Just wanted to say that I am one that don't like to be harassed and I didn't get that here with Randy Woods. He was very polite, answered all my questions and made it so easy for us to purchase the toyota highlander without the stress, aggravation you normally receive. I will be back to have Randy work with me in the future.

I purchased a CPO vehicle from Mariana, Marcos, Holly, and the rest of the McKenney gang back in October. Everything about the experience was excellent - from the initial test drive, all the way to Mariana and Marcos personally delivering the vehicle to me near my place of work. I would recommend McKenney Chevrolet to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle as their inventory and professionalism are tough to beat.

I made 2 trips here trying to figure out what was causing the noise in my Cadillac ATS. First time, I was told it was the belt and they had temporarily fixed it. Less than a mile down the road, same noise. Next time I went in was told it was the belt and tensenors, a $300 dollar fix. They "ordered" the belt and I was supposed to bring it back in the next week. But the next week my husband decided to change the belt himself. ($20 belt at advance and less than 10 minutes) After changing the belt (the belt was NOT bad) still heard same noise. Husband climbed under the car and diagnosed the problem. Not a belt at all....it was an exhaust problem and was fixed at randys muffler within minutes. Will not go back to mckenney for anything, not even an oil change! Very disappointed in the tech!

Had my used car inspected here before purchase. I was advised it was "a good little runner with an insignificant oil pan gasket leak". Paid for an hour labor for my inspection and now it's torn apart having a cylinder head replaced locally. The suspension makes noise and the car has trouble at idle up to about 2k rpm. Mechanic says it was leaking from the head gasket, needs a timing chain, and there is damage to the camshaft. I wanted them to do some work on the minor leak they did note but the service adviser wouldn't quote it to me and now I know why.

We bought a Prius from them few months ago. After we purchased the car, we gave our car for 25,000 miles at the Toyota, we found all the tires had to be replaced. This was just 3 weeks after we bought the car. I spoke to the used car sales manager, he said they cannot go by what Toyota says and he reluctantly agreed to bring the car and have his auto people looked at it. Their so called tire expert looked at the tire and stated the tires are fine.

We ended up replacing all 4 tires and paid 640 just after buying car from them a month before. Also we were sold a car protection for over 2000 dollars to get the low auto rate. I went in person and signed the form to have it cancelled, after a month I found out they still did not cancel and was told the lady was on vacation. No apologies was offered, I was just informed it would be backdated.

I wanted to buy a truck I found on their website so I called and spoke with K.H. and arranged to have a test drive. I even called her back to confirm vehicle and payment options. After driving almost an hour to their lot I was shown a different vehicle with the wrong configuration. They didn't have a single truck with the motor and drive-train I specifically told her I was interested in.
This was a total waste of my time and I was very disappointed.

The worst experience I have had with a service department . They will never get my business or my families . They charged me $135 for a misdiagnosed crank sensor which they said they would not charged me an $30 to charge my battery which died while trying to start who does that auto zone will charge it free any battery

March 20, 2015 let me start by saying that I have been searching for a Toyota Tacoma for almost a year. I saw a Tacoma listed on Auto Trader that showed McKenney Chevrolet had one and decided to look at it. My wife and I drove from Concord N.C. to look at a 2005 Toyota Tacoma that was for sale in the lot. We arrived at the lower used car lot area of dealership, where it was almost impossible for anyone/salesperson to see us. We were eventually met by Kenneth Schultz who took the time to walk down to us to show the truck. After going on a test drive I knew this was the truck for us, unfortunately it was way over our budget. During the negotiation process other customers arrived at the dealership to look at the truck. I was pleased with Kenneth not being distracted by the other potential buyer and continued to work with us to make the sale. Kenneth made sure to work with us and eventually we were given a great deal. It is my opinion that Kenneth could have stopped negotiations with us or even began a bidding war with the other potential buyers to get more money and a bigger commission, but instead Kenneth remained professional giving us his undivided attention and continued to attempt to make the sale with us. Kenneth demonstrated great customer service skills and showed that it wasn't about the commission, it was about customer satisfaction. Thanks to Kenneth we were able to purchase my dream truck. Great job guys!

Our 2011 Buick Enclave was experiencing unexplaine...

Our 2011 Buick Enclave was experiencing unexplained vibration at various speeds for no reason. We learned from our dealer, McKenney Chevrolet, it was likely the torque converter (which is not cheap to replace!). McKenney worked with us to schedule a time for the repair during an offer period with our credit card company of no interest for 6 months and then provided a free car for use during the 2 days of repair. They also discovered the engine frame was broken and completely replaced it at no additional labor costs with the overall charge still not exceeding the original quote. We have always been treated honestly and fairly and professionally and truly value our relationship with McKenney Chevrolet, and especially the Service Department, staff and mechanics. Thank you!!!!

