Nice hotel, great pool, great collection of restaurants. The room needs some modern amenities- there were no phone chargers either on the side tables or the office desk. Wifi worked great. Staff was very courteous and attended promptly.

Fun for the whole family yet also good for couples. We brought the kids along for this one and played in the many pools, played on the putting green, and enjoyed breakfast on our balcony. They also have kids club so if you want to get away from the kids you can drop them off there. For couples, there is the spa where you can relax and be pampered together. The biggest downside is the lack of a fridge and microwave in the rooms (there is a stocked mini fridge but it's a pain to take out all the overpriced drinks). If they had those items I would give it a score of 5 stars. Otherwise, 4.5 stars is all I can give.

The spa was awesome, I love the steam room. The food at the spa was very good and refreshing. The grounds are beautiful and very comfortable. The room seems a little dated particularly the bathroom but not in a tacky way. The ceiling fan was squeaky but the room was generally comfortable and clean. The staff seemed a little persistent at first trying to get us to use the valet service but it only happened once. Generally they were very respectful and efficient. It would have been nice if there had been more aerialist yoga classes. They were all booked so book early if you want in. They were great about my sister's birthday and even brought some cute decadent mini desserts for her on our first night. We had a great time. It's expensive but about what you would expect for a place like this.

While in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess property is the best resort and restaurant in the whole area. It has it all. Excellent for corporate or romantic getaways. And the spa is terrific. And the customer service for the entire experience is beyond five (5) stars.

We reserved a suite. Dated decor, terrible view. Nothing plush or luxurious about it. We found two roaches in our room. That s bad enough. In addition, the resort does not cater to guests. Two of the three restaurants onsite are only open for dinner beginning at 5:00. The room service menu is limited. We went to The Hacienda for dessert one evening and although almost all of the outdoor tables were open and they were soon closing, they would not allow us to sit outside to enjoy dessert citing outdoor tables were for full dinner service only. Perfectly logical restriction when it s busy but when the restaurant is dead, it s ridiculous. Our options were to eat inside or get it as takeout. You ve got to be kidding me; you re not expecting any more customers for the evening and the tables are open but you won t let us sit outside to order dessert?! We went to the Provisions Coffee shop for coffee and dessert and they turned off the coffee pots 30 min before closing because they were prepping to leave. If you re open until 9, you should be OPEN until 9. And for the third day in a row, the gelato was not available. This place really did not impress me. Save your money. It s not worth it here.

We stayed 5 days here. It is a large resort with many things such as multiple fun pools, restaurants bars and shops. Parking is easy and staff was fantastic. Check in was a breeze and she was helpful. Will come back for sure.

Our last day the golf course had large amazing fireworks.

We had a great time! The staff was very attentive and pleasant. The grounds were exceptional. Our rooms were newer, clean and beautiful. The food was great at all the restaurants and the staff was extremely attentive poolside. We will return!

A group of 12 of us spent a night here over 4th of July weekend. Booked 3 rooms and packed our bags not really knowing what to expect. I think we stood out like sore thumbs to the more seasoned guests but we enjoyed ourselves none the less. With that being said I wish we would have had a more personable experience with the staff. For the money you are spending on everything I did not feel that "welcome" Room was outstanding!

Fairmont has perfect the art of service. This property is not only gorgeous, but the staff are incredible and simply wonderful. Hands down, I will always recommend everyone I know to treat themselves to luxury and pampering at the Fairmont Scottsdale princess.

Beautiful grounds. Pretty spread out though so be prepared for a hike. They will shuttle you in a golf cart if you'd like. Rooms are nice, but perhaps a touch dated (for example, the bathrooms have old style 6" tile and thick grout lines). Have not had a chance to enjoy the amenities as here for work conference. Price during very toasty summer season is great for a 5-star resort.

I have stayed here many times in the past and the service has always been outstanding. However, this time all the service was directed to the PKH holiday group staying at the hotel. Our room wasn't serviced until after 5 pm in the afternoon! It seems that if you weren't part of that group, your needs were overlooked.

Beautiful resort located in North Scottsdale. Easy access to food and entertainment and closest resort for events like the PGA tour and the Barrett Jackson car auction. Amazing and helpful staff as well. Perfect for a weekend away with friends or even a week vacation with the family.

Had a great time at the Christmas event. The lights were awesome and the train rrde with great..... you had a chance to see all the lights on the train. They had rides for the kids and the kids had a lot of fun.

