Fun, challenging course with some beautiful views. Friendly staff and Steve Stricker's home course....what more do you need!
Excellent golf course and the home course of Steve Sticker. The front 9 is only a par 34, so I subtracted a star to avoid offending hardcore golfers...
Great place. Great Club House. Big league course both 9's with variety of challenge levels. Happy to have discovered TCC.
Shows the Full Jenson street as still belonging to city and that the club property does not include road to the tower! thieves
Such a great experience to play 36 with the boys here.
First time there yesterday. Although the course was decent the cart paths are pretty rough. And where are the port a pots on the course? Tee boxes need some work, but overall not bad. Just my opinion.
Hilly Hilly course, some holes you're shooting blind over hills so if you have control issues, maybe grab a spotter.
Very fun and challenging course. Reasonable prices, too.
Home of golf pro Steve Stricker! Bring your big sticks this is a very challenging course with length and many many hazards to overcome. The greens will offer your Putter and extreme Challenge especially on the back half. Very friendly service and staff be sure to call ahead for tee times.
I love this place lace it has great service and a great golf course
First time at this course. A fairly straight course, with a lot of elevation change and mature trees to make it challenging. Fall rate deals are off the chain. I highly recommend checking out this course if you haven't yet.
Golf course was in great shape and staff was congenial.
The course is pretty standard. Steve Stricker designed some of the holes on the back nine I am told.
They are always willing and able to help their customers!!!
Nice little course and improving everytime visited. Old 9 has some fun quirky holes. 3.5 stars.
Fun golf course. Pretty hilly. Challenging but fair. Staff is professional.
The course wasn't what it was 4 year's ago.The fairways were inconsistent with long and short grass. Most of the tee boxes were in very rough shape and the greens were spotty in places. There was no ranger overseeing play which was slow and even dangerous at times, our 2 some was hit into on a couple of holes. They would have to make some major changes before we would come back to play that course again.
Very friendly staff. You should call ahead for tee times. The course it great for any level golfer with holes than really span the range of difficulties. Back nine is a little more open than the front generally speaking. Cart, green and beer prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.
To appreciate the Towne Country Club you need to start at the beginning.
Originally called Fulton Station, Edgerton was named after a 19th-century businessman, Elisha W. Edgerton, or his brother Benjamin Hyde Edgerton, a civil engineer. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Edgerton was the center of the tobacco industry in southern Wisconsin. At one time, there were as many as 52 tobacco warehouses dotting the streets of Edgerton.
Long story short, The Towne Country Club is the premiere golf course in Edgerton, WI.
Has very good food. The golf course is great can really put a golfer to The Challenge on the back nine. Come join us. See you on the Green.
The worst experience I ve ever had on a golf course. When we got there we were told it was walking only because of the rain. After some discussion with my group we decided that was fine and started walking the course. My buddy asked if they had any pull carts and they didn t. When we get on the course none of the water stations have water. Considering the rain they got, the course was very dry so it didn t make sense why there were no carts allowed. Fast forward to the 5th home and we start seeing a couple of carts driving around. As we proceeded to holes 6-8, we continued to see more carts on the course, so as a group we said at least we d be able to take a cart on the back 9. While we were on the 9th hole, 20 carts went out for a shotgun start. We finish the 9th hole, go to the clubhouse, ask to rent a cart, and were told no carts are allowed on the course today. Conveniently the pro shop manager and just taken a cart out on the course so we were talking to the two employees behind the bar. Dumbfounded we said we just saw 20 carts go onto the course and they said that is for our couples league. We asked what is the difference and all we were told was they are the only ones allowed to have a cart. Beyond frustrated, two of our group left and two continued on for a couple holes. As if the clubhouse manager was taunting us, him and another employee made multiple loops past us in a cart. I will never be back to this course and I will make it my mission to deter any other golfers from golfing there as well.
Great course and great staff!! Highly recommend visiting
Challenging course. Back 9 was designed by Steve Stricker; local native pro to edgerton. Greens are normally kept up well. Some holes have nice landscaping. Clubhouse is ok.
90F on a Sunday - no water on the course, no drink cart, no warning when leaving the clubhouse that such standard services would not be available or provided
I had my going away party here before I moved to Indiana, layer out wonderfully and great service
Nice course, particularly back nice, only issue is you need water at the water stations! They were all empty! Unacceptable, particularly on a hot/streamy day.
