Caketini Review

Just went there today. Tried their black tea. It was really good also tried their tuxedo and all about chocolate cake. It was really delicious. Its little expensive but the place is worth it.

Yummy, moist, large cupcakes with standard and unique flavors. They also do awesome cakes! Lattes and teas taste great too.

When we went here we let our five kids (age from 3-8) each get a cupcake and my husband and I got the cake pops.... My kids took one bite and threw the rest away. They said they were nasty. Cake pops were dry and tasted like preservatives. Will never go here again. And will NOT recommend to anyone else.

Sadly, this place appears to be permanently closed. I will miss the lemon cupcakes with raspberry buttercream frosting. They were exceptional!

Cupcakes. Very fresh tasting. Got a cake here for the mother-in-laws birthday last year, she loved it. They aren't the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but they are local and tasty.

I ordered a cake for my son's little monster themed 1st birthday party. I went in with a picture and some ideas, and went over them with the staff. It seemed they had a good idea of what I was looking for, but you never know for sure until you see the finished product. When my husband brought the cake home on the day of the party, I was so impressed! The totally nailed it. It was so amazing that I hated to cut it! The staff at Caketini are great and they have some really talented people!

Living in Germany we don't get American cake often, so this was a treat. The Vanilla cupcake and frosting looked good but looked too big for one person. My husband and I decided to share it. I took one bite and told my husband to get his own. He was annoyed until he had a bite of mine. He was happy to buy another cupcake.

They look great, they taste awful. I tried two, the Lemon Raspberry which was sweet to the point of being sickening and had no real flavor other than sweet, sweet sugar. The second was the Salted Caramel which was even worse. Zero flavor or sweetness except for SALT. So salty. Look but don't taste!

These cupcakes are excellent. There are many great flavors, each unique and amazing. Looking forward to the next time I can stop in.

Caketini has a delicious selection of treats! We really enjoy coming here for dessert. The cannolis and cake pops are heavenly. The huge brownies and rice krispies with marshmallows are AMAZING and very moist. The customer service was great too. We will definitely be back for more!

Caketini saved the day! It's was about 3pm when we arrived at Gigi's to pick up our cupcakes for our wedding the following day. What we found was a note on the front door saying they were closed and out of business. Needless to say we were beside ourselves, I googled cupcakes near me and found Caketini. Despite and in need of a superhero they came to the rescue. Opened up the bakery made us 5 dozen fresh cupcakes, ready to pick up that evening. We're back home now getting ready for the first chapter of our story with cupcakes ready for our guests. Thank you Caketini, you saved the day!

Customer service is terrible. I walked in, waited for somebody to finally greet me. She didn t even speak, I told her I wanted a box of 4 cupcakes then she turned away and started to fold up the box and as I was patiently waiting she then turned around didn t say anything and just stared at me. I told her what flavors I wanted, paid and left. When I got to the car I tried the icing on one of the cupcakes, it was like it had sat in the sun for awhile. It was melted and tasted just like butter. So I went back in to see if I could get a refund because all of the cupcakes were melted. The one girl didn t know what she was doing and if she could refund me so she went to get another girl that was in the back and she basically told me that I wasn t able to get a refund because the manager wasn t there. I asked when the manager would be back in and I was told that they were on vacation and they would be in Monday or Tuesday . After that she told me I would have to send an email about the cupcakes and send a picture to see if the manager would approve of a refund, which is ridiculous. I traded the cupcakes for some cake pops which were also melted and tasted like they were sitting for days. After I left I called to get the managers number because of how terrible the customer service was, one girl told me it was on the website and the other one told me the manager doesn t have a phone number.. Overall this place is terrible and I would NEVER recommend it to anybody. WASTE of money. If anybody wants good quality cupcakes and sweet treats go to The Sweet Toothfairy! Never disappoints.

Just got married at the Odysea aquarium and had caketini do our wedding cake. We requested penguin wedding toppers to be put on our cake because we had two penguins in our wedding. The day of the wedding I call to make sure everything was ready to go. Find out they did not make our cake toppers for the wedding. They told me they didnt have a record of it even though I saw the woman taking our cake order write it down on their cake form right in front of me. I had to pay an extra $120 for their mistake. The bride was not happy! They barelly managed to get the cake toppers done before the wedding but I will never do business with caketini ever again. Thank you for making the bride cry on her wedding day.

I can t attest to their brick and mortar customer service, as I always order their treats via Uber Eats, but their cupcakes never disappoint. I m looking forward on trying their cake pops.

The red velvet cupcakes melted in our mouths! Customer service was spectacular which is so rare these days. Be sure to give them a try!

