales rep actually offered to buy our supper. I bought a used car and have a 3 month/3000 mile warranty. I called the sales rep as I had a question but could not get a return call. Finally a supervisor returned my call and gave me an 800 number. I called it and the person there was very nice but I still had a question for the sales rep, Chris Robinson. I have called for 3 days in a row and left a message with no return call. Thinking he must be on vacation as he will not return my call I checked each time I called and was told he is here and was patched through. When I bought this car I told him I needed a dependable car as I am now divorced and have a special needs child that has doctors appointments in Charleston, SC. He said he had personal knowledge of this car and would put his wife or sister in this vehicle. The check engine light came on after only 40 days. After buying I wished I had bought the Odyssey van. I spoke with my son about selling his car and buying my car and I was going to buy an Odyssey. Would have gone straight back to Hendrick, but not now!! When you are not important enough for 1 return phone over a 3 day period I am done with Hendrick. DON'T BUY HERE OR AT LEAST NOT FROM CHRIS ROBINSON!
I was here and got a car Tanner was the best car salesman I ever met but I will not get a car from this place or recommend anyone to I traded in my Hyundai for a 2019 Honda Civic which the car was ok but it took them three weeks to call me back and say the deal didn t go through mind you my car I traded in has a past due balance for my car payment now because no one sent the payoff check to my lender and I turned my tags in as well only to be back in my current vehicle I traded in with a late car payment and no tags now thanks a lot Hendrick now I m behind and they are not willing to help or meet me halfway bad business.

I was recently involved in an accident, that totaled my vehicle, and although, I reside in Dallas, Texas, there was no doubt in my mind of who I would call for a replacement vehicle. I purchased a vehicle from Hendrick Honda three years ago, and I cannot stop talking about the experience I had with my Sales Consultant and that of purchasing a vehicle. Ronnie greeted me with enthusiasm and asked all the right questions to understand my needs of purchasing a vehicle. What stood out about him, is that he listened as much as he talked. My friend, Karina, who came with me, was so overwhelmed by Ronnie's professionalism, that she purchased a brand new vehicle that day as well! Obviously Hendrick Honda pays close attention to Google reviews so I hate to leave a bad one, but it's the truth. My wife and I went to look at the new 2018 Odyssey. Salesman was nice enough. Anyway, we found exactly what we wanted and were ready to cut the check right then. Now comes the fun part.
MSRP for the van was roughly $38,300. Dealer fees were roughly $650. Then there was this mysterious "Nitrogen and Lock" fee of $500, which I repeatedly asked about until the salesman finally admitted it was straight profit. The grand deal the finance manager cut for me? $600 off - didn't even cover the arbitrary dealer fees. All in price for this Odyssey was well over $40,000. I politely declined.
They also offered us $7,500 for my wife's current car, which has a KBB trade-in of $11,000 and is sitting on dealer lots at $14-15k. Bizarre.
Since there are a million Honda dealerships in NC/SC, my wife started looking other places and found the same van at Morganton Honda for $35,207. Yes, $3k less than MSRP. And their dealer fees? $499. That mysterious "Nitrogen and Lock" fee? They'd never heard of it. All in cost - $36,366.
Maybe Hendrick Honda is great. I don't know. It wasn't great for us.

I need to give an update as my lease was up and it was time to get another CR-V. This time it was a 2017 and it is awesome. Bennie Schadrac was awesome. This was my first day visiting Charlotte and I wanted to get a Honda Dealership familiar with servicing my car in the area. Went for an oil change just for them not to reassemble my car correctly. Called to speak to management and was rudely disconnected. Would not share their names. Erin was the rude representative that would not allow me to be transferred to the service management. She kept insisting to call my service advisor and if she doesn t answer wait for a call back. I directly asked her to speak to a manager and denied it then hung up. When I finally was transferred to the service manager after calling and getting hung up on multiple times, he suggest I find a dealership in an area I had no intentions of traveling to. Not to mention I had to drive to GA with this malfunction. On the bright side they covered the damage for another Honda dealership to replace. It was very inconvenient and unprofessional. It should have been done right the first time especially after waiting almost 2 hours. Definitely will not be returning. Rebecca was a really great advisor.

