Prior to August 6 2015 I had always been a Nissan driver. I had always been treated well and didn't think that there could be anything better; until I walked into Hendrick BMW and met Brian P Barry, Jhoda Edquist, and Carlos Fuller. This team of
professionals were friendly, and knowledgeable. I was comfortable in knowing that by the end of the day I would have the very car that I wanted. They sincerely welcomed me into the BMW family. It was a car buying experience like no other. It was fun getting to know each of these individuals as they worked in their different capacities at the dealership. I will happily tell all about my new family at Hendrick BMW. I left smiling, happy, and satisfied. I sincerely thank you for the experience and look forward to a long term relationship with Hendrick BMW

Customer No Service.....Never again.

Customer No Service.....Never again.
So I visit this really great looking new BMW nearby in South Austin, Texas.
I take my old E46 for some minor repairs. They give me a new loaner car..that's great.
However... This Service Department sucks.
The people inside are friendly and all..but no way in heck I take my car there again.
First, I ask them to check the trans and diff fluids..They text me back a couple days that that they don't do this service here. Strike 1...Why didnt you tell me this when I brought it?
That's the main reason I took it there. Instead, they did replace the recalled airbag.
Ok. They didn't bother checking for a slight noise I was asking them to help find. Instead, I get this excuse that since it's not a factory suspension, they can't work on that. Ok, my ride has some serious miles on it, but it has Sachs and Bilstein shocks (Which is OEM BMW).
Yes it does have 1 inch lowering springs on it ..so what.
They could have tracked the noise down and pointed out the issue and charged me for labor hours. I would be fine with that, and consider a resolution on my own ..or not ever worry about the small creek it gives off pulling in and out of the driveway. They really didn't do much else than the correct alignment and the recall airbag, and a multipoint inspection.
Here's the kicker though. As I was driving off, I noticed the car shaking bad at idle and pulled the car back in. I also noticed a code SES light come up. The Shop Manager refused to have the car put on the EKG without charing me.
UM OK. AutoZone and the other dealers nearby will do this for free.
So, I get to leave the BMW shop with the hazards on and run the BMW to Toyota across the street. Yes, AN Toyota.
AN reads the code for me and see the #2 cyl misfiring.
They replace the spark plug wire and send me on my happy way.
You would think a BMW shop could fix a BMW car? Or at least read a silly code at no charge? Instead the TOP DOG Manager named "Enzo" has to give me a story about feeding his Tech's? But no, AutoNation will my ride without hassle reading codes.. SO, I spent $62 dollars for the part and labor. My next BMW will be purchased at Monumentuem in Houston. Screw Hendrick.

Car buying can be a nerve wracking experience. Sales people can be real, for the lack of a better term, jerks. However, I spoke with the sales team at Handrick BMW a couple of times before making a purchasing decision. They truly wanted to make sure I am happy with the car as well as the deal.
Once that got ironed out, I was amazed at the level of hands on service that followed. The tech team is helpful and ready to assist with any questions. The service team is prompt and very proactive. The service area is comfortable and accommodating.
It truly encapsulates the experience of owning the ultimate driving machine.

I have owned plenty of cars and had both good and bad experiences. Hendrick BMW was by far the best I have seen. I had such a wonderful experience of buying my new car, and I am proud to refer people to Hendrick BMW ( been to a few other Hendrick Dealerships not so great). I had Donte. as my salesman and he was great. He was nice, very concerned about my needs as a customer. He listened to what I had to say and then customized his time and availability. I found my perfect match and I will be returning for sure. I highly recommend him and if you want someone who will not only try to persuade you to purchase, but let you know why certain cars will benefit you more than others, he is the right guy.

I came in for an oil change, and the greeting I received was very professional and friendly, I was also asked if I wanted my vehicle washed after the service was completed and I replied yes.. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting for my oil change the representative came to let me know that my car was ready and parked outside for me to pick up. He also said, we could not wash your truck because the window on the passenger side would not raise back up.

I was a little curious about this because the only service I requested it was an oil change and there was no reason for my windows to be let down. When I asked him did they raise the window back up because it was off-track he said no and I told him this was unacceptable due to the fact there was no reason my window should have been raise down to begin with.

At this the representative said he had to speak with the service manager and he came back 20 minutes later saying that the window had been raised up but they could not wash my truck because the bumper or other items on my truck might come off, which was extremely strange at this point. So I left a very unsatisfied customer.

Well I have to say that I have bought a lot of cars in my life and Frank King has been the best sales person I have had the pleasure to deal with. I have been a BMW owner since December 2006 and purchased both of my pre-owned cars from the BMW dealership on Independence Blvd. I had the good fortune of being assigned the best service advisor a BMW owner could ask for: Mr. Saad Mubarak. I can state unequivocally that from day one, it was apparent that Saad always had my best interests at heart when making recommendations about maintaining my vehicles. He has always treated me with the utmost respect and by following his maintenance suggestions, my cars are in excellent health! Saad is a wonderful ambassador not only for the service department but for the dealership as well.

