Simply lovely all around. Great and simple transportation to the airport.
Poor, just poor. Staff not helpful at all. Not my usual experience with Hampton.
My husband and I have used the Hampton Inn before and will in the future. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. No problems falling asleep. Thanks guys!
Pillows we're awful and the shower was dirty. I had to wait almost an hour for the airport shuttle, a lot of it in the cold.
Good enough. A little dated but it's clean and comfortable.
Reasonable price, easy shuttle, friendly staff, perfect airport hotel.
They are under construction and they staff act as if the us folks that are paying to be there are in their way, in the meantime, nothing on their website tells us that they are under construction. They also does not mention the hidden fees and no parking unless you are willing to pay$25.00 extra a day, I will not be going back there even if the construction is over, the Asian woman at the front desk is too nasty with her attitude!!! The room was clean though!
Large, clean and spacious rooms, courteous service and smiles from the entire hotel staff
This is a hotel that is used because of its proximity to JFK airport. The beds are uncomfortable, but some of the rooms have a view of the N.Y. skyline. The hotel attaches to the Hilton where there is a restraunt that is pretty good. The down side is parking is limited, and it costs $21 a night. A shuttle is offered. I would be reluctant to use the hotel shuttle, the driver almost hit us in the parking lot and blocked the ramp so we had to lift our luggage over the curb. Shows to me a lack of judgement I am not willing to risk, especially when trying to catch a flight.
There is no restaurant, although they do have a good variety of food by phone from nearby restaurants
Rooms are clean and smells good no blow dryer no towel racks. No bible In The drawer
So far, we checked in and were given a double queen room after booking a king bed-room... Desk compt our parking for the change. Room is small, but clean.
The restaurant is a bit over priced but its the city area. The ice machine didn't work (it was our wedding night too, short and sweet) so no champagne the nights we stayed. Also, microwave only in common area not in the rooms... It made me sad. When we went to check out, the other desk person had no idea about the compt parking but she honored it.
A decent hotel with decent amenities. We booked this when our airport was shutdown, and had to stay an additional night. Very friendly, very nice people.
Nice hotel to hold an invite very clean and warm Venus
Very convenient and very friendly staff. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean. I will be staying there on my return back to the US.
This place was DEFINITELY disappointing. The person at the desk spoke with me for about 7 minutes and never mentioned taking an additional $50.00 off my card for "damages". The bathtub was stopped up and the thermostat was broken. The sign states lunch was available but, staff stated only breakfast and dinner was available and sent me next door to the Hilton for lunch. The soda machine didn't work and the desk agent gave me a lil problem when I went downstairs (in my pajamas) to ask for something to drink. I can go on but, I'd rather continue with corporate
The staff was wonderful. Clean enough for a hotel near the airport. Our room was noisy as we faced a parking lot next to trucks backing up. Liked the security very much, so you have to take the good with the bad. I would stay here again, I would just make sure the outside area was quiet before getting settled.
Decent rooms and noise insulation. Shuttle to airport every 30 minutes
Great place.. free transfer to airport.. free breakfast.. very nice ladies at the receptions.. worth it.
Reasonable prices. Clean room. 10 minutes from JFK. You will need to have a car. There is nothing to do or see in immediate vacinity. Free shuttle service to airport.
Clean rooms and a substantial breakfast for a quite good price and - for New York City - a relatively quiet neighborhood.
Renovation not noted on the website, the shuttle took 35 mins to pick me up at federal circle after I called for a pickup.
I just went there to drop off a family member. I have no comments about the Inn itself, except for the fact that it was easily accessible to enter and exit the property for a quick and easy drop off.
Good stay overnight. Hotel is clean and service friendly. All good.
Service was great, problem was with the room. A/C did not work great which left the room hot, which resulted us in having to change rooms. The new room had another A/C that was mediocre. Sleeping was quite uncomfortable due to that and so our 3 nights there was frustrating.
Friendly staff and close to the airport with free shuttle
This is what the hospitality industry is about , the staff here a trained very well.
Conveniently located right by JFK Airport! Their rooms are very clean and their staff is friendly. Their free Airport shuttle service was also very awesome and convenient to say the least.
The place was VERY nice but why if your a guest that paid for a room do I to paid 20.00 dollars a day to park in their parking lot??? Was it because of the area that this hotel is in??? I don't think I'll be returning
Was here for business. Very nice place. Clean and professional
this accommodation is fine but a bit far from the mall
We had a day use room and it was extremely relaxing and quiet. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend this hotel. Close to JFK and free shuttle.
Wonderful Hampton inn very close to JFK also attached to a Hilton to resterant and godt shop is available also 24 hour shuttle to airport. Great rooms and full security as only guests can go above the first floor. My go-to place for JFK.
