I love these people. My air conditioner went out, it was in the high 80s and it was miserable inside. I called Genz-Ryan and they had someone at my house within hours, not days. They fixed the problem, the air conditioner is working smoothly, and I am happy.

The service received from Genz Ryan was terrific! They were prompt, polite, friendly & explained everything that they were doing. Shout out to Alberto, Dalton, Joe, Trey, Josh & Shelby! You are all great! I appreciate the service you provided - keep up the good work!

Came out when requested but their pricing is insane. Charged 500 bucks for an A/C fix...only to have system go back out same day. Never read the pressures correctly or for any amount of time, and if system went out in same day, leak must have been large.

Received furnace and A/C quotes from many companies--theirs was 1/3 higher than all others. All you are paying for is their commercials which are lousy as well.

Tyler Unger did an awesome job. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient.

Noah F. was a life saver. My father just got out of the hospital and I had no air conditioning. I got an immediate response and appointment.

Dan (with Genz-Ryan) was timely, neat and showed great expertise. He explained the issue in an easy to understand way and took care of the situation.

If I could give Genz negative stars, I would. Last year they sent out a tech for routine maintenance. Ten minutes afrer he left, my brand new AC stopped working. After suffering a heated day/night, it was fixed. This year I advised them somethimg was wrong with the AC as it was drawing significant electricity. They sent out a tech, fresh out of school and unaccompanied by anyone, who failed to diagnose anything. When he left, it took 12 hours to cool 4 degrees. They returned - this time a more senior, very knowledgeable tech and found the coolant to be low. They fixed the leak, recharged/filled and left. I had my ducts cleaned shortly thereafter by another company. They advised me my blower motor was filthy and needed cleaning! I just paid Genz to have that done! Once again, I had to call and have them return to complete something I already paid to have done! If you choose Genz, do so at your own peril. Make sure they do not train their techs alone and at your expense...or better yet - go elsewhere. The tech who returned twice for damage control was awesome...but 2 out of three isnt great success. Im moving on

This place is a rip off. Hired them to look at my plugged sewer system, quoted me $5500.00 and I asked them for a breakdown, couldn't give it to me. I doubt the owner of this company knows how their service department rips people off.....will never NEVER, call them again, except to call them a scammer. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

Loren B & Mark L were a blessing.
Their professionalism, knowledge, respect, kindness and enthusiasm made their visit a joy.
We had two other company's come out and Loren & Mark were the only one who said " do you mind if we take a look and see what we can do. They did and they fixed our Air conditioner. It works beautifully and they did not try to sell us a new air conditioner and furnace.
To us it was a miracle and a blessing .

04 March, 2020,,,,Electrician Andrew Schreiner did a very Thorough Job Inspecting all of my Electrical systems ,,and replaced 9 bad burnt smelling Switches , and upgraded my Electrical panel with a Surge Protector, and sealed incoming wires to reduce Corrosion !!! .....thank you Genz-Ryan HE IS the BEST Employee !!! also Zach Came out and checked out my HVAC cooling system...very knowledgeable,,and gave me EXCELLENT Service !!! thanks ZACH !!!

Last week Dalton Reynolds from Genz-Ryan came out to do our annual furnace/heating inspection. We were very impressed with his friendliness and professional manner in which he did his work.

After completing his inspection, he showed me what he had inspected and observed, asked a couple of additional questions regarding my thoughts on his findings, and left some instructions on continued owner maintenance that are important. He did not try to up-sell me on anything, which I appreciated!

We asked Dalton about his background, training, and experience with Genz-Ryan, and were very impressed with Dalton as a person. I look forward to working with him again.

Our plumber couldn't have been more knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience and I would use this company again.

I have used Genz-Ryan for electrical and plumbing and I am thoroughly impressed. Kelsi rewired our kitchen and replaced an old electrical panel and made our home safe again. We request Kelsi whenever we have electricity issues! The Best!

