My boyfriend & I were visiting from out of town and since he's Greek and I never tried Greek food, I wanted to find the perfect Greek restaurant to try so I discovered this restaurant by doing a random Google search & I'm so glad I did. The food was spectacular & the restaurant itself was beautiful. Our waiter was so pleasant, and the food came out very fast. The service was definitely top notch. Next time we're in Philly, we will be returning to this place for sure!

Estia offers a wonderful corporate dining experience; the downstairs space was excellent and the attached bar and mixing area is a great choice if you need to entertain a group of 35-50 people.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. As usual the lamb, shrimp etc. were amazing. One item to avoid is the beet salad which was described as red and yellow beets, with greens and some type of potato. We received three mounds (literally rounded scoops) one mashed potato, spinach(I think) and extremely "mushy beets." It was so saturated with olive oil that it overpowered any flavor. I expected more from a salad at Estia and this was disappointing. The server was wonderful and replaced the disappointing salad with an amazing romaine salad. Every time we have visited Estia the fish, Greek dishes etc. are amazing. I will definitely go back again.

Mediterranean food, yeah, super tasty. Service is always prompt even when they have a full house. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. This place has a good design.

The service was great, the restaurant was decorated beautifully however, the lighting was too dim for my liking. The food tasted great and was a nice sized portion. Our waiter told us their fish was shipped to the restaurant from Greece and they serve you the whole fish when you order it, that s pretty dope!

My first time here. The Mrs surprised me for my birthday, and it was awesome! Started with a spinach & feta turnover with an arugula salad with red and yellow beets in a honey lime vinaigrette dressing. She went with the swordfish with grilled veggies while I went with the lamb shank with the tomato mozzarella orzo. When the server heard it was my birthday he surprised us with the honey walnut cake with vanilla ice cream. This was #CHEFery at its finest!

My husband and I went there for the first time. What a great experience. The food was amazing and our waitress Ruby did a great job getting us out of there in time for our Bryan Ferry show. Outstanding!!

Came for the first time during restaurant week. The menu was still extensive and the wines available very diverse. Will definitely be back to try the full menu. Perfect for a date night, great decor and ambience

Met here on a Sunday afternoon for a large family gathering. Waiter was superb, as was the wine recommendation, portions, and ambiance. Gorgeous, clean, spacious...and those are the bathrooms! Steps to Broad Street and the High Speed Line. I had a long time friend contact me when in town for business, so I used Open Table to make a last min reservation. The food fresh seafood (Chilean Sea Bass & Halibut) and Mediterranean setting was great.

We love this place. Wonderful Greek/Mediterranean menu, great pre-theatre menu always available, beautiful open, airy atmosphere. Sidewalk dining over the summer. Great location in the theater district. Recommended for date nights, theater nights, cocktails at the bar.

Got here for restaurant week, atmosphere is ok, I like the Greek style interior design,
The waitress is friendly and service was good and fast. The only complaint I have is the food. Any food truck food would taste better, not coming back anyhow.

Great food, atmosphere, and service personnel. Exceedingly fresh seafood is their highlight, specific selections which you can evaluate and pick from their cold bar. Single forgivable order mishap which left us with a change we didn't order but loved anyway.

Went there for a quick dinner before a show. We sat at the bar and had drinks and a few appetizers at the happy hour price and then ordered dinner to share. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back. $100 + tip for 2 appetizers, 1 traditional salad, and one main dish. 2 glasses of wine and a cocktail.

Exquisite food, awesome and guest-focused Have you had that fish before? No? It's very bony, you won't like it. Have the lamb chops service. The hummus and the cold appetizer plate tzatziki and two other spreads I cannot remember were excellent introductions, and a temptation to eat too much of them.
These were followed by grilled (?) octopus. I enjoyed it, although I'd never eaten it before. I had once heard, In a new restaurant, order food you don't like. If they succeed, you will have won a new food as well as a new restaurant. I hadn't ordered the appetizers our more knowledgeable host had but this principle made me eager to try it, as it was one of their specialties, strongly recommended by the waiter.
The lamb chops: four perfectly cooked pieces of art, accompanied with a thick tzatziki dressing on the side like that for the appetizer, their tzatziki is not thin and flowing, no, but a rich, thick spread, a meal on its own and, curiously, french fries (topped with a toupee of shredded cheese).
For dessert, the salted caramel baklava was astounding, and the decaf cappuccino was good.
I could not normally afford this restaurant their fish is flown in daily from the Mediterranean but I will take my wife there for the lamb chops, at least.

Wow it was the best meal we had in the city of Philly! It was like stepping into Europe for a great meal.
The photo was taken on the lower level were there is a wine room. They were preparing for 68 for a rehearsal dinner like it was no big deal. Obviously a well trained staff. It was a pleasure to dine at such a fine well maintained restaurant . Wish we were staying longer so we would dine here again. The octopus was so tender it almost melted in our mouths. They did not skimp on the bread and there own homemade humus. The server was happy to bring out as much as we needed. Best place we have eaten since we were in Italy. Our hats off the owners who put a lot into the building, keeping the staff happy and the fantastic menu. DON'T CHANGE A THING thank you Dennis and Mary NY

I came here for a private event. I got sea bass, lamb, and steak! All were delicious! But the real winner at this restaurant is the appetizers! Fried cheese, the various spreads, calamari (i heard was delicious, it was gone before i could look at it)

Excellent food and a beautiful place. Service was not of the highest quantity, and the staff was not forthright about pricing. Charged a cake cutting fee and charged us full price on a bottle of wine when they said it was discounted.

Estia is always very accommodating for my work functions. They have some very nice spaces whether you re dining at a normal table or in a private room. Although I normally get the Bronzino, I switched it up and tried their pasta and was not disappointed.

Wonderful dinner spot. I hope to return soon. Their chips are pure delight even though base isn't my fave. Try them! It's fine after theatre stop. Must have reservations. This is fine dining at its best with pricing to match- worth it!

First off let me say that I'm Greek and I'm generally very critical of Greek food bc I always think my YiaYia can cook it better ;) Having said that though, I love this place, I've been here several times and this place never disappoints... The food is authentic and delicious, the service is great, and the place itself is really spacious and beautiful. I'm always bringing friends and family here with me to share these great dishes with everyone!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Such a cool restaurant and space. A great addition the the neighborhood! We tried both kombucha flavors that they had on tap, both were delicious. To eat we had two orders of tacos, one mushroom and one cauliflower, and we split the Bahn Mi. The tacos were very good but the Bahn Mi was one of the best sandwiches ever! Worth going just for that. Lots of other options such as pastries, coffee, and smoothies to go along with the food, as well as breakfast options like eggs and avocado toast. Can't wait to go back and try all the other delicious looking food, would highly recommend!!

First of all, let me make this clear, if you are here opt for go for the full course dinner option, which includes a selection of starters/appetizers, main course and dessert, and pair all this with a some wine, red or white depending on the choice of meat. I would recommend to call ahead and make a reservation as it can be long wait, being in a big city, the advantage being, good food, but crowded. It's on a pricy end but I would say its all the worth of money.
Enjoy the most beautifully, yes beautifully cooked food, with love and care. :)

I was so indulged in the food, forgot to take the pics. Lol
