The food was fantastic, but my medium rare lamb chop were medium well but delicious. The arugula beet salad, estia chips were excellent so was the European sea bass. The server an older gentleman, was in the weeds with 4 -5 tables. Everything took a long time. Definitely a go to place.

To start, the aesthetic was beautiful with a rustic feel. I had a three course meal. Charcoaled octopus as an appitizer, chicken over orzo as my main dish, and baklava for dessert. The octopus was amazing and super fresh. For the adventurous types it tastes like grilled chicken. The chicken orzo was perfectly cooked and melted off the bone. I prefer sauce and seasonings on my meats. But Mediterranean food generally is very light on sauces and seasonings. The baklava was delicious and the nuts were finely chopped for easy enjoyment. I have no complaints and I would go back again.

Private party downstairs, family dinner, or intimate date night, we have done all of these, and Estia never disappoints. The service is top notch, and the food always matches the service. Our favorite is the lamb chops, a must-have in our opinion. Great place to eat before a show or the ballet next door, they will get you fed and out in time. Parking very convenient in the garage at the Bellevue. Dinner here is always special.

We went to Talula's on a Friday night, The food was excellent and they were very accommodating in switching out some menu side items in our meals. The Staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. The one comment I have Is that it was very noisy.

I went in at 515 without a reservation, party of 1. I was told The next reservation was at 8 but I could sit at the bar because there were no available tables. The restaurant was EMPTY. 1 person at the bar and 2 other tables occupied. I've had better Greek food. The spanakopita was served to me way overcooked and tasted burnt. I was in and out in 30 minutes and by the time I left there was still at least 10 tables empty.

This is a great Greek Style Mediterranean Restaurant in Center City. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice Dinner. A night out or before a show. A great menu and the food is always delicious.

delicious food: luscious roasted eggplant spread, tasty char-grilled octopus, densely rich moussaka. service could have been sharper, and there was some confusion about menus--prix fixe posted outside not offered by the waiter . . . when we asked for it, a different menu was produced. still, i'd go back for the great flavors.

Estia Wayne. First time here. Visited Philly often.Great place, great food great staff in Philly. In Wayne however the host asked if my guest had arrived.Any minute I said. Well sit at the bar, that's how we like to do it.
Waiter. We would like to order a couple of things. We would like to start with. He said the chef likes to cook everything at once. Really .$60 a lb for a plate of seafood for starters.
I spent almost $200 for a staff that could not work at McDonald's.

The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. I just moved to the city and my boyfriend and I wanted to have a fancy date night. We got drinks at the bar and had a great bartender. Very disappointed in the waitress we had when we were seated. It was like we were annoying her. It was towards the end of the night, but we made reservations for that time and didn t expect the attitude. She didn t give any suggestions for food or any descriptions of the entrees. I wanted a bottle of wine and she had nothing to say when I asked what was good. Everything was I don t knows . Really wish we just sat at the bar. For 170 dinner for 2 I would expect someone to be a little kinder and more accommodating. Probably wouldn t return.

It is a fine establishment to be sure. The service was great and friendly. The hummus was a great starter. I liked the food a lot. The lobster pasta dish was excellent. The only reason that this gets four stars instead of five was the fish. I found it to really be nothing special. I was pretty disappointed by it especially when compared to the rest of the place. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth visiting. Thanks for the meal!!

From the moment you walk through the front door you are greeted with a sense of warmth. This particular evening there was a full house yet the wait staff was spectacular! They are friendly and efficient. Moving on to the food again spectacular every dish was perfect. As we we're celebrating a birthday we did bring our own dessert but normally if you have their dessert, you will not be disappointed.

We had our wedding reception at Estia for about 100 people. It was amazing. Our guests are still telling us that it was the best they've been to. Estia flies in all their seafood (and other food) daily from Greece. Everything is fresh and delicious. One of our entrees was lamb that everyone raved about. Planning with Anastasia was a dream. We customized our open bar, appetizers, and menu with no issues at all. A coat room with attendant was provided and we had several servers with butlered hors d'oeuvres, two bartenders, and full wait staff. Everything worked out perfectly. Anastasia was very patient during the planning process and assured us that everything would be fine. It was. We never had to worry. We just enjoyed our guests and the reception. Anastasia was present during the event as a contact person for guests with gifts, requests from parents, and manager of the entire event. Also, the restaurant manager was incredibly helpful. We can't thank the Estia staff enough, Anastasia especially, for organizing and executing our reception that we, and our guests, will never forget.

