Prices are great but scheduling delivery is very inflexible. If you live out west, you are given 1 day a month about 7-10 days in advance. You either take it or leave it and try again the next month.
Our sales lady, Gwen, was able to zero in on our needs and style very quickly eliminating hours of fruitless searching.

I had confidence in FLS and wanted to stay with FLS. Dennis was very helpful in the past and I wanted to continue that relationship. He gave me a competitive price based on the information I shared with him from other furniture stores. Now my wife and I look forward to receiving the furniture.

I love my design associate, Christine Eddy!! She was invaluable in helping me find the furniture I was looking for to furnish a new home. I would have given 5 stars, however, the arrival of furniture to FLS takes awhile even without delays, which will happen. I've cancelled purchases because delivery delays were approaching 8 months (after an initial 2 mos. delivery window) with no guarantee in sight. If you don't mind waiting 6-8 weeks at best and upwards of 10+ mos. at worst, the design service, guardsmen warranties and prices are worth it.
It was an incredible experience working with Tim Shepard. He is very knowledgeable of his products and what can and can t be done. His personality is charming, a true southern gentleman style that makes you want to buy more just for the chance to work with him. But he is also respectful of one s budget and suggests alternatives when appropriate. Furnitureland Soutn is lucky to have this dedicated talent.
Had not physically been in store for 15 years, although I have ordered by phone. What an amazing experience. The store is pristine, everything is extremely well-laid out, labels easy to understand, no surprises. Ray Haire, my salesman is well-informed and pleasant to work with. Easy to see why he has been an employee at FLS for many years. Their pricing is terrific. It would be hard to beat. Based on past experience, their delivery people are also very professional and take care of your new purchases.

Tremendous selection with many brands represented. Great experience with the designer - without Kristen we would have been lost. Making the purchase is just the first step, delivery and set-up will also be a key part of the process. Only 4 stars because of the difficulty in finding your way around if you just want to browse; also some of the areas were pretty tight and made getting even our small transport wheel chair difficult to get through.
Honestly, this was the most enjoyable shopping experience I've ever had. From the moment we walked into the showroom, Hecxsiel, our personal escort, took great care of us. We laughed, toured, tested, and talked for 4 hours, and ended up purchasing exactly what we wanted plus an extra impulse decision we're very excited about...the massage chair! There's no doubt, we'll be back! :)

Furnitureland South is the best kept secret for furniture shopping. You can pick out the furniture you like, the firmness of the cushions, your fabric or leather, the style you want, and other amazing details all for a very reasonable price. We were amazed. We like firmer cushions than is often found in furniture stores and at Furnitureland we could get what we wanted in the quality furniture brand we desired. This place is huge, so be sure to get a design consultant. Ours was Jim Albright. He was great. There was absolutely no pressure, and he listened to what we wanted and directed us to the right people, the right areas for our search, and was great in helping us choose our fabrics. Since we are having our furniture specially built, we have not yet received it. You have to be patient to get what you want. It will take 8-12 weeks for our furniture to be ready. Be sure to get the Protection Plan that they offer with the furniture. Fabric furniture is treated with Fabric-Coate to help prevent stains. If it does stain and you cannot get it out, they will come to your home and treat it. If they cannot remove the stain, then the fabric will be replaced. This is a 5 year warranty for $59, which I think is a great deal. Just be sure to notify them within 5 days of the occurring stain. As I said earlier, this place is huge. Plan to spend a day or two. There is a great Cafe' where you can have lunch. Throughout the stores, there are also clearance items and an Outlet building for items you can take home when you buy them. We are so excited about our experience at Furnitureland South and cannot wait for our furniture to arrive. Furnitureland South will be our first choice in buying furniture in the future.
Wonderfull experience with the sales staff and initial purchase. Once the furniture was delivered I noticed that the brand new massage chair does not work. I was told by customer service at furnatureland south that they would take care of it. 9 days later I still have a very expensive piece of furniture that does not work. Awful experience. Google for some reason has good reviews on furnatureland south, but the reviews everywhere else are definitely different. Stay away from Furnatureland south. This is coming from someone that never leaves bad reviews.
Debbie Kennon was outstanding. She was professional and spent the time necessary to provide service and recommendations. This was our first visit to Furnitureland South and it would have been easy to be overwhelmed by the size and options available. We were definately impressed and will be back.
Pretty good selection and very good prices but overall a bad experience with the way the delivery happened. Make sure you have the conversation with someone on the policy or you ll be disappointed too.

