For the price it was minimal. Room was in a bad condition. Broken drawer in bathroom with old sock in it. However the room was quiet. Breakfast was very very busy, but the options were good.

Basic hotel...close by to JFK Airport...breakfast is included and they have a gym...they are also connected to the Hilton next door where you can go for lunch or dinner and also to the store there. Can be pricey though.

Cons:

Cons:
The heating system from the room was pretty loud and I could barely get some proper sleep. There's a place where hot air comes out and when it is on it makes a lot of noise.
For breakfast you had to use plastic dishes, forks, knives and cups.

Pros:
People were very helpful.
The room was clean.
The breakfast was good and enough for everyone.

The vote is due mostly to the attentive friendly staff. The structure is quite dated and with some extraordinary maintenance to perform for the rest is the classic hotel parking for one night waiting for the other flight position

This was not the plushest hotel i have ever been in, but the beds were comfortable, the staff friendly, everything was clesn. The water pressure was good (always important to me!).

We just stayed here because we couldn't catch a plane on home after returning from an international flight. I probably wouldn't recommend staying here for an extended time - it is convenient to the airport, but not much else.

We arrived too late to get food at the bar/grill, but pizza and Chinese are available for delivery.

This hotel came through in the clutch to accommodate my wife and I for an 11 hour overnight layover at JFK. The hotel is only a 5 minute shuttle ride to and from the terminal. Our room was very clean and cozy and I can't imagine a more convenient location to stay near JFK.

Room felt bland. I guess you get what you pay for. Still for $200 I'd think I'd get a room with a bit less dust. The amenities are okay. The included breakfast is nice. Walls are thin. I heard my neighbors talking about their travels all night. Not a good place to try and sleep if you got an important meeting in the morning.

Stayed 2 nights. One night I had a nice room, comfy bed, nice bathroom. The other I was in a different room and everything was the same, except the tub looked older, I wore shower shoes since I didn't feel like switching rooms by the time I noticed. The tub also didn't drain properly so water built up while showering. I told staff upon checkout and they apologized. I've stayed at this property before and never had this issue, and the staff is always friendly. I'm sure I could have switched rooms if I had asked. The restaurant at the connecting property is a little pricey. They have the option to order various foods to room service, but the staff seemed not very knowledgeable if it was prepared on site or delivered in, said it's a new service. They also had various restaurants take out menus available at the front desk to order delivery, I did and had delivered to the lobby. I'm not sure if those restaurants also deliver to the room. Overall, great hotel.

The customer service at this hotel is THE BEST!!! Everyone at the front desk is incredibly professional and friendly. Maria, Tina, Ivy, Renatta, Wanda, Zoe, & Jamilla are all fabulous! The Manager Imran is also amazing!!! I have have to spend a lot of nights here for work and they all truly make it feel like my second home and are always very welcoming when I arrive! To say they go above and beyond is an understatement and I always ask my company to book me here because of the great service!

Great location by the JFK airport. I was traveling back to the USA so I used the app too check-in selected the room numbers and I also used the digital room key via the Hilton app to access the room when I arrived late after 10pm.

A nice hotel to lay your head down and rest. The rooms are decent, updated and comfortable for the most part. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as i didn't even pay attention to complementary but after I thought about it the Hampton chain does that. I like that they have a good variety of breakfast options.
The only complaint is the uncomfortable, air and smell from outside.. it felt as if we were right near NY ocean water (which I know is close but oh goodness). However, that won't stop me from another overnight when traveling.

Staff was fantastic, extremely helpful. They were the best thing about this hotel. Stayed at many Hampton Inns and this one is tired and worn down. Newer, nicer Hamptons have full showers and no rust on the handicapped railing. Other Hamptons offer more towels and complimentary bath accessories like more than one soap.

Not all power oulets worked for charging. It was hard to keep the room cool. Airport noise was surprisingly minimal. Best part of the room was TV was huge.

Breakfast offerings were average. The nicest thing was seating included an atrium like area.

Parking is extremely tight and limited.

They allowed me to stay 7 hours beyond checkout time at no charge. The room was very clean and modern and very well taken care off, Although the carpets at the halls look very old. The beds also were very comfy. The people at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to anyone arriving to JFK.

All of the staff was amazing but one. The front desk staff named Delilah (one of the other employees gave me her name). Where do I begin. First at check in she made us feel so unwelcomed. She asked if we needed a crib our 5 month old. After politely declining and saying no, she gave us a look of disgust. Why? I have no idea. Fast forward to day 2 (4 night stay). Our toilet overflowed around 2 am waking us and the baby up. Staff was so amazing sending someone right away to help and even put a 9am time in for the cleaning service to come clean up the next day. Problem fixed? Nope! Cleaning service came in and cleaned the bathroom BUT never moped the floor. Mind you I mentioned the toilet overflowed on the floor yet cleaning the sink and tub was more relevant I guess. The women left in such a hurry I get the chance to explain to her the floor had toilet water on it. On the 3rd night my husband and I were hungry so I went downstairs to heat up some food and stopped by the front desk. Delilah (oh joy) was at the desk and asked her if they sold any drinks or snacks there. "No, you can find a vending machine on each floor that has drinks only". I glance to my right I clearly see chips and drinks on display. I repeat myself to sure that she heard me clearly. "So you guys dont sell ANY snacks here, just drinks on each floor". Delilah responds "Correct, if you want anything but drinks you can go across to the Hilton hotel". It then dawned on me that maybe I should've booked that hotel instead. The next morning at check out a sweet girl checked us out. I asked her if (on purpose) if the chips and drink were things guests can purchase. She replied "absolutely, it's the small store you can definitely buy things in there". Something so simple yet Delilah mad me feel like a thorn in her foot. I will never EVER book this hotel again. I'll take her advice and check out the Hilton.

Easy in and out. Convenient shuttle to JFK, great pizza recommendation by there front desk. Prompt delivery of a roll away bed. Things were new and clean, beds SUPER comfy, except for roll away mattress which seemed to be metal could in a 50 year old mattress. Shower faucet and shower head were loosely attached and came away from the wall, but water pressure was good and it was nice and hot. Nice toiletries.

Had a horrific experience, The shower was gross and had to stand in the dirty water while showering , and lots of noise coming from the next room.

With same amount you can get a much better hotel in the city.

Stay away!

I am enjoying my long term stay. The housekeeping staff keeps my room clean and well stocked with necessities. Little things that make a difference - the elevators are programmed to be open on the first floor, and there is a pleasant scent in the lobby elevator area. Also, I like the digital key!

The location is not close to anything. In fact the neighbourhood is a bit dodgy especially if you are a white person. I am a man of colour and walked over to Rockaway Blvd and felt uncomfortable. There are no restaurants near by and to get to Manhattan is a trek!
The hotel itself was comfortable however I couldn t understand why the bathroom sink so tiny. Couldn t fill up the iron under the faucet and when you wash your face there is water on the counter and floor.
The thermostat is a awkward position, if you are under 5 8 you have to stand on the bed to see the screen.
Nevertheless the staff are very friendly,

I'm enjoying my stay here at the Hampton Inn NY-JFK. the hotel is nice & the staff is very nice & helpful! The surrounding area, however, is not nearly as nice as the hotel atmosphere. It's a "rougher" neighborhood not as welcoming as it looks.

My first experience in an Hampton Inn hotel and I've loved it. The rooms, the lobby and the restaurant are very spacious. I've also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. Though they don't offer lunch and dinner, the breakfast is free and very enjoyable. In addition, there is free shuttle to the airport. I will definitely come back here!