No one came out to speak to us, not to even to just give us a card or anything. Yes it was in the 7:30 hour but still come out to say hi and give us a card or something. So we went to the Nissan dealership and they were getting ready to close at 8 and it was 7:59 but the boy still came out to talk a minute and gave us a card. We know it was late and we weren't there to hold anyone up, we know it was time to close...but still...

Little late posting this, but... we were in late in the day on Cinco de Mayo to look at a truck. Tay Grice helped answer questions and let us test drive a couple of trucks before we left with a great Silverado Z71. Tay and the team stayed with us past closing that night and he and Barry Brown took phenomenal care of us. Long time customers and we'll definitely be back!

Service adviser was great, kept me updated throughout my visit. Only one thing I would suggest. Whoever pulls the vehicle from the service bay needs to be mindful that Corvettes are low to the ground thus don't pull the front end over the curb. He/she was very fortunate the front end cleared the curb, by less than an inch. Overall, was still a great experience!

Me and my wife found a 17 Equinox on CarGurus that we were interested in. We drove to McKenney Chevrolet from Wilkes county, NC and met up with our salesperson Dylon. The whole process was very hassle free and Dylon made sure we were taken care of. Even after we had an unfavorable experience with the dealership s detail shop, they still made everything right. This is a wonderful dealership with very friendly knowledgeable folks and we highly recommend anyone stopping by to see these fine people.

Long time customer. Every associate that's helped me is polite and professional. The service department has always done great work on my car and only suggests what's needed for my vehicle. Recently, my car was vandalized and I called McKenney for assistance. They suggested a nearby body shop that has restored the car to its off-the-lot appearance. Very happy with my 5+ years as a McKenney customer.

brought my car in for a 6 hour job... ended up being 3 days! they never called, we had to call them numerous times. got the car back. They ordered wrong parts and didn't order all of the parts needed. and its still having the SAME EXACT problems after putting out over $800!!!!!

Great dealership. We have bought almost 2 dozen vehicles from Mr. Mckenney over the years and he has always stood up to his word behind every vehicle new or used. Awesome dealership. How's that Sean? Can I have my Chevrolet jacket now? Just kidding. Really, you cant go wrong with Mckenney. Their sales staff will do everything possible to get you in a new ride that other dealerships wouldn't bother to take time with. They actually care. Give them a call and them Debbie Lynn told you to call she's wanting Sean to give her a Chevrolet jacket lol. First of the year is coming and they will be offering some fantastic deals hint hint.

Have been to this dealership 3 times in the past 6 years to buy a car....third time was enough....All 3 times intended on purchasing a car......but they cannot beat prices of other dealers, treat you like you don't exist when you walk in their showroom & then want to tell you where to test drive their car.....If you are buying it....I believe you should test where you want! Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Got a brand new 2015 camaro from this place. Loved...

Got a brand new 2015 camaro from this place. Loved it till this past year. My car is under 2 years old now, 50.000 miles, and I have had nothing but problems with my car. My car constantly in there service department, and i always get it back with another problem. I had a issue a few weeks back with a bad rattling noises coming from my dash. A man by the name of Tim in the front actually told me that there was nothing more that he could do to help me. I also had a bad oil leak, but no oil was to be found? So they ordered parts for my engine. When I asked Tim where the leak was coming from, and popped open my hood out side, his answer was "well I am not sure because we have not yet looked at the engine internally. We will do that when the part comes in". ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Ordering parts for a engine you have yet to look at? This place is ridiculous, and now I have a engine light on my dash.

David Horne, my service advisor of choice and Clif, the Service Manager are without question the best in the industry in my opinion. They keep me up to date on what my car needs well in advance so I'll know at what point what maintenance needs to be done. In all my years of driving and dealing with mechanics, McKenney Chevrolet service department has been nothing less than superior. I've had my 2014 Cruze for 1 year and 3 months and ha had zero issues with the vehicle and David Horne has ALWAYS answered any question I had about my car and makes sure I'm well informed about my vehicle. I'd be a fool not to recommend McKenney Chevrolet Service to anyone. They get things done quickly, get it right the first time ALWAYS, and more importantly, the pricing on maintenance is in line with the competition, so hands down, I'm sticking to these folks. I have always disliked the process of going to purchase a new car. It has always been a rather negative experience for me. 1) because it's a major purchase and a lot of money 2) because divulging personal financial information about yourself is not pleasant. 3) Car salesmen usually are not very honest.