This was our first visit to Furnitureland South. The experience was great! We worked with Donna Buchanan and she was wonderful! Her friendliness, attention to detail and knowledge in answering all of our questions was very helpful and made our experience so enjoyable and effortless. I would highly recommend Furnitureland South and Donna and will plan to visit the store again. Unfortunately we live in Illinois so it won't be as often as I would like.
Absolutely horrible! I went into the store to have furniture custom designed (2 couches, a coffee table and two end tables). I paid approx $6,000 for the total order. The delivery was promised to be made by Dec 2016 (order placed Sept 2016) and it arrived 5 MONTHS LATE, in April 2017. Not only that, the order was incomplete, the side tables had to be sent back and one of the couch cushions had filling that half deflated. I received HORRIBLE customer service, even after patiently calling, leaving voicemails, and sending emails. Furthermore, the sales associates did not treat me with any respect, often speaking in a rude tone and manner. Finally, after my sister-in-law called, it took another 2 months for the cushion replacement to arrive AND it was still the INCORRECT filler, not sure how this was possible considering i sent a picture of the cushion with the exact model #. After paying this much money for custom furniture, accepting LATE delivery, and dealing with horrible customer service, I will not be recommending this store to any one and will not be returning to purchase anything further. Absolutely horrible, perhaps the poor service was due to my ethnicity, but at the end of the day I believe that all customers should be treated with respect, especially since the company received payment in full and on time.

I have never seen anything like this place! I was a little overwhelmed because they have so many options but the staff were super helpful. The store is organized by manufacturer and I worked with a design consultant (Christy) who helped me find exactly what I was looking for. You could easily spend all day in the store as they have everything! I would also recommend good walking shoes.
I could not have asked for better service than I got from the design consultant Sue Anton. She cared enough to truly listen and pay attention to pictures that I sent her of my home so that she could guide me toward acceptable pieces of furniture. I asked her to be honest, and she gently guided me when I was having difficulty making decisions, especially when I got it down to the last two. In no way did she try to upsell me and actually recommended a lesser set of bedroom furniture. She clearly understood the parameters of what I wanted to spend for each room.
She even FaceTimed with me so that we could work out the positioning of various pieces. If you are having any doubts about ordering from a distance, don t hesitate to use this company. For example, when I was unsure if the finish was correct, Sue went throughout the show room and took pictures of the piece from a distance and close up so that I could have a more exact sense of what I was ordering.
Dawn Sara was our design consultant. She made a very long day fun! Her knowledge and professionalism was very obvious. She stayed with us even after closing. Dawn never rushed us throughout the process. Now I have several rooms of beautiful furniture to look forward to when our house is completed!

I just love Furnitureland South! I have furnished two homes with this company and have had the most wonderful designer to work with - Cindy Thorne. She helps bridge style differences between me and my husband finding things that we both love, creatively adds pieces and colors to complement the layout of the rooms, and always tries to save me money! The outlet and annual garage sale full of new but discontinued pieces also offer great savings. I highly recommend furnishing any room in your house at FLS!

The delivery was very successful. The crew clean up after they were finished.
There were three issues with the furniture -
1. Two dent on one of the night stand
2. Missing two of the night stands handles
3. Wrong living room end table deliver. Sent the table back with the delivery crew.
I was told the correct end table will be order.

Furnitureland South is an amazing place to see everything that is current in the furniture scene. You could literally shop all day (and have lunch there too) - I did. I am returning for my third time in a few days. If you can't find it here, it can't be found. Prices are great. Don't miss the Outlet in the back. Thanks to Tim Shepard, my Design Consultant, for wonderful help. I started out not knowing what I wanted and now I have a much better idea of how to furnish my house with what suits me.
Each experience with Furnitureland South is 5 stars. Across the past three years I've worked with them (virtually and in-person in NC) on multiple homes and multiple scale projects (from a single bed to redecorating an entire home).
FLS simply can't be beat - from extensive array of quality brands (at all price points and styles), to the frequently changing layout and product on site to see and feel, to the talented in-house designers (get their expertise at no charge)...it's mind-boggling why anyone would go anywhere else. Doing so would be such a waste of time and money.
Brittany and the Wesley Hall rep helped me to create the perfect pieces for my living, dining and sitting room. I'd highly recommend a visit with Brittany to navigate the showrooms. I'm very excited to get all of my new pieces!

Purchased a leather loveseat from the Outlet. Morgan Childress was the consultant who assisted me. The whole experience was very pleasant. Ms. Childress was knowledgeable regarding the merchandise for sale. She helped me to narrow down my selection based on where I planned to use the loveseat and to complete my purchase.
The delivery of the furniture went very smoothly. They were able to get the loveseat up the staircase without scratches to walls.

