I didn't have much experience with buying a car before going through Griffin, so the whole process seemed scary. After reaching out to their team, everything went very easy and smoothe. They made me feel like my happiness was their first priority, and the pressure of working with a large dealer was nonexistent. I would absolutely recommend Griffin Ford to anyone, especially first time buyers.

Are initial visit no sales men approached us after being in the lot looking at cars for over a half a hour.
Went back the next day at 1:15 to set up test drive. Decided to purchase the vehicle finally walked out at 530. Was told 2nd key had to find or will cut a new one. Was told key cutter there on wed. 11-2. Tried to get there following wed. Still no key, was told by my sales men he would call cutter to get exact time he would be there. No contact from my sales men yet another week later. Now have issue with passenger window on the driver side, cant close window with driver switch, only passenger switch. Will be calling about that. Not sure how that will go, cant even get the 2nd key and fob i was promised. Not to Happy with this purchase, or our rep. Last car we bought was 12 yrs ago, same place. Thought the whole process would have been better. Better 12yrs ago. Felt like because we weren't purchasing a new car, are sale wasnt important enough to get good service. Just make a sale and go.

The people in the service department are always co...

The people in the service department are always cordial, helpful, and they always take care of all my requests. They let me know if I need something done. The one small downside is that I had a free oil change and a small balance on my rewards card that they forgot to use. I mentioned it, and they will use it next time.
The car runs splendidly, my brakes in the rear were replaced, and I do have to say, the overall treatment from Griffin Ford is why I always come back.
It's a great dealership!!!

Amazing from start to finish! I took my car in because a part had been recalled. The customer service and attention to detail the employees at the service center put towards my visit there was devine! Their waiting room is also the best one I've ever been to; there was all types of refreshments, fresh popcorn, granola bars, even instant soup! Also when I got back into my car after my service, there was a little bag of complimentary cookies with a thank you note. I really appreciate the small details and will definitely be returning for all of my vehicle needs. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I drove from the IL Suburbs to Waukesha, WI to look at a used Fusion. I fell in love with it right away, and didn't really even try to negotiate much besides asking them to honor their $100 off coupon from their website. I was thrilled to sign the papers and take it home. I wish I could say that the rest of my time dealing with the dealership was as easy as the decision to buy the car.

I had asked for the walk out the door price before making the drive so that I could get a cashier's check from my bank for the exact amount I would owe. Even though they knew that I was doing this, the finance person still tried to convince me to pay for an extended warranty and had to be told multiple times that I wasn t interested.

Like Wisconsin, Illinois requires the taxes, registration and plates be finalized within 30 days of buying a car, which you can t do without the title. When I called the dealership to find out why I hadn t received the title yet after 2 weeks, they said it would arrive within 2-3 weeks of purchase. After the third week, I started reaching out again. They bounced me around to different departments, and finally someone started working with me via email to get my problem solved. My questions about why I didn t have my title and if they had a tracking number, always took a day or more to get a response, and the reply was generally We re looking into it . Ultimately they took so long that the temporary plates on my car expired, so I had to drive my boyfriends car to work.

A package did arrive, which had my second key, but nothing else. There was no package for the title that anyone signed for or saw on the porch. My boyfriend works remote, so he s always home to answer the door when packages are delivered. After talking with Griffin Ford more, I eventually I got a tracking number from them for the title. It said the package was delivered on my porch, but it never was. There was no indication of which address the package was sent to, and Griffin Ford ignored my request that they confirm the address. I suspect that the tracking number was for the package with the key and that they never sent the title to begin with. Possibly the person I was talking to just saw that there was a package sent to me, and assumed it was the title.

I asked the dealership to send a replacement title.. They explained that in order to do so, they would need to request one from the previous vehicle owner which took some additional time. Their default was to mail it USPS, but I asked that they send it as signature required or certified so that there would be no possibility of being lost in the mail or stolen. The car cost $15k, and we already explained to them that the first title never arrived. It is concerning to have important documents and car keys being sent in the mail without some sort of security.

Finally, I get the title, and take it to the DMV. The title isn t signed by Griffin Ford, and the DMV refuses to transfer it. I send it back to Griffin as certified mail (which they said they would pay for, but never did). The title is again sent back, signed this time. But the dealer number field wasn t populated so I was turned away again. I was eventually able to get the dealer number via a phone call to the dealership, but all of this should have been handled the first time it had been sent to me.