So disappointed. Brought home several varieties and the were all dry. Not worth the cost. Would have gotten better cupcakes at the grocery store

I am very pleased with the service and quality of Caketini. I found them on Instagram and what a great find. I ordered a cake for delivery and it was on time and in perfect condition. I will order again!!

The cupcake I got was the decadent duet. It was dry, bland, and disappointing. I am not picky when it comes to dessert, but almost 5 bucks for a sad lump of disappointment is...well...sad. the service was bad as well. The lady did not smile, was annoyed when I asked a question, and did not give a good impression at all.

Good cupcakes! This was my first time visiting. Purchased 3 cupcakes - red velvet, double chocolate. and the classic. All were great. Would definitely come back. They had some amazing cakes on display.

The cupcakes were good.. It was about on par with Sprinkles. The cafe latte wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special, either. The chai latte (I ordered it iced.) was clearly made from a powdered mix and it wasn't mixed well.

I may return for a cupcake, but not for the drinks.

First time buying these cupcakes and they are amazing, glad we gave them a shot as it will be our to go place for cupcakes. They are huge and delicious. So far the Cookie Dough, Strawberry Pearl are amazing. Keep doing your thing Caketini.

Had the celebration cupcake as well as the Strawberry Shortcake cupcake. Both were DELISH! So moist! Yummm

The strawberry cupcake was good but not great because it is obviously made with shortening and not butter. It's a good place for a quick sweet fix but not for a gourmet baked item.

I'd give caketini no stars if I could but unfortunately it doesn't let me. Hmm where do I start. First off the cake is super over priced. Not as perfect as you would think it would be for the price. The taste of the cake was not fresh tasting it tasted like it had been sitting there for hours if not days. Not only did it not taste as good it was the wrong design. How do you mess up the design on a $190 cake... I do not recommend this place to anyone. Stay clear and get a yummy, pretty cake from a private cake maker. You'll be happier in the long run. So disappointed...

We have visited this location frequently over the past three years, when my daughters school teacher rewarded them with a cupcake from here. First few times we thought the cupcakes verrry sweet. After this most recent visit, we will not be returning. The cupcakes were moist as usual but the frostings all tasted of shortening and chemicals. It was not true buttercream. It was not sweet at all. Even our daughter that has loved this place since her first cupcake did not like her usual flavor. The presentation of each cake and cupcake is fantastic...but that s where it ends. :(

3rd attempt for some cake pops.. there inventory is horrible.. just a sorry once agian.. 3 strikes in my book. Just close your doors already. Customer service here.. 0 stars

Cupcakes that are fluffy, delicate and delicious! Better than a homemade cupcake. Large variety to choose from. Always fresh. Fast friendly service.

3 hours til close and once again they are out of stock on almost all the items I wanted. When you can actually get the items you want there good but seems they can t figure out there inventory.

I pre order a cake for my child's birthday and all the process was alright, but I realize after getting the cake that it was not fresh. and has tons of oily frosting, it tasted disgusting (the frosting) white flavorless bulk of grease. the chocolate cake was ok. Walmart cakes taste better to be honest with you. after my sons birthday some of the cake and most of the oily frosting was left there and started to show on the box. it was so disgusting to see that the frosting was not cream. It is too expensive for such a cheap ingredients. never will get a cake from them.

I bought a tall sprinkle covered cake (not pre-ordered) for my granddaughter's first birthday. It was very moist, the flavor (confetti) was so delicious. Our guests were commenting on how light and good the frosting was as well. We could not have been more pleased. It was stunningly beautiful AND melt in your mouth good!

Came in late night, about an hour before closing. Girl at counter looked annoyed and was very rude. Cupcakes were tasty but dry and overpriced. Would have been better off going somewhere else.

Great visit with great service. The cupcakes are extremely moist and delicious. We we're visiting to order a birthday cake but endulged anyway, a decision I do not regret.

I am not sure what is going on, but I loved getting cakes and cupcakes from Caketini. I have had such a great experience over the years until as of late.

I have been trying for nearly a couple of weeks to order a cake for my one-year wedding anniversary next week. I received one reply to my initial request, and sent two follow up emails to Cathy after that. Without a response. I even put in a new request via the website and have yet to receive a response to that.

I am not sure what has happened to the customer service but I am saddened and disappointed. I probably will not be ordering from them in the future as it seems they are not wanting my business.

I love the cake I got from here! It was so beautiful and Rachel was a big help when I couldn't make decisions about the design and flavors. She always responded to me within minutes if I emailed during business hours, and the next morning if I emailed after closing.

Is it just me or is there 5lbs of lard sitting on top of a piece of dry boxed cake mix? This was my first time going to this store and I have to say I was impressed by the staff and the appearance of the offerings in the case. Paid 44$ for 12 cupcakes that were a complete disapointment. I wish I would have just stopped at my local grocery store and picked something up, my guests would have been happier and I would not have thrown my money away. I only gave it 2 stars for the staff being so efficient and friendly.

