I traveled 3 1/2 hrs to Fred Martin Ford in Ohio from Niagara Falls ny to buy my Saturn Outlook and let me say it was WELL worth the drive. My salesman was Alec Barone and the Finance Man I delt with was Scott Simpson. They were AMAZING. They went above and beyond to make sure All my needs were ment!!! I have an Amazing truck thanks to Them and Fred Martin Ford. When it s time to buy another vehicle I will make the drive again!!!!! If you want A GREAT Vehicle and GREAT Service Go to Fred Martin Ford You won t be disappointed!!!! Thanks Again !!!

Car buying has a history of not being the best thing to do with your day. However, my experience was about as painless as I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Curt was obviously ready to do whatever it took to complete the deal. The car was one of the better ones I had been looking at, so it was easy to wrap up.

We had the BEST experience! This whole journey could have quickly become very stressful, but everyone at Fred Martin worked with me on the phone while I was en route to the dealership, my husband was already there test driving, and I had two toddlers in tow on an hour drive to the dealership. The day could have quickly devolved into madness but it was a dream! Emilie is AMAZING. We will DEFINITELY go to her for our next car!
I was staying in Youngstown on work for 3 months and went to have my oil changed, tires rotated, cooling and brake system flushed. After getting my vehicle serviced I stopped to get gas and discovered the oil had not been changed nor the tires rotated although I had been charged for it and the paperwork showed they inspected the thickness of the brake pads and changed the sticker on the windshield. I went back and was given a free oil change the next time I brought my vehicle in and that's the only reason I went back. Upon going back the next time for an oil change the oil would not even touch the bottom of the hashmark on the dipstick. I asked to speak with the owner or for info on how to get in touch with him but instead they took me to the service manager. Upon telling the service manager all that has happened in my 2 visits all he said was "I'll talk to the guys in the service dept". I definitely would not recommend this place! Both of these things should never had happened but due to the way the paperwork was written up I have to think DISHONESTY!

A great experience and they helped me get the vehicle I wanted. 2020 Escape is a beautiful car. Is very comfortable and quiet like an Edge, only better economy. Has plenty of power and towing ability with tow package. Definitely would recommend Fred Martin Ford, and the all new 2020 Ford Escape. Really nice features they have added to this year's model.

Today service advisor dan killa made my day, when I saw how well detailed my car was. He also helped me with other issues i was having and kept me informed and was very knowledgeable. I'm not impressed very often, but today I was.
horrible service dept. very nice people but nothing got fixed correctly numerous times. i took my vehicle to another ford service dept, they fixed the problem correctly the first time. defintely wont go back there.

Curt Putnam was a true gentlemen and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He brought a test vehicle to my house in the Cleveland area from Youngstown, which was above and beyond. The drive was well worth it and I could not be happier with my new Ford Ranger.
I was in the process of buying a 06 Ml500 and was in talks with the dealer for about 2 weeks told him how interested I was and I felt like they never shared the excitement and treated me like i was just cashing out at wegmans not making a big purchase like a car! when i first talked to them they told me a number for the car with my credit and then asked me to sign forms and although they discussed the possibility that others were pursuing the car but he didn't make it seem pressing or a matter of beating the clock and so I continued to trust they would be keeping me updated on everything that would be going on and instead I have to go online to show someone the car I'm IN TALKS TO BUY only to see a sold tag on it. I'm upset to say the least and when I asked for an explanation I was told the bank wanted me in a "newer" car.... NEVER have I heard of this and as much as anyone would like to tell me otherwise I will tell you that because I'm only 21 I wasn't taken seriously. I'm sure almost no effort or close to none was made on the dealers end to get this deal done. Quite frankly that is absurd and blatant discrimination and I was hoping going to a nicer car dealership and dealing with cars like Mercedes Benz would mean I could get some professional respect but instead I received some of the most misleading service I've EVER experienced. to be told I would have an answer on whether or not I would get the car on thursday and then nothing and they sold it on saturday to someone else. Do yourself a favor. Find a dealership that realizes they are here to work for YOU!

