VERY RUDE, VERY BAD, AND VERY AGGRESIVE WITH CUSTOMERS! Today I went into the dealership to buy a 2012 Toyota Highlander. The lady who helped me out was Shanna and we fixed a price and so I called my brothers to bring the money. Before they arrived Shanna got off work and handed the stuff over to her partner Michael who is the biggest liar in the world. I was waiting for my brothers while sitting in the lobby and every 5-10 min. Michael keeps on bugging me so finally I go and sit in my car. After my brothers arrive my big brother goes up to the car and notices a small dent none of us noticed. Then we ask Michael about it and he doesn't know anything about it. Ok then he starts tapping my big brother and he tells him stop touching me and Michael gets mad and goes inside. After we enter the lobby Michael's boss tells us that he will not sell the car because we apparently CUSSED at Michael. Then his boss calls his boss and tells him that we had a cussing situation and we cussed at Michael. After that we left the place and before anyone else goes to but this highlander it's a very bad car. And the whole dealership is very very rude and mean.

They would only look at my 2015 Jeep if I agreed to pay $180 per issue. My Jeep is still under warranty, which didn't make a difference to the service technician. This price seemed ridiculous for a broken gas cap. Wouldn't recommend this establishment.

Bad Service. A bald white guy showed me the car k was looking into. As soon as I said I lived out of town and just looking into a vehicle he walked back to his office and pretended to be busy. I custom ordered my jeep online and is getting delivered to me. Way better that this dealership.

I live in Orange County and made the trek to Ellis Dodge Chrysler Jeep to get my Fiat Abarth serviced after a few negative experiences with dealers in my area.

It was definitely worth my time and the drive. Eder and his team were top notch. They were courteous, prompt, and were able to resolve the issues on my car that dealers in my area weren t able to.

They have certainly earned my business going forward and I highly recommend! Thanks again Eder!!!!

Best experience in SERVICE DEPARTMENT is with JAVIER! Do not see anyone else.I've been taking my cars to him for more than five years now. Now my friends and family do as well. I've tried two other service advisors and they were so bad. No communication skills and they are very dismissive toward me. My father tried the same guys and they made him wait 45 minutes JUST TO PULL HIS CAR OUT after a routine oil change! The salesman are great, cashiers and drivers are lovely also, but JAVIER is the best. His honesty and professional demeanor make me feel that I can trust his opinion with what needs to be done to my vehicle and that I'm not being ripped off in the process.

I brought my Jeep Gladiator there with a small steering issue. They kept my Jeep there for 4 days, without fixing anything. On the report they marked that the problem was fixed and it was only loose screw. When I came back and gave them second chance to really fix it, they offered me a small rental car in which I couldn't fit all my work tools from my gladiator. Bottom line, it cost me three trips to this dealershit, waste of time, and my Gladiator still has the same problem.
STAY AWAY !

Cooling system flush, 1 day later engine light com...

Cooling system flush, 1 day later engine light comes on, 2 days after that engine hot light on. Pulled off fwy in a coolant stream cloud! A hose wasn't connected properly! Reconnected hose and refilled reservoir, engine light off and everything good. Then engine light back on 5 days later, in shop for 14 days and $$$!!! Are the mechanics smokin something? I'm worried if all the bolts are going to be where they should be and TIGHT!!

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Here's an in-depth explanation as to why.

Last week my husband attempted to lease a new vehicle, the young salesman who helped us was pleasant and easy to work with, no issue on that front. Unfortunately to say the management of this dealership lacks tact, respect and professionalism is a fairly apt description.

After sitting down and going through the numbers, receiving an offer for his trade-in vehicle, negotiating and basically just waiting for the paperwork to be done up our salesman came out and said there was a small problem - our CA Registration said it was not transferrable and our vehicle could not be sold in CA as it was bought out of State and it was an emissions issue. We were totally confused, the car is only 7 years old and meets the emissions requirements. We were advised we should try selling it at CarMax or perhaps taking it out of State. We left, and spent time researching to learn this was absolute rubbish (as we had thought). After speaking with DMV, they confirmed this to be incorrect and had no idea why a dealership would blatantly advise mistruths. Apparently this happens to many of their customers and their customers frequently would sell their cars elsewhere then go back. Unfortunately for the dealership, we don't blindly believe what we are told, especially when we believe it to be lies.