Main complaint is that I received no updates from service dept on status of repairs, what they were finding, or when car would be ready.

Also, upon arrival, despite arriving early and being the first in the service lane, I was assigned to a service rep who was somehow otherwise occupied and waited for 15 minutes, when there were about 12 other reps sitting in their offices and apparently available.

And lastly, I am not confident that the engine issue is even corrected.

If not under warranty, would absolutely not return.

After warranty expiration, tail indicator bulb broke. For right side they charged 65 bucks plus wasted 2 hours in the shop... When left side broken, one guy just replaced in seconds and car was not even taken back to workshop... Now right is broken again within a year. People could be inconsistent with the way to handle customer or problems... But why wait for 2 hours for a bulb change...

Getting into our first BMW was an even better experience with Travis Flowers. He really took the time to take care and address our needs. It was hard enough to find one with a manual transmission but he made sure that we got what we were looking for. We really appreciate Travis and Graeme Bosch for taking a step further to make the numbers work. Thanks again guys!!

Michael Dickerson just helped us take the new 2019 Z4 for a road test. Michael explained all the latest technology and cabin comfort features. The Z4 now comes with a rear backup camera, lane departure warning, and proximity alert sensors. Awesome power for a twin turbo 4 cylinder with excellent responsive handling and breaking. Not a bad experience, however, I felt that there was more to be desired. I am giving the team that helped me the benefit of the doubt in all categories as I ultimately made the purchase and they made it happen. My criticism comes from my initial inquires not ever really being addressed along with the very minimal engagement early on in the ' I am interested in your listing' stage. I felt as though perhaps my interest was not taken seriously and as a result my list of questions was never really answered to the specificity that I would have liked. It was only because I really wanted the vehicle that I overlooked a lot of what could be observed as slights. The process can be summarized as having gone from cold to hot with no in between. The vehicle was 'as is' and the attitude was either buy it or not. The price was a fair market price and the lack of negotiation was understandable, though may rub some the wrong way. Once I made the commitment, then it was just getting the necessary steps done. Had the vehicle not been spec'd to nearly exactly what I was seeking, I would have likely continued my search elsewhere; the vehicle sold itself. In the end, I received delivery of the vehicle and after a week of ownership seems to be as great as advertised. I have received numerous compliments and have yet to see another version that turns as many heads . Thanks.

I am a little disappointed in the service provided by this dealership. I am a BMW employee and am very familiar with the level of service expected by our customers. I was greeted warmly and surrendered my car to the rep for its 1st oil change. I was told to have a seat in the lounge and a rep would be right with me. An hour and 10 mins later, I decided to look for him. It took another 35 mins for me to get my car, even with declining the car wash, and seeing it parked in the pickup area for 15 mins. I know we're better than that!

We have bought BMW X5 from Hendricks BMW at Charlotte Indepedence Blvd. Sales man Crish Rose make our process so easy and we make our decision in 30 min to buy car.He provide all the details about the car and make negotiation very easy and offer best price for the car which ,we don't get anywhere in town after spend 2 to 3 hrs in dealership. Huge props to Hendricks BMW and my salesman Chris Rose. As a woman buying a car by myself, Chris and the whole dealership made me feel comfortable. I ve shopped a number of dealerships in the past that either do not take my seriously (as Julia Roberts said in Pretty Woman, Big Mistake. Huge! ) or gave me the feeling that they were too pushy and likely trying to take advantage of me. Chris was flexible when I went from almost purchasing a used car to deciding to buy the brand new one. Chris helped me get that car that I have only dreamt about until I drove it off the lot. My experience with the service department this week was excellent. Even though I hadn't originally asked for a loaner for the afternoon while my car was being serviced, my advisor, John-Paul quickly found me one. While I was out running errands, the technicians replaced the part in exactly the amount of time they had estimated. Everything about my visit was seamless and as promised.

Bought my car from a dealer in Charlotte, NC and I live in Texas. They handled everything for me: financing, state registration, taxes, etc... Put it on a truck and shipped it to me. First time buying a car sight unseen and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Both finance and salesperson were in constant communication with me. Overall, a really good experience.

Now, I wish I could say the same thing for the Hendrick dealership in South Austin. My experience there was terrible... Luckily, the dealership in NC was so good, that I'll give Hendrick the 5-star rating.