We love this place when we want to enjoy some fish. They have a great selection of different type of fish and seafood. But we also tried mousaka and lamb chops, and they were delicious as well. Dinner menu can be pricey but it is totally worth the money. You can try lunch menu just for $20 and price is valid on the weekends too. Lunch menu includes an appetizer and an entree, so it's definitely a great deal.

Can't say enough about this place. Had the grilled octopus, lamb chops, and these fried zucchini and eggplant chips that were phenomenal. Ended the night with walnut and honey cake and sorbet. If possible, ask for Saki. He treated my family and me so well and made dinner educational and entertaining. It felt like we were in his home, had a great time.

Wonderful decor. Wait staff was amazing, but nothing compared to the food. The stuffed calamari was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. My friend had the octopus that was the most tender I've ever tried. If you're considering Estia, GO!!!!

Love this restaurant. The zucchini chips, and calamari are heaven as a starter while you are deciding on what to feast on for dinner. The lamb chops are amazing, a favorite. On this visit, I had white snapper. The fish was brought out whole for my inspection prior to cooking,. this offering is meant to be a shared dish. It was beautifully cooked light and flakey with capers and lemon. My dinner companions had the lamb and another of the fresh fish offerings. We finished with Greek yoghurt cheese cake that was light and tasty, and baklava again a favorite. We enjoyed our meal with several bottles of Greek red wine. The staff are attentive and you are never rushed . The expectation is to enjoy your dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy Mediterranean. Another wonderful evening!

I found this place to be a really mixed bag. I'm a vegetarian and there was only one vegetarian entree on the menu and that was on the pre-theater, fixed price menu. It wasn't much of an entree, either -- half a grilled eggplant with a lot of tomato sauce. There were some good appetizers and my non-vegetarian companions seemed to like the tuna tartare, the halibut soup (not actually listed on the menu), and meat entrees. One member of the group ordered a "country" salad which turned out to be almost entirely a plate of tomatoes, and had no lettuce or greens at all. The menu didn't make that clear at all, and for $18, this was not a salad that could substitute for a main course. The service was fine, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the meal just seemed very overpriced and underwhelming. (With no alcohol or any seafood or steak entree, and one person ordering only soup, the bill for 5 of us was over $220.)

A delicious meal.

A delicious meal.
The fish was so fresh ,that it must have jumped on my plate

We made a rez to celebrate finishing a tough rotation on Sunday evening at 6pm. We arrived promptly at 6pm and were taken to our seats. We were frankly enamored with the decor and ambiance of the dining room. My little feta cube remarked on the fact that even the CEILING is cool. I believe there is decorative rope somewhere. Overall, the interior design has a very rustic feel.

I've been to Estia for both lunch and dinner and it was great. However, DO NOT do Happy Hour here! While the food, wine and prices were excellent, our bar maid certainly was not. Look, they call it HAPPY hour for a reason, if you can't crack a smile, you shouldn't be working. We were a party of 3 with one other person at the bar and not only was she inattentive, it felt like we were actually bothering her. What should have been an totally enjoyable meeting was nearly ruined by this dour person. I plan on contacting the management to complain.

This is a reoccurring favorite restaurant of mine. I ve been here for lunch and dinner a good handful of times by now. The interior is very nice and has a very calm but happy environment. It is never feels crowded. The food always tastes fresh and perfectly cooked.

Very bad service!!! We had dinner as a group in a reserved/private room. The server didn't serve deserts to all the guests. He said more deserts coming but they never came more half hour after everyone else finished their desert. Some people asked for a box to take leftovers home but the boxes never came after 15 minutes wait. The server still said they will bring them but never did. So, we just left. I would give this restaurant a zero not even a one star. It was a company dinner so my meal was free but still the service was bad and the food wasn't great either. I would not come back here again.