It took 2 months between when I bought the car, and when I was able to get the title transferred. Illinois has since issued me a fine for paying the title tax a month late. I m requesting a waiver from the state for the fine due to the title delay.

I specifically drove the two hours to this dealership because they had overly positive reviews. I wish I could have had the experience that so many others seem to have here. I love the car. It is so beautiful, but I will never go back to Griffin Ford.

I have yet to purchase from Griffin, but I can say this. I was looking at getting a new Mustang with Cory and he was extremely helpful. Griffin didn't have exactly what I was looking for.

I did have an older mustang that luckily broke down in their parking lot last fall. The service department was able to repair it quickly and work with me when I lived 2 hours away.

I will keep an eye on their inventory when it is time to trade in again.

Wonderful place to buy a vehicle. I honestly have nothing bad to say. Steve my salesman was great. He was on top of things, always made sure I new of any changes. Because of him I will be returning for more buys in the future. Melissa from finance was great, just made the experience that much easier

You can tell this is a great place just by the atmosphere. They are always busy wether day or night so there must be a reason so many people go here. They take very good care of their customers and have a great selection of vehicles. I was a little disappointed with something being wrong with my vehicle the 2nd day but they are taking care of me. It's a little irritating because I live 40 minutes away but it is what it is. I also love my vehicle and I love ford!

The service advisor was very friendly and went through everything in detail. The wait time for service was less than expected. However the only reason for not giving 5 stars is that when I got home and looked in my mailbox, there was a saftey recall letter that required me to take the vehicle in asap. The service advisor or staff should have advised me of this when I was there and I could have made arrangements to leave the vehicle there.Now I have to make a special trip back.

the driver side window does not operate correctly and the roll up
Tonneau cover was never installed correctly. I took the truck in for service on the window at least 4 times and was never fix. I took my truck in 3 times for the Tonneau cover to be put on correctly and they
couldn't do that right either. I talked to the service manager twice and that didn't help. I wrote an email to Griffin Ford to show my concern for the lack service and that was ignored. Bottom line their service department is terrible and I bought my last vehicle at Griffin Ford.

Saying that the Griffin staff was professional sounds sterile, but they are professional, but not sterile, The actual feeling we came away with is that everyone we met treated us with respect and were friendly and engaged with us without giving the feeling that their interest in our satisfaction was forced behavior. We knew we wanted an Edge to replace our Escape and started out the process in the Used Car area. Within 15 minutes we were seated with Glen Pavlovich in New Cars exploring the features of the new Edge. Within two hours we had selected an SUV. After a test ride, the first decision was the color made by actually seeing cars, not small dots in a brochure. Next was the options available. We wanted all the new safety features and ended up selecting an Edge Titanium. We picked our Edge up the next day. Glen was great through the entire process, but he really made the A+ grade as he walked us through how to use the features of the Edge at delivery. He was as happy to show us the Edge as we were to be sitting in it at delivery. Everyone we met from our being greeted at the door through delivery receives high marks for making our Edge buying experience GREAT.

I purchased my Edge a year ago and have been happy with the service. The service department IS very busy so I've learned to plan ahead for my regular maintenance. They generally get you in promptly for appointments, and the service advisors and cashiers are friendly and helpful.

We came to Griffin Ford with no idea of what we wanted and no anticipation of actually finding something we loved. Dave took the time to listen to our needs and desires for our next family vehicle and we couldn t be more happy with his service. He talked to us like humans, not a salesman, and was patient through the whole experience, not pushy at all and didn t try to sell other stuff with the car like the normal car buying experience is. We took time to pick out a car, test drove a 2015 Ford Edge, and because of Dave s knowledge and understanding of what we wanted, we narrowed it down so great that we didn t even need to drive another car, this was it! Dave also worked hard to get us an amazing trade in price on our current vehicle, we were astounded at what they were able to give us! Isabel in the finance department went above and beyond to get us the best rate possible for the new car and also took her time and was patient with us explaining everything so we could understand what we were buying and our payments! Such a fantastic experience overall! If you re on the market absolutely go to Griffin Ford!