As a previous Cadillac owner, I really wanted to give Hendrick BMW a chance. First, my car (X6) always always (yes I meant to say it twice) stay in the shop. It s always a recall or something mechanical going on. Anyway, about a month ago I took my car in for a routine oil change. I picked my car up on a Saturday. On Monday, When I arrived to my office to retrieve my very nice and expensive work bag from the trunk it was missing. I contacted BMW at least 8-10 times with the promise that someone would call back. Of course no one ever did. I then called the police to press charges of theft against BMW! BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION AND NEVER LEAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN THE CAR! They are THIEVES!!!

I visited the service center to have an oil change and found everyone anxious to serve me.

Although I was only there for an oil change, I found a tire specialist checking my tires. Good thing he did because he identified a nail stuck in my tire.

I was assisted by Jesse Walsh. He tried to ensure my comfort while waiting and provided me a loaner (due to COVID-19). When I returned, he had my car ready and waiting up front. My car had been cleaned but unfortunately, it rained. Doesn t that always seem to be the case?!

Worked with Mark at the Hendrick BMW showroom on Independence Blvd and he was excellent to work with. Very knowledgeable regarding the cars they had in stock at that location as well as their other locations around the city. He was patient and listened intently to my desires as well as concerns and put me in the vehicle I desired.

The finance process was smooth and timely and the staff from Mark, to the finance manager, to the lady who went over the cars features and functionality was very professional and courteous.

I had been away from the BMW brand for almost 10 years. I;m glad i returned.

Today, April 2, 2016, Hilee was helping us when we were trying to buy a used BMW 535i but we could not see eye to eye on the price. When we decided to leave, him and the manager held our keys hostage and would not let us leave. They said the appraiser had them and that I needed to speak with the manager. I didn't agree and had to physically search for my key to my car so that my wife and I could leave.

Quite possibly the WORST experience ever with a dealer. 0 STARS. Two words to describe them: UNSCRUPULOUS and UNTRUSTWORTHY. I am not one to write a negative review but this experience compelled me to let you know to avoid this dealership at all costs.

Contacted Hendrick BMW of Charlotte about a certified 430i convertible the day it was listed (9/17). Chris Thomas who works sales let me know I was the first to contact them about this vehicle, confirmed its availability (physically on premise) and took down my personal info. After speaking about potential financing options and my ability to pay in cash, I went on hold and he let me know that there was a "system issue" in which the car would need to get re-inspected and he would call me back in two days. At this time, I was ready to put down a deposit to secure this sale but he said I should not worry and he'd be in contact shortly. The next day, I call him to check in and leave a voicemail, but no return call. I receive a separate email two days later saying their entire system is down and he is working on numbers (it really takes two days to work on a pre-set template of amortized numbers?). I notice that the car is delisted now (48 hrs since my initial inquiry). He responds to a separate email saying he had no idea that the car was in fact sold. No apologies, no follow up. I had to actively follow up for something he should be trained to do.

Very surprised about the high ratings for this shady dealership. Have spoken to my friends in the market for new cars and have told them to avoid this place as well. SUPER DISHONEST AND A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

The Hendrick organization lives up to their standard of excellence in everything they do. I worked with Marlon on a new X3. He was very attentive, patient, and had a great sense of humor! He went above and beyond to ensure I found a vehicle that would work for me. Mark in finance was pleasant and explained everything in detail. Because the exact car was not physically at this dealership, they delivered it to me the next day to ensure I wasn t inconvenienced.

Traded my 2013 BMW X1 on a new 2020 X3. Got bids from dealers in Columbia, SC and Greenville, SC as well as Hendricks. Hendricks was by far the most responsive, best communicators and quickest to respond. The staff was great, Brandan Holland and Josh Wilson were a pleasure to work with. They gave me a great offer and were easy to work with. I bought 16 BMW s in Columbia, SC but never again because Hendrick follow up was great and they appreciated my business.

In searching the dealer's website for new inventory, I was able to find a vehicle on their lot that met the specs of what I was looking for. I submitted an offer through their website and within minutes I was contacted by the dealership. I worked with Jordan DeVore and can't say enough good things about the experience. Jordan was not only professional, courteous and knowledgeable about his product, but he was very straightforward in working to reach a deal. No games, No pressure and No wasting each other's time. Within a few minutes we were able to reach an agreement on the purchase price as well as a reasonable offer on my trade in. Done deal and absolutely painless. Incidentally, when I went to the dealership to take delivery on my vehicle, Jordan had several other customers that he had sold vehicles to who were there to take delivery as well so he must be doing something right. If you're in the market for a BMW, I would strongly recommend working with Jordan DeVore at Hendrick BMW Charlotte! I can't yet speak to their service department...

Eric is the worst customer service/tech they have. Everyone I have talked to is very disrespectful. It has been the worst experience dealing with them when they actually answer the phone or call you back if they ever do. I will never be back here again.