Great place to buy or lease a new car. Make sure you ask for Kyle! He sold us our new car.. My father in law and brother in law all new 2016 Ford Fusions (yes they all got the same car) in a 7 day span. Had great incentives that we couldn't pass up!! Again ask for Kyle.. My last visit was with the service department. She was polite, efficient, and very friendly. The work that was completed was beautiful. My car was spotless. This is my first visit with the service department and I am very pleased. Since there was no mechanical work done it was not a stressful situation. However, I would feel confident that I would be treated with the same respect and professional attention if I did have a more serious situation. Ford Explorer is the best! inside to outside you can't ask for a better vehicle: roomy, seats fold down with many cargo options! It drives in snow like military equipment, always keeping me safe. I unfortunately wrecked my 2014 but walked away without a scratch, that Explorer kept me safe!!! I will never deviate from the Explorer... EVER :-) I had sales rep Curt Putnam and it was a smooth transaction... he found what I wanted, not what he had to sell! The service department guys there are great too, seamless transactions and on my way quickly when need an oil change or car wash!! Its like my own personal care car team!
My husband had bought in 2013 a new 150 fx he loves it and the service at Fred Martin is the best ! That was a factor for me in buying my 2016 Ford Fusion all wheel drive I got in on Saturday and love love it .The car rides beautiful . The salesman Curt Putnam is the best . My son also bought a Ford Explorer on the same Saturday and Curt Putnam was also the salesman he made it a very easy experience and I would like to thank him for that.We will be seeing him again in three years !

Had to hire an attorney and sue Fred Martin/Ford and won thank the Lord. Purchased a car from them and had alot of transmission issues, sales management did nothing to give me a good trade in value to trade for another car or truck and service never fixed issue. Would not buy here.
Stan Kosinski is one of the nicest guys I have met. Normally with car dealerships, there is a hassle having to negotiate and get the right price for a car. I told Stan the price I wanted to pay, and told him that was every dollar I owned, and he said we will make a deal. He even helped me call up and change my car insurance to get the best deal. Stan went well above and beyond what he was supposed to do. I talked with Nikki in financing and she gave me non-biased advice of how long I should finance for and building my credit. She and another co-worker told me the best way to not have to pay too much interest and getting credit. The dealership even takes a picture of you with your car, sends you a letter, and gives you free carwashes. This place could not get any better. Again, thank you so much Stan. You actually care, and help people in their future, as a car is a huge investment.
Do not buy Ford products. The cars look good. However, they put out warranties and recalls on cars then refuse to fix the car because it wasn't manufactured at the right time. Their warranties are sad as they do not cover anything unless you pay for more. If you are reading this review I recommend going next door to Greenwood Chevy. At least with Chevy you know what kind of company you are buying from.
Don't be fooled into buying one of their vehicles, they care about the sale not their customers. Take your business to Donnell and see how motivated they are to work with customers vs (fraud) Martin. Should also note that me and my wife have problems in both our vehicles that we purchased and they always needs service. I should have listened to my friend's and gone elsewhere.

I went to Fred Martin expecting to be denied...but in desperate need of a good running vehicle. Our sales rep Rob Droege treated us like family. All the staff was wonderful! Not only did they get us in the best vehicle I have ever owned , my battery died and they was able to help me immediately. I highly recommend them!! These guys are on top of their game!! Was on the west coast and sent them an email about a used Camaro and they responded with some details at 3am. They followed up the next day after my red eye flight. I ended up driving down to look at and buy the car the following day. Very helpful salesman (Kevin Jarvis) with a quick in and out transaction.

Worst service department ever!!!! My brand new truck had a door lock issue that the doors would freeze in cold temps and not allow doors to close or latch. The dealership had to order water diversion kits that took over two months to get the parts in stock. Once the parts were available, I called over a week in advance to Schedule an appointment to have a simple warranty repair made to my 2016 Ford f150. I made the appointment for today at 830am, I dropped my car off promptly at 830am. 6 hours later, I received a call saying my truck should be done in next several hours. There is no way this repair should have taken over 8 hours!
This dealership has no respect for anyone's time. I would run away from this dealership as fast as possible, unfortunately, you wont be able to drive away because your car will still be getting serviced.