So, I took the time to email one of the Owners (Joe), and the Finance Manager (Jackson) querying what on earth was going on. I was not snide, I was not bitter, I commended the salesman and reiterated we had no issue with him however the information he was being fed to pass on to us blatant mistruths and misleading and asked if they would please explain. Neither of the recipients bothered to reply, it has been over a week.

Since then, the salesman has followed up with us multiple times. He explained that the issue was in fact his Uncle (Joe) was not keen on the trade because he would have to have it sitting in the back of his lot for 90 days before he could sell it. We followed up on this to be told again this scenario was not correct, despite the vehicle initially being purchased in another State.

So after several hours of sitting in the dealership, three visits and a few hours utilizing Google then calling the DMV etc, we've come to one conclusion. This dealership is ridiculous and values no ones time. Today the salesman confirmed his Uncle was simply not interested in the Trade In Vehicle.

Here's a bit of advice to the Management Team of this dealership: Take a course on how to openly communicate with your customers rather than assuming everyone will believe fairy tales you concoct. Car salesmen already have a bad rep, you can't even have the spine to simply say "We'd like your business, but at this time I'm sorry we aren't interested in your Trade" Seriously, would that have been so hard? Whatever the reason we would have either thanked you for your time and walked away, or potentially worked an alternative solution. As it stands, the result of your inability to effectively communicate with customers is this negative review - which will be cross-posted on other social media review platforms - and I will never suggest anyone waste their time with your dealership.

I took the time to write this and publish it because I value my time and hopefully future consumers are aware of your "management techniques" and don't waste their time dealing with such BS.

Looking at past reviews, I'm certain you will reply with some form of deflection. The fact of the matter is, I have the email I sent along with a LOT of text messages from your own salesman, including the one received today confirming you simply weren't interested in the Trade (no, I did not text him, he texted me to apologize and wish us well; the poor guy is just trying to make a living and you're even wasting his time). So please, feel free to deflect to save face.

I recently financed a 2016 Dodge Challenger with this dealership. By far one of the best experiences I've ever had at a dealership. Jerry (sales) made finding the right Challenger that fit my budget a fun experience. I walked in with a budget in mind and he showed me around the lot, looked at a variety of different trim models, test drove some vehicles, and in the end, made sure to get me into the right Challenger with all the premium packages I was looking for. He was very patient through the whole process and not once made me feel pushed into any deal I didn't like. He made me feel in complete control of all aspects of the end deal not like other salesman at other dealerships that sometimes tend to undermine and belittle their customers. After all negotiations we're done, I then finalized the deal with Jeff (financing). Jeff also made this portion of the dealership experience a good one. He managed to get me and even better end deal than expected. He explained the final finance details thoroughly and made signing for my new vehicle an easy process. Thank you Jeff & Jerry for the great experience and for getting me into this amazing machine that has me driving with a smile everyday.

Went in for what I was told would be a 45 minute smog check and ended up waiting over 2 and a half hours, only for them to tell me they had to keep the car overnight. On top off all of this, they refused to rent me a car to use in the meantime.

I took my Grand Cherokee in for a problem with a shifter and a rattle from the back that I had already asked them to fix twice unsuccessfully.. I also had a Fiat with a lease that was ending. I had been told that they don't give loaner cards until diagnosing the problem. Fine, I didn't really need a loaner since I was leasing a Fiat that I would be returning shortly. Figured I'd drop off the Fiat and pick up the Jeep and go home.

The Jeep took about a week to fix. It took them three days just to figure out the problem. Fine, but after realizing they wouldn't be able to fix the car for a long time, you'd think I'd at least get a call asking if I'd like a loaner. Nope. Finally got a text the car was ready. Drove there to pick up the car and drop off the Fiat. That's where the fun began.

