James was very helpful, he caught us right when we drove in. He was waiting OuT in the sun to be ready for the next customer, I like that, eager/motivated to sell and get us the right vehicle. The finance part was my only issue, it was a different guy, he didn't fully explain after I asked him to several times to do so. And he even said "oh don't worry about that" after I asked him about some numbers they didn't look right.

I just recently bought my 2nd vehicle from Fredy Kia and although I love my new car I m very upset and disappointed by my latest salesman Randy Jackson he lie about the payments told me I would be paying less than $400 a month, also he lied about the free oil change I would be receiving for the first oils change. I told him I would be moving to Colorado in a two weeks before I got the vehicle and although I m moving can I still receive the first free oil change @ a Kia dealership but if I can t ill wait on the car til I get to Denver . He made these promises and stated yes you can still get a free oil change from another state! I m not sure if he just wanted to complete the sale and didn t care on what he had to say to get it done, but I m extremely upset about the matter, and The unprofessionalism I ve seen from Fredy Kia. I recommend no one goes through Randy Jackson to get a car! Shake my head
Had to go have the oil changed they have a deal when you buy from them oil changes are free as long as you have them do a service check or repair ,or rotating tires

Please do not waste your time with them. We went to the smaller lot, and all they did was lie to my husband and I. I was so mad to the point I wanted to cry. What a waste of time. Don't sell people false dreams, and to top it off we drove an HR plus to get there. We had been speaking with them all week only to get there and they can not help.
Mario A paniagua was extremely helpful and made out buying experience simple and fun. He was courteous and respectful through our entire experience. I was extremely pleased with his service and help.

I got a Silverado 03 broke down in Austin from fredy Kia only had it for a year Jonathan said it was a good truck. Took the Silverado back with a down payment. I got a F-150 2010 from fredy Kia Jonathan. I only had it for 2 and 1/2 Weeks, it started smoking from the tailpipe an engine light stayed on. They said I was responsible for fixing it out of my own pocket. If you sell something on the car lot. It should be fixed so you can sell. He wanted to keep my down payment 500 down. So I told them keep the F-150 and keep the 500 down payment that they did not want to give back. So be careful when you go to fredy Kia used car lot through Jonathan

All staff was exceptional from April at the front desk to James and Montana Bill in sales, Ryan in F&I and Alan in warranty. This is a positive place and easy to do business with. I got the car I wanted at a reasonable price. I never write reviews but the experience was so good, I felt the need to share my experience. I would recommend them over any other local Kia dealers for honesty, business ethics and price.
After reading some of these reviews I would of never gone to Fredy Kia..glad I didn't check reviews. I was very pleased with their customer service. Eli and his staff (manager and finance) were very nice and friendly. I recommend getting your KIA with them!!
I was very unsatisfied with my experience this time. The first time I came to Fredy Kia, my car salesman was Randy. He was awesome and I was able to walk out with my 2015 kia rio the same day. It has been almost two years since I had my car and I was thinking about a trade in. I got a call from Edgar about a buy back and made an appointment. The day before the appointment Edgar asked me to reschedule because of the weather which I did. So the day of the reschedule Edgar confirmed my appt with me. He also confirmed again the day of. Thirty minutes before my appt, in route to kia, someone else called me and asked if I could reschedule AGAIN because they were short staffed. (Which I told them no because I'm coming all the way from across town). Then they tell me well we are going to have get someone else to work with you meaning I couldn't have the guy that set my appt because they were short staffed. That's not my issue. Already bad customer service and I didn't even make it to Kia yet. When I arrived to kia Jonathan approached my car, not professional at all, I didn't even know he was a car salesman. We sat in his office all he had me do was sign a paper, tried to MAKE my dad sign as a co-signer, and did not give enough information. He told me he did not have a answer for me because the banks was closed but it was "looking good for me". He stated he would call me the next morning with the next step. I waited all morning for a call back. I had to call back three times to speak with him just for him to say sorry it was not approved. He did not say anything else, no other options I had to say something just for him to respond and say bye. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I'll give my business and money to someone else. Never again!!!
Isaac Walton was my sales person. He got me a 2018 Nissan Versa. I have to say. He is the most attentive person there. He will listen to your needs. Then provide a cost effective solution. Isaac is my guy for cars from now on.
I offered $5500 on a $6600 cash vehicle. They came back WITHOUT budging on the sticker price and proceeded to tell me it was a requirement of the dealership to add vehicle tracker, elite package, and windshield protection (each $300-$400). I countered with the fact they didn t even bring the sticker price down at all, the windshield had two big cracks in it and I told them they weren t selling me windshield protection for a cracked windshield. Vehicle tracker is really up to the customer and told them I didn t want it. I asked them what the elite package was and the salesman couldn t even tell me what it was at all but I told them I didn t want the elite package for a CASH VEHICLE. They told me they couldn t remove these 3 items because it was a part of their strict standards to customer service/satisfaction, if that were the case then I wish I could post the pic I took of their bathrooms...DISGUSTING!!!!
BEWARE Talked to a lady online named stephanie she told me they do in house financing or bank financing whichever I prefer I said ok this is what I have done these are my check stubs I would like to in house finance made a appointment for my wife to go in while I was at work to start looking my wife was there 3 hours before getting moved from new car lot and them running my credit over and over to used lot where she waited another hour before I arrived the sales lady BLANCA showed us a jeep with over 200,000 miles on it broken door handles power steering leaks grill falling off says this is one that they could do for us I said no thanks what other cars do you have she says idk yet I'm waiting on my boss to let me know then turns out there running my credit again through bank when I clearly did not want to bank finance I stepped outside after waiting another hour or so my wife came out and said BLANCA said were not approved for anything I walked inside asked BLANCA what happened she said we cannot approve you for anything I said ok what's the reason she says I dont know I politely asked for copies of all papers we signed and she started giving them to me so I asked for a copy of the application RUDLEY replied why do you need a copy of it I said because I like to have copies of papers I signed she says no you cant get a copy I asked why because you cant she replied I then asked to speak with manager I asked him for copy he said no I cant give you a copy I then asked him why we were not approved he said I never said that I said give me 20 mins I'm working on it I said well BLANCA told my wife we were not approved for anything he said no give me 20 mins I'm working on it I said ok 20 mins later he asked for a salesperson to show me another car but couldint find the salesperson then told BLANCA just show them the car!she walked away and finnally another sales person walked me to very back of lot to show me the car i said ok dosent look bad can i drive it and see the numbers he said lets go check he then came back out with papers for how much down and monthly so i said ok let's go show my wife went back out to car and my wife and i started looking at it again and i asked did you bring the key he says no it is locked in service department and its closed for weekend i said ok he then said if yall like it we can do the paperwork on it and we will put you in a loaner until it's been through the shop WOW i then asked is this the only car yall can get approval he replied yes out of about 60 cars I then agreed come back possibly Tuesday when the car was ready and I can actually drive it so we walked back inside I asked him if I could just speak to finance manager before I left he said yes then 3 mins later said oh the finance guy that was working on my deal had left!! then asked me if I wanted to leave a deposit nooo these guys were so unprofessional rude and worst costumer service I've ever experienced BLANCA was the worstttttt dont vuy from here !!!BEWARE