We have visited Furniture Land South on two different occasions. Both times we were assisted by wonderful consultants who listened to our needs and were able to show us a variety pieces in different price points. Never once did we feel pressured into making a purchase we were not comfortable with or did not initiate ourselves. We will happily work with Furniture Land South in the future.
I ordered a sectional sofa back in January, was quoted 8-10 weeks. After trying to get an update several times I am now told it will be more like 16 weeks. And that is just to their store, not including delivery to my home which will probably be another week. I'm not ok with 5-6 months to get a sofa!
In this day and age, why do you need a brick and mortar building to buy furniture? Well, they've a huge selection, tons of vendors, helpful staff great display, and the BEST kids furniture selection that I've ever encountered. Our sales representative was very helpful. The outlet is definitely worth a visit. We spent total of 6 hrs in one day (without kids) and were easily able to scan everything and make a selection. Definitely worth a trip if you're buying a lot of furniture. If you're trying to look for deals only, then outlet is your only bet. Anything in the mart or showroom is regular priced. Delivery charges are significant.
This store goes on for miles. Any furniture you could ever want is for there. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Not only she took the time to help me find the bedroom set I was looking for out of an online picture, she also promptly gave me all the information, choices and deals I needed. I ordered part of the set just to make sure it was what I was looking for. And it is just perfect! First class service from the ordering to the delivery of great merchandise. Had to come back to order the reminder of the set and will be back again soon, for sure! This people are the real deal and really good ones! My whole experience has been just amazing. When we made an appointment, it was to our extreme fortune that we were assigned to Dedra Powers. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We were put at ease from the very minute we walked into the door. She sensed our style choices very quickly and was able to show us selections that were beautiful and common to our tastes. I've had an interior design business in the past and can value the expertise of others. Dedra should be regarded as a valued employee. I'm sure she is.
We have always loved Furniture Land South, 90% of our house is furnished by them. Our first purchase was over 20 years ago and just recently this month. Unfortunately our sales person Martha retired, but Raymond stepped up to the plate and made our shopping experience just as delightful. His knowledge of each Brand was extremely helpful down to the final touches as using different fabrics for the pillows allowing them to be reversible. It maybe overwhelming for some but having all the brands in one place gives a buyer a huge variety to choose from, it s definitely our go to place!

Great selection. Rachel was friendly yet not fully trained in checkout procedures. She did not know how to fulfill a cash and carry. Took way too long to purchase a simple piece of art work. As a man shopping solo, I got very little sakesperson attention- a common shopping bias reininforced at your estsblishment. Such is life.

My husband and I just finished painting our home and installing new flooring. Of course, with all that, some new furniture would go great!! But, finances were tight so we were putting if off. Coming back from Charlotte I suggested we stop and 'just look' since I have never been to Furnitureland. Needless to say, I found the outlet and we came home with 2 chairs. We went back about 2 weeks later and came home with 3 rugs, pictures, a kitchen island, table for our living room, and pictures! We went back a few weeks later and came home with 2 more chairs and pictures! Went back last week and bought another chair!!! I love this place. My husband and I are close enough that we can just drive up and walk around. If we find something, great, if not we know we will be back!
I go here for their Starbucks sometimes between classes. The furniture is high quality and fits authentically with the Starbucks, so the vibe gets a 10/10.

This company has went down in quality and customer service since we last purchased furniture more than 15 years ago. We have been waiting 8 weeks and have only received the loveseat. They waited until the Friday before the delivery of the furniture to let us know that there was a cut in the sofa. Now we are being told it will be at least a month before we get the sofa. We paid cash down at the time of ordering and are having an issue with being refunded. Do not go to this place for furniture.

Got everything I needed for my house. I thought I knew what I wanted for my rooms but they showed me so many more possibilities for the space. I got exactly what I wanted and e quality i wanted for each room and was able to customize it. It s an all day thing, so go early and take your time. Make an appointment (w/ Cindy Basel) before your go and make your life easier. I would hands down recommend anyone to go that s ready to get exactly what they want and not settle for what chain stores have.

From the outlet, to my surprise I found a dinette set which I know I'll be very pleased with. My sales rep, Gerald, was very attentive and helped with his tips and advice. Did not give a 5 star only because of a few scratches but nothing that will be noticeable and the set is of great quality.

We ordered 6 dining chairs on 2/28 and to-date have not heard from the manufacturer or the sales person when our chairs would be delivered. I have to follow up with our sales person to get updates every month. I wish they would update us if our chairs were actually being made and are going to be delivered anytime soon. It's been 13 weeks, over the 10-12 week custom order time frame they had promised. Buyers be aware, unless you have plenty of patience and time to follow up on your order and do not care about late delivery or lack of communication, you will be frustrated by your experience after you spend almost $3000 to order custom furniture here.
