Massive, multi-building place and we would have been lost for hours on our own and/or never known even half of the places we could look for our new kitchen dining set, but we were greeted at the entrance and had a personal design and shopping assistant for the next three hours! Based on this one experience, recommend that you go on a weekday or make an appointment to get the help you need to find the perfect furnishings. I don't have a lot to go with for price comparison but you could find something for any budget. Their clearance warehouse is huge and you can easily find a perfect piece here with a little searching, if a perfectly matched suite is not your thing.

Awesome store. lots of furniture.Henry Lum Varela was the best design consultant. Very helpful and genuine.

Selections are enormous. Pricing is from low to medium to high. Be upfront about the amount you want to spend, the style you're interested in and the salesperson will assist you in every way possible. Ours was Dot. She was awesome. Loved her.

Christy Black was a great help to us as we struggle to update our master bedroom. Good advice, patience and a sense of humor.

Furniture Land South was awesome to work with. Lee responded to my request immediately and they saved me a TON of money!!!

Great Experience. Anxious after I read some bad reviews. Our buying experience was amazing.

Delivery (which has been a sore point with some reviewers) was a breeze. Delivery drivers were super conscientious and accommodating.

Minimal damage to a single piece was quickly remedied to our satisfaction.

Prob could have saved a few pennies by shopping around, but Furnitureland's selection saved me more than that in time factor.

Would buy again.

I heard about this store from my friend, so my husband and I took 2 days off and drove 4.5 hours to the store. I love the quality of the furniture , but honestly I was not impressed by the sales lady. I told her that my budget is $25K (only need to buy master room set, kid's bunk bed, home office, living room set, that's all), was immediately told the budget was too low, then was sent to "outlet" building, We had to spend the whole afternoon there by ourselves. We then decided not to make the purchase at this time.

Great experience from start to finish. Our design consultant, Rebecca Carlson, was extremely helpful throughout our visit. She was available to answer questions and connected with us during our entire visit. Once we were at a place to order the furniture, Rebecca made the entire process effortless and easy. Rebecca was extremely professional and knowledgeable and the store was an absolute delight to shop in. The only concern I would have is that the store is so big that you may get lost trying to find your way out! ;-)

Overall excellent experience with Brittany ... enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable, a pleasure to work with! Amazing location ... seemingly infinite selection, and overall great service, especially for the price! Highly recommend to all!

Furnitureland South offers a great shopping experience. Worked with Sherry for second time. Last was 15 years ago for northern home. Recently furnished my winter home in Florida. She is a pleasure to work with. Extremely helpful, Always offering great ideas.

I had to call 3 times over a week before a 3rd representative actually called me back with answers so I could place an order.

The designer Sharmayne was very helpful and responsive .

Fantastic help from interior designer Mary Beth, who found us the exact pieces of furniture we were looking for, for hard-to-fit spaces! Enormous inventory from every great furniture manufacturer imaginable. Truly a one-stop shop for all furniture.

It would be more rewarding if the website would be kept up-to-date.

When visiting the gallery in North Carolina, it would be great to see merchandise which has been sold with the tag on

Jennifer Caldwell was so kind and helpful and even stayed late with us because we were late for our appointment! The entire place is beautiful and very relaxing!

5 stars just because of one reason and that is the appearance and the huge dresser that stands out from far away. We didnt go inside, however, we only visited the place because there is a subway behind the building. Upon going inside we found out that it is the largest subway of the country with seating capacity of upto 200+ people (WOW) and that was amazing. The customer service was excellent and the food is always amazing at subway. We had a veggie patty sub. Thanks Subway, that was a great experience and we will surely come back.

I visited the outlet. Service was great. Selection was also excellent. Made a purchase and am quite pleased.

We have used Furniture Land South for about 25 years in two different states. The representatives we worked with were always exceptional and of course the selection is amazing. We value the whole package your store has to offer.

The shopping experience is fantastic. The showroom is large and so many pieces to view. The problem is the delivery and after. Many pieces came damaged or wrong item. It has been three months since delivery and still trying to work out the issues. Furnitureland has not denied the issues but taking forever to correct them. We spent over $25,000 so this was not a little order.

Horrible customer service. The"designer" we met constantly taking us to the outlet center, where the price is actually not competitive but every single piece is "sell as is". The ~$1000 dresser arrived with very unstable stand so we returned to fix due to safety concern (it seems very likely to fall down and cause injury). THE DRESSER STAYED IN FLS for 2 MONTHS WITH NOTHING FIXED! It shipped back to us with the exact same issue, and we feel like we were forced to keep it.

