Decided to try this place after a show and I was not disappointed. The grilled prawns was amazing. They were huge. Bigger than the lobster tails at red lobster and outback. The lamb chops was delicious too. Can't wait to go back.

You will be treated kindly and professionally here. I was by myself and the hostess was quick to offer me a table, but I opted for the bar. I had the spanakopita (best I have ever had) and the burger, I think they called it a Greek burger, made with beef and topped with cheese, I think feta. Cooked to perfection. Delicious. I will look forward to coming here again. Hopefully next time I will have time for dessert. Awesome.

I went here for restaurant week with a couple friends for the first time and it was an amazing experience! Service was exceptional and the environment was great! I got the calamari for appetizer. It was a little bland and lacked flavor, but decent enough to finish eating. My main course was the star of the night. I ordered lamb chops, which come in in three nicely sized pieces and are perfectly charred. The seasoning was on point and the meat was tender and delicious. It is also served with potatoes and tzatziki, which is a salted yogurt that pairs well with the lamb chops. We were told the restaurant week portions are normal portions too which was a huge plus. For dessert, I got the baklava. Beware, it is extremely sweet, but it makes for a good ending. Overall pleasant experience and I will be back, even for a regular night!

Love Greek food. Restaurant puts forth excellent atmosphere, quality service and varied menu. Wine list seems impressive and comprehensive from a non-drinkers perspective. Filleting fish at the table provides interesting entertainment. Restaurant could benefit from a little sound buffering as large parties can be loud and distracting. Plan for a good dining experience.

Good was fresh, sidecar is my drink, I had Africa's fresh has Capers onion a little salt and pepper and it was delicious and it's actually one of their number one sellers on their appetizers list, its Mediterranean.

Went there for restaurant week lunch. Got the fish of the day. It was Branzino whatever. It must have been like 2 oz of fish. I know they cut back on portion size for restaurant week but it was kinda ridiculous. It was also way too overcooked. Almost felt like it was deep fried. Nice venue though... would have gone back but I feel like if they are wiling to treat people who try their restaurant like this, there is probably no need.

An amazing experience!! From the grilled octopus (delectable) to the grilled sea bass to the desserts, Estia is one of the best dining experiences our family has had in Philly...which is saying a lot! We had a group of about 8 and ordered a number of dishes to share, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Every single dish was fantastic. The sea bass, to be pointed, was one of the best seafood dishes I've ever had. And that was followed closely by the octopus. Although not cheap, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

From my visit to Estia restaurant 10/01/2020 a managerial-friendly advice:
1 Welcome your guests with a smile and warmth, first rule of hospitality, it's a restaurant not a social security service
2 Menus on a printed white paper? Not so upscale, there are many more expensive papers to print menus, details count to customers
3 Teach the bussers to clean the table before main course
4 Teach the bussers to bring a knife on a tray not by hand and always before main course arrives
5 Make sure plates are always clean under - no to stick with syrup
6 Teach bussers to keep all beverage glasses full
7 Make sure that food comes in an equal temperature (microwavable orzo was very hot and mixed seafood souvlaki was cold)
8 Teach everyone to introduce themselves on a table with a smile and by name
9 NEVER speak loud 4 feet away from a guests table, take it elsewhere
10 ALWAYS thank guests on their way out for their business

Wishing you all the best!

For me this has always been one of those restaurants in the city that looks super nice, and I always think about, yet had never been to until a friend was visiting from out of town. Can't believe how dumb I was for waiting so long, it's fantastic!

I was there for lunch and had the Chicken Souvlaki, with the spreads appetizer. Both were great. We also shared some of octopus, which we ate so quickly I didn't even get a picture.

Estia leaves nothing to be desired. Amazing atmosphere, with even better food and service. One of the best fine dining experiences I've had in the city. Will definitely go back again sometime soon. Perfect for date night, or to impress clients over lunch.

We loved our first time there. Bread with hummus that came to the table was delicious. We did the prix fix menu and had soup and the calamari, both were great. For our meals we had the fish of the day and shrimp/swordfish skewer with salad and it was scrumptious. We will definitely be back!

We were in Philadelphia for a wedding and selected Estia for dinner. The halibut was delicious, the sardines were good, the lamb shank was so-so. We should have just ordered the lamb chops. The drinks were great and I would say the overall experience was good.

I highly recommend this location if you want to eat Mediterranean food.

I love this restaurant!!!!!! Do the theater menu!!! The grilled octopus and lamb are both amazing. The cocktails were delicious and the service was really great. Our server was very polite, helpful, and prompt. We told him we had theater tickets and he was very kind and accommodating to make sure we got out on time. Highly recommend!

I went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. I have been to Greek restaurants before but this one surprised me as soon as I walked in the door. The interior ambiance as well as decor exudes a romantic, Mediterranean vibe. The hostesses greeted us warmly, reserved the table I was looking for. Even the lounge had special pillows. The food quality was great, I highly recommend their three-course dinner which seems to offer the best value. The fish of the day was excellent, perfectly cooked with seasoning. The calamari was also really good. My girlfriend and I had an excellent time and we would highly recommend Estia. Would go again.

The lamb shank over risotto was awesome - great taste and super tender! The fish of the day - a white fish - was seared to perfection while still flaky and juicy. The baklava and almond cake desserts capped off a great meal. Our waiter, a real Greek with great pride in his heritage and food, provided great service and recommendations!

Delicious lunch selection. A $20 fixed 3 courses lunch is a great offer. We had lunch before the show and we loved it. I had a halibut soup, a white fish and rice with vegetables and a dessert. Have at least an hour so you will not be rushed.

My experience at estia was quite lovely this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to . The food was great as well as the service period my server was very attentive and personable. I'm glad that I was able to try something new and I really liked it, which was the pan seared Chilean sea bass I really like it because it's very flaky moist and not a fishy smelling fish which made it even more enjoyable to eat because I do want to expand my choices when I go to a restaurant and that definitely helped me want to experience different types of fish . My favorite is the grilled shrimp as an appetizer I'm very satisfied with the size of the shrimp and I can taste the freshness and how they're prepared as well . Thank you for having me again Estia and I'll see you again one day

Wonderful service and delicious food. As it is directly across the street from the theater, there is a theatre menu as well which has somewhat smaller portions, and is prix fixe at $35 (April of 3018).