I don't generally like car dealerships. But Griffin is different. They treat you better than most. No high pressure sales. Honest service. I will go out of my way to buy and get service from Griffin verses other dealerships in the area.

Update:. Something with ownership or management has changed. Just not the same great place anymore .

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I ve had 3 separate occasions my car has been dropped off for service with promise of work to be done and it never actually gets done. I come to pick the car up and it has more miles than when it was originally dropped off with and the work hasn t even been done! The most recent turn of events include the service mechanics taking Cobb parts off my car and then having them disappear into thin air. Every time my car gets dropped off for recall work my car returns home with 10x the amount of problems it had before.

Griffin ford is the WORST service I have ever dealt with; and I ve worked in the car industry for almost 10 years. FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CAR DON T TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CAR!!!!!!

He was able to get me into an awesome 2015 Escape that was able to fit my tight budget. I never felt talked down to or uneducated working with him like I had at other dealerships. Both times Dustin A helped me and was great. I had a left over issue from when I bought my escape in July 2017 and he took care of it. I felt like he went above and beyond to fix the issue.

I am very pleased with the service and the Mustang GT that I bought from Griffin Ford. I am about 6 hours away from Waukesha Wisconsin in southern Indiana. When I was getting details of the car over the phone via pictures already posted. I asked for several more pictures that they helped me with even took it up on the lift rack and showed me the underneath. The car is everything they said it would be. Great experience even 6 hours away plus a full tank of gas! Thanks Griffin Ford.

I tried using the service department to take advantage of my expensive warrranty we purchased through our salesman and a possible oil change and tire repair. I went into the service office and stood in front of the room, that had 3 guys sitting at their desks, without being acknowledged for about 5 min. Simeone could have looked up and said they would be right with me considering they had no people in front of them. I assume it was the service manager (who was having a personal conversation with a co-worker) that finally said he would help me soon if nobody else freed up. After waiting longer, a guy who had his lunch in his hand came through the door and said he could help. As I was starting to tell him what I was there for he rudely interrupted asking my name, then wanted to know why I was there. He took pictures of my car for my warranty, could get them loaded to his computer to submit my claim. He didn't bother to ask anyone else to take pictures with their phone so it never got done. He said I could do it at home, when I called the day before they told me to come in. What a waste of my time! It's great to sell me the warranty, when I want to use it they treat you like your a huge inconvenience! Aweful customer service! SO simple, just say hello we will be right with you and don't lead in to me that I am using your lunch time! We never even got to the other services I was asking about, so I left and went two doors down to Midas and gave them my business! Much friendly group of guys at Midas!

The sales team from Matthew and Kip to the Phil in the finance department were all very friendly and professional and took their time in answering any questions we had.

UPDATE: So, to their credit, I received a phone call the day after posting my original review as they were looking to find out exactly what happened with my truck. I walked them through the situation and explained it step by step, after which they were fully apologetic and offered a bunch of services at no cost for me with the truck, but I declined. In response they did decide to reimburse me for a decent portion of the repairs. Again, to their credit, this is far more response than I would have expected and they fully initiated the contact on their own and sought me out, I didn't do anything other than post on my experience. Thank you for the follow up and for trying to make the situation right. Incidents happen and it's not okay, but when a company genuinely tries to rectify the issue, that much I genuinely do appreciate.

ORIGINAL POST:
I brought my truck in about a month ago to have a noise looked at, it was making a grinding sound between 30 and 40mph at low RPM. I explained the problem, gave them specific details of when it would occur, but they said they just couldn't find the issue even though I could get it to happen all the time. They ended up trying 3 or 4 different things and I wound up paying A THOUSAND DOLLARS on something they "hoped" they had fixed. Spoiler alert: they didn't. I pick my truck up and not only is the problem still there, it's WORSE, and this time I actually get video of when it's occurring and how it sounds. I take it back the next day and despite the video they STILL can't find it! The next week I take it to a local shop and they find the problem in under 30min and my total bill was UNDER $30! I WASTED multiple days and A THOUSAND BUCKS on your terrible service department. Thanks for stealing money from me, consider me at least one person you'll never see again.