Either they were doing the old bait and switch or they are incredibly inefficient. I went in with my son to buy a car with cash. I called the day before, told them the exact car we wanted, took the vin number to check it out and get quotes from our insurance and then set up an appointment to come in the following morning to purchase. We drove over 45 minutes just to be told by the salesperson that he didn t have the keys so it must have been sold already....even though it still showed as available in the system. Immediately he asked if we wanted to take the cash we brought in and put it towards another vehicle. My son and I just smiled and left. Thank you for wasting hours of our time. And you lost a second sale because I was interested in purchasing a new vehicle for myself as well.

I dont understand how this company Freddy Kia allows people with in the same company mess around, or date even with in the same company. I saw one of the receptionist named April if im not mistaking with the director or who ever it is that sis in the office way in the back corner nehind a closed door. I saw them in the parking lot together even jumping in eachothers vehicles. Then another long haired girl her name started with an M. couldve been margie,maddy something to that effect. Messing around or again maybe dating one of the finance managers. Not even right. there are alot of bad reviews about this company. I see now why. There all too busy to rush us outta there to get back to there games within the company. I went with family and was very interested in purchasing a vehicle but after seeing that! Never!!So i took my business somewhere else. Thank you....

Mike Houston and Fredy Kia took care of me when all the other Kia dealers gave me the run around. I emailed Mike Houston and asked him for his best price on an KIA Sorento EX. I did my research, and I can tell that Mike houston knows what he is talking about because he emailed me back a quote in less than 10 minutes. I waited 3 days for some of the other KIA dealers to get back with me and some would not give me a price at all. When I told the other Kia Dealers the price Mike houston gave me, they said they could not honor that price. I went to the dealer and purchased my new KIa from Mike Houston and Fredy Kia and was in and out in about 1 hour, with no surprises! I would recommend Mike Houston & Fredy Kia to anyone who wants great customer service and a professional car buying experience. I recieved 5 years of free oil changes for buying a new Kia from Fredy KIA.
The dealership was located on the bend of the Gulf Freeway near Almeda Mall. I went in with a list of 3 specific used trucks. Only one was actually a available when we were there. Just a bit disappointing. The sales staff was friendly enough...