I'd sincerely suggest to purchase your furniture elsewhere, although it's a good place to come visit and explore what you are looking for.

Gigi helped us find a sectional that fit our style perfectly after cutsomizations, and got us the quote that afternoon. We were looking for something a bit cheaper to hold us over for only a few years, but when the time comes, we will definitely return to get a quality sectional!

I have been very pleased with all purchases I have made at Furnitureland South through the years, they are very pleasant and have great prices and are reliable.

Terri Rosas is an awesome designer and would highly recoomend her. She has a keen eye to match concept design to our expectations, advocates to make the best deal, and ensures our interests are her top priority. We will work with Terri again for future furniture purchases!

Had a great experience with Janice, our saleswoman. Furnitureland offered the best prices by far.

Great design help, but that's it. They don't tell you that it's another 3 weeks after they receive the furniture before they will deliver. Now I am stuck with family coming and no furniture as we sold ours when we found out the furniture would be arriving to their place since we expected to be without for only a week.

We were greeted at the door by a knowledgeable and professional design consultant who stayed with us for about two hours. We were happy to find and purchase a beautiful bed (headboard/footboard set), along with mattress and boxspring for a very reasonable price. A really great shopping experience with no pressure to buy.

Absolutey horrible experience. 6 months now for this whole process. My wife and I drove 4 hours down to this place and ordered a bedroom set on FEBRUARY 15, 2014. we were informed that delivery would be 4-6 weeks. After we made the initial deposit, we were then informed that the dresser was on back order. We received everything but the dresser finally at the end of April. The chest of drawers arrived DAMAGED. They said we could keep it and they would order another chest and pick up the damaged one when they deliver the new one plus the original dresser.I never heard anything back from them until i finally called them on JUNE 15 to ask the status. They told me that the last two pieces had arrived on May 30 and asked if i would like to schedule delivery. and it would be another few weeks. Today is JULY 17 and they are delivering the last two pieces today between 2-6 p.m.. Called multiple times and left many messages for management. No manager would ever take my calls or ever call me back in response to multiple complaints. The only ones who will answer are the people who take the payments over the phone and schedule delivery. Once they've got your money, good luck ever contacting anyone.

We spent nearly 5 hours with Claire Blackwell and found her to be incredibly knowledgeable about merchandise that Furnitureland carried and had on display, plus she was considerate regarding our time and ability to absorb all that information over so many hours.
What we appreciate the most is the fact that we had very specific dimensions for the bedroom pieces because of limited space, and also taking in our preferred style, she showed us only pieces that fit our criteria and did not waste our time showing us things that would not work for us. In the end, we bought the ideal pieces for us. Prices were reasonable.
We looked at other items and bought a leather loveseat as well - using specific criteria.
We are happy with our purchases,. The showroom is laid out extremely well for ideal viewing, clean, neat and with covid protocol in place. We have purchased at Furnitureland for nearly 2 decades because prices are reasonable, delivery and white glove service is well done. Would give this place more than 5 stars.

I started the process via the chat feature on the website. Kristen was very helpful in giving me quotes for four dressers. After I made my choice, I informed her that I would go to the store to look at the two contenders and decide. When I arrived she was busy with another customer but the receptionist found me another designer and he went with me to look at the dressers and also gave me some venders that might have the bedroom headboard that I wanted. Every was so very helpful and personable; even after the purchase Kristen and the other designer have followed up to make sure I didn't have any other questions.

Furniture delivered was defective. Customer Service agreed to come back and pick up the defective stools. Two weeks have past, and several emails...Still no pickup scheduled, while they continue to have my money.

We love shopping at FLS. I spent 2 full days with designer Donald Beck to furnish our condo in FL. This was my second time working with Donald. Donald is fabulous to work with and I will definitely be working with him on future projects.

I bought from here years ago. Three weeks ago I reached out to a consultant and never heard back. I followed up and she said she'd get right back to me and never did. A week later I tried again to give them my business- called to talk with another consultant and had a good initial chat about what I was looking for. I sent her pictures of the space and dimensions and never heard back. After a week I followed up and never heard back. Terrible experience. Won't give them a third chance- I'll go elsewhere.

