Until our experience with the shuttle, I would have given the overall stay 4 stars. However, the shuttle fiasco completely ruined the experience. The hotel is decent, clean, and in very close proximity to JFK (which is why we stayed here of course). We had an early morning flight out of JFK & stayed here so we wouldn't have to get up at 4 AM to arrive at the airport on time. The shuttle was operating only every hour, so we took the 7 AM shuttle. Well, the driver had a problem with my boyfriend & I- he refused to lift our suitcases into the cargo area (forcing my boyfriend to do it himself, unlike everyone else whose suitcases the driver put in) & then he yelled at my boyfriend & seemed angry we were taking the shuttle for some reason?? I'm still so confused & this experience ruined our stay & my feelings toward the hotel.

Front desk staff very pleasant, bed very very comfortable we slept like babies. Room very clean and and the breakfast in the morning the best waffles, eggs, hot beverages etc. We will stay there again

Lady at the front desk wasn't so welcoming. She didn't let my family know when breakfast was being served; We didn't have and soap, trash bags or the correct amount of towels for my family size. My husband and I called the front desk for the missing items. It took them about an hour to bring us the items.

I booked a room over here while waiting for my flight which was to take off the next day. It was alright but nothing spectacular. For the service offered kind of expensive. The parking lot was packed and I think that could be an issue for all these folks who arrive here with a car. The room was clean and spacious though. The breakfast room could be in a better shape. The employees did not seem to be eager to tidy up. Still I found it to be alright. I would still stay here, if I were to wait for my flight.

This was my second time here and although my room was nice, my intetaction with one of the staff left me unimpressed. The african american male at the front desk was rude. I was trying to come into the building with 4 bags and the revolving door was locked. I knocked and asked him to let me in. Hr took his sweet time and rudely said "don't you see the button" Well no I didn't see it and you're not doing anything, .you can open it. Very rude and not customer focused. Sad! He needs to not work with people.

What I love the most about this hotel was customers service. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel comfortable at all time. Everyone was very helpful. Girls at the front desk were amazing!!

One of the good hotel to stay nearby JFK, NY. Hotel provides free airport shuttle. Once you exit from JFK airport terminal, take air train to reach federal circle. Basement you will find shuttle bus. Hotel service is good and working staff's are very friendly. Room is very clean and maintained well. Provides free Wifi connection.

Date of check-in was Sunday Aug 16th after a long 12 hour drive from Cincinnati. The receptionist that night was NOT Friendly at all. I was tired and just wanted to get some sleep. She didn t even a smile or a greet us upon our arrival nor did she provide direction to our room. We were not pleased with her service and I personally would not hire her if this was my business. The morning crew, on the other hand, were much more friendlier than her.

We also did not feel that the hotel was kept clean throughout the day and/or night considering the fact that things should be routinely sanitized during this COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

The bellman luggage cart was super greasy. I don t think this was ever cleaned.

Also, this wind stopper door by the entry of the hotel (green doors) were not cleaned at all during the 2 nights we were there. You had to pull the door in order to open it. Too much contact required.

Normally, we don t care about these little things, but with COVID 19 being in the air, we are more subconscious about these things and it would make a huge difference for us to see someone at the hotel spraying or sanitizing these things frequently. This puts outlet kinds at ease and builds our confidence about the cleanliness of the hotel

There were not enough hand sanitizers across the hotel or hallways but only one location (i.e. at the front desk). There should be some at least by each elevator door and on every floor.

I feel giving one star is not even correct but to write this review I need to give it one star .
1. First Room - poor cleaning and roaches all around the restroom . On giving complaint .. they immediately changed the room
2. Now we go to room 2 moving all luggage s , in room 2 the toilet flush was not working . On giving complaint the engineer fixes it but again at midnight 2 am when we use it water starts to leak all over the floor..
When we called the front desk they say no other rooms available and they had use the vacuum to suck all the water outside..
we could not sleep
3. Again requested for a different or give me the old room
Response was very rude from the front desk.

Even u find great deals pls don t use this hotels.. if it s maintained by Hilton they better work with the team and get it sorted

I will never forget this worst experience during this covid time ..

Not crazy about the remodel....really missed the night light in the bathroom that was under the sink.... that was the perfect amount of light in the middle of the night... NOW you have to turn on the SUPER BRIGHT overhead light.

Good location near the airport and great hotel. Free breakfast in the morning and shuttle to the local mall if you don t want to go into the city or it s raining. Attached to the Hilton which has a full restaurant and bar and a bus stop outside that will take you to the subway or LIRR to go anywhere basically. Great friendly staff every visit.

