The sales rep. we had, Eric Houser, was so helpful. He spent several hours with us, explaining this new car's accouterments. We had a test drive. The vehicle chosen had a list price lower than the "Costco Price". Not a problem as you can guess.
The finance manager at the time perpetuated the Foothills business joke that if you bought a car there they would pay for a dinner out. I knew it was a joke when we went in since one of the guys told it to me and winked. After I had written the check for the car, the finance manager came on so strong with proclaiming the truth of the statement, and because it was already 9 pm and we were hungry, I believed him. He then leaned over his desk in my direction, and boldly told me we would be paying for our own dinner. I felt humiliated. He did say he felt embarrassed.. I looked him right in the eyes and said, GOOD and left without even shaking hands.

The service department handles my Lexus on a regular basis and are ALWAYS helpful and considerate of the needs. Not a ripoff dealership. Costs less to service here than at home on my own. Plus, they offer coupons that you can earn for the next visit.

Canadians not welcome!!

Canadians not welcome!!
My daughter and I wanted to purchase a vehicle from this dealership today so that my daughter could drive it from Washington state to Denver, Colorado where my daughter is attending her third year of university. The dealership "refused" to sell the vehicle to us because we were Canadians and we couldn't own a vehicle in the United States of America! Can you believe that! After I told them that my daughter had a SSN as she received one so she could work on campus, based on that information they said it would be "ok" to sell us a vehicle, but we had to import it into Canada. I then explained again to the salesman that we weren't taking the vehicle into Canada but rather driving it to Denver, Colorado where is would be registered. This seemed to be beyond his comprehension of thinking ability as he told us "no" we had to take it back to Canada and pay import tax. At this point I started to wonder if the manager (the salesman was relieved by this point because everything was way too complicated for him to mentally digest) was able to comprehend our real intent of driving the vehicle to Denver and not Canada, would finally resonate in his brain. After five minutes or so, and speaking slowly to the manager he finally understood that we were taking the car to Denver, CO and not Canada he then proceeded to explain we had to pay Washington state tax. I find it odd that I have to explain the details of state taxes to a manager of a Toyota dealership. At this point, the situation was too far beyond his comprehension and I believe his brain was going to internally combust. A Canadian, buying a vehicle in Washington State to register it in Colorado must surely pay Washington state tax even when the buyer can prove residency for Colorado State. Ladies and Gentleman, save your precious time and money and skip this dealership. They struggle here to understand there state laws and rules and foreign ownership. They were rude and lacked knowledge on industry standards. We ended up purchasing a vehicle at Sims Honda who were accommodating and patient. They understood the laws and rules of Washington state and foreign purchases. FYI, the end result is that my "Canadian" daughter is now driving a vehicle that was purchased in Washington state (from Sims Honda) without paying Washington state taxes. Thank you Sims Honda!

Michael Jaswal would be my go to for any sales needs. He is A+ when it comes to low preasure and product knowledge. Also he takes the time to listen to you and not just sell you what he wants to sell. Very relaxing experience and overall i would come back again in the future because of it! Thanks for your time Michael!

We were very satisfied with our experience. Hugh really worked with our cash offer, and we ended up with the deal we were looking for. For the first time ever, the paper work only took under 35 min., and everything was explained to us in a way that we understood it all. We look foward to working with them in the future.

Wow! Great service here at Foothills Toyota in Mt Vernon, let me tell you why:

After spending 1 week online educating myself on the rav4 and all the different models and packages they had, my husband and I stopped in to Marysville Toyota, a place where customer service doesnt exist if you ask me. After spending 45 minutes on their lot, with no greeting or acknowledgment of any sort, I decided to see if it would be worth my time to drive to Mt Vernon. Now by this time I had already made up my mind to purchase the rav4 2020 that was sittimg on the lot, it was a pretty dark gunmetal and stood out from the red flame counter version of itself. I had cash in hand, but nobody who wanted to sell it to me, so i pulled up the website for Foothills Toyota.
As I stood next to the dark grey gunmetal rav4 2020 in Marysville, I quickly scrolled through the inventory on the site for Mt Vernon, and found the rav4 2020 I had been drooling over all week on the toyota.com site. It was the Blueprint xle premium rav4 2020, and Foothills Toyota had it on their lot. My husband had me call to see if they still had it, even though he had told me NO all week, due to the difference in price.
As i stood there on the phone, still not acknowledged in Marysville, I called Foothills Toyota and Hugh M. answered the phone. He assured me they did have the rav4 2020 blueprint premium on site and he would have the keys in hand and ready when i arrived.
When we arrived , Hugh was wonderful. Not only was he standing right outside eith the keys, but he was super nice and friendly. He answered questions and spoke with my husband and I in depth. There was no pressure to buy. He took the time we needed to cover all of our questions and concerns. Hugh was well schooled on all of the bells and whistles on this model. He made sure to educate us on all of the features. He let us know about upgrades we could get, but didnt pressure us when we knew we didnt want them. He accepted our response and we moved on with ease. Hugh was very personable. We were offered refreshment, spoken with, and not down too, treated with respect and care. It didnt feel as if we were strangers meeting for the first time, it felt like Hugh was a friend helping me find something I was looking for, as if I had brought him along with me to make this purchase.
When we moved into the finance department it was more of the same. Kyle L. was a pleasure to work with. He covered all of the packages and warranties without pressure. We didnt feel uncomfortable or pushed into getting anything extra that we didnt want. Again, it felt like we were a guest at a friends house, instead of being served dinner, we got to choose options for the care of our new addition to the family, reliable transportation.
I want to also thank Jess for his role in making this a huge success! The team of Hugh, Kyle, and Jess delivered a bucklist fulfillment that still, a week later, has me floating on clouds.
I didnt want a new car. I am perfectly happy driving my 8yr old dodge avenger, but my husband wanted me in something safer that would handle better on wet slippery roads. Now a week later, the dodge sits parked, and I have my new rav4 2020 xle premium in Blueprint.
Thank you Hugh, Kyle and Jess for your great customer service. Thank you for being personable and the extra care you give to your customers.
Thank you Foothills Toyota for giving your team the tools they need to be successful, and employing such great associates.

When shopping for a new car my wife and I spent a lot of time looking around for a good SUV. She was very excited to try out the RAV-4 and it, along with two other cars, had comprised her short list of cars she was interested in. While the car seemed excellent and Toyota's reputation for reliability certainly precedes itself, I was underwhelmed with the salesperson who showed us the car. While many other salespeople did a great job of explaining all the ins and outs of their car and the technical aspects that are relevant to the decision ours did very little "selling" and I think we left without much knowledge about what we had seen. With the SUV marketplace being so crowded with excellent choices, we left with little to excite us about getting in a new Toyota over other similarly priced options. Ultimately I think it cost Toyota the sale.

I appreciate that I wasn't "pushed" to buy a car that day and I appreciate a more laid back salesperson but I would suggest to other shoppers to be assertive with potential questions when sitting with the salesperson. There is certainly a lot to be excited about in their inventory and I wish Foothills Toyota the best of luck!

My parents and I have been very loyal customers here for years but sadly will not be going back. I got a prepaid 5 oil change card from here for my Prius and used the card twice, I then sold that Prius and purchased a new one.. thinking it would be no problem to transfer my unused PAID for oil changes to my new Prius. This was not the case and I was told sorry but it s not transferable . I m certain you are able to transfer it to my new Prius as I already paid for these oil changes, but they would rather just rob me of my money. So do not fall for their scams of prepaying for services and thinking they will be any kind of accommodating if anything changes. Also they charge 3X more than practically anywhere else you would go, which might be worth it if the service was excellent, but I have not experienced that lately. My mom had a car getting an oil change and asked them to check the battery life and they said no problem. Then once her service was done she asked about it and the lady checking her out said they definitely wouldn t of done that because it takes too long for them to do during an oil change , yet they checked off the sheet saying they did check it and it all checked out fine. It ended up not being fine and she needed a new battery. Also we had another car taken here to get an estimate on an engine replacement and ended up bringing it somewhere else as they quoted us 3X more than the place we ended up going to. Overpriced for poor quality service and lazy staff. Make sure to check around and you will see what I have!

I dealt with multiple sales persons and none of them were willing to negotiate on price/extras and I ended up paying near MSRP price. That being said, I was able to get exactly what I wanted and was given help through the entire process (first time new car buyer).

I would recommend the dealership but don't expect any handouts or freebies.

I bought my Prius C at Foothill Toyota and have had it regularly serviced there for the past 5 years. Customer service has been somewhere between so-so and annoying. Today I received the best customer service I have ever received at Foothills from Andre Soltero. He smiled. He was very efficient while being friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and good at explaining "stuff ". I am encouraged to return even though this is my last servicing on my maintenance contract. Thank you Andre for making my day better than it might have been.

