Good selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Good selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Since new management has taken over this place is amazing. Support them folks!! Spend local so we can continue to develop stores like this in our community.
I'm not a "gamer" per se, but I was looking for something (Exploding Kittens) so I stopped in. The staff were very helpful and answered my novice questions about several other games as well. They were really nice and I never felt intimidated or stupid. Will go back for other games in the future.
They had a good selection of D&D and Pathfinder minis in stock.
It's got decent hours, the staff average out as okay, but they never restock anything. I was looking for some grid paper on Week 1, picked it up and went home. Wanted another roll, it wasn't stocked on Week 2, or Week 3, and as of Week 4 they still haven't stocked any. Books aren't restocked either. I picked up a newly released book and a month later I noticed it was still out of stock, as it was the only one they had purchased. First come, first serve, I guess. Game stores are always crappy in some department, and I guess in this case it's having what you want to buy.
They do order stuff for you if you ask, but if I was going to order stuff through amazon I would have done that myself.
Friendly cree even has Friday Night MTG and much more check it out
Great game store. Clean, with a friendly staff, and great selection. Good sized play area too.
TK Games is a fantastic gaming store with amazing people! By far my favorite place to buy minis, dice, table top games, and reaper paints.
Great prices and staff is great. Wide selection of games and cards.
Workers were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Tons of board games to test out and buy. They also have an enormous collection of Magic Cards and people are nearly always playing in the back. Always a bussle of people playing and talking games in the store.
Very helpful and absolutely nothing negative to complain about.
The Menomonee Falls location is one of the best gaming stores I've been to. Their board game selection ranges from popular Settlers-esque titles to Eurogames to glorious Ameritrash. The selection of items for tabletop RPG (especially Pathfinder) is impressive. The staff and even clientele has been friendly and helpful.
Since new ownership, I have shopped here several times, a positive experience each time. Competitive prices, clean store, and friendly clientele. The two x-wing tournaments I've played here have not only been competitive, but fun!
Friendly, helpful staff, great selection at good prices.
Has loads of gaming space. A perfect place to host an RPG or just show up for open gaming.
Andy was super friendly and knowledgeable. This is our new go to spot for Magick and other games.
First off the store in Brookfield is awesome, so I had high hopes for this one. However, the atmosphere as soon as I walked in was one of dread. The staff instantly made me feel like I wasn't wanted there and the gaming selection isn't that great. The final nail in the coffin was the pricing, I went in looking for dice, the price on the shelf said $3.85 yet rang up $10.51, MISLEADING!
The staff was friendly, and very informative. They were able to answer all of my questions, and I ended up finding a great new game based on my conversation with the staff. I highly recommend to all.
Clean, big selection, and kind relatable staff. From one owner to another, keep up the good work!
Cool place HUGE selection saw some cool board games and they were nice enough to let me hang up a poster for a video game tournament happening
Helpful staff that knows what they're talking about. Massive selection of different games. Competitive prices. Good people. Good aesthetic. Has X-wing, figurines, dnd, painting kits, and more. You can play board games with other people here and test out a display game or two. Large number of tables, always enough elbow room. Well run tournaments, people know where to go and what to do. Amazing prize give aways during tournaments like pre-release, owner takes good care of all players. Problems are resolved immediately. Store welcomes new players. Feels good to be there.
Great place for games and the owner, Bob, is great.
Very friendly staff and regular crowd. Has become my go to for magic the gathering since getting back into the game.
Many board games, table top games, card games and fun employees. Large playing area.
Friendly neighborhood board game and trading card store. Staff is always polite, friendly and helpful. Great place to go for tabletop gaming supplies.
Fantastic place for tournaments & Dungeons and Dragons. Very well maintained storefront with a small but colorful variety of gaming equipment.
A fantastic, community-focused game store! The staff is outstanding and very knowledgeable. Everyone will feel at home at this amazing place!
Knowledgeable staff, good selection for a small store. Would recommend
Laid back atmosphere, good for trading MtG cards. Singles organization is kinda a mess but the prices are fair. The new guy is helpful
Lots o' fun in Brookfield and Menominee falls. Like the games you can join in on.
Im a 30 yr old just getting back into gaming. When i went there i was greeted by a young teen gentleman who was very knowledgeable and helped me get exactly what i needed! Will be back!