He was very informative, honest, and patient with the car buying process. He even came in to the dealership on his off time to get me taken care of!!
I usually just give stars, but in this case, I felt I had to go verbal. I have never purchased a used car and if I had known that I would get the Hendrick Honda treatment, I'd have done it long ago.
I'm glad I didn't let the rain stop me that day. Michael greeted me warmly, asked what I wanted, and showed me what I had my eye on but let me decide without being pushy. We bought a 2010 Odyssey and the buying experience was great. Our salesman Tony Howsare showed us everything you would want to know about the vehicle and it's features and also explained to us about the warranties that come with a certified vehicle. We purchased a used car from Hendrick Honda last week, and could not have been happier with the transaction. The car was ready for delivery when scheduled. The car had their multi-point inspection by their service department and all issues were taken care of, including 2 new tires. We received the dealer certification and purchased an extended service plan that gives us the peace of mind that we have always had with a new car purchase. Our finance director, Criss, did a fabulous job of explaining everything to us and answering all questions. She got us very good financing with a good interest rate. While there, we also met the Director of Retail Sales, Shane Bowles, who was very nice to us, and made us feel like a part of the Hendrick family. Very nice salespeople, Troy was great, and I did not feel pressured to buy. When I did decide on a car they were upfront about the total cost including fees etc, and negotiated using the total price rather than the old trick of talking in terms of monthly payment, or extending the length of a loan to make the amount seem lower than it actually is. Great experience overall.

I was assisted by Stewart Abbott in sales when I was looking for a Civic Sport. He was very professional over the phone and after visiting two other dealerships, he was the most straightforward. Communication was terrific and I decided to purchase the vehicle over the phone. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was sitting outside with a big bow on top. No games, the price was what was quoted on the phone. Helping with the sale was Jay Levin. Jay took us for the test drive and went over all the features. Great service experience. Jeffrey Smith was my Customer Service Tech and he did any outstanding job. He was very courteous and thorough in greeting me and taking my personal information and car information. My 2003 Honda Pilot needed a routine oil change and I had an Air Bag Recall letter to deal with. Unfortunately, the necessary parts for the Air Bag weren't in stock, but Jeffrey has ordered that switch and said he would call me in about two weeks to complete that service.
The Customer Waiting Facility was very neat and clean, and all personnel were very courteous and helpful. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and a bag of popcorn (nice treat), and my car was ready in less than hour. The Service Inspection showed No Problems that need to be dealt with -- very important to know that Honda Trained personnel gave my car with a 127,000 miles a thorough review.
Also, I appreciate the Online Coupons to reduce the cost of service. As a retired person, cost is very important, and getting a good price and great service was a bonus.

I was on the way to purchase a car from another dealer when I saw a car I liked in the lot and stopped to ask about it. The salesman that helped me (Bennie Schadrac) had the car ready for a test drive in minutes and ultimately put together a deal with the Sales Manager that exceeded my expectations in every way. The Business Manager (Dan Marsh) then put together a financing package much better than I thought possible. I will absolutely buy my next car from Hendrick and ask for Bennie when I do.
I went to another Honda dealership before but never found the issue with my car. I made an appointment with Hendrick Honda, told Clarissa what I thought my car issue was and gave them the keys. She confirmed the issue and I was able to get it fixed the same day! I'm very happy with my experience. While I had to wait a few hours for repairs, I sat comfortably in the waiting area with the popcorn and bottled water Hendrick offered.

I would like to say I did overall have a great experience. I had originally taken my car else where and I had to bring it here for them to fix. Rebecca was so nice and helpful. I feel she went above and beyond to make sure everything got taken care of in a timely manner. She would call me with updates and even got in touch with me the day after completing the work to make sure everything was still working correctly. I took our 2011 Honda CRV for an oil change and tire rotation. They did that and charged me for it. Then they told me I need four new tires. AFTER charging me for rotating the tires, they let me know that it was unnecessary because I need to buy four tires. When the service manager e-mailed me asking how everything went, I replied and told him. I have had absolutely no response from him. I definitely feel that they ripped me off for performing unnecessary work. I was waiting in the shop. They should have told me it was time for four new tires before rotating my old ones.
Very helpful once I was able to talk to a manager. Management fixed my issue right away and even lend me a rental while my vehicle was being fix. Great place to conduct a vehicle purchase
