It seems that the Garden City area was built with a master plan, the environment is beautiful, and shopping and shopping nearby is very convenient. Hotel service is in place, quiet and comfortable, a wonderful stay. The fly in the ointment is that the air conditioning in winter is somewhat dry.

I attended this location due to friend's wedding.. the place is clean and beautiful. There's an outside patio to sit and wait before the reception. The food at the main dining area was impeccable. The seabass and filet mignon was absolutely Divine. The servers were accommodating. I would love to attend an event here again. It's right across from the LIRR, which was a huge bonus for transportation! I got in and out or there so fast.

If anyone is looking for bargain deals for hotels go over to . made a reservation for a hotel room on there and they had the best rates just about anywhere!

Large rooms. Updated bathroom with waterfall shower head. Upgraded amenities. Mini fridge in the room. Lots of natural sunlight. Picture windows...blackout curtains if you want to sleep. Service was impeccable! There is a fireplace in the lobby with cozy couches. You can dine al fresco. I would definitely stay here again. Tucked away but close to all! Great staff!

Went to the Garden City hotel for a wedding. Overall it was a good night, Great food. The hotel was under some renovations but still was very cleann I wasn't entirely impressed with the staff. A waiter spilt water all over my phone and instead of apologizing he tried to quickly just run away and avoid it. I didn't even end up saying anything since it wasn't damaged or anything, just found it rude. Thought the staff in general would be a lot more friendly/happier being that it is a high end location.

We had lunch there Sunday at the bar and the bartender Kyle was very honest, pleasant and attentive. We met one of the managers, his name is Gary and asked us if everything was ok and if we needed anything he was there for us. The food was excellent which included filet mignon and a ribeye. Grilled to perfection. We also met a very nice couple and became friends. It's a happy place. We will definitely be back.

Classic "old hotel" feel, but completely updated. Service was great, room was large, and although the beds were small they were nice and firm.

Excellent location for a Long Island visit, and easy access to the city by car or by train, which is just across from the hotel!

My grandson and I visited the Polo Lounge restaurant for a late dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive to all our needs. The food was great! My grandson loved his chicken strips and french fries (who wouldn't?!). And I savored my Lobster Bisque (Perfectly Executed) followed by tender aged filet mignon.... (I cannot rate dessert as I was too stuffed to eat it.).

We were attending an event and it was great. Through property was beautiful, the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and the food and drinks were delicious. The property is about a 2 minute walk from the train so it's very convenient.

Sunday brunch is my family favorite here. Everything is offered from fresh oysters, lobsters, steak, everything you can expect from the Garden City Hotel, just like a wedding. the only dislike is the lines, very long lines that for some reason I think can be improved.

The suites on the 6th floor are connected to each other. You'll have a suite with sitting area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and from your sitting area there's a door to the adjacent suite thats locked unless you get side by side suites. Sound carries through this door easily which can be annoying of you have rowdy neighbors. The patio bar outside is amazing

I stayed here for one night recently as I had a meeting nearby. The building looks ok outside and in. Our room seemed in good condition with a spacious comfortable room. There were two dated aspects of the room. The only way to switch on most of the lights in the room was reaching under the lamp shade to get at the switch, nothing on the wall or the base. Also, no table level power outlets that I saw. The WiFi is AT&T wifi and roughly $13/day. The location is good. It is across the street from the Garden City LIRR stop. Also, it is a few blocks walk from a variety of shops, restaurants, and other businesses. The service was friendly. We did not eat in the hotel, so I can't comment on that. The room service prices were expensive but perhaps typical for New York.

The place has seen its best days all behind them. Suggest the structure be reassembled and elsewhere at a later time. Putting me and my date in a parking lot and telling me it's an extension of KING'S Court GO GARY Staff food and service - 5x

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel a few weeks ago. I was referred by a client and couldn't say enough great things about my stay. From the booking experience to when I left, I had a top notch experience. The rooms are amazing - the grounds are amazing - the restaurant is amazing - the staff is amazing! Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone.

Not worth it all! You re better off at the Marriott! I wasn t pleased at all. The penthouse suites are awful I can only imagine the regular bedrooms. It s very outdated and unclean. Sometimes I feel as if hotels need renovation no matter how much they clean it. I didn t feel anything luxurious about the Garden City Hotel. Please don t waste your time or money!

Bedbug ridden place - Stay Away! When I approached concierge about this issue - I was told that they are aware and they recommend to sleep with my clothes on. The quote: "This is NY and bed bugs are very common even in Long Island". I left the next day. No way I paying over $200 per night to stay there.
