She helped us to find the perfect sectional for our home. We were updated every step of the way by their team and the delivery was on-time. The delivery crew was very respectful of our home and they did a great job getting the sectional setup. This is a big, big store with lots of choices and you can spend the entire weekend here looking through all the nice furniture in the show room and certainly, you will find what you are looking for here, no matter what your taste in furniture is. But the accolades stop there. Their customer service after the sale is horrible. Everything from scheduling delivery, trying to get someone to answer our questions, the time it takes to do anything is really really bad. We had to contact them at least 10 times by email or phone because the dining room table came in damaged and we had to return it for a refund. Each time, trying to get a clear cut answer to our concerns were like pulling teeth. This is a huge corporation with uncaring customer service and has different point of contact for everything from delivery, sales, returns, and accounting that moves very slow with rigid rules about everything. Very inflexible with each step and no one person takes responsibility. After your purchase, just give yourself room to be disappointed unless you just have lots of time to wait on them to schedule things on their terms.
My sales associate, Catherine Gregory, went above and beyond in trying to make my purchase exactly what I was looking for. She not only spent much of her day trying to show me furniture items that might have fit what I had in mind, but then emailed me ideas afterwards until we got it "just right".
I enjoyed my experience there and Jennifer was on her game. Very pleased to order a flex steel piece. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long for its arrival.

The place is huge and somewhat overwhelming, but we had a great consukt as nt in Chris Fox who listened to our needs and helped us zero in on our eventual purchase. We haven't received it yet, but cant wait fir it yo arrive!

Everyone was very nice. We worked with Scott Stratton and he is great! Very patient and helpful and super nice! Our first visit was a little overwhelming as there s so much available, and that time we only spent a few minutes with him. We didn t go back for several weeks and he remembered us, which is so rare nowadays. When we were ready to make some decisions he spent a lot of time with us and made sure we got everything just right. Wonderful service.
I have been looking for a living room set that was the right size and price for my new apartment. FLS Outlet is a pleasurable quest of looking for just the right color, size and price among infinite choices. Found it! Charlie Sheffield worked up both local delivery and Niagara Falls, NY apartment delivery minutes after I got home from the showroom. One phone call and I purchased the set. Was looking for a new sofa for my sunroom. Came with photos and ideas. I received wonderful customer service from Sara H. who has great communication skills. She quickly understood my preferences and ushered me around the showrooms stopping at relevant pieces. Identified my top choice in under two hours. She provided suggestions regarding the furniture color and fabric, but was not pushy. I lefty as a happy customer with a new sofa on order that should arrive in my home in less than nine weeks. Yippee!

huge stores and lot of brands. Price is almost same compared to small stores in Raleigh, Furnitureland should negotiate hard with suppliers and pass the discounts to customers.
We have shopped here for 12 years and have been very happy up till now. The change...we bought a couch 2 years ago and it is not wearing well at all. I cannot get management to call me back. I guess if you spend $9k on a couch don t expect it to last 2 years.

Don't waste your money here with so many other options throughout the state of North Carolina. I spent over $9,000 here, and they had to make 5 different deliveries over 5 months to get my order right. Everything from missing pieces to damaged parts. The customer service department is beyond awful. They ignored emails and phone calls over and over again. The only thing good about the experience was the delivery guys that were very professional and understanding.
It is such a relief to get expert advice when you need it! We save so much time and agony by haviing the expertise of a designer. It really sets Furniture Land South apart from other retailers.
The store was amazing, but what really made our experience defy expectations was our salesperson/designer. Mackenzie was great! She spent all the time with us that we needed, listened to what we were looking for and helped us navigate the store right to the items she felt met our needs! Our experience at Funitureland South was significantly enhanced because our opportunity to spend the day with Mackenzie! If our order and shipping process is half as good as our sales process I can't give Furnitureland South less than 5 stars!
Great "one-stop" shopping for your furniture needs. Obviously, depending on your personal taste, they may not have a wide selection, but regardless, it'll be bigger than any other store's.

I truly enjoyed working with Kim Haire, Senior Design Consultant. First, she did an awesome job selecting a new style of furniture and decorating my dad's new home at a retirement resort. A few months later, she helped me. I am single so I needed Kim's help selecting new furniture and lamps for my livingroom. I know without a doubt that if I tried to select pieces on my own, my livingroom would look like an ugly patchwork quilt. Her help was invaluable and now I have a beautiful living room. She spent hours with me walking the massive showroom only pointing out pieces that matched my style. When it came to selecting fabrics and color of leather, I would have been lost without her help. I really appreciated her honesty when I tried to point out a couple pieces that might go together. It reminded me why I needed her expertise. I will definitely use Kim when it's time to select furniture for the upstairs. I highly recommend Kim Haire.

My wife and I were able to find more than what we needed for our home. When we found out that our favorite piece was actually too large for our room, we were able to look online and find that the manufacturer made a smaller version, which Furnitureland South then ordered for us.