I love the community that the owners have cultivated here. There are weekly gaming events and even birthday parties hosted in the back room. It is easy to make new friends! Good to visit if youre into DnD, Magic the Gathering, or just want to try a new board games. Ive found 1 or 2 player games for just me and my partner but also games for big parties with 18+ players. There is also a free library if you want to try a game in the store before buying it. The library has lots of titles ranging from classics to oscure to out of print.
Amazing staff. Very friendly and will help with whatever you need. Very easy to spend a lot.
I had the pleasure of observing Bob when he managed the old store, and I have to say, just as the quality of his work was consistently excellent then, so is the quality of his new store. From gorgeous new displays for cards, to the great use of wall space to show off new and flashy titles, to the cool new events being run daily, this store is a top notch example of what happens when a good manager becomes a great store owner.
I look forward to patronizing this establishment each time I return to Milwaukee, and as a store owner myself I am glad to count Bob among the newest of my colleagues.
This place is the bee's knees! If one must fill their nerdy addiction, shop here and help your local business out
Great selection of RPGs and lighter big/small box games. Nice collection of party games too. Even though I knew exactly what I wanted, staff was still very helpful.
I have visited this place in the past and the concentration was heavily on Magic The Gathering... I would say now, they have one of the most complete and deep collection of board games and party games in the greater Milwaukee area.
Wonderful place to spend an afternoon playing games.
This place rocks. Honestly one of the best card shops I've ever been to. Great staff and great trade in vaule (80% card for card). Also they have so much when it comes to singles for any budget. It's like a 25 minute drive for me and I want to make this my go to game store!
Went here because I saw they were hosting Adventurers League. Nice, clean, bright store (not always a given with game stores). The staff was helpful, the group was welcoming and I had an awesome evening of gaming. Can't recommend this store enough!!
Great store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They always have the latest games and Magic cards. Would visit again.
My husband and I took his board game loving family to this store just out of curiosity to see what kind of games they offered. We all love the face that you could play the game before you actually bought it! In too of being able to try the game out before we purchased it, the staff explained the game to us and how the play it. We will definitely be back to buy more games!
A great store, the staff is always friendly, and the selection of collectables and games is great. The store has a very casual vibe to it, so if you are learning to play Magic the gathering, or just want to have some fun, it is an awesome store.
Best FLGS in the metro-Milwaukee area. The store owners are friendly. They will go out of their way to get what you want, even if they have to order it for you. They provide gaming space for free, which is becoming rare nowadays among game stores. They have a great D&D night on Wednesday nights. Good stock with most new games being available.
Really great selection here for board games I actually found at least three or four games I have never heard of. Staff was pleasantly helpful and I got a great deal on Power Grid during one of their sales. While this store is not local for me it's still one of my favorites in Waukesha county.
Great store with great service. They are always helpful and ready to answer questions.
Great place if cards and games are your thing. Lots of tables for what I'm sure are tournament style events. Great environment, clean store, and friendly staff. Everything you would want in a store like this.
TK Games is a great local gaming store with a friendly community and excellent selection. I always stop in when I'm going to the Garcade, which is just down the sidewalk. It's generally true that prices are a bit higher at local stores vs. online, but it's worth a few extra dollars for the customer service and to interact with the community.
Bad store , with bad service! Spent 10 mins there and no help. Will not be back!
The staff take an active effort to help you find what you are looking for. Great selection of Magic singles.
Super helpful staff! Grant literally just spent almost three hours teaching me how to play Magic, even though I wasn't going to buy anything. He was awesome and is a great teacher! I at least understand the basics now. Definitely will be back to hang out and bulk up my collections! :)
Cool little board game shop. Mostly for hardcore card gamers into games like Magic the Gathering. They did have all kinds of board games though and the dude working was nice. Tottally worth checking out.
I decided to make this my "FLGS" and for the most part I've had a pretty good experience every time I've been here. The only thing I don't like about the place is that it's a "Magic the Gathering" joint. As a serious board gamer I usually avoid Magic places but I also understand that Magic keeps the lights on. And to be fair the Magic crowd here is a lot less toxic than it is at other stores I've been to. The prices are good and the demo shelf is excellent but the board game stock is just "average". All in all the place is clean, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and the selection is so-so (but I've always walked out with something I wanted even if it wasn't what I went in for) and the demo games are many. Oh, and my 5 year old kid thinks they need to sell more snacks and maybe stock some juices along with the soda and water. He doesn't like soda.