They told me that I couldn't drop off my FIAT. The one guy who apparently does lease returns, was supposedly so busy that he didn't have the 10 minutes to do the simple paperwork so that I could drop off one car and go home with the other. I've dropped off 11 leased cars at the end of the lease, not once did I have a problem. But this place is just that special. Not surprisingly, the rattle was not fixed in the Jeep either. I will not use this dealer for any reason whatsoever.

This place has probably the worst customer service...

This place has probably the worst customer service I have experienced from any business establishment. After pulling up to the Service Area in my car, I was sadly disappointed by the neglect I received from the employees. No one bothered to approach me to get any information from me, and I saw several men in different uniforms all chatting with each other, and totally ignoring me. When I finally got out and approached the counter, the man there wasn t doing anything but standing there. Long story short, he showed me another guy behind the counter across from him, and that guy (Marvin Melara) told me they didn t service my type of car. This was totally unnecessary because I distinctly told them over the phone what type of car I have, and I was told that they do service that make/model of car. Anyway, I left feeling humiliated and bad about my visit there.

Just left Ellis Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Glendale and can not believe the rude service we received from Joe and Anabel. They sent us a notice of a buy-back event (good only through Memorial Day 2013), so we came in with a seven year old Chrysler 300 (bought and serviced only at their dealership), and were interested in trading up for a new one. They advertised that they would buy our car back, even if we didn't buy a new one. When we hesitated trading in for a new one today, they rudely told us they weren't interested in dealing with us. I recommend that you do not EVER shop there!! But if you are desperate to buy a new Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep in Glendale, just do NOT deal with Joe or Anabel! Bad attitudes from start to finish!

Beware, this dealership will charge $190 to "diagnose the problem" if you don't get the car fixed by them. You can go to autozone and use a diagnostic tool computer for free to plug into the car to diagnose the problem yourself. It tells you the code then google search it. They charge DOUBLE for car parts and service. Take your car to another dealership (if under warranty) or your local shop for half the price.

The keep changing the numbers around and no respect for customers time. They had me drive all the way from Van Nuys to Glendale to buy from them when they didn't even have the item on the vehicle that I wanted. They lied to me and wasted my time, bunch of crooks!!! I called two other dealerships in the area, and they don t do this. It s your car, and you buy it as is . Don t let Ryan who puts the shady in car sales talk you into this money grab.

I visited this Family Dealership on Saturday, January 2016, and was greeted by a sales man, I now know is Scott Wagner. I asked about buying a Jeep and he pointed to "ONE" jeep in front of me and pretty much said "This is what I have, take it or leave it" I asked to see a "basic" Jeep and he said "I don't have one" and his then suggestion to me was "Go to another dealership".... I was Floored!! When I asked for a Manger, he asked me "For What?" He wore dark sunglasses, I couldn't see his eyes to properly communicate with him, etc... He was rude and unprofessional! On the other hand, Joe Piane was very nice and really helped my daughter and I shop for cars.

I decided to take my new Jeep Renegade here for an...

I decided to take my new Jeep Renegade here for an oil change yesterday because they have an "Express Service" option where you don't even have to make an appointment. I got there and they told me it would probably take about an hour. So I was waiting...and waiting. I noticed on the invoice they gave me (this was all free because of my Jeep Wave membership) that there was also tire rotation on there. I did not ask them to do that as I had just put new tires and wheels and a lift kit on my car. They never asked me either. When I got there I told them all I want is an oil change. So I'm waiting for them to bring my car around and people seem to be looking for it. That's strange. Someone then drives it into the garage where I go to get it and they tell me they needed to test drive it after the tire rotation to make sure everything's good. (When does anyone have to test drive after a tire rotation?) They drove it 2 miles I noticed. So I took it home and was looking at it more closely, I have one wheel that has a little spot on it that I can't get off and I see that it is in the same spot. Clearly they did not rotate tires even though they told me they did (without my permission) and said they had to test drive it because of that. Then I was looking under the hood, my engine is dusty but there are no hand prints or anything and it looks like nothing has been touched. There is also a skid plate on my car that has to be removed in order to change the oil and again no sign of anything being touched.