I worked with Bob Groover at Griffin Ford in Waukesha on a used Chrysler 300. I could not have asked for an easier more painless car buying experience. No high pressure, no game playing, just a good car at a fair price. The entire staff at the dealership was professional and friendly and the business manager Samm Thomas made the financing arrangements a breeze without any hard sell tactics that I've experienced at other dealerships. This was my first purchase from Griffin Ford but I'm sure it won't be my last.

I purchased my used Escape at this dealership about six months ago. Overall the trade in and buying process went smooth and have had no major issues with the vehicle.

Dave N. was our sales person, and he was available and willing to answer my questions before, during and after all of it. Even six months later after I had a minor problem with the service department he followed up directly with me. I appreciate his business ethic. Hopefully in the next few years when I change vehicles he's still there to work with again. I wasn't the easiest to deal with so I appreciate his patience.

I got my first oil change from the service department and I appreciate the positive demeanor of the staff. It's also convenient that the dealership has a chat feature online- I dropped off my vehicle and forgot to mention a detail, and I got on my phone, went to their website and was able to chat with them within minutes.

Good location, convenient services colocated, so overall I'm very happy.

I came to Griffin Ford from another Ford dealership and I was extremely frustrated. The management at the other dealership had treated me poorly and I believe it was due to the fact that I was a woman buying a truck. Pete greeted me and asked if he could help me. After giving him a short version of the situation, I drove a truck I found in their on-line inventory. Pete was friendly, helpful and did NOT apply a bunch of high pressure sales tactics. My husband and I returned that evening to drive a slightly different truck and were helped by Mike Griffin, also friendly and helpful, since Pete was not working that evening. The next day I returned, worked comfortably with Pete and bought a truck. My husband and I are very happy with our purchase and the service I received. I would definitely recommend Pete and Griffin Ford to others!

Salespeople were very helpful and friendly. The people handling the financing though were exceptionally pushy and blatantly ignored my requests. I repeatedly asked for what my credit score was returning and stated that I wanted no more than 4% interest on my car loan and was told that was what I would receive. Despite that, I ended up with a 4.5% interest loan through a sketchy lender. I would highly suggest this location to anyone paying cash but never to anyone looking to finance a vehicle.

Recently bought a 2015 Ford Taurus SHO. Overall my experience was average. During the buying process I did feel quite pressured into buying the car. Salesman asked what he could do to get me into the car, but was very quick to shoot down anything I tried.Two days after purchase I noticed a rock chip on the roof which was rusting, emailed my salesman who didn't offer much other than saying take the car to service, the bday shop told me they were not going to fix the chips under warranty, which is dissapointing because when spending 30,000 dollars on a car you definitely don't want it to be rusting off the lot. Noticed streaks on the windshield and asked to have them cleaned off, they were still not removed. Financing was a great experience. The rest of the purchase experience was average at best.

Edited from two stars to one. I had the vehicle professionally detailed because the dealership did not remove water spots from the paint when it was sold, the retailers discovered evidence that the rear passenger door was repainted! The vehicle had been crashed and was very poorly repaired. This damage was never disclosed to me when buying the vehicle, and I did finance with the previous owner who told me it was never crashed. This covering up of known damage is a bad buisness practice at best, and illegal at worst.

Anton, the used car sales manager got in touch with me following this review and the body damage was fixed, when getting the car back the areas that were fixed looked worse than before! It was clear that they put a buffer in the hands of a very inexperienced person, which caused massive amounts of swirl marks. Anton tried to convince me that it just needed to be waxed. Then he offered to have the dealership buff it. After the nightmare experience I had with the dealership I do not trust them with the car any longer. I perused other options for getting the damage caused by the body shop fixed on my own dime. From start to finish this car buying experience was the worst purchase experience I have ever had in my life.

The saleswoman Andrea was exceptionally helpful, she made sure to answer every question I had and made me feel as if I was a good friend and not just a customer. We had found a truck we were interested in online and salesman Matthew Thornburg called me back within minutes of showing interest. He had it waiting for us when we got to the dealership. Matt was great to work with and had a lot of information on the vehicle. The only reason this is a four start review instead of five is because we were there almost three hours. Thankfully they have a really nice waiting area with kids toys, snacks, drinks, and a TV.

I bought a used vehicle and shortly after purchase I had a problem that fell under the warranty. The warranty company was making it difficult to get fixed in a timely fashion. Griffin Ford stepped up and took my worries away by getting it fixed. The communication with management when there was a problem was true customer service. I live 100 miles away and would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from the great staff at Griffin Ford.