Great environment, friendly Staff, awesome D&D sessions
Very kind people, didn't have what I was looking for but the selection was good enough that I found something else I would enjoy.
Nice local game store. Diverse selection of products. Helpfull and friendly staff. I haven't played anything there yet. But, it seems there's always someone at a table. Check it out!
Good service good amount of space and pretty good selection of products.
If your open until 9pm stay open to 9pm, I don't like driving 30mins to a locked door, here at your door and it's 7:40pm. Thanks for nothing, I guess target needs it more.
Great little friendly local game store. Caters to both board games and Magic:The Gathering. The board game selection is good, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Drove 45 minutes to play a draft and had a good time until the end when I got shorted not only playing time but with prizes too. Player decided just to take a loss so his friend would win from our tiebreaker and the owner let it happen instead of making them play it out, which cost me my prize, after I drove 45 min to get there. Funny thing is they played it out just for fun though... Garbage in my opinion. Definitely not happy with wasting my Friday night with this place. Thanks BOB...
One of the best game stores around. Vey friendly and helpful staff.
Good place to check out been here once about 5 years ago and I liked the place fun
Friendly staff and a great little community of magic players.
I get my game supplies here, and they are always friendly.
The store is fantastic! It is quite big with a large play area and the staff is very helpful and willing to help you find what you like.
It says you will typically spend 20min to 3.5 hrs. I think I'm normally there for about 13hrs.
Love the nerdy atmosphere. Has a good selection of games. Found exactly what I was looking for and more. Ended up walking out with a game I wasn't even planning on purchasing.
Went there for the first time today to pick up a new D&D book. The staff was super friendly, welcomed us to the store, asked if we needed any help and guided us in the right direction for D&D merchandise. People were playing magic the gathering, they were holding a raffle and the patrons were very friendly and inviting. Great place! You can tell the staff really care.
Owner was friendly. Store was clean. Magic card singles selection was good. Cards all priced using online site, so you know its fair. Will definitely return for future purchases.
Very poor customer service, at all locations. Employees are very unconcerned with customers and more concerned with their cell phones and surfing the web. I'm done with this small business.
I recently brought my wife and kids to a clearance sale, and the staff helped us pick out some great games for a bargain.
I also played my first X-Wing tournament here. The staff and players were a great crowd, and I had a blast as a newbie to competitive play. I'm glad they're starting to host more X-Wing tournaments!
Great place to play games, with friendly knowledgeable staff. Store is clean and inviting, card cases are well lit, great selection of games.
Just be friendly! I walked into this store already a fan of the other two game universe locations in town. But I am keeping money after being ignored today.
Great place to go if you are looking for a specific board game.
My preferred local game store. If you're looking for FNM, Magic: the Gathering events, or D&D, I'd highly recommend TK Games. They also sell a wide variety of tabletop games you won't find at Walmart that, while a bit pricey, are always a fun time.
Prices where a bit high and the selection wasnt the best but it seems like a good game store for the area.
Refused to sell me product for prices stated on stickers. Very deceptive store. They have lost my business.
The place to go if you want to shop for board games, miniatures for any of several different RPGs or tabletop games or just to play a game with some friends or meet some new ones through a pick up game.
Went for a Magic tournament. Was really well run and the store had a great atmosphere, which is hard to do when you pack 60 people in there. Had lots of fun!
Very fair prices for singles and buylist. Good inventory for TCG and for table top.
Very friendly staff.
Many tables to play on.
Cleanest LGS bathroom possibly on planet Earth.
Sure you can find better deals at Wal-Mart or Target, but don't be like that. Support your local business! They aren't overpriced...most things are priced at retail.
This place is owned by a couple that is (if I were to guess) in their mid 30s. They are passionate about gaming and will take the time to recommend games that you will love.
If you like D&D, they have a good selection of reaper minis, reaper MSP paints, and everything else that you need to let you bring out your inner-artist.
They also have a loyalty program, gaming tables, and weekly events for MTG, D&D, and more!
Nice crowd which ranges in age from 10- well I think I m the oldest at 42. Decent prices and a crazy good selection of figures and dice. Much cleaner than most game shops (you know that smell you usually get with game shops and at the game table-not here!).
The environment is awesome and the people there are always friendly and fun.
The best game store in South east Wisconsin. The staff is wonderful, the game selection is outrageously massive. Events are a site to see and an experience not worth missing.