I am so frustrated with these dealerships. The people working there were polite and seemed friendly but I was there about 2.5 hours and I honestly feel like someone just decided to take my car for a ride to lunch and didn't actually do anything. So be careful if you go here! If you can watch them work on your car that would be the best thing to do. I won't be going back to the Glendale dealership. I usually go to Simi Valley Jeep (they are the best if you have a modified vehicle) but I needed to get an oil change done quickly without an appointment. And now I'm not even sure if I actually got an oil change.

Terrible Customer Service Experience - Major Delay...

Terrible Customer Service Experience - Major Delay & horrendous pricing

My Jeep was scheduled for an appointment to
- Align the 2 front wheels
- Change a turn signal bulb changed
- Have the transmission checked out for problems while shifting gears
- Have my Bluetooth connection checked out as it keeps crashing

Having left my car with them from Wednesday morning, I received a call on Thursday afternoon saying that they changed the light bulb but didn't have a chance to look at the rest. However they were going to push and try and have it ready by tomorrow.

Next day comes up, no call... I called them up at 3pm, no answer, I left a voicemail - unanswered.

I did the same thing the following day, Saturday. No one picked up, no answer to my voicemail.

I called up today (Monday) to see what the hell was going on - After being put on hold for 10min, the service rep finally was on the phone and talked me through what they have been working on so far:

"...So it looks like we've changed the light bulb, we are planning to have the front wheels aligned. It looks like the Bluetooth still is non responsive & we didn't have a chance to look at the transmission yet."

The car has been in service for 6 days & that's your accomplishment?
Thanks Paul, thanks Jeep of Glendale, CA. And you're seriously trying to charge $400 for that evaluation? Must be a joke!

Took my car here to get a new key and figured I would get an oil change while I was there. It took about 3 hours, but I was told that it would be am hour. The service guy Marvin is really nice and he is very honest which is what you need when you take your car in. If you go to the dealer than this is not a bad place.

I wanted to thank the service department for a great job, We had horrible experience in other dealer where we couldn't get a call back from managers after leaving messages to a great experience.

Al & David you guys were great actually calling us to give us updates & even checking on the repair after we picked up the car if we were happy.

This is what will make people loyal to a brand the experience & you guys did a great job.

If I could I would rate them in negative stars we bought a used car chevrolet captive 2013 3 months ago. We hadn't had any issues until last night when the car wouldn't turn on. The battery was defective my husban took it back to where we purchased the vehicle from which is this crappy place. They had my car the whole day just to tell us it would be 300 dollars to replace the battery. Spoke to GM of the dealer and he said that we were out of warranty and all they could so is discount 50 dollar which was the profit they were supposedly making !!! I have never had this happened battery dying out within 3 months do they not check their vehicles!!!! I paid 192 for a new battery from their parts department which is over priced they suck they didn't try to help us at all. I was actually going to go back and get another car because Jeff was super nice but after this unfortunate and stressful event I will never go back! You guys sucks to say the least and your GM is an ass hole

George at Ellis Dodge Chrysler Jeep was very professional and because of him we left with a great experience. We were very happy with the purchase of our new gladiator and we have George to thank.
I would like to add that the Finance Manager Jeff was not patient with us the least bit. He rushed us through paperwork and did not take the time to answer any questions in a reasonable manner. Would have just liked to have seen Jeff more patient with first time buyers. Besides that however the experience went well and their promise on the appropriate vehicle markup was kept.

This dealership is the the worst of the worst with...

This dealership is the the worst of the worst with their CRIMINAL REPAIR they did to us. Who refuses to not work with gov DMV INVESTIGATORS on complaint!? They did. Investigator was shocked and now this dealership has a black mark on their record and our resolve is go to the court. This obviously is not their first rodeo with LOS ANGELES DMV BAR it seems to me. They even refused to discuss with investigating producer of popular Consumer TV show in town.

They are not even in the association of dealers for California.

Refuse to work with DMV/BAR on complaint, refuse to finish work - the head of the whole dealership is included in this mix stunning the way they operate and what they have left us with for our jeep.

This issue has been sent several times to the heads of the dealership including Jerry, manager of auto repair, Paul intake are simply liars. Jerry told BAR investigator he didn t know of this and i had several one on one conversations with him as did the insurance co. The other business is Mario from Star Auto.