Great hotel, close to JFK with shuttle service available. Jocelyn and Renata at desk took great care of us. All you can expect from the Hilton name. 24 hour coffee, to go or stay buffet breakfast. Bonus enclosed walkthrough to another Hilton with full bar and restaurant. Enjoy!
Staff is awesome very nice rooms are nice place is fantastic came here on a business trip will definitely recommend free breakfast is a plus and lots to choose from
Standard airport hotel... does have free breakfast in the mornings and I really like their beds.
Poor customer service manager looking she rolled out of bed and came to work
If I could give this place a zero I would. DO NOT STAY HERE TRUST ME. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
The clean and convenient hotel around the airport is a good choice for a restful break when you transfer to JFK.
Very friendly staff. Room was clean and modern. I would stay again and highly recommend.
The staff was really helpful checking in my party and finding street parking, even though their lot was already full. Furthermore, they were able to direct me to the adjoined Hilton to purchase metro tickets and provided excellent information on catching the correct buses and subway lines to reach Manhattan for our free day.
I stayed at this hotel this past week for a couple of days and when I checked in the service seemed good the second night I came down went to the front desk and the customer service was poor from the older woman that was service in me on my last night I ordered takeout and as I sat down it was eating a roach was crawling down the wall from the top of the ceiling down towards the TV I called the front desk and I let them know and they change my room and then at around 5 in the morning I get woken up by a wake-up call that I never asked for I called the front desk and told them about the phone call and that I wanted to be compensated for the roach incident and waking me up at 5 in the morning with a phone call I never asked for so by the time I got ready to check out they haven't came up with a decision said the manager was that a second property so later on that day or the next day I received an email stating day are they going to give me 20000 points I told them I didn't want 20000 points I wanted a refund because 20000 points is $100 and now I'm emailing this person from the hotel back and forth and is like they don't care I will not be staying at this property anymore I'm a diamond member I spent over $400 on this stay an that insult to me to offer me 20000 points
Things are smooth... except that the transport from the airport was pretty slow. I think there weren't enough staff at that time. Once they arrive they are helpful and courteous, though.
Stayed here after a red eye flight... We're nice to let us check in early. The room was clean and comfortable to get a night rest . would definitely be staying here when coming by JFK
I would give it a 5 star rating but you have to pay for parking at 27 dollars a night
No TV or desk lamp in the room. Unusual for a hotel anyway. But additionally there was a place for the TV and the desk area was dark. Also over the phone the person with whom I made the reservation specifically mentioned that there was a TV.
The customer service is unbelievable! Go Hamptom! So good breakfast. Room. You bame it! Perfect overall!
Good location near JFK. It's s trip into Manhattan. We used ride share to get to the nearest subway station and went into the city by subway.
The manager, Wonderful Wanda was pleasant, accommodating, helpful, kind.
Clean, great breakfast, speedy shuttle service, friendly staff. Elevators we're SLOW.
It a nice hotel and it is attached to the Hilton as well with a hallway, this give you the Bar and restaurant. Friendly people, they are upgrading the lobby and eating area (almost done with it).
At Check in I was greeted as if I were a number and dispatching me with urgency was uppermost.
We were also told that because our room was booked by a 3rd party we had to pay for parking (and this is not a safe area for cars), We were totally unaware of this prior to our visit.
On the 2nd day our room was not cleaned or linens changed because we had not so indicated. Upon inquiring we were told that in Covid-19 times it is written on a sheet of paper (never provided to us at check in). There were no such postings elsewhere.
On the 3rd day we complained about the water not draining per normal in the bath tub. We eventually had to remove the stopper.
The night blind was torn at the sides and were not easily pulled down or drawn up.
On the last 2 nights my wife was visited by bed bugs (see photos below).
The complimentary breakfast was a complete waste of time.
The marijuana smoking was evident at nights.
The lighting around the area could be improved as parking one s car in the nearby streets was a daunting experience.
Very nice staff. Even during construction, property felt very welcoming
My husband and I give the Hampton Inn a 5 star rating. I am a travel
agent and now have recommend the Hampton Inn not only to my staff, but
to all of my clients who will be traveling to New York. Our room was very comfortable,
clean and spacious. The breakfast was generous and very good. Ana Zapata, the
General Manager, deserves a 5 star rating for helping us with our travel needs - sightseeing, transportation, and airline flights. Also all of her staff were courteous and
helpful. The Hampton Inn definitely is the place to stay if one is traveling in or out of
New York!
Great spot but have been doing renovations to first floor for over a year.... get on with it and we will come back.
Not too bad, close to everything and what you would expect from any Hampton.
Shuttle driver didnt wanted any tips$$$ he didnt not offer to help load the luggage in the bus. It's ok he lose
If you travel with kids and looking for connecting rooms believe me it s a night mare. Their customer service is poor as well.
Great service. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean environment.