PS The 2nd staff person was occupied when I approached his desk but acknowledged me and explained that he needed to take care of something else before he could help me. That has not always been my experience and was appreciated.

Just bought a new Tacoma! Alex was a great sales person to work with. We really had a lot in common! He listened to all of my requirements and "must haves" and was patient with every objection and question I had. I test drove several Tacomas before finally deciding on The One. Kurt in Finance was also awesome! I have never had a person be so honest and up front with what I needed to make my truck loan work just for me.

I bought a new Highlander in 2008 and it's been the best car I've ever owned! The Team at Foothills is committed to your best experience and goes out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. The two times I've had problems, the Service Manager, Randy Jager stepped in and called the Regional Toyota Rep on my behalf to get the problem not only fixed, but at no cost to me! Now that's service!!

I get all my service done there because they know what they're doing and use genuine Toyota parts. Sure, maybe it costs a little more, but the peace of mind is worth it. I'm definitely going back for my next new car -- but Toyotas last so long, I don't know when that will be -- soon I hope!! A new one with all the new safety technology would be sweet!

My car buying experience here was very positive. The salesman, Peter, was very patient, personable, and helpful. The finance guy, Ed, was a really cool guy and super low-pressure. Jeff, the business manager, was great. I ended up with a better deal than I originally asked for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Good people.

I was very impressed with the service department, and especially Trevor. At 7:30, on my way to training, my truck started acting very weird on I5. Enough that I knew something was very wrong. I drove straight to Foothills, with no appointment, and was greeted by Trevor. He took me in, got me set up with a rental car quickly, and I even made it to the training on time. Well done. Highly recommended. He went above and beyond for me.

From the moment I contacted this place I have felt nothing but confidence and security from the three main staff that helped me. Brandon kept in touch everyday, a wonderful lady named Maddy helped me through the whole process and was very patient. Keun(?) was sooo informative and knowledgeable with first time buying it was absolutely wondeful!
What's even better, even though I was involved in an accident that totaled my car a few months later, when I visited them for help they sat me down and told me all the cautionary steps I should take now that I'm talking to my attorney and Insurance company. Whatever I asked they were able to negotiate and help me, and I didn't expect such perfect results.
I will be visiting them later today to try and get another car from them if they have another like my old car because they're letting my GAP coverage roll over to this new one. :)

***WARNING*** This is a review from very dissatisfied customer. I had a meeting with Owen Siegrist about a pickup that I was interested. Owen was polite and a great person to work with, and gave me the impression that I was dealing with an outstanding establishment. I ran into problems when I informed Owen that I would not finalize any transactions tonight. I believe that all major decisions require an appropriate amount of thought and scrutiny. Shortly thereafter I was confronted with by the manager, who was the standard used car salesman (my personal nightmare). He upped the pressure, and when I didn t fold, he lost interest. I was glaringly obvious that he was more interested in making a deal, than finding me the right vehicle.

If I had dealt exclusively with Owne, he would have made a sale. Maybe not that day, but eventually, when I was satisfied with the purchase. When I was confronted by the manager I knew my interests were not important, only making the deal. I would love to go overboard slandering this individual, as he encompasses everything I loathe about car salesmen, but I will resist. You will NEVER gain my business with high pressure sales tactics, in fact you will accomplish the opposite.

I am not the type to write reviews, but I expected better service from this establishment. I need to know that my business is appreciated, and that interests and concerns are important. I am an extremely loyal customer, and will stay with a business that is exceptional. I I'm old-fashioned in this sense. Foothills Toyota has officially lost my respect, and my business.

From start to finish, this was an awesome experience. Jasmine was timely and respectful in her contact with us and her emails were welcoming and informative. When we met in person, we noted all staff respected COVID protocols, which we appreciated. The buying process was seamless and from start to finish including the test drive was under two and a half hours. This dealership was so well run, professional, and friendly...not an ounce of that vibe that always makes me run from a dealership. Best experience I have ever had buying a car.

The seat in my Camry was ripped in the center of the passenger seat after being worked on by one of the mechanics. He denied it even though my husband and I could see a tool in his back pocket that was in the perfect position to have made the tear when he worked under our dash. It was a very large tear, not something we would not have noticed in my nice clean almost new pride and joy. I complained all the way up the chain of command until reaching the owner. She wrote me a condescending letter saying she believed her mechanic over my husband and myself. They would not repair the damage. I am writing this many years after this happened. My husband has since passed on and I have retired from my career as an RN. This incident still upsets me.