Nightmare. We drove from Ohio to North Carolina to hopefully find quality furniture. What we found after spending $6,000 was a headache. We ordered furniture in August 2018. It arrived in November 2018 and both couch and chair were damaged. Ugh. They sent a guy out to paint the leather but it was unacceptable. They had to order another couch and chair. Ugh....another headache. They delivered another couch and chair in December 2018 and they both needed leather touch ups and the frame is bent on the couch. Ugh....HUGE headache. They told us they would come pick up the couch in February 2019 and REPAIR the bent frame. They never came. And WHY repair???? We paid $6,000 for NEW furniture!!! I have contacted Rick Small in Customer Service at Furnitureland many times. Still waiting for a resolution. We called our salesperson Natalie Dean and she never returned our calls. Ugh....nightmare headache. If you are looking to add some stress to your life.... FURNITURELAND SOUTH is the place to do it!! $6,000 is ALOT of money to most people....including us!! We are retired and money is tight. We thought this to be a lifelong investment but it has been a HUGE disappointment. I would NEVER recommend this furniture store. We are still waiting for what we paid for and it s March 4, 2019. HORRIBLE quality control and customer service.

Cannot say enough good things about Debbie Cathey our favorite sales and design person at Furnitureland South! We call her whenever we are thinking of getting new furniture either from the outlet or from the main showroom. We have bought furniture for our den , bonus room, screened in porch and now a new mattress from Furnitureland South and have been very satisfied with the quality of their products and their delivery service.

We have been looking for months for furniture for new house with no success. I know Covid has made things more complicated and frustration is to be expected. But our consultant Patrick took us directly to furniture that works both in quality and price range. We furnished the living room and ordered an awesome mattress! And he wore a face mask as did all the employees and shoppers. We felt very safe and left happy with the the experience.

The furniture selection was amazing and gorgeous in it's display and reasonably priced. We drove from Asheville to Highpoint with the intention of covering several stores in our hunt for a dining room table and chairs, sofa, coffee table... This was our first stop and we spent the entire day there. It met our needs, taste, and quality in the furniture that we were looking for. The designer, Chris, who helped us was wonderful to work with- a 5 star in rating as well. He was very helpful in a non- pushy way giving us advise as to how different items would look and work together. We are and will continue to work with him there.

While I think Furnitureland South provides a good alternative to many, my review is really about Ray Haire. He rates on the very top of my list as far as exemplary customer service. Even when I do not expect him to respond to a question because it may be a Saturday or Sunday, he does. It is as though he works every minute of the day. While I hope that is not true, he sure makes his customers feel like it. He is why I return! Thank you.

I just ordered a console from Furniture Land South along with this I asked Henry Lum to send me links to preview other coffee and end tables. Henry was very accommodating and informative about pricing and design suggestions. I would def. order from Furniture Land South and deal with Henry again.

My rep Emily Colby was fantastic! Very nice but most importantly, well informed about products and great about getting back to me on a timely basis. Could not be happier- will always run my future furniture/accessory purchases thru her!

I would give them six stars if I could. Our designer, Robbie McGraw went way out of her way to help, visiting s suppliers store on her day off for instance. She was responsive, had good ideas and helped us through a thorny billing problem. And the order was actually pretty small. We just received the product in Florida and that was flawless. William and his crew were polite, careful and skilled. We will go back and use Robbie!

Charlie Sheffield is amazing! We came shopping with a few ideas, he took them and found perfect solutions for the rooms we are updating! Charlie is a superb listener. I have had issues working with designers in the past because they have had strong opinions, contrary to mine, about what we should buy. I loved that Charlie really worked tirelessly to find the perfect items to make us happy.

We always end up at furnitureland south when looking for our home furnishing needs. In fact, we've learned through the years just to go there first. The selection and service can't be beat.

They had everything I needed and liked. Can t go wrong at Furnitureland. Kim was great! Very patient with us and she knew her stuff! I highly recommend Furnitureland.

We had the pleasure of working with Brittany and Emily. They were amazing!!! They worked tirelessly to ensure we were happy with our selections. It was awesome working with two designers and you could tell they wanted everything perfect. It was as if they were designing their living room not ours. It was a great experience!!

We just bought a second home in Connecticut and had to furnish it from scratch. We have moved many times but always with our old furniture and never had to start with a blank slate. I sent plans to one of their designers, Tim O'Brien, who spent two days with us guiding us around the huge show room . We furnished our new home from top to bottom, sometimes thinking about comfort but always with an eye on price. Tim helped us find furniture that fit our tastes and budget and then helped us to configure the furniture in rooms. We left High Point and came to Ct. Some of our furniture was here immediately. Other items came later. The service was excellent. We had a minor problem with a few things and Tim intervened so we got everything in a timely manner. We added a few things as well. Tim made sure they were included with our deliveries. I am delighted and would certainly recommend the store and Tim O'Brien to anyone looking for furniture.

