Subscription trap. UNFORTUNATELY! You have to be careful when selecting and testing, as the programs are not all functions or are limited in use. For example, the customer is "consciously" dragged over the table via asset accounting. This only later notices that the "integrated" system book allows only 5 systems for a "balance sheet".
With the Lexware program (unused) I am now around 400.00 EUR poorer because it has to run for 12 months.

I have been trying to reach support for about 4 hours. Always on hold for exactly half an hour. Then you will be kicked out. What is customer service? What do you pay for if the product cannot even activate or can continue to use it? Absolutely dubious and not recommendable. Stay away from such a software provider !!!!! Unfortunately I have to give a star so that this review is shown at all. Google suggestion: negative stars. These are more sustainable and more meaningful!

I now have more than a year of experience with Hau...

I now have more than a year of experience with Haufe Lexware "faktura + job". No other software annoyed me anymore. Although I had already asked for professional help for the setup, there were always problems. Even on a freshly installed Windows, you had to fumble in the depths of the operating system (registry) for the program to run properly. On my 4K monitor, parts of the writing can only be seen with a magnifying glass. The subscription management requires completely unnecessary clicks and waiting times for each individual (!) Invoice dispatch u. v. m.

But I am completely stunned by the arrogance of the support and the way of doing business. Basically I have no problem with the fact that the hotline is chargeable. However, if an error occurs after an update and after a long consultation the service employee finally recommends that the 0900 fees be reimbursed, then I do not understand why the employee responsible only offers me a partial reimbursement with the "argument , He couldn't decide more. As a matter of principle, my objections are not dealt with, instead they are stubbornly followed through. After I have finally made the requested partial payment for the sake of peace, I am still threatened with debt collection because I did not accept the partial refund offer in good time and of course now I also want "reminder fees". I find it sad how Haufe-Lexware deals with its customers. Mind you: I have a subscription and otherwise I always pay the support without hesitation.

Since I have better things to do, they get their money. But in my opinion, she really deserved the 1-star review.

Was good ...
I've been working with the tax software for ages and three days. This year was probably the last time I bought software from the company. The market is big.
I bought and installed Taxman 2020. Here is advertised with large letters "unlimited tax returns" ect. On the back at the bottom in font size 4 you will find the reference to the "single version". Whatever a single version is. I know a single seat, that means for me, it's just a license.
Thought wrong.
Bottom line - the laptop where I installed the program gave up. Since I had bought the program, I reinstalled it on the new PC.
Installation went, data backup too. Then a message window popped up

"Serial number blocked!
There are indications that the serial number for TAXMAN may have been misused.

The serial number is therefore temporarily blocked.

Please contact our technical support and have your serial number XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and proof of purchase ready. "

So folks - that just doesn't work! Even Microsoft unlocked my Office online after I assured that it would only run on one PC. And here ?? E-mail, no one responsible. Hotline, kicked out after 30 minutes.
This is also how you can generate sales.
I have to return to the tax data I have already entered!

I think the next tax return will no longer be sent by the Haufe Group.

PS. I just looked at the terms and conditions. Here you can find under point 9 "

COPYRIGHT / USE RIGHTS
9.1 ......... If the customer has purchased the TAXMAN and QuickSteuer products, the number of tax returns that can be created is limited. With TAXMAN five (5) tax returns can be created per installation. "

How does that go with the packaging imprint on my purchased goods?
"unlimited tax returns"?

The business practices are borderline for me!

As already written above - my laptop has given up the ghost. Response from support - which unfortunately could not be answered because the ticket was closed after the suspicion was sent:

"By purchasing our Taxman software, you are entitled to carry out a single-user installation in accordance with our license terms and conditions. Due to the multiple installation, you have violated your license. Your serial number has therefore been blocked.

As a goodwill gesture, however, we will provide you with a replacement serial number; this does not imply recognition of a legal obligation. Note that the software may only be installed on one computer, even with the new serial number! "

However, customer service is a disaster !!! It takes some weeks to get answers to emails. The word "service" is absolutely wrong here!

For several years we use Lexware accountants plus, so far we had no great problems. But now the whole program has crashed and unfortunately we can not help ourselves because the program does not react to anything.
So-called support numbers, which we must raussuchen from the Internet itself (according to switchboard of Haufe Verlag, it should be noted at this point, the helpfulness of the staff can confidently be referred to as underground) are occupied or you end up in an endless loop, at the End then also a busy character from the phone sounds.
Too bad that one is still treated in this day and age.

The service is underground: E-mails are answered sometimes, sometimes not - but that doesn't mean that they also answer the questions asked. The service simply hangs up on the phone, there is usually no one available in the chat, and you still have to email (and you're back on the start).

The Lexoffice product is reasonably usable, but not really a hit. Suggestions for improvement are pushed into the "collection of ideas", where they bump away for five years without anything happening.

It is surprising, by the way, that the good ratings have been going on for one to four years. Not all of them have identified themselves as Lexware employees, but the five-star ratings will probably all be employees. Just start XING and LinkedIn, compare and have fun. (Dear Lexware-Haufe employees: please use Kununu to pay homage to your employer. Thank you!)