Andrew at Genz-Ryan was very professional and did a great job. The only reason for 3 stars is that they charged $440 to install one GFCI outlet and it took about 5 minutes to install. Considering you can buy a GFCI outlet for $15-$20 I would say $440 is kind of ridiculous... If they charge that much for one outlet I can t imagine what they charge for more complex services.

Ryan M. repaired a gas line with a weld. He was excellent and made the repair quickly, professionally, with knowledge and skill.

Had another great experience with Joel. He really helped explain the options and guided me towards the best solution. He even fixed a few miscellaneous other small plumbing issues for us as a bonus. Thank you so much!

Great service, love that they send pic and name of tech before the appointment. Noah was great, made me more knowledgeable about the hvac system, and helped me make good decisions. second tech Zac was also super nice.

Matt came into decipher what was going on with my plumbing. Matt was thorough in his analysis of my initial problem as well giving me valuable information on my water quality. I was given several options to fix my issues and will be following up to get all these issues remediated. Matt was a knowledgeable professional and I feel comfortable going forward with Genz-Ryan as my plumbing company of choice.

Alex Breuer just fixed our sink pipes today. He was on-time, efficient, friendly, understanding, and transparent. He offered us a variety of different service tiers. 10/10 would call again.

We had our fall maintenance performed today. Ryan, the service technician performed maintenance procedures and recommended that we upgrade our HVAC system with a high performance variable speed motor. I had a service call to fix a small leak in a water softener. Fast, friendly, and professional service. Very low pressure. The tech explained all options and was not pushy. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because they stated that I needed to replace the entire valve assembly. After making a call to the manufacturer, I discovered that I could simply replace a single piece of the assembly. Their repair quote was approximately $600 (if I remember correctly). However, I was able to order the replacement part and DIY for just under $100. I would not hesitate to contact them in the future, but I felt their rates were somewhat high.

Justin did a great job thoroughly explaining the service that we were receiving. He was friendly and efficient. I'm very pleased with the service Genz-Ryan provided.

Dan arrived within the time frame scheduled, and proceeded to do a check up of the heating system. There were a couple of problems, which he pointed out and explained the consequences of not addressing them. He then explained what could be done to make our system more efficient and cleaner. Several options were presented and he explained what each would do and what each option would cost. He left the information For us to decide what we want to do. Dan was very professional in his dealings with us, and we would be pleased to have him back again.

I have been without A/C for the past week, waiting on them to come and repair it since 8:00 a.m. This would be the 5th attempt to repair it... Quick to install, bad to repair. ADVICE...DO NOT HIRE!!

I had a water heater replaced and a small utility sink installed, and a toilet flush repaired. I was charged$ 4972.00. I had already signed up for a service plan before work began. The following month they sent someone out for a furnace inspection he found two parts to be faulty. He repaired them, so no replacement parts. That was $1100. I had called for more info on the service plan I was told that I could cancel it anytime I wanted. When I tried to cancel I was told that it was a 12-month contract and I either had to pay $507.00 to cancel or keep it for 12 month. I paid the money and found a new one elsewhere.

Stewart Kane came for Plumbing Maintenance check and he was very professional, experienced and respectful. He explained what was expected and checked everything . We would want him to come home for every maintenance check going forward and will recommend his expertise to everyone who need Genz Ryan Services .

Karim is amazing and explained everything to us and also ordered our filters which were not ordered when we set up the contract along with also set up plumbing maintenance which also wasn t set up when we started our contract one month ago , we were charged but we dint get the services which Karim made sure is all set up and made it right . We want him to be our Genz Ryan person Going forward and always want him to come to our home as he is well learned and experienced and give excellent service.

From the scheduling to the completion of service, everyone at Genz-Ryan was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Alex B. was great! He was very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining what needed to be done and completed the job quickly. I hope I don t need their services too often, but I would not hesitate to call them again if the occasion should arise.

He did a great job with our HVAC maintenance. I especially appreciated the patient demonstration and instruction on filter changing for my humidifier and air exchanger. Very professional.

This is the second time I've had Genz-Ryan out; this time for my annual furnace inspection. Noah F called ahead to tell me when he'd be there, arrived in a timely manner, and was extremely thorough and helpful! My furnace was fine but the gas pressure was low and the humidifier shot - Noah gave me some great advice regarding a solution, both expensive and inexpensive options. The Genz-Ryan team members are SO friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend.