Your company, Furnitureland still carried the Westchester W1204 series. I contacted the most pleasant sales person Angela Worley and she helped me with the purchase. Although we haven t gotten the parts yet, mainly because we just ordered two days ago, the service, especially the help from Dawn, was outstanding. We purchased this set we need parts for 11 years ago, but Dawn found our invoice in a matter of seconds. She reached out to the manufacturer and got back in a day. Now we hope the manufacturer gave her the correct info and we ll be all set.
I ve shopped here years ago which is the reason I returned to made another purchase for my home. Salesman Timothy O Brien introduced himself, gave me his business card and allowed me to look around freely. He checked periodically without any sales pressure. I located him to assist with my color palate which he really excelled. Afterward, everything fell into place and I ve made my purchase. Excellent customer. I definitely recommend.
Lisa did a really great job!!! She was a pleasant surprise after shopping at multiple furniture stores and meeting a lot of other reps. She took the time to give us her full attention and catered to us accordingly. The only upset was that my furniture won t be able to be delivered for 3 weeks. What a disappointment.. don't rely on their delivery promises! Ordered custom couch and chairs Oct 12th with promise date of Dec 28th. On Dec 26th we were advised that the fabric was back-ordered - 2 days before delivery? REALLY? Nice follow-up, Tim O'brien!

Some "consideration" was pro-offered in his apology note. That "consideration" was never forthcoming. Maybe Tim is working on this one, too.

I googled furniture stores in the Greensboro, NC area and Furnitureland South came up. My husband and I decided to take a drive there after chatting with one of the many design consultants, Rob Hart. First, we were amazed as we entered the gates an incredibly large, attractive dresser designed on one of the buildings. Second, I must say, from the time we stepped into that building, to the time we left was truly an exciting, pleasant, helpful and warm experience. The furniture is BREATHTAKING! Rob met us at the front door and assisted us - and continues to - throughout our shopping journey. What turned into just ordering leather furniture for my mother, became ordering furniture for our home and our son s new home! I love, love Furnitureland South and I love Rob Hart for his professional recommendations and always immediately taking my calls!
Through phone calls, text and email, Dawn helped me pick a new sofa because the original one was too big to fit through the door. She spent time with manufacturer to make sure the dimensions were ones that worked. Very pleased!

We had an terrific experience shopping at Furnitureland, primarily because of our interior decorator s, Olga Smith s, expertise in design and ability to quickly tune in to our tastes. She made excellent suggestions to maximize our options while ensuring that the various pieces we selected coordinated or complemented in style.
To optimize the time you have to shop I strongly encourage you to send advance pictures of any existing furniture that you plan to continue to use in the room(s) you are decorating as well as pictures of furniture styles or room looks that you may have seen online or in magazines. Additionally the showroom is huge. We used 3 full days to shop for 3 rooms (great room, dining room and master bedroom). We could have easily used a 4th day to select end tables, lamps, linens, an additional rug and other accessories. Perhaps others move or decide more quickly but realistically, to enjoy the experience, I d advise setting aside more time than you anticipate rather than having to rush decisions or not finish shopping, particularly if you are coming from a distance. Although Olga is very accommodating, she is quite booked and may not be able to schedule an additional day to assist you.
We are please with Olga s continued communication with us. She has remained in contact clarifying minor aspects of our selections that we may not have initially considered and providing additional information regarding measurements and delivery.
She is a consummate professional. Perhaps her best hidden talent is to mediate differences between spouses so that each one s taste is represented in the selections. That is a skill one doesn t learn when training as an interior decorator.
Always work with Emily Tesh. She is amazing! Whatever I m looking for in furniture, I always check with her first. They deeply discount. Always get the best price and kid glove treatment. Yes, they carry high end stuff but they have plenty of options for the budget conscious. I highly recommend! I ve never been disappointed.

We were greeted pleasantly by Jason Campbell and his associate Maria, who listened well as we described the chairs we were looking for. They completely understood, and took us to dozens of "candidate pieces" around the vast showrooms, asking us what we liked and did not like about each. They know the stock and soon zeroed in on exactly what we wanted. We'd expected to spend a couple of days hunting at various places for the chairs-- but within a couple of hours found just what we had in mind. We couldn't have had better or more professional help.
There's one caveat about Furnitureland South: while it's a huge and beautiful store with furniture in every style and several pricepoints, do not expect to save money over your local quality furniture stores. The big advantage of Furnitureland South is *not* price-- it's selection.
Just know that delivery lead times aren't accurate. I was quoted a 4-6 week delivery time frame for my son's bedroom set and while it did arrive at their warehouse within that time frame, they neglected to mention during the sales pitch that apparently their delivery trucks don't come to my area (Western NC) very often. The furniture will sit at their warehouse for a month before it comes my way, so it's more like 10 weeks from order to arrival. Would have gone elsewhere had I known since I have a 2 year old I desperately need to get out of a crib and into a real bed.