We eventually found what we were looking for. However, the level of designer support was minimal. She was able to price out our items for us, but was unable to answer some basic questions. We were walked around in circles across two buildings. We came prepared with descriptions of what we needed but the three items we purchased were things we found randomly ourselves vs her providing guidance and suggestions.
Also, be sure to read the tiny fine print on some tags. While items are priced separately, they refuse to sell them separately-very frustrating and a huge waste of time. It almost cost them a sale worth 6+ times of the item they wouldn't sell.

Enjoyed my day with design consultant, Tanya Barns, her expertise with your showrooms was fascinating and informative, found the items for our new addition I was searching for in a one day visit!

After browsing through hundreds of options, we found the perfect accent chair at a reasonable price. It was exactly what we were looking for. The sales staff was helpful without being pushy, and the gentlemen who packed it up and loaded it for us were very friendly and careful with our new chair. Great shopping experience!

Furnitureland South is an amazing shopping experience ! Make sure you have your walking shoes on!! We had a number of pieces we were looking for to complete our new home and Donald Wright helped us get exactly what we needed. He was great at helping us with the design choices and consulting on what colors might work best. The trip is well worth the drive!!

Delivery driver that was on 85 today in concord cut me off almost causing a massive wreck with my three year old kid in the car. Had to slam on the brakes barely missing them. Hopefully the manager reads this and makes them take a safe driving course.

What an amazing shopping experience! MacKenzie Cooke warmly greeted us upon our arrival to Furnitureland South. She made shopping for a family room sofa fun and efficient. There were so many brands to check out and she listened to our requirements offering her ideas and suggestions. I thought selecting the fabric would be a chore, but she made it easy and pleasant. We made a decision we are extremely happy with and look forward to the arrival of our new sofa! We will definitely be back and I will call on MacKenzie to assist us in any future purchases! Excellent customer service and warranty servicing at Furnitureland South. After my Beautyrest mattress turned lemon shortly after CoVid they were very helpful in settling my claim and now I am waiting for new mattress to arrive. I don t like getting dinged for $300 in freight charges when I paid them once already!
Ouch!

You were able to get me the parts I needed even though the chairs in question had been discontinued. The purchase process was a little unsettling because I did not get a confirmation. The charge shows up on my credit card. I surprised that it will take so long to get the items.

We visited once and worked with Amanda, who was very helpful. She was not available though the next visits so we worked with Sarah, and she was great. The store(s) is/are Impressive and we found some items that are helping us refurbish after tree damage.
I only put 4 stars because the Showroom wa-and is-hard to figure out due to its size. Something to deal with.
Lucky to be so close in W-S, but we will recommend when possible.

My designer Michelle Taylor is fantastic. Very quick to respond and always helpful. The delivery service is very careful with my furniture and I have always been pleased with Furnitureland South. I have been purchasing furniture from them for years. I highly recommend them and be sure to ask for Michelle!!

One Star only for the hours:
I find the store interesting, the hours not so much. How can you expect most folks to shop Mon-Fri between 8:30am-5:30pm and closed Sundays, your store hours, we the people making money can't spend it in your store because we are working to make that money during your store hours.

This year I had worked with two different consultants before being referred to the third, Gigi Jones, who jumped in to not only work with me on a new order but to keep me informed on the status of my original order. Gigi was fabulous to work with - very professional, knowledgeable, and doing whatever to be helpful and to make sure I was happy with my choices. This is second house I have furnished working with FLS, and will continue to do so. The staff provides exceptional customer service and I have always been treated as though I was their only customer.

I have purchased a great deal of furniture from this amazing store in the past. But I had never tried doing it over the phone! My designer, Catherine, made the adventure successful. She was quick to understand what I wanted, and quick to find what I d been imagining. A few calls, several emails, and her diligence paid off for me. I now await my dream bedroom furniture. This store has anything you could imagine!

Beautiful displays and great place to get decorating ideas. No pressure to purchase and very helpful staff. It was a great experience and can't wait to return.

FLS is the largest and best furniture store in the world. I've been furnishing my home almost exclusively with FLS since 2004. The customer service and product selection are unmatched in the industry.