My fist car experience took two days the people we're beyond nice until I drove away and 3 weeks later was told that my bank did not accept me so I had to return it but they were so rude they literally couldn't wait to get ride of us and made us feel so stupid for not knowing what was going on I would stay away from this place all they want is your money and once they have it they will blow you off there is better places than this !!!!!!

I really wish I could give this dealer a ZERO rating just due to the fact that their customer service is by far the most frustrating part to deal with. I tried calling to get answers to some question I had & kept getting tossed around from person to person. Left several messages to see if someone would have the decency to call me back but found my self being the one calling hours later. When it's time to buy a new car I will most definitely NOT buy from here anymore.
Forced to purchase $2000 in add ons. GAP insurance over $800..... Almost 90 days to get plates/registration. (I made 2 payments already) Finance Company paid Fredy in full 2 weeks after purchase. Fredy just gives lip service. Keeps 2nd key hostage until they were paid but still would not give us keys after they were paid in full $19,500.00. (2 weeks after purchase)

I walked in the place just to see their line up and the new telluride. The first lady salesman I talked to was pleasant to talk with and she was trying to be accommodating, that is until the next guy arrive at the desk. He interjected himself and tried to take over the conversation. He didn't listen to me at all and what I was looking for. Instead he tried to push a sale on something I wouldn't have taken for free. After i finally had enough, I tried to come up with every excuse in the book to get out of there, but the salesman wasn't having it. He tried to shut down all my excuses for wanting to leave and proceeded to pressure me to stay. When I finally told him I wasn't looking at anymore cars and that I am leaving, he got mad. I was interested in buying when I walked in there, hated the place walking out. I went down the road to a different dealer a few days later and purchased a new vehicle and got an amazing deal on it. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone unless you want to get pressured into something you don't want and get screwed on a deal. The sales people are rude. The management staff is rude. And whatever you do, don't walk in there thinking you'll only spend about 30 minutes looking at vehicles so you can make up your own mind on what you want, they make your mind up for you, and will not let you leave till you agree...
I bought 2016 Chevy Silverado from them. The first time I came in they conveniently 'couldn't find the keys' to the truck parked behind it and therefore I couldn't test drive it. They also would not remove a VIN number etching (which HPD will do for free and they were going to charge $400 for) and several other items like it from the price. That added on around $2000 for nothing of value.
We came back because it still looked like a really good deal. The second time they told us they would take that out and didn't, but we bought it anyway. It took six hours to get through the process, most of that time spent with us twiddling our thumbs waiting on someone. On the way home a check engine light for low oil came on. My wife and I decided that we would take it back to have it serviced that weekend since we were going out of town in a different vehicle that afternoon.
When we came back, the truck had a flat tire and another that was dangerously low. I couldn't air that tire up because the stem on the tire was stripped, leading me to believe that they had been airing it up every few days to make it look right. The air conditioning also quit working properly on the way. So we drove in on a flat tire and were ushered into a corner office of the dealership where no one could see us and waited for the guy who sold us the truck for an hour before I got fed up and talked to a manager. He said they would fix it.
Fast forward four days when I called and was told that the truck would be ready Saturday at noon. It was going to be late because they conveniently forgot the part about the low oil and air conditioning problem. We went back in that Monday to pick the truck up and had to wait an hour to be told that the engine was bad and that they couldn't in good conscience sell us the truck. They only caught this after it had sat on their lot for a month, they had worked on it for a week, and my wife and I waited to pick it up for an hour on the day we were told. We left the dealership. I called them thirty minutes later to tell them I needed to get my stuff out of the truck and get a check for the car we traded in. I had forgotten because I was so frustrated with the whole mess. They said they would take care of it.
I called two days later and told them I was coming to get both. When I got there I had to wait yet again for an hour only to be told that they would not give me a check for the car or take the car to my apartment nor did they have my stuff from the truck even though they had known for two days. I had driven myself there so I was going to have to come back for a sixth time to get the car (each trip was an hour and a half in total). I have absolutely no faith that the car and my things will be there when I come back but I have no other options.
In conclusion, I bought a $20,000 truck from them only to have lots of problems (that I'm pretty sure they knew about) appear within a few days. We won't get the truck because the engine is bad and 'they didn't know'. They have been exceedingly unhelpful the entire time and have disrespected our time by making us wait at least an hour any time we needed to speak with them. In my opinion, that dealership is full of thieving liars and you'd be much better off buying somewhere else.
Not recommended. Only help you with a co signer. My hours were reduced for the month of May and tried to get a deferred payment just for this month i dont qualify in these hard times. But will happily take my 525 dollars a month i pay. Go somewhere else they are not TRULY for the customer !
Worked with a sales manager name KC he was a liar rude and extremely disrespectful he attempted to intimidate my wife and I we went to look at a vehicle that was online they said it was sold we asked to look at two other cars he stated one was in the service department and one the engine was blown I asked when would the vehicle be out of service he said he cant find out he then proceeded to work a deal on a car we settled on the numbers were completely off from what we discussed I then told him no it wont work he stood over my wife and I snatched the paper off the table and said listen I'm gonna tell you what your gonna do i got up and walked out I called and asked to speak to the general manager and was told they dont have one this place is unprofessional and a waste of time