And not quite on the subject: how does Lexware, as a manufacturer of accounting software, manage to debit the monthly fees without specifying the invoice number? That is * the * criterion par excellence for finding a liability in accounting. Her billing and payment service provider cannot do this - there is no way that she can hand over the invoice number, the lady said on the phone. Hello, a debit without an invoice number and I have to look for what it is for? It is not my problem if Lexware chooses an unsuitable service provider!

By the way: Haufe Group has almost 2,000 employees - many of them in Freiburg.

Unfortunately, I can actually not assign a star. If anyone deserved praise at all, it was the lady on the phone today - she recommended that we quit and canceled the invoice! We actually wanted to buy software from this company for our business. This could not be installed. After contacting the paid support number, nothing changed in the situation. Despite several written complaints, to which the nice answer always came: "Your concern is important to us - we will contact you immediately!", Nothing happened. Our concern has been ignored for some time now. The technician who was supposed to help us simply did not take the telephone and remote maintenance appointments. Service is definitely something else. The lady today was very nice and explained to us, however, that general service and support are not linked and that she cannot pass on my complaint directly ... but she will do so via her department management ... however - - we have canceled the subscription, the bill will not be paid and we decided on other products .... very bad.

I do not know how much lifetime your software team cost me for "financial office plus". But clearly TOO MUCH. I sometimes think that errors are extra built in to force the users into the expensive 0190 hotline. Yes, I'm ready to pay for your software - but please be more user-friendly and without the common mistakes. Coronation today: Even registering in lexware / my account fails. And that at a software company. NO. I am not satisfied.

In my opinion extremely questionable! We use billing & order since 2011 but have never commissioned an ABO or something active (although we have always accepted the annual updates, but not that we have here actively decided for an annual turn, here it is so it seems so just pulled into a program just because my updates have been done so far). Nevertheless, we put here a product / update in front of the nose which year after year is more expensive, in parts in question or for us not useful extensions, who needs that i. O. we certainly not. For us, the update makes no sense at present if we want to commission / buy this actively. 2016 Once again the CD etc. found in the mailbox. Since we do not need that is the whole thing in the bin disappeared, because not ordered! Now you argue in customer service you would have to send it back! So what I do not order I do not have to send back. It would be better if the customer asks if he needs the update and then to send the package Willigen, instead of pushing something on the eye! The service is also very brash and absolutely not accommodating, if you can say so, because as repeatedly written was nothing ordered, nothing actively ordered and not actively triggered a ABO. I find it very outrageous and for such a company a no go! Unfortunately, I have not had any good experiences. I wanted to change my contract to Annual Payment. Unfortunately, I was then a newly dated contract untergejubelt so that I even though I pay 3 months from now 1.10.19 for another year must pay. The program Lohn + Salary is very complicated and gave it directly to my accountant. So that the program does not use me at all, but I still have to pay more.
You can not get out of the contract. The customer advisors on the phone are very bossy and it seems to me as if someone is constantly complaining because they are already extremely resistant. I will never order anything there again and I feel really ripped off and ripped off.

The product Lexoffice in multi-user operation is unfortunately not recommended. As of January 2020, access rights management for individual users is absolutely in need of improvement. Thus, users with "basic functions" authorization (according to Lexware "Edit receipts, products and contacts; export data") have the option of accessing the "Receipts" tab and accessing all business transactions under "All receipts". Among other things, you can also see the pay slips of your colleagues (including boss) in detail !! It is also possible to export data at several points in the system, including colleagues' pay slips (e.g. under "Other exports", "Receipts (all receipts for archiving in PDF or original format"> "All receipts for expenses and expenditure reduction" In addition, it is possible to export customer and supplier data without being able to restrict this in any way according to the current status as administrator.

We have been using Haufe Lexware accountant software for many years. The software is not really user-friendly and is a bit awkward to use in many ways. Nevertheless, we have come to terms with it over the years. We deliberately bought the software because we avoid rental software as much as possible. For years now we have also bought an update every year. Since our tax consultant will take over the bookings with his software in the future, we have terminated the update contract. Now we had to learn that we can no longer use the software properly! This central change (rent instead of purchase) was only announced secretly through a change in the terms and conditions. Since we still have to make entries for the past year and would like to continue to use functions that may be blocked, we are very, very disappointed with the business practices of Haufe Lexware !! By the way: To give me information about this, the response from the service took a whopping over a month. This also says everything about their understanding of service !!

We have been loyal Lexware users for 20 years now....

We have been loyal Lexware users for 20 years now. However, with the latest updates and the switch to 16% VAT, Lexware has failed across the board.

The update did not take over our database properly. After the update, our data can no longer be accessed. A restore from a previously carried out data backup brings the same result. With the error message "An error occurred while copying the sample booking templates" (whatever that is ... this question could not even be answered by the support), the system administration can no longer be accessed.

We have been trying to get help via support since 09.09.2020. Apart from reinstalling the software, there was no constructive advice here either. The reinstallation led to the same error message and we still have no access to our data.

We have written to support several times in the last few weeks - the status remains "in progress". We do not receive a reply to our emails. Obviously Lexware is trying to sit out the problem.

Since we'll probably have to re-enter everything anyway, switching to Datev is becoming increasingly interesting.

It's a shame that Lexware leaves its customers out in the rain. We have huge data loss problems.

Amendment dated October 27, 2020
After 6 weeks we finally got support from the support. The data backup has been repaired and can now be used again. Accordingly, the rating can be changed from 1 to 3 stars.