Bought an O4 Durango from them and I have had issues since day one. I understand its over 10 yrs old but each time it was serviced, it ends up going back for the same problem them saying there is nothing wrong to begin with. Second time serviced there is a now bigger problem than when I first suspected. Would never recommend them and I certainly don't plan on purchasing from them again.

Drove out from Cleveland to look at a 2010 Range Rover. Upon the test driving the vehicle I noticed the check engine light was on and the vehicle was making several unusual noises. I asked to have it checked out by a Land Rover dealership before purchasing was told no, clearly they are hiding something or know the vehicle has a major problem. I d recommend to anyone to stay away from this dealership.

They wanted to charge me $200 to replace a door handle that they broke. I would not recommend Fred Martin Ford Service department to an enemy.
Purchased the warranty for the car that i got, weeks later AWD light came on, went to them, they can't fix it, sent me to Nissan in Boardman to get it fix. when everything got fixed and done. They said the warranty that i got doesn't cover the expense.... That's $1000 down the drain for the worthless warranty plus the $250 to get the AWD fixed. It's all smile and Angel faced till you sign that paper then when something goes wrong, they act like they don't even know you. Typical Money grabbing dealership

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2014 Ford Flex from Curt Putnam in September of 2014. We recently moved to the area, and I sincerely appreciate Curt's open and honest communication as my wife and I found the perfect vehicle for our needs, now and in the future. It's hard to know who you can trust, but from the get-go, I felt comfortable working with Curt. Curt and the team at Fred Martin Ford Mercedes Benz were more than accommodating, friendly, and wanted to be sure we were happy with our experience.
The only constructive feedback I have is that Curt wasn't aware that the tires on the vehicle were brand new (he told me they were used, but had been put on the vehicle during the certified process because the original tires were less than 50% of their tread depth). The tires were brand new, and they were a very nice SUV "performance tire," which would be great, but part of the reason I wanted the vehicle was for it's all-wheel-drive and inclement weather capabilities, to which the performance tires, considered a "summer tire," were ill suited. The good news is that Curt agreed to put brand new all season tires on the vehicle for me so that it was exactly what I was looking for. The other mis-step involved a misunderstanding about the interest rate that I could qualify for (Ford was running a 1.9% interest rate on certified vehicles at the time) but Curt was unaware that the Flex was not included in the models covered by that deal. It turns out that while I had a slightly higher interest rate, my monthly payments came out to be the same that we had agreed to previously, so ultimately it was a non-issue.
Since I lived an hour away, Curt went out of his way to deliver the vehicle to me once the new tires were taken care of and I was extremely satisfied when my new (to me) car arrived in my driveway with a fresh detail and a smile. Thanks for a great buying experience!
$330 to replace a radiator hose! Insane! You can't get it at the parts stores and they want $75 just for the hose! The same hose on a car 20 years old is $15 and a 20 min job in your own garage.
I had an appointment for my free oil change. I went in to get that taken care of and had really no issues at all. There was a slight wait time to get started, but that was just a minor nuisance. The computers were being updated by Ford and the attendant couldn't look up any of my information. If Ford would have chosen to update after hours it would have made it a whole lot easier. I asked if the mechanic could take my car around the block to diagnose a noise and they did. They said it was a wheel bearing, and they left it at that. They didn't try to pressure me into getting it fixed right away and I left after the work was complete. They even washed the car. Overall I was happy.
You are free to walk in the front lot to look at a few cars. When you go inside there is someone to greet you and ask if help is needed. Overall the experience was a good one. I have purchased three Fords in the past and I feel comfortable shopping there.
I like the sales associates but anyone you talk to, to get transferred to another department are always very short with you and everyone I have ever talked to just to set up an appointment to bring in my car always have an attitude even tho I'm very polite. I can't stress enough how this is every single time I call.

5 years ago I bought a new F150 from Fred Martin Ford. That sale was not an experience I was at all happy with. I was heavily taken advantage of and ended up paying thousands more than I wanted to but I didn't have a choice at the time. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when I went in to check out their COVID deals. I walked away with a more than fair price and they gave me more for my trade in then anyone else was willing to. They redeemed themselves and at this point if I plan to purchase another f150 down the road they'll earn my business for a 3rd time for sure.
