Had a wedding in the main room. It was very spacious and we'll decorated. Staff was awesome. Would recommend to someone planning an event

GCH is an iconic hotel and wedding venue. The Sunday brunch is amazing. Everything is always perfect. The GCH pays attention to every detail.

A wonderful hotel, with amazing interiors and exceptional service in the restaurants on the ground floor. The view from my room was rather dismal of a parking lot, but other rooms were much better. Would have been a 5 star review, but for the fact that the rooms were poorly lit.

The facilities are clean, well maintained. However, meeting rooms are very cold and will alternate between extreme cold and blast of hot air. During the humid days, you can really feel it.

Great service from front desk to Keith in Security who was awesome and helped us recover items we left behind (thank you!)

When at the bar & the new speakeasy opening soon make sure Leah is your bartender, this girl mixes drinks like a pro and couldn't be nicer!! Great food at the bar & if Leah is serving you, you will be far from disappointed

First time going there, the hospitality and workers are great and wonderful. Food is so tasty, will be going back there soon....will definitely recommend....mr.matheau, professional supervisor came to the tables and making sure everyone had a spectacular evening

Very nice place and experience. For a historic/ older hotel it's definitely staying just modern enough while maintaining its original comfort and beauty. Service and staff were lovely. Would've given it a 5 star rating but a couple of the amenities in our room were broken.

Very Deceiving & Disgusting, I Stayed In The Penthouse &I Will Never Ever Come Here Again. First The Sheets Had Holes & Little Stains On Them. Then The Bathroom Didn t Have Any Bath Towels. The Housekeeper Came And Handed Me New Sheets As If I Was Supposed To Spread The Bed Myself. I Had To Ask Her To Do It & She Proceeded With An Attitude. I Was Very Disgusted My Whole Trip & My Friend Had The Same Problem With Her Bed On The 7th Floor. Smh This Is Not The Same Hotel I Was At 2 Years Ago.

Excellent food and service. The porterhouse for two was as good as I've had. Sides were equally as good. Of course it does come at a price but it's worth it.

I was here in the summer with my girlfriend just for a local getaway. The room was nice but was overpriced(more than $400) because it was around July 4th holiday. I loved that they had Polo steakhouse by the lobby. Food service was great.. Even though it was ordered very late at night, food was fresh and delicious.
They also had great breakfast setup by the lobby. This place had the best breakfast/lunch ever by far. The concierges at the front desk were very accommodating and showed us which floor was for what.
Anyways, I'd recommend staying here for a night or two if you want to enjoy a nice steak with wine for dinner.

Beautiful hotel, clean, nice size room, terrific service. Attended a wedding in the grand ballroom everything was perfect.

Lovely place to stay in Garden City. Roomy suites, plentiful amenities, great spa and bar/restaurant. Walking distance to town center and other very nice shops and places to dine.

AVOID. I booked and paid in full through Expedia for one night. At check-in they asked for a card for incidentals, but they ended up charging me for a full stay on that card even though I already booked and paid through Expedia. Whatever, not a big deal right, just call them and have them remove the charge. No. It's been over a week and they are not returning my call- they literally have one person on their accounting team. I don't have time to deal with an incompetent business that doesn't understand basic accounting.

We had Easter Sunday brunch. The food was excellent. The table for 2 was awkward and too small. Nothing was provided to clean out hams after eating crab and lobster.

The hotel itself is very nice, but we went to a birthday party in the Polo restaurant and it was perfect!!! The food and especially the service was excellent!

Great city, excellent location, good amenities, hotel is great, staff is super friendly and committed to exceed in the customer satisfaction.

The valet and front was fantastic, after that the room was dirty, the locks and fan didn t work I. The bathroom didn t work, the beds are very hard and the air conditioning failed. The rooms are in need of work, not worth the price.

This is a big and beautiful hotel and/or venue! They sponsor beautiful gatherings and get-togethers. The workers are very friendly and inviting. They welcome people from all over the world to join them and have led some of the biggest politically campaign parties. This place is one of the finest locations in NASSAU COUNTY.

The Rose event was a lot of fun....perfect for a Summer evening

Expense but nice. Charge $12 per day for wifi. Rooms are very large. No free breakfast. I like Garden City area. Very upscale.

I had my wedding here in October and the entire Garden City Hotel staff (and also my wife and friends) made this the most amazing days of my life. I'm very grateful for the minimal hassle and transparency of pricing handled by the veteran wedding organizers. Paul was my absolutely favorite and he really gave useful suggestions that were not in any way trying to squeeze more money from an already expensive day. The room we had on the night of the wedding was fantastic and the restaurants (brunch, dinner, and cocktails) were all incredible. I highly recommend staying for the night (right across the street from the Garden City LIRR stop) and definitely having a wedding here.

Okay hotel, the style is appropriate, the restaurant is nice but that's about it. I think it's absolutely unbelievable (in the worst way possible) to charge money for the bottled water in the room. If I pay so much for a hotel, I expect More

It was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff were very attentive and catered to requests quick. Also, the food I had at the event I went to was pretty great. Can't really say I have much to complain about.

Great hotel. Stayed in the penthouse suite, which had a fantastic view from the balcony. Great restaurant near the lobby as well. Highly recommend.

We were invited to the hotel for a casino night. There was no gambling with real money, which was fine with us. The food was great, the casino tables had roulette as well as other card games at the tables. It was a very fun night, great food, every employee was courteous and professional. Nice job by Garden City Hotel.

Very nice, friendly staff, pet friendly, wonderful rooms. Would have been nice to have a chance to use pool, The pool closes at 7 pm that is way to early.My children never had the chance to use it.