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING A NEW CAR OR REPAIRING AN AUTO: Don t just RUN! Because if they are doing it to us they will do it to others.

We are left with a non legal and non drivable jeep. A big mess to our cherished one owner/have all records classic jeep.

After 1.5 years to this day of dealing with them - the jeep cannot get tagged. It s completely illegal to drive as it is and they refuse to work on it.

The jeep should probably have been totaled but the dealership over looked issues and happily took 4,000 fix it money from Gieco did this dreadful work and left us upside down. This jeep was left to this Glendale dealership and yet Star Auto was issued the check. That's weird.

After they said it was done they told us they could not replace the slider for seat - which there was nothing wrong with it to begin with - Mario just threw it away. They had been already paid for the accident work so I guess who cares right?

WELL RIGHT NOW:
1. SEAT HOLDER IS MISSING: Slider passengers seat is missing which was fine from before the accident. Anyone sitting in it on a quick stop will go flying thru the window - illegal to drive. They got their money and said they couldn't fix it after the fact.
2. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT: can t get tagged since this and they refuse to deal with it. They fabricated 3 different stories on 3 different times in shop why and could be fixed for extra costs: at: 300.00, 1,400, 400. We fixed all these issues out side of dealership and check engine light is still on - leads us to the oil in the dash from accident which will probably never stop leaking on the wiring in dash from accident is causing issue.
3. HEAD LIGHTS: The head lights go off every time one hits a bump. So completely dangerous and illegal to drive.
4. UPHOLSTERY GLUE: Mario s upholstery job is coming unglued when weather is hot. They said it was the glue they used.
5. They ripped the rubber boot on stick shift and never replaced it
6. We have lost a lot of time off work. So stressful.

After 5 times back and forth on them fixing it One time we got it back and the steering wheel fell off!!! Who does this kind of work and to a jeep.

We were under duress with this accident, ending up hospital from stress and victimized by these creeps. WE ARE YOUR POSTER CHILDREN FOR AUTO REPAIR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. KEEP YOUR MONEY IN THE BANK until you research and then buy from a reputable company.

I cold called about a Grand Cherokee. Sako got on the line and explained one left of exactly what I was looking for but an offer on it. Would let me know what happens. Car available. Showed up at 9:50 AM Sunday before they opened and Sako was there. Explained what I wanted with my trade in and payment on new car. Deal done in an hour. No hassle. Great place. Great people. Great car.

DO NOT GO HERE! I went to get my turn signal replaced and get my brakes checked. The technician called me and said that the wiring had "melted" and I would need to pay $400 to fix the driver and rear signals. He also told me I needed new brakes and it would cost $1,200 to replace them. I bit the bullet on the signals for safety reasons, but I knew my brakes were not that bad. The guy was very frank and said I only had about 15% left on the brakes. Lies. I took my Jeep to Firestone (a VERY trustworthy company). They told me my brakes were actually fine and had about 50% life left but all the pads were good. They also said I had about 5,000 more miles before I needed to replace them. This Jeep dealership flat out lied to me to get money. I assume they also lied about the "melted wiring" as well. If you want to save your money, do NOT go here.

I don t usually leave reviews but since I ve got three cars from this dealership I thought I should share my experience. The staff is very respectful and polite, always ready to assist with finding the right car for you. Manager Al s been really helpful as well as the rest of the guys. What I like about this dealership is that they don t try to rush you with anything like the other car dealerships I ve been too
I d definitely recommend this place if you re looking for Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat or Used car, they have huge selection of that too

The purchase experience from beginning to end was wonderful. First time purchasing a vehicle from Glendale Dodge Chrysler Jeep and it was a smooth and fast purchase. Besides the smooth purchase, Mike was very professional in every aspect of the transaction. No other dealer of its class was able to offer me what Mike at Glendale Dodge Chrysler Jeep was able to. I definitely purchase from them my next Dodge Chrysler Jeep vehicle.

Service was fast, a three star because they try to charge me after never Informing me there was a charge. They called and said oil change was free, but never said rotation was not. I think the guy forgot and try to cover it with that phone call.smh

Made an appointment two weeks in advance 9:30 esti...

