We purchased our new 2015 Ford Escape 4WD Titanium in March and had fantastic service all around. Trade in, financing, sales, delivery and training were all top notch. We still have had zero regrets in this purchase, including the selection of dealerships. dan, who we dealt with in the office was very professional, was very knowledgeable to answer all our questions.
he also thoroughly went over our bill in detail explaining what was done along with the prices.
what i did not like and what was very aggravating was the fact that we ordered the parts over the phone, paid for the parts over the phone and i must also stress that we are new customers. when calling to get an update on how much the service would be with the part that came in......NO ONE COULD LOOK IT UP BY MY NAME (which i don't understand because i made an apt in advance for the part to be serviced. THEY NEEDED THE "NAME" OF THE PART OR PART NUMBER, which embarassing enough couldn't remember...i also didn't have the part number....i just paid for whatever part was needed in advance by credit card.
SUGGESTION....U SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEARCH INFOR BY ALL MEANING: CUSTOMER NAME, PART NAME AND PART NUMBER

Illegally Ran my credit. Promised it would be removed from my credit report however it was never done. Someone with a similar name was trying to buy a car and my information was used. Can t trust this company. I have A+ credit and this now has a negative impact. I can not trust this brand. Beware of the shady finance people and sales negligence.

Took my vehicle in for its usual servicing had an ugly mark on the side of the vehicle from tree sap. Drove in with the ugly mark and left with a clean washed vehicle and no visible mark on the side of the vehicle!!! How did they do it?!!! I always prefer Fred Martin Ford for their proficient, professional fine tuned service. I think they have customer service down to a science. Won't take my vehicle anywhere else!!! This place is an absolute scam!! They would try to sell salt to a snail just to meet their goals per month! By far the worst experience ever! The cars look nice but before you can make your first payment it breaks down and they do absolute nothing about it!! My opinion STAY AWAY!! When I first came in I waited forever for the sales rep I was meeting with. After it was miscommunication thought out the whole process!!

Update From the original post about this Jeep, it is now dead, transmission went at 76,000 miles, was probably the issue when i told them it lost speed on the freeway when I first purchased it
Although this car I bought is driving me completely insane and I would rather give it back and get something different, I can say that everyone here has been very nice through my frustration. They are doing everything they can to resolve the issues I am having with this car.
Recieved my car back September 29th. It still pulls to the right while driving, the brake is still squeaking, was told it was doing it because it sat for a few days there, well a month and half later and I drive everyday, it squeaks every time I hit the brake and yet again, after the tire seal was fixed, it is not holding the tire pressure. I get more and more angry every time I make a car payment that I paid so much for this vehicle. At this point, I am frustrated to no end.

I thought I might want a Focus but NO! The Fiesta is a much better styled car and the inside is just beautiful, also. It has everything! I love this car!!!!

sold me a 2003 ford windstar for 12500. assured me that mr. martins daughter previously owned vehicle. 17 days after purchase the blend door on heating system broke. they finally agreed to repair however they were going to use a used part. A new part was only 62.50. While my van was in their possession and their repair bay was under construction, one of my tires went flat. Without contacting me, they used a patch kit on it. The following day, while on highway, the tire they "repaired" blew and was not repairable. Within the first 30 days of having vehicle, I had to put 800 worth of repairs into vehicle. Feel like they took advantage of me. In the end the Kelly Blue Book value is 8200.... they sold it to me for 4300 over actual value. Would not recommend to anyone!!!

bought a used mazda 6 from here 2 weeks ago from dealership. Went on test drive and smelled something but dealer insisted it wasnt our car and then showed us the clean car fax. Got back and was informed the car was "as is" but given the car fax I decided to try and go ahead but asked to bring the price down some because of that reason and because it had some serious rust spots but was basically told no bc of KBBV and I sadly wish I would of walked there...2 days later dealer text asking how I liked the car and I said so far seems ok...then litterally the next day the check engine light came on and we ended up find oil all through the air filter as well as all ur fluids being almost completely empty so we filled all those replaced the mass air flow system as well as pcv valve which fixed that issue but not the check engine light going off. We also had to replace all breaks as they were completely bare. I made an apt to take it to get it looked at and the day of appt the dealer txt me again asking about the car and so I informed him of all the issues so far but was very nice about it hoping they'd say to bring it in and let them take a look at it NOTHING (again i know bought as is but have some morals) well I get it looked at and am told there was a huge crack in one of the hose and another hose that wasnt even attached to where it was supposed to be. Considering this car came from a big dealer ship one would think it would of been looked over before putting it up for sale and so if they were aware of these issues there should of been no reason for them to come down on the price or heck even inform us of these issues considering we let them know this car would be driving to Atlanta when I move. It really is a Shame this is how business is done these days and again I understand it was as is but in all reality it shouldn't of even been priced what it was priced at unless they had fixed those issues so hopefilly now 2 weeks later I'll finally be able to actually use my car....if you are thinking about buying here please bring anyone you know that is car smart and knows what to look for bc this type of business is unacceptable in my eyes bc qfter all the money I've had to put into the repairs I've way over paided on this car by 2g that I didnt really have and am now wishing I would of just taken that money and added it to my car savings and bought a better car. Just watch buying as is bc they will say anything to make you believe your the one getting the deal (like showing the carfax for mine qnd how clean it was) and in reality your prob getting stuck w a car that is gonna have more cons then pros.....lesson learned on my part just want other potential customers to be aware of how they are