Literally said " since your done I need your salesman" and I was far from done! They assumed I had no money based on my credit. !!!!!!!! All I can say is never judge it's book by it's cover! This dealership posts false prices on the internet to get people to come into the dealership. Once you are there you find out that they require you to purchase a package of worthless add-ons costing thousands of dollars more. A kind of bait and switch tactic. Also the $495 down claim featured in their advertising is misleading at best. Very shady business practices. Don t give them your business. Drive on by.

My vehicle broke down. I rented one from Budget for a week. When i realized my vehicle was not going to have a fix i went to Fredy Kia. The vehicle i rented was a Kia Sorento. Was so impressed by it i decided to shop there. I filled out my application online and had them call me withing 10 minutes to set up an appointment. I went that same night and spoke with Mario Paniagua. I knew i needed a vehicle and so did he (after speaking for about 5 min). There was no pushy sales tactics, which i would of probably enjoyed since im a salesman myself. We went over what i wanted my payment to look like. He allowed me to look at the vehicles myself and once i decide ( well my wife) we moved foward with the paperwork. This visit took approximatly 2 hours. Which went by very fast. I would definately recommend Fredy Kia and Mario Paniagua. Oh one last thing, actually two more things. 1. My vehicle was brand new with 12 miles on it, so it had glue from the wrap. I could not take it off and didnt want to try anything to avoid ruining the new car. So took it in and Mario took the vehicle and washed it himself. 2 . I had a concern about one of the lights inside not coming on and Mario went to look in another vehicle to see if it was supposed to light or not. Keep in mind this was a month after the sale. Brought my Kia in for an engine recall after it seized up on a busy Houston highway and refused to offer a replacement vehicle. I bought a 2016 Kia Forte on 08/06/19 with Gabby being my salesperson. She was really amazing and had a good humor for my friend and mom who sat there while I was trying to get a car. They lie from the moment you walk in the door. While our credit had a couple of hits no way was it as poor as they said ours was. Specially after we walked on 18.9% and went elsewhere..... Where we got 3.9% and no down payment.

Excellent service Needed a good reliable gas saver. Recommended the Kia Forte which rates along side the Honda Accord . Actual fuel mileage is about 38 but whats cool is you onky spend around 30 to fill it up, depending on gas prices. Definitely will by another . Shout out to the finance department for explaining the added gap and warranty options.
Horrible location staff is extremely rude. Elizabeth was the person who helped me. Said I lied about my appointment when In reality she never placed the appointment when I called her to place it. But of course my time was wasted and I was spoken too very rudely. If this wasn t the dealership I bought my car (sadly) I d never come here again. One of many incidents that have happened in the short time I ve had my car.

I have had nothing but trouble since I bought my kia soul. I was lied to about features of the car just so they could make a sale. No one is ever available to speak to when you call. Service department is always too busy for you to be a walk in. Even if you have an appointment, expect to wait all day or to leave your car there. I will never purchase another kia.
My salesmen was Brian Martin assisted my husband and I with our car purchase. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. I would deffinently recommend him withyour car purchase. Thanks Brian
They run my credit and told me I was approved, then after a long negotiation the sales rep. tells me that I'm not approved after 10 inquiries. It has been 2 days since then and they're still running my credit making my credit score lower..
This dealership is such a "typical" dealership. I inquired 4 times before going up there because my credit isn't good nor did I have a down payment. Was told all 4 times that I was "guaranteed" approval because they work with alot of banks that finance people in my circumstance. Did not want to make the trip and waste any ones time. Get their and am given the run around. Still waiting on my "approval". Sales guy didn't even give me his card or name and told me he would text me my "approval". Called the next day and he was off. Transferred to several different extensions to find out something and still have heard nothing. This dealership needs to inform employees to not make promises and guarantees they can't keep. I know its their job to get people in but this is ridiculous. DO NOT recommend this dealership to my worst enemy!!!
Stopped by the location on Gulf Frwy and dealt with Rick Keeler because a friend referred me there, the service was excellent, prompt, and courteous. It was late so a deal was unable to be made, however I am returning in the near future to purchase a vehicle. Thanks Rick and Henry for all your hard work.
Started off with Chris and Reggie until Mario arrived to take care of us.. got real good deal on 2 cars a sportage and an optima fixed up the optima the way my daughter wanted it! And hats off to Gill in finance dept, he was really friendly and new what he was talking about.. Mario has been my salesman on my first and 2nd kias these were replacing those cars!