Made an appointment two weeks in advance 9:30 estimated time for completion 2 hours. Bring car in they say finished sometime in the afternoon by 4 pm, We are told appointment was only guaranteeing a spot not actual work yet they are taking walk in before us. 5pm comes no word from shop i call them they tell me that they had to order the part i ask why would they need that since the appointment was made 2 weeks in advance shouldn't they have the part? He tells me they didn't know what was wrong with it till they took it apart i told him that the original appointment was made with notes detailing what needed to be fixed from one of their service tech's he checks computer and right there in the notes it had the exact part they needed to get. In other words they either didn't check the notes or were lying about the part and didn't finish the car at the agreed upon time he apologizes then i say "that answers that question but why were we not called about the car?" After an apology and a comp on an oil change he promised to pick us up the next day to get the car back to us when it was finished proceed to 3:30 the next day no call no ride and when i call he says the car is ready.
Tldr
Sloppy follow through, appointment was worthless, 2 days to switch a windshield washer fluid reservoir.

I have to echo the review of the previous poster. My experience with the dealership, and especially with my salesman Mike Walden, couldn't have been smoother. I ordered my car from the factory and was kept informed of the status of my vehicle at every step in the process. I even called Mike one night and asked when he thought my car would arrive. He said to hang on a minute then came back on the line and told me the exact location of my car -- on a train in the middle of Kansas!! Three days later I was driving it. Major props to Mike for being an exceptionally honest follow-through individual and also a shout out to Jeff in Finance who was nothing like the hard-sell guys one usually encounters in that situation. All in all, a wonderful experience, and I recommend them highly.

Stay far, far, far. The most frustrating dealership to deal with. It wasn't just one thing but almost every time I visit, something comes up, no one follows up, or just plain incompetence. I would list a laundry list of problems but the biggest one was when I lost my keys. Yes, that's my fault. I was quoted 2 to 3 weeks before it arrives. I was resigned to this fact.

Apparently my key arrived the day after. August 30th. Now I know this was a holiday weekend so I did not expect them to give me a call during the weekend. But it is now September 9th, and I'm just finding out now that the key arrived almost 10 days ago. Yet a whole business week passed and no one called, followed up on me, or anything of the like. I basically took Uber and spent alot of money trying to get around as my job requires me to drive everywhere.

This dealership makes an already frustrating experience (car maintenance, parts and repairs) frustratingly alot more difficult to a whole new level. It's pretty amazing, to be quite honest with you.

MY HUSBAND TOOK OUR JEEP TO THIS ELLIS GLENDALE LOCATION FOR SERVICE OIL CHANGE ETC. BEFORE LEAVING OUR HOUSE HE CHECKED THE OILS AND THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY LOW WHICH IS WHY WE TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE. AFTER ABOUT 2 HOURS OF WAIT, HE GOT THE JEEP BACK AND THE CAR WAS REALLY HOT INSIDE SEEMED AS IF IT HAD BEEN PARKED WITH CLOSED WINDOWS. BEFORE LEAVING THE DEALER MY HUSBAND CHECKED THE OIL FILTER AND IT WAS STILL LOW. NO OILS HAD BEEN CHECKED LET ALONE CHANGED!!!! HE OBVIOUSLY MADE A BIG DEAL AT THIS DEALER ASKED FOR A MANAGER AND WE WERE TOLD NO MANAGER WAS ON DUTY AT THIS TIME. AFTER THE FUSS THEY FINALLY DID THE OIL CHANGE IN FRONT OF MY HUSBAND FACE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. WHAT KIND OF MECHANICS ARE BEING HIRED HERE?? NOT A TRUST WORTHY DEALER OR WORKERS I SHOULD SAY!!!

Went to this dealer to look at a pre-owned vehicle they had listed for sale with my husband. Once we got there and located the salesman who we spoke with on the phone. Located the vehicle and upon further inspection of the vehicle my husband found sand in the backseat. He also lifted up the carpet slightly and found rusted bolts. Clearly we weren't buying a vehicle that had either sat on a beach or was in a flood. Ask for a car fax report on ant pre-owned vehicle you are interested in just to be safe.