Horrible time at Fred Martin. Was really excited to Purches a Truck from them. It was the exact model I wanted and the price online seemed fair. So I got in contact with a dealer and made a good relationship and I felt comfortable enough to drive from Columbus all the way to Youngstown. After getting all the financing approved through there dealership I test drove the truck and found that the breaks were practically none existent and the frame was severely rusted. None of this was ever mentioned or shown in photos before hand. After negotiating on pricing for obvious reasons I went lower than what they were asking. We went back and forth on pricing and once I showed I would not budge they then told me the truck was unsafe to sell and could not sell it to me that day. But they would have had no problem selling to me earlier for their higher price... After realizing how much of a sham this was I left as quickly as possible. HUGE waste of time!!!!!!!!

I have been to many dealerships in my day and not one of them heard what I had to say, til now! When I went to Fred Martin Ford I was expecting the same thing as before, you have no/bad credit and we can't help you. But, Rob O' Bryant listen to every word I said and went to work finding a car that I would be comfortable with, and with payments that I could afford. I ended up with a beautiful 2009 Chevrolet HHR that is truly outstanding. Not only did Mr. O'Bryant listen to me but, made sure that I had every option and at a price i could live with. After signing the paperwork and getting the final ok, Mr O'Bryant informs me that I was also entitled to 2 free car washes a month for the next year! Wow! About two week after I had my car I received a package from Fred Martin Ford in the mail. To my absolute delight, it was a calendar with my new purchase and I on a beautifully laminated calendar along with a business card for me as the owner of the HHR.
I've had the HHR about a month and a half now and have had it washed twice by Fred Martin Ford. I was treated very well and really am pleased that there is one honest car dealer in my area. I have told all my friends and family about Mr. O'Bryant and how well Fred Martin Ford has treated me, and have urged them to only go there and ask for Rob O'Bryant when they need a vehicle.
I now have a reliable car and know that if I should ever have a problem, Fred Martin Ford will be there for me.

I have owned only GM vehicles in the past and I am very dissatisfied with their products and service. I was very impressed with the overall experience at Fred Martin, from the sales staff to the financing dept. The selection of vehicles was impressive. They made the experience of buying a car fun and easy for me. I was given more than a reasonable amount on trade and they were much help with getting me financed. There was also a minor scratch on the vehicle, which almost went unnoticed by me. The service dept promptly fixed it and was out the door. Highly recommend Fred Martin and switching to Ford.
The dealer was very patient in showing several trim levels and explaining the features as well as permitting the test drive of a number of vehicles. One of the worst dealers I have ever worked with. Wayne, a sales rep, was one of the most arrogant and disrespectful people I have ever talked to.
After literally less than 24 hours of discussing a deal on a car I received texts from him saying, quote, it s a yes or no answer not a maybe I don t need the practice, make a decision . After discussing this with him, he yelled in the phone at me in a way I could not even imagine a salesman talking to a customer.
Congratulations to the salesman who sold the vehicle I was interested in; he likely talked to the customer with respect and understood circumstances. I would highly recommend no one to work with this dealer, as even the sales managers thought they had a right to talk down to me.
For record, I never asked them to hold the car and was never upset that they sold it. It simply comes down to the fact Wayne was a 15 year old girl over text message and how he treated me.
Wayne - Learn how to talk to customers and understand the fact you essentially sent threat messages to me saying I need to sign the papers.
I look forward to buying a car elsewhere!

The sold me a car that had a recall and never told me about it. Every time we had them look at the car they broke something. The first time it was the window wipers. The second time they knocked off the side view mirror. They told me the fob was after market and they could not fix it when I told them it was broken. All it needed was a battery. I should have known they were not reputable when they told me to lie to the finance company about the down payment. DO NOT buy from them!!!
First off, Alec was a very helpful salesman, the best that works there. I would reccomend him to anyone. He is the only one there that i would deal with. At first i was told by another salesman that the dent that was put in the truck by the dealership would be fixed at the dealership. Then just before purchasing i was told that i would have to pay out of pocket to fix their mistake. Got a decent deal on my truck just being it was the last day of the month, other than that i didnt feel that even the owner himself actually cared about getting you in the vehicle that you liked and could afford.
