Hampton Inn- JFK Review

Conference rooms decor was very average. However, lobby and lounging areas were very nice on decor.

Very nice hotel, weekends give breakfast for free, all very nice nice rooms we will definitely come back.

The rooms are wonderful. Updated and clean. Service is good, had some great interactions some okay interactions. Most of the service has been with a smile. Lots of traffic at this hotel obviously being close to JFK. The one bad thing, this could be the worst breakfast I've ever had at a Hilton property and definitely sub par selections and they need to find a better vendor. Overall I would recommend this location.

Business travel hotel convenient to JFK and nicely modern

This place is clean and has friendly staff. It's connected to the Hilton with a hallway so you have easy access to a restaurant. Also one of the best free breakfasts I have had.

Very good hotel if you have to travel further from the airport the next day.
International, clean and even a relatively good breakfast ... by American standards

Comfortable and it provides a shuttle to the airport and to the Green Acres Mall which is very convenient.

Mattress and public areas were not reasonably clean. Staff was mostly polite and helpful. Food was fine. The gym was tidy and clean as well as minimally complete. Toilet wouldn't stop self flushing. Good for a short stay.

Even though it's near the airport and a highway, I didn't hear any noise from outside. The rooms are well insulated.
If you wish to have a good night sleep, just make sure you ask for a room that's far away from the elevators.

Our 4 night stay was very enjoyable, rooms were clean and made up daily, breakfast was buffet and was fresh, we only slept there and travelled to all the tourist places by airtrain and tube, enjoyable

It was a luxury hotel! True breakfast buffet is not very. Next to take a walk - be careful. Black quarters. At the crossroads, they sell drugs and watch over tourists.

Nice and close to airport, but offers very little in amenities. Long way to downtown if that's your purpose.

A bit pricey, plus you need to pay for parking additionally. Staff is good.

The rooms well the person who attended my translator and us on arrival did not know Spanish and according to my translator he lacked a little polish attention. To the client, for the prices they have, it is basic to speak two languages, not only English, then another person who knew more or less Spanish answered, nor were there channels in Spanish, there were only 2 around the hotel, there is only one Subway, as it seems that there is no there is food service

Had a great time, the lady even waived my early sign in fee for me.

Perfectly decent airport hotel with free breakfast and shuttle bus from and to the airport. Breakfast area was unusually crowded the day I visited. Parking for anything more than 15 minutes costs extra, which I guess is a given in NYC, but they were kind enough to waive the hard requirement so that we could take an hour to pack up everything in the rental. Bathroom could have used a little attention from maintenance folks before, which is why the four stars only. Otherwise a faultless experience. Will likely visit again when coming late to JFK or heading out early.

Stayed at this hotel the night before an early morning flight at JFK. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was standard Hampton Inn decor, a little smaller than other Hampton Inn locations. Room was right next to elevator so a bit noisy. I didn't utilize any other services at this hotel.

I didn't even get a chance to experience this hotel. We were supposed to take a late flight out to JFK and settle in to our hotel around 1 am on July 1-2 to sleep for the evening before heading into Manhatten. Due to the tornados our flight kept getting pushed back further and futher. Our flight got pushed back until 10:30 the next morning of the 2nd, we wouldn't arrive to JFK until after 4pm, well after the check out time for the hotel, we wouldn't need it anymore. When I called and explained the situation and asked for a refund or even just SOME money back, I was told "it would be hard to put money back on my credit card." I do understand and respect hotel cancellation policies, but in this case is there no exception? It was not my fault (or the hotels) that the tornados pushed my flight back so much but surely there must be SOMETHING that a million dollar hotel chain must be able to do so I do not have to eat the 300 dollars on a hotel I didn't even get to see. All I know is "its going to be hard" for me to recommend this hotel to friends, family, and peers after this situation.

The room had broken amenities. Like a shade that wouldn't close and a shower that wouldn't adjust to a reasonable temperature. Full hot and full cold were the only options.

The mirrors are hung so that an average height person is to tall. He breakfast was not out and ready by 6 am and when it did get out there was rotten fruit. The coffee was cold as if it had been out all night.

The van drivers only know terminals, corporate pilots can't be accommodated. Drivers and front desk are also rude.

Beds have impoved. Staff is fantastic. Shuttle comes pretty quickly to the airport. Fairly modern rooms. Only issue I had was the sink was not great. Very tiny (think cereal bowl tiny) and the faucet covered half of it. Otherwise, as long as the price is right, I'll be back!

The majority of the service was great, most of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were nice and clean. However, we were there during a time of bereavement and upon leaving one of the front desk representatives was extremely rude to my niece.
Although one rotten apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch, that episode left a lot to be desired. Just goes to show that we should all be on our best behavior in business and in life, as we never know what the next person is going through.

The bed is very sleepy, but the breakfast is not much

First time here! Shuttle bus was waiting for us. .our driver was so attentive and helpful, considering we had 11 pieces of luggage.
Our rooms were ready at 2;00 pm ..usually, we would have to wait after 3pm like most other hotels! The room was large and immaculate. .love it. The shower worked perfectly. .the drainage was a bit slow, but, was good anyway!
Breakfast was opened right at 6am., just in enough to have a great meal before our shuttle taking us back to the airport at 6:30am..will be back at Hampton..!!