I was in the market for a brand new Camry Hybrid. ...

I was in the market for a brand new Camry Hybrid. I emailed 7 or 8 dealers asking for a price quote to give me their rock bottom price on the Camry. Most dealers responded with an email back to call them for a price, and only about 3 dealers responded with a specific price. Maddy the internet manager at Foothills Toyota was one to respond, and she quoted me a very attractive price. I might also add Foothills had the best selection by far of new Camry Hybrids. I brought my wife in and Maddy showed us the car that she had quoted the price on. We took it for a test drive and loved it. We sat down and Maddy brought out the contract with the price she had quoted us 5 days earlier. No hassle, no pressure what a great experience. Maddy even went out of her way (on her day off I might) add to pick me up at the train station the next morning so that I could drive my other car home. I'm over 50 yrs old and have purchased many new cars and this was definitely my best buying experience ever. Highly recommended!!!!!. .

My father bought a 2017 Tacoma from this dealership. I took over the payment for the truck. Very happy with the Tacoma. The reason for the 3 stars is the service department, it is not a very professional environment. I spent a lot of money on that truck and I'm entrusting it in the hards of the service department. Everyone's uniforms are dirty, and looks like a bunch of highschool kids vaping and changing oil. Nothing against younger guys servicing my truck, but your representing Toyota. Be more professional.

Respectfully,
Aaron.

I went in to buy a used Tacoma this past weekend at Foothills Toyota. The experience was quick and efficient. All employees involved were helpful and friendly and there was no pressure as far as making the sale. I wasn't really pressured on the up-sale end of things and if I said no on something they did not try to force it upon me. All in all they seem like a very reputable place and I would recommend going there if you are in the Western Washington area.

I called to discuss a used car they had for sale. Had listed a price and said going to auction so i asked if there was any flexibility in price at all to save them sending to auction by end of week. Sales person said none at all. Seems odd to send a car to auction for exactly the price they have listed at. Even if he had said there could be some movement on price and come see it and we see if we work out a deal i would go take a look. Maybe sales is not in his calling.

Knowledgeable service staff has me feeling welcomed and not feeling like they're trying to take advantage. Dealer service prices aren't cheap but I've learned the hard way too many times, you pay for what you get. I've had them replace a clutch, full tune up, and come here for my oil changes. Will keep coming back for as long as I have a Toyota.

My mother brought her 2005 4runner in for a check ...

My mother brought her 2005 4runner in for a check engine light. After checking the vehicle they determined she needed a new catalytic converter and new brakes. After installing the brakes Foothills called for her to pick up her car, thankfully the catalytic was on back order. After paying and picking up the 4Runner she drove home to Concrete and her brakes had a failure almost causing a serious accident. She called to explain what happened. The service department accused her of driving over a branch or other debris and that s why the brakes weren t working correctly. After arguing with them they towed it back and found that the brake calipers and rotors hadn t been fastened properly causing them to fall apart on her way home driving 55 mph on highway 20. They still charged her full price, but mysteriously the catalytic didn t need replaced and they reset the check engine light. Foothills likes to take advantage of 70 year old women and I would not recommend doing business with Foothills. Their shotty untrustworthy work and service is very bad form. Instead of replying to this post make it right with my mom!

We were dissapointed when a salesman named bill or ben... not really sure what his name was... when he asked some discriminatory questions. We are asians and he questioned what our immigration status is in the US, if we can legally own a car here and if we are of legal age. Questions that are irrelevant and are racial profiling. I'm sure he would never ask that if we are white but he judged us by our appearance---why would we go there in the first place if we can't legally own a car? just so you know, our group who came there are consisting of american citizens and legal permanent residents, got degrees, and have a good paying job...too bad, you just lost your potential buyers.

Let me start by saying that I have purchased 2 vehicles here. Also, I tried to communicate the following issues with management (Derek) before I wrote this review. Please be advised the service department does not perform services completely. Filters were not replaced, tires not rotated, BRAKES NOT BLED- these things are charged whether or not the mechanic does the work. I adhere to factory recommended maintenance protocols. Currently at Foothills Toyota I find the service department unsafe. I had other issues as well but want this review to be concise so other parents aren't driving with half done services putting their children at risk as was done with my family.

Just purchased a brand new 2016 Prius from Brett Lange and am very happy with our new car. Brett went to considerable effort to find just the model we wanted and introduced us to Zack who gave us an introduction to all the new features to make sure we were comfortable with the car. The finance manager, Chris, made closing the deal as painless as possible.

