Nice campus. Shitty management. Computer Science Department used to be one of the best with renowned faculty. Now it's rotting and has an average faculty. Website is horrible. I asked for transcripts, they received payment. Then they refused to send the transcripts! Repeated mails proved futile. Corrupt system. Nothing works here.

Good University for all Education. Savitribai Phule Pune University, one of the premier universities in India, is positioned in the North-western part of Pune city. The university attracts many foreign students due to its excellent facilities. It offers good accommodation facility. There is a provision of hostel for the students. There is a well-stocked library containing plenty of books regarding various subjects. The university offers different scholarships to the students.
Only robots are manufactured here even slogan says "where action proves knowledge"... Lot of Rot learning and reproducing stuff but students in various colleges are quite intelligent .... If college has a good crowd they should go autonomous.

The place is amazing for walks. You can get ur car/bike here. There's plenty of parking available everywhere. The place is lush green, full of greenery. It's even better during monsoon season. Temperature is usually 1-2 degrees lower than city temperature. You can play football, basketball anytime during the day. There's a huge library for students who study in Pune University. There is a gymkhana which is not expensive and less crowded too. Almost from 2000 I love to visit this place at any time of the day. Best place to workout in the morning and evening too. One of my favourite place in Pune.

Great place for jogging &walking ,and for cricket football
No proper management!! Had been to the university number of times but nobody over there will guide u properly as to where one should go if they have problems relating to convocation or marksheets.etc :-( also the contact numbers displayed on the website are either out of coverage or the line is busy 24/7. Nobody is even bothered to receive the phone calls. Highly disappointed!
Horrible for engineering. While the syllabus is great, all the exams are geared towards rote learning and nothing else.

Very large campus.. But no good means of transportation else you have one.. poor management throughout the university.. the trees around here provide a cool and soothing environment..
What's the use of the number when it is of no use.. I have called more then hundred times on all the numbers but no response at all.. What we students will do if you don't communicate at all... My exams were postponed due to Covid 19 in the month of March 2020 and I am student of external department and it's been 6 months there's no update from University at all... What about us our year will be wasted what to do next please bother to update
Savitribai Phule Pune University is an important educational center located in Ganeshkhind area. The university was started on 10th February 1949. Initially 12 districts were attached to the university. After some time Shivaji University was established in Kolhapur and the number of districts was reduced to 5 districts. The worst university... I passed my Engineering degree by 2014 recieved my final year marksheet by 2015 and then i applied for my degree certificate 9 months ago, when i went to recieve the certificate they say 'there was a mistake in your data so your certificate was not issued' no guilt, nothing... To students wanting to join Pune University a simple advice from me 'just dont do it'

One of the top Universities in India . SPPU is a good university having many type of courses and other degree's under its panel. The Campus is lush green and sorrounded by trees and forest cover. The Main Building itself is an ancient building dating back to British Era and has been taken over for making main building of SPPU. All the university work can be done by visiting here . Staff is Co-operative and good !

Teaching staff is very good in university departments but administrative process is very slow due to poor management. University campus is beautiful.
I have not received my degree certificate yet. Its been a year now. They did make everyone pay for the speed post delivery charges but yet did not receive it so far. I tried to contact them through mail and landline but no response what so ever. They have about 10 different landline numbers but Nobody picks it up or it says the line is busy. Very disappointing.