Pete was very knowledgeable and gave us wonderful outings to pick from. He was friendly and helpful. He educated along the way. We were very happy with his assistance in picking a new system now that we're home 24/7.
Austin and Trey worked so hard putting in the new system. It isn't easy working in older houses and running into "cute" things prior owners did too cut corners. We now will be comfortable in our home. Thank you!

My technician, Max Yurik, was great, a real sweetie. He was very thorough and patient in explaining the problems he saw and what my various options were to correct them. Love him.

They replaced circuit board on my 2 year old Carrier furnace. Carrier has a 10 year warranty on parts. Bill was $288 for the part with a $100 warranty discount. Time spent including time to go get the part was around 2 hours. Labor charge was $500! NOT HAPPY! Tried many times to talk to someone in management but would never get back to me. Word of mouth can be best and also worst form of advertising. Would never recommend them to anyone.

We have used Genz-Ryan for many years for both new systems as well for service and normal maintenance. They are always courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them.

this is a great company. responsive, intelligent and cost effective. Dave Brown is a wonderful technician who has solved more than a few mysterious plumbing conundrums in our house. And he has a friendly, engaging personality. the whole group is 4 stars or whatever the highest rating is.

Called due to HVAC going out and Tyler came out the same day, walked me through the issues and helped me determine the best solution. Very transparent pricing and low pressure. Very Happy so far!

Great people to work with for plumbing and heating. Used them a number of years ago and didn't hesitate to call them for the projects that needed to be done now. Highly recommend this company and Chad was excellent explaining all options.

Noah F. the service tech was FANTASTIC!!. We had been having various HVAC issues for a while (air exchanger, humidifier, heat pump, thermostat) and he went through things with a fine tooth comb - discovered the problems and fixed them.

Rated this ONE star since the issue I have is with customer service team and the dispatcher. I was specific in my phone request for a tech - I identified the issues I was having and even made guesses as to the cause - I asked for a specialist in the Honeywell IAQ system. I told them no emergency but when they sent someone, I wanted their best since this was a convoluted series of issues and would take real experience to resolve.

The first guy that showed up was very junior, really nice but admitted he couldn't help me much. They sent Noah the next day - but he didn't get all the information I had provided in the initial phone call OR to the first guy they sent. SO...in fact it turns out I did need a new IAQ unit but he didn't have one in the truck - requiring a THIRD visit to finally resolve.

The service windows are about 4 hours and in each case they arrived a the tail of the window so I have invested about 15 hours in my personal time + $1500.00 getting this resolved.

Moral to the story - find out where/when Noah works and get Noah. Don't trust the Genz-Ryan system for proper communications.

Bill was fantastic. He listened to the issue and was very thorough in his analysis. He then provided options and double-checked his work. The company was great to work with from booking the appointment and receiving text and email confirmations; I received another call confirming the appointment and again when the tech was on the way all and all a pleasant experience. I would use them again for future plumbing repairs.

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced with zero flexibility and all attitude. Thank you, Jeff, for your complete inability to provide a level of customer service that doesn t include flack and complete disrespect for your customer.

Absolutely ridiculous they treat their customers this way. All I want is to get what I paid for. An AC system that actually works. And some level of empathy would be appreciated too.

I'm so happy I called Genz Ryan for a simple question. From my first call to my meeting with Loren in our home, I was impressed with each person I encounter. Everyone was respectful, kind and knowledgeable. I felt that Genz Ryan's people really cared and appreciated my business from the very first call. They always returned any text or calls I made and that's important to me.
Loren listened to what we wanted and did not push us into anything we did not want. He was honest with us and I have decided to adopt Loren.

My technician was on-time and courteous. He quickly determined the source of my leak and recommended a solution based on my personal situation. He was able to do same day repair and left the work site clean. He took the initiative to apply available coupons and submit a rebate on my behalf. All in all, I would definitely use Genz-Ryan again.
