All of the staff was amazing but one. The front desk staff named Delilah (one of the other employees gave me her name). Where do I begin. First at check in she made us feel so unwelcomed. She asked if we needed a crib our 5 month old. After politely declining and saying no, she gave us a look of disgust. Why? I have no idea. Fast forward to day 2 (4 night stay). Our toilet overflowed around 2 am waking us and the baby up. Staff was so amazing sending someone right away to help and even put a 9am time in for the cleaning service to come clean up the next day. Problem fixed? Nope! Cleaning service came in and cleaned the bathroom BUT never moped the floor. Mind you I mentioned the toilet overflowed on the floor yet cleaning the sink and tub was more relevant I guess. The women left in such a hurry I get the chance to explain to her the floor had toilet water on it. On the 3rd night my husband and I were hungry so I went downstairs to heat up some food and stopped by the front desk. Delilah (oh joy) was at the desk and asked her if they sold any drinks or snacks there. "No, you can find a vending machine on each floor that has drinks only". I glance to my right I clearly see chips and drinks on display. I repeat myself to sure that she heard me clearly. "So you guys dont sell ANY snacks here, just drinks on each floor". Delilah responds "Correct, if you want anything but drinks you can go across to the Hilton hotel". It then dawned on me that maybe I should've booked that hotel instead. The next morning at check out a sweet girl checked us out. I asked her if (on purpose) if the chips and drink were things guests can purchase. She replied "absolutely, it's the small store you can definitely buy things in there". Something so simple yet Delilah mad me feel like a thorn in her foot. I will never EVER book this hotel again. I'll take her advice and check out the Hilton.