Decent hotel just near the jfk airport, serives is good, staff is supportive, clean and higine maintained.perfect locstion for people who need stay overnight for further travel.

It s OK, honestly I expected more. Clean hotel and friendly staff, but the location sucks, it s in the middle of major highways and it doesn t have that New York feel where there s lots of stuff nearby. There s very little space in the room, in fact there are no dressers so if you bring more than a few days of clothes you have to stack them up on your nightstand. I also found the lack of TV channels kind of odd. I just came from a much lower cost hotel and they have twice as many TV channel options.

Everyone woke up covered in sweat. Ac was not working when we called down to complaining for being covered in sweat. We got a terrible obnoxious attitude from the front desk lady. If you're reading this, go to the other three hotels around.

Hotel was clean but smelled like skunk I.e marijuana. The smell was so bad , it woke me up. Never again

The room had lots of plugins! Even usb plugins. It had a chair and 2 square things to sit on. You could have two desk spaces. The rest was what you can expect from a descent hotel. Clean and well maintained etc.

Hotel Lobby under renovation. Side door is temporary entrance. Still underway. Rooms showing signs of water leak on top floor. Classic Hamptons Inn style inside. Friendly staff. Good and reliable shuttle at :00 and :30 from hotel to Federal Circle/Air Train.

Nice place. It has some age on it but facilities were clean and worth the price. Personnel were very friendly and helpful.

They do not have a restaurant, they need one. The breakfast is very limited, but something can be done. The good thing is that they have fine transport to the Acres Mall and there you can eat and buy food to go. The rooms so far have seen them clean. I love that coffee and tea are available at all times, as well as lemonade and water. In the afternoons they offer cookies.

Parking was very limited. There was only a small area provided for parking while most of the parking lot was blocked off. I wasn't comfortable parking on the street.

The only negative to this hotel is the cluttered and dated lobby. The Hilton next door has a restaurant and bar. Room was clean and comfortable. Very close to airport with quick shuttle service.

Amazingly comfortable beds, good breakfast, and efficient shuttle buses to and from JFK Airport. Only complaint was that I ordered food from one of the suggested food vendors nearby and waited two hours and never recieved food.

The bed was comfortable & the water was hot but the bathroom was dirty I address the issue the next morning considering we got in late the night before but I was offered a clean bathroom at 6:45 a.m. that's it considering covid-19 about it would have been better cleaned good thing I carry me some disinfectant spray.

I had a wonderful time , the room was very clean , the staff was warm and friendly. It feels like home away from home .

Bunch of Airline crew came in and skipped the line as if they were the host of this hotel. Two staffs there were ignoring the action which made me pissed. No one complained so I did and the staff apologized and gave me the voucher for the parking :). Hotel in general is a bit out dated but great location if you need to go to the JFk.

First off the shuttle picks you up at the airport regularly.
Then the first people to greet you in the hotel are so very friendly and professional.
Sometimes they have fresh cookies in the evenings which I look forward to.
The elevator only works with the room key which is added security I appreciate.
The rooms are good size and always clean. The maid staff does a fantastic job here.
The tv works well and the window shades are blackout dark so you can sleep in really well.
The breakfast hits the spot, it's what you'd expect from hot bacon to cold cereal. Plus oatmeal and fresh fruit.

The best hotel in the sector. Very friendly in their service modern facilities, has shuttle service to Mall GreenAcres with fixed schedules to and from the hotel at no cost

Decently pleasant staff. Not the best Hampton I have been to, but no blatant complaints. Very good service overall. Great breakfast!

Rooms have a microwave and fridge, which is always appreciated. Staff are extremely friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. Only issue we ran across was the airport shuttle ran a bit late, but overall, a very nice airport hotel.

Nice play to stay near to JFK airport.. good place for overnight stay during your flight gaps.

Grab and go breakfast offered during the pandemic, which was quite good but did not vary during the 5-6 days that I spent there.

I'd recommend having complimentary parking or decreasing the price. It is $25 + tax when there's no security offered and is park under your own risk. I didn't encounter any situation with the safety of my rental, but I consider that the price was too high.

Did a day stay but the room was impeccable. The check-in was smooth and there were a great variety of breakfast items.

Excellent! I enjoyed the clean room, the AC, and the gym. The breakfast was excellent! I enjoyed my Belgian Waffle for breakfast! I was surprised they had low calorie margarine and sugar free syrup! The only complaint if u can call it that was there were only omelettes with meat in them and pork sausage. There were boiled eggs, but I would have preferred an egg white omelette. I ve been to hotels in the south and they had turkey sausage and egg white omelettes. So to be in NY and not have that choice was surprisingly odd to me. That still does not diminish the great stay I had that this hotel. I m sure this was because most people want meat and the egg white omelettes did go over well in the past. Never the less, if u have the extra $ stay there and enjoy!