Yesterday when I walked in to McKenny and Met Scott Braswell, my whole experience changed. for the first time in my life he made the experience of buying a new car pleasant. He was honest, funny, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He made me feel comfortable and at ease.

I think the dealership has a great salesmen in Scott. He does more than sell you a car, he sells you a long term relationship with the dealership.

In the future when purchasing a new car I will go straight to McKenny and look for Scott!!!!!!!

My salesman Brandon helped me get the used car I wanted and before I left we figured out my door handle wouldn t work and he made sure it was taken care of fixed. I requested a very specific vehicle which McKenney...

I requested a very specific vehicle which McKenney Chevrolet did not have available. As a matter of fact, very few dealerships had this vehicle because it is a 2014 model that has recently been shipped to a limited number of dealerships. This of course was not a problem for this dealership. Not only did they locate the exact vehicle I was looking for, they had it on the lot within 24 hours and ready for my inspection. Jace Stowe, Vice President and General Manager, made it very clear that I was under no obligation to purchase the vehicle. I arrived later that day, inspected the car and made an offer which was accepted within 5 minutes. I have purchased many new vehicles over the past 30 years and this car buying experience was by far the most pleasant. Absolutely no pressure, no intimidation and no hassle. The salesperson with whom I worked, Bill Starke and the General Manager, Matthew Surbeck were outstanding, professional and first class in their willingness to ensure my satisfaction. I would, without any hesitation whatsoever, recommend McKenney Chevrolet for your next car purchase.

We took our car here because it was making noise f...

We took our car here because it was making noise from our right rear tire, they checked it out and fixed it. There was a warranty on the vehicle but the service dept did not know about it so we were told it was not covered under warranty and paid out of pocket....I later found out that the repair would be covered under the extended warranty so Cliff at McKenney took care of everything so that we would be reimbursed for the charges. It is nice to know that there are still businesses that want to make sure you are a return customer. Thank you McKenney Chevrolet.

This is probably one of the worst experiences I ha...

This is probably one of the worst experiences I have every encountered !! My GPS has not been working and it was already established that it needed to be replaced. We purchased the extended warranty for electrical and it did not expire until Feb 2016.( the warranty stipulated that it be fixed at the place of purchase) Upon making the appointment it was explained that it would need to be done and that a loaner was required as it was more than a 2 hour repair.
Arriving at the dealership 30 minutes early for my appointment ( which was 1 and 1/2 hours from my house) I was promptly greeted and he was friendly, but I had to explain in detail again the problem with the car. He proceeded to tell me that he wasn't sure if the warranty would cover it and he did not have a loaner! He could offer me a ride back to my house, a loaner could only be given if the car was diagnosed for more than a 24 hour need of service, I was more than welcome to wait. I guess I could call a taxi to pick my children up from school once they figure out that it needed to stay for more than 24 hours! His concern was more than underwelming. I took my keys back and drove straight to another dealership and traded the car . Sorry, no rave review for my experience, only disappointment.

There was also a minor problem with at the DMV and the title. Bad repair service. Had to take my car here 2 times and the air conditioner still blow out warm to hot air. Was told I had to drive with my RPM over 200 in order to fell the air. Very disappointed.

Worst ever. Took my truck to get a recalled airbag fixed, when i left truck leaked out coolant, i got under the hood to find where it came from and found out that a hose clamp had been completely loosened. I called the dealership and they denied having anything to do with it. I will never go back to that dealership again with anything.

Great atmosphere. They let you know if there are additional issues that may cost you before going ahead. Service was excellent. My car felt smooth sailing after servicing. And it wasnt as expensive as I thought it was going to be compared to a non dealership mechanic.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because I was having a minor electrical issue with my alarm and since the technician whom handles those issues wasn't working that day, I have to now bring my car in another time AND pay my deductible AGAIN !! I will now be asking if every tech that's needed to work on my car is present the day I'm requesting service.

My sister and her husband just purchased a pre-owned Silverado from Dylan Allison. Everything was exceptional! From Seth Shackleford, the Sales Manager, to Barry Brown, the Finance Manager, everything was perfect. Their prices are extremely fair and their inventory is top notch. Several other salesmen were very courteous as well. Harold Varner and Scott Braswell went out of their way to make us feel right at home. No gimmicks with these guys.