Had my first interview with furniturelandsouth last week waiting on my 2nd

We had a wonderful design specialist however the process took many months longer than promised and we were so frustrated with the process and all the delays.

You can find comparables prices online if you already know what you want because they all just forward your order to the manufacturer who direct ships to you, but there is nowhere on earth with as much inventory and variety to browse to find the perfect piece if you don't already know exactly what you want. It's worth the trip if you want to spend the time (takes an entire day to see the whole place) to find exactly what you're looking for.. and so much more that you never knew existed.

Working with a very knowledgeable Debbie Kennon was a pleasure.

From start to finish everything went very smoothly.
The delivery team were wonderful. I would highly recommend Furnitureland South.

Excellent furniture at a great price. Gerald was wonderful to work with and incredibly responsive. We decided to pick-up a few pieces and have the rest delivered. Patrick and Preston did a great job loading everything safely and securely. Great furniture buying experience!

Expensive furniture, however I just see why anything would carry the big price sticker. I don't see any bang for my buck.

We are very pleased with the service that we received from our salesperson. The process of working out exactly what we wanted started a couple of months ago and during that time she was very helpful whenever we had questions. Having the largest showroom that we have ever seen along with being able to select from all of the available options from the manufacturer made all the difference.

Sue Antonopoulos provided outstanding support during our recent visit. She was very knowledgeable and provided many options. She knew all the key details of each piece of furniture and helped us evaluate the differences. Once we confirmed our selections, she expeditiously processed our order. The price was great along with free delivery. Top notch! She is my person to go to for my furniture needs.

We built our home in 1996. For years we have wanted to fill our home with beautiful furnishings that reflect our personality and needs. Having only a few favorite pieces we have many gaps to fill in and rooms to complete. Like most other families we placed an emphasis on our daughters room. Leaving our master suite with no more than a bed and end tables we assembled ourselves. We contacted furniture land South and told them our needs. Their recommendation was the design team of Emily Taylor and Brittany Morris.
We made travel plans and set up two days with Emily and Brittany. My husband myself and our daughter who has special needs traveled to furniture land South for the first time in May to create a Master Bedroom sanctuary and complete our great room. Emily and Brittanys ability to work with us, match our personal style, needs, budget, and accommodate our family was exemplary.
We recently made our second trip and again worked with Emily and Brittany. With an uncanny ability to see into my minds eye, match our personalitys with furnishings. Every step of our collaboration was filled with knowledge talent and fresh ideas. There enthusiasm is contagious! They have truly been a blessing to us!! We could not have imagined a better fit. Furnitureland south s show rooms are beautiful and vast. This provided us with the ability to view many manufacturers without the pain staking and arduous task of traveling from location to location to view them first hand. We will continue to work with furniture land South and our personal designers Emily Taylor and Brittany Morris to complete the home of our dreams. This was our first time visiting Furnitureland South and we didn't know what to expect, though we knew it was a huge showroom.
Prior to our visit we communicated with Debbie Pegram, Design Consultant at, Furnitureland South, asking about specific furniture brands/collections.
Furnitureland South showrooms are exceptionally designed with many brands tp select from and experience.
Debbie made our experience enjoyable and not overwhelming. She is a professional, well knowledged, clearly experienced designer, who was considerate of our budget and desire to purchase furniture that reflected our likes and needs. She was patient with us and we never felt rushed, as we walked through the many showrooms of Furnitureland South.
Debbie worked with our floorplan to insure our furniture selections were the right size and placed in the right area of our rooms for accurate flow and placement.
We highly recommend Furnitureland South and Debbie Pegram and look forward to getting our furniture slections in our new home.

Made an appointment in June and met with Olga. Olga was training Terri Rosas at the appointment. I didn't care much for Olga and warmed up to Terri immediately. After 4 hours of wandering the vast buildings, my husband and I took home a lot of information. Terri emailed me prices and samples over the course of the month. Couldn't make a decision until October and with Terri's help made decisions that I am so happy with. The prices were definitely better and I hope they arrive quickly!

I heard about the fantastic array of selections as we are looking to furnish our new home. After reading all of the negative reviews, I am now hesitant to drive the more than 3 hours each way, only to be disappointed by rude or non-existent customer service. There are many, many reviews describing shabby delivery, non-responsive customer service, etc.
All of the responses to these reviews are standard "sorry. we've notified customer service of your issue. And their effort stops there. No further help to the customer!" Pretty scary and terrible way to treat customers.
So I think we will regretfully pass on this store.