I gave Caketini a 1 star review, because they didn't get my daughters cake colors correct! I went in with a week advance and sat down with one of the staff members, and we repeatedly made sure she knew the colors and stressed about it being the exact colors! My daughter is 5 let me remind you how us moms feel disappointed when something goes wrong.. I spent $200 on this cake, and when we approached the MANAGER with it being wrong, she didn't even budge to give us a discount just said they don't have time to fix it.

I would not ever buy or spend another dime at this place for the fact, they didn't care they messed up such a main part in a party! Is the cake! If they had questions or concerns they should have called me, but they didn't..

Please update your hours. We came by at 9:00 on a Saturday and you were closed.

Always delicious! Ordered a birthday sheet cake for my husband s surprise birthday party and it turned out fantastic!! Customer service is always very good here - I love it when a business cares about their customers!!

My only small complaint is that when I ordered the cake, I wasn t told there would be a filling in the middle and I surely wasn t told it would be some gooey creamy non-frosting stuff. Wasn t a fan of that but it was easy to spoon off. Overall, the cake was gorgeous and tasted delicious. Thanks Caketini!

Now I know why its named Caketini cause thats what you get a tini cake. The largest cake offered in the display case was the size of a giant cupcake @ $45 next smaller which was a bit shorter was $28. If it wasn't for a last minute dinner party that hostess requested a desert I wouldn't have splurged. The store front itself was very small but clean & tastefully (no pun intended) decorated selection was minimal counter help pleasant. Meh... hence 3 stars

Update...general consensus was it was way to sweet, I am in agreement.

The online order we prepaid for the previous day was lost. Had to wait 30 minutes while they filled it. But some of the flavors we ordered are not available. Didn't receive much sympathy from staff and was not a good experience.

The worst cupcake ever. Cake is cold, almost frozen. The frosting which taste like lard fell off the cupcake in one hard lump. Almost $9 for something I threw in the garbage. I called to talk to them. They won t teturn my call. Don t waste your money.

A birthday just isn't complete without cake! I walked in wanting two different cupcakes combined, the sweet girl behind the counter didn't bat an eyelash when it came to my personalized request. 5 minutes later I had my perfect cupcake in hand!

Ask for Julie Boone, she makes hands down the best cakes I've ever tasted and they look almost as good as she does.

My wife just had such a bad experience at this place today, 2 July at approximately 4:55 p.m. She was so anxious to purchase some desserts for dinner and went into the store where apparently only one young lady was present. She told my wife she would be right with her. The young lady proceeded to go on baking (microwaving), and walking back and forth from the kitchen. After several minutes, my wife asked if she was the only clerk at the store and she said yes but never apologized or got a clue that perhaps, I should take care of this not so happy customer. At that point my wife decided to simply walk out!

Common sense (apparently not so common nowadays) would tell anyone, take care of the customer present at that time instead of carrying on with other tasks for several minutes. I don t necessarily blame the inexperienced clerk but the store management for not properly staffing and training employees on basic courtesy and customer service fundamentals.

We will find establishments that take care of the basics and will be around in the future. Unless changes are made, this place will not be around long term as customers will not accept bad service despite making decent desserts.

So far not off to a good start. I am very concerned that I put a deposit down to hold my date for my wedding cake. At this point in my planning I can't have anything else go wrong! The manager will not return my emails or my phone calls. I have left countless voicemails with the phone number provides on the site. I still have not received any type of communication. Regarding my Wedding cake quote. I'm trying to spend money here and they just don't seem to want my business or anyone's business! I believe The Manager Cathy is scamming me!, we put a deposit down for my wedding cake and she has yet to send anything about a Quote like she promised. This is not okay to ignore customers especially customers who are trying to spend money at your location. I did not pay and will not pay money to be ignored! I thought she was willing to keep in better contact after the first few messages I left about wanting to spend my money here! I have included my 4th email to her. By her actions it seems to me that she took my $200 deposit to hold the date and ran with my money. I feel cheated and robbed!

Stopped by for dessert and got a strawberry champagne cupcake, and it was heavenly. The frosting melts in your mouth and has a subtle strawberry flavor.

I love getting cupcakes here for birthdays and such. We are all trying to diet so the last thing we need is a whole cake laying around. This way we each get our own personal cake, in our favorite flavor. I phone ordered on Tuesday and picked up on Wednesday and everything was perfect. Customer service was great and the cute girl meant to say 'Don't refrigerate or they'll dry out' but accidentally said 'don't refrigerate or they'll die" we got a good laugh out of it. I don't want dead cupcakes!