Basic but good hotel with a comfortable bed and friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant is in the Hilton next door and there is interconnected indoor passage between both hotels. Well connected to JFK.

place is not as clean as other Hampton Inn we stay...

place is not as clean as other Hampton Inn we stayed in but their staff is very very accomodating. they gave us early check in and late checkout which really helped make our airport connection less stressful.

Location was perfect for getting to the airport and the shuttle seemed to always be ready to take us to the airport. Bathrooms were clean and renovated. Rooms were very large with comfortable beds, pillows and all of the other amenities that you would need. The free breakfast isn't huge but has all of the basics

Great service clean rooms affordable being so close to the airport and casino I booked this hotel cause due to covid I did not want to travel outside of nyc like I usually do for my birthday this year and it was great the pizza place that delivered has the best sausage pepper onion sandwich I have tasted I stood there 2 nights and it was great I was going to stay another night but a snow storm is coming and just wanted to get back home asap I get home to notice I left my brand new coat in my room I called the front desk and the kind lady that works there in the morning told house keeping to find it and had it waiting at the front desk thank you so much u guys made my lil birthday getaway that much better

Missed my connection and stayed here overnight. Lobby and breakfast area could use updating, but rooms spacious and comfortable. TV is a bit small. They have a small selection of pre made food and I chose pasta. It was actually really good. Front desk staff top notch. VERY friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to and from airport very convenient. They will pick you up at Federal Circle AirTrain stop. They will drop you off at your terminal. Drop off service begins at 4am.

Hampton Inn NY-JFK, an 8-minute drive from JFK Air...

Hampton Inn NY-JFK, an 8-minute drive from JFK Airport, has a Shuttle Bus service to and from the airport, connects with the Hilton.

Clean and spacious rooms, breakfast can be a little more varied, but it was still hot and with comfortable places to enjoy this.

It is a good option as was my case, to spend the night by a stop of several hours to take an international flight with stopover in the United States

Clean rooms. Decent selection of food at breakfast. Free shuttle to the airport every thirty minutes. Check in and check out we're quick. Overall a great and cozy efficient hotel when transiting through JFK airport.

The facilities were ok, but not 4 stars. The location had little to no restaurants kr store available within reasonable walking distance. I would rate it 3 stars if the customer service was better, but the front desk staff was not helpful. They were passive agressive and rude. Overall, there are better options available.

I luv'd that huge bed!!! The temperature was just right, the cable had great channels- I had a great experience. The staff were nice & reminded people to wear their masks. My only issue is that parking in the adjoining parking lot is not free, but luckily there is lots of street parking!

I would have given this place 5 stars although there was a few things that ruined it.

Positives: Professional and friendly staff! Very nice and clean rooms also! Complimentary morning breakfast had a nice selection, fitness, and business center available!

Negatives: Checking in they had us wait for about an hour before we could get our room. There was no microwave and our fridge they gave us looked somewhat very old. Kind of an inconvenient location to travel.

Stay overall went very well though. I would def book with them again if I wanted to be in the area or was visiting friends/family close by.

My husband and and I stayed here the nights before and after our honeymoon. Our first night, the phone system was down, so we had to take an Uber to the hotel vs. the free airport shuttle, which was a bit frustrating. The women at the front desk were quite lovely both stays. The rooms (we stayed in a queen room the first time and a king room the second) are a bit run down and the bathrooms a bit cramped. The Butler food service was phenomenal though! We loved the meals both visits, although it took significantly longer the second time. Served our needs, but not our best hotel experience.

Clean, polite, fast shuttle, good location. I dropped a rental car off the night before and stayed here. It's a quick drive but walking back from Federal Circle is a bit indirect. Easy to find and get to. Quiet despite being near the highway and airport (obviously).

I stayed in a very good double room, very large bathroom good room, the coffee was exelente lot of variety and every day had different things the coffee time was until 11 in the morning oq whoever wants to sleep until later. always have a coffee, tea or milk at the free front desk. has parking but is paid. only one drawback is well affluent from manhattam 1 hour drive because of transit and there is no next subway just so I do not give 5 stars.

What a find! Stayed here the night before flying out of JFK, and everything was so great. Excellent customer service (even better than the Westin, where I stayed the prior 4 nights). Also the beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom had some maintenance issues, but for the price we paid, I can't complain. Plus the free breakfast was great, much better than a Holiday Inn, which is where I typically stay. Would definitely stay here again if flying into JFK.

Nice hotel for NYC. 10 min form the Airport . Clean safe and has access to restaurant next door. parking is a problem. You have go in geta ticket then walk back out ot your car and secure parking badge. That did not go well for due to heavy rain :( and I have to pay for it as well WTH Hilton