Was looking for a very specific vehicle and Griffin Ford actually had a couple to choose from. Tony Faraos the sales person I was working with knew of a vehicle that was not even on the lot yet but knew it would fit my request.
Took me a couple of trips to the dealer but I got exactly what I was looking for.
Very happy with the experience.

Purchased 4 cars form Cary in the past 2 yrs and always a pleasure doing business with him. He always keeps an eye out for me and let's me know if they got some I might be interested in. Even called me after a year to see how thing were going. A+ customer service. Griffen has been my go to dealership.

My name is jesse, I scheduled an appointment via there online site. I was called the day before my appointment and was told their was a mistake on their end and could not maintain the appointment. It was rescheduled for a Monday at 10am. I went to the appointment and informed the service rep that on top of the oil change/fluid/tire rotation, if they can make sure the transmission fluid was checked. He said yes we can do that. After the work was done, I asked if they checked the transmission fluid and he told me that they could not reach the transmission fluid and the transmission guy was not there. I have received service from this location several times and all were good but the service couple days ago and rescheduling left me not so much satisfied.

The entire staff at Griffin Ford was phenomenal. Especially Steve O. They went above and beyond to work with my crazy schedule. They scoured the city looking for the right part to get me back on the road quickly. And I would return for additional vehicle maintenance here without any hesitation. They are the definition of a customer-focused team.

I recently purchased a car from Griffin Ford. I worked with Wayne, who had excellent knowledge of the lot and all the bells and whistles that each vehicle had to offer. What I appreciated most about Wayne is if he was not 200% positive on an answer to a question, he went to great lengths to get the answer for me. I LOVE my car, and Wayne is to thank!

This is for the service department, I'm not sure they want customers. I purchased my truck new from this dealership a couple years ago. Called to get a quote for new brakes, the woman I spoke to wouldn't give me a quote and told me that they weren't the best price for brakes and I should try an independent shop. Just a couple of days ago I called for a quote for new tires. The gentleman I spoke to told me he could only give me a price if I gave him the VIN# of the vehicle and he couldn't look up the size without it. That's just bizarre because I can look it up on numerous websites with just the year, make, model, and trim.

I wish I could remember the gentleman's name that helped me with everything. He was great. The service was fast and surprisingly didn't break my bank. I always come to Griffen when I summer up here for all my car needs. And will keep coming back! You guys rock!

Went in on the last day of the month looking to learn more about the current Ford product line and our sales associate Matt was very laid back to give us more information. We left with a few pamphlets, talked it over, and were able to come back in a few days later and picked up right where we left off. We picked a car, the process was pretty quick, we were handed to finance and were on our way in about 2 hours. Their group did a good job explaining our options, pricing was all up front, and let us know of our service going forward. Would go through the process of buying a car through them in the future.

Griffin Ford "updated" the software in my car without asking for my approval. They just did it. I screwed up my clock and date settings and didn't take the time to restore it to the current time/date. Not pleased!!

Talked to the service manager and offered to rectify the clock/date settings to make things right. I said it would be inconvenient for me to travel the 30+ minute drive for the 5 minutes it would take to adjust the settings. I said I would take care of it. He said the service techs were informed to check these items when upgrading the software.

Stopped in just to look at the ford f-150 not even thinking about buying just to see how much leg room was in the truck as I am 6 foot 7 tall. Aisha came out to talk to me I told her I was a dodge guy and just wanted to see what ford had to offer. She was very knowledgeable. She agreed to get the keys just so I could look inside. After talking to her I took it out for a test drive. She is the main reason that I now own my first ford. What I liked about her was that if she didn't know the answer to the questions I ask she went and got an answer from someone else not like the dealer down the road that just made stuff up. Griffen ford is lucky to have a salesperson like her. By the way I am 57 years old. Thank you Aisha for your service. Dennis Goodchild

Sales was great. Kirby was easy to work with and to negotiate the purchase with. Detailing and cleaning of the new truck was disappointing. Took too long and was sub par. I ended up taking it to a car wash.

Still need to hear from the dealership on a date to get the bed sprayed. This is a dealer owe and was part of the deal on purchase. Hope to see an email soon to schedule this.