This is the third Prius we have bought from Foothills and we always have had our vehicles serviced there, too. Jon Evans and his team in the service department are always patient with our questions. All in all, doing business with the Foothills folks has been pleasant, even given the drive from Coupeville!

Great Service at Foothills Toyota Burlington Wa.
Dec. 29th, 2020
We had a lady named Jolene in the service department help us with servicing our vehicles, she was very professional, made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions. Great asset to any company.
On December 29, 2020 my husband and I brought on our 2017 Toyota Tundra truck to have new brakes replaced and we are very pleased with the work performed on the brakes. We had also brought our 2018 Toyota Carmy for an errand car while his truck was being serviced and I had mentioned that my right drivers side tire might have a slow leak as it was going low in the cold weather. Ms. Jolene had my car tire inspected and sure enough a nail in the center of the tire. Patch was placed which saved my new tire. So thankful for the service we were given this day and other days.
Thank you, Satisfied Customers

Due to an extended road trip, my car was almost 2k miles over the scheduled routine 65k mile service. It was not due for an oil change, but needed one.
The dealer suggested they perform the 70k mile service to avoid any cost to me as I had pre-paid for the service plan with my car purchase. They were still able to add the oil change to my scheduled service time and have me out of there in a little over an hour. They also replaced my key fob battery with a new battery I had previously purchased at no charge.

I can honestly say for the first time ever I was impressed with my sales person. I felt he took the time with us and went out of his way to make sure my wife and I got what we were looking for. His commitment and dedication was out of this world. He took the time to listen and understand the situation we have been in, always pleasant and very knowledgeable. I actually bought the car and not only am I happy with it, but Im not stressed. Thank you Mr Brett Lang and all those who helped my wife and I for a wonderful experience, we will be back again for Sure. I'm not good with names but to the whole team last night Thank you!

Exceptional. Everyone I spoke with was polite, quick, helpful and competent. My advisor was Trevor, he never once spoke to me as if I knew nothing about vehicles. He played off our conversation to better understand me as a customer. I spoke to the cashier and the receptionist as well, who were just as helpful and polite! Thank you Foothills Toyota! You guys made my day!

Hugh was our sales rep. and served us extremely well. He included Sharon in all our conversations and encouraged her participation. Not all sales reps. do that.

We knew the Toyota Highlander was the unit we wanted and Hugh helped us determine which trim level had the features we were seeking.

I have purchased more than 60 new cars and 4 used. I am not tolerant of the gamesmanship many dealerships employ. Hugh and Foothills Toyota displayed none of those. This dealership has treated me right in the past and did so again. I recommend the dealership and Hugh, specifically, very highly.

The Service Dept. is also exceptional.

If you are seeking a Toyota, Foothills will treat you with respect and so will Hugh.

We got a great deal on a certified Toyota. The sales rep was great he did his best! However the sales manager was very rude. While closing the sale he offered us warranty and gap insurance. I explained to him I had bought gap through my credit union and I did not want any extra warranty. As soon as I said no. His whole attitude change towards me. He was so mad and upset. I felt so uncomfortable and disrespected. No had shake or a thank you. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I took my car in for service and found the Service Reps very professional and courteous. The waiting area was very nice and everyone was social distancing and wearing face masks - important in these pandemic times.

I am 100% satisfied with my experience at Foothills Toyota. Especially my salesman, Zack Melillo & his manager Jess Hanson who crunched all the numbers for my lease. I would recommend the dealership to anyone who is located in the PNW & looking for a new or used vehicle!

Not having a huge down payment or stellar credit can leave a person feeling a lack of confidence, super intimidated by a dealership & the idea of buying a new car. Those feelings vanished after talking with my knowledgeable salesman Zack, he made everything easily understandable. He reassured me that he wanted nothing more than to see my daughters & I riding in a safe, reliable car that I didn't have to worry about constantly.

Zack asked me all the right questions, got a feel for what I wanted & what I could realistically afford (he even toted around my huge double stroller to make sure it would fit into the trunk of each car! ). The no pressure sales approach really let me process all the options & information I was given.

I have never owned a brand new car & honestly never thought I would. Zack & his positive outlook on things really gave me a confidence boost. I ended up leaving with a monthly payment I can afford & a brand new 2016 Scion iA

The staff at Foothills Toyota genuinely cares about people & enjoys seeing the huge smile on the faces of their clients when they hand them a set of keys