Beautiful resort hotel with fantastic light display for Christmas. Had a lovely dinner first at Bourbon Steak. Service was very good, and the meal was nicely presented. Sea Bass was very well done, as were the Bay Scallops. Large wine list was available.

We didn't stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess....we just dined at Bourbon Steak. The prices don't seem proportionate to other restaurants in their same category.....a little on the higher side, but the service was spectacular and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy, but the macaroni gratin lacked flavoring. The macaroni sidea dish, along with the pomegranate martini, were probably my least favorite things about my experience.

Beautiful.

Beautiful.

I believe this is the most or second most used resort for corporate events in Arizona.

Still annoyed enough at our trip over Labor Day. Came with my family of 5, including 3 kids, and my parents. The grounds are beautiful and everyone at the lobby was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the casitas and they could use a face lift - Cracked tiles in the bathrooms and chipped fireplace surrounds. I was happy that they had a room that could accommodate a family of 5. We came to enjoy our long weekend at the pools. Martina at the slide pool ruined my family s time for the remainder of the trip. No one else working the slides ever cared that my youngest went down the slides, which are pretty tame, since he can swim and had no issues with them. This lady flipped out since his hair didn t go above the line, yelled small boy in broken English, and made us walk down, despite everyone else with smaller kids in line having no issues. She didn t act like this to anyone else in line and actually made me cry. That takes a lot for that to happen. I was oddly singled out the entire time. I had to get the manager, which I never do, who let him go down for the day. Who wants to have an awkward encounter with a staff member for the rest of your trip?? Another kid was ahead of us that was smaller than mine and she said something to the dad and the dad talked her into letting him down and then attempted to turn us away - sorry lady, don t discriminate against me because I m not a man. I ve never been treated like that, ever, especially at a five diamond resort. I would expect that behavior at six flags, but not here. They are extremely strict with the zip line and even had a scale out, which my kids made the weight, but they turned many away. I get the safety aspect, but it s a bit overkill. Our neighborhood zip line wasn t much smaller. While the activities were fine, you need more for smaller kids in the day time, over the summer, and families who have kids a variety of ages. The younger girls doing the games did a great job and my kids loved the foam parties. The guys running the golf carts were great and security was awesome when we accidentally left an item behind in our cabana. We also really enjoyed the night time parties and movies - my kids loved everything about that and didn t have the slide issue. Coming from out of town, I probably won t return due to the poor service from the pool and would consider one of the many other resorts in the Scottsdale area that have more options for my entire family, like the Hyatt or the Westin.

We stayed at the Fairmont on an a emergency staycation due to an air conditioning failure at our house. The property was in excellent condition and we choose to upgrade to the new rooms on the west side of the property. Room was immaculate and service from the staff was what I have come to expect at the Fairmont brand. I am a Fairmont President's Club member and have stayed at numerous Fairmont locations.

The only glaring issue was the food. I expect pricing for food at the Fairmont to be high but have a similar expectation that the food be excellent. We had lunch at Ironwood Grill which was $80 for two adults and two children (two orders of chicken tenders, mac & cheese, side salad, turkey club, and two diet cokes). Ouch! The chicken tenders had a metallic aftertaste. We dined at La Hacienda and three of us ordered steak: it was horrible with the only flavor being that of charred meat. Thankfully, the manager removed the items from our bill, but not what I expected and we have dined at La Hacienda numerous times..the guacamole is amazing. We also ordered room service for sushi and a kids pizza. The sushi came without chopsticks and the eel on the Dragon Roll was overcooked. We ended up eating off property for the rest of our stay.

We loved the pools and will be back, but will plan on dining elsewhere.

When I made reservations I asked for a room near the pool there are many pools and our room was not near the pool. I was told 12 was check out time but when I went to settled up my bill which was 400.00 for one night, they said check out was 11 so when I got back to my room my key did not work. Although the people were very pleasant who work there I did not enjoy the overpriced room or my stay.

Huge hotel and conference center. Not the most budget friendly place but it does offer a very unique experience in the winter months and during Christmas time (especially with the kids): They have Smore's land with tubing on real ice, a carousel and Farris Wheel. Ice skating is also available, but not cheap! Plenty of pools and warm enough to swim during December, which also is a perfect time with virtually no crowds.

Stayed in a double queen room just a few short steps from one of the 6 pools they have. The pool was nice with attendants coming over to offer water, chilled towels and sunscreen and aloe. We took advantage of the spa on site and its facilities we're immaculate. Would love to stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Carts are available to move you around the 68 acres.
