Avoid ... I got my cat back after 48 hours of intensive care in a worse state than when we arrived. He constantly asks you for more and more examinations and in the end never gives an opinion, never gives their opinion ... I paid 687 euros and never had a discussion with a veterinarian, only a student (for once sympathetic). My pet is panicked and frightened, as for her state of health there is no improvement whereas according to them they had punctured the liquid and that she was doing better. When you go to the ward to see your animal, each person you meet will make sure not to meet your eyes to be sure that you will not ask them any questions (so young in the business and already so bitter it promises). In addition, my cat was returned to me in a disgraceful state of filth. I know that my cat is not easy, but all the same since he sedates all the time, he could have taken 5 minutes during a sedation to wash her at a minimum. Anyway it is a veterinary school and It shows every pretext is good for an exam and always more. I hire my legal protection today.

I had to go to the veterinary emergency at night for my little puppy who was suffering from vomiting, and difficulty breathing, the wait was long, the salty bill, we came back it still was not going well, they thought to a soft palate operation, stenosis but it was not that but something else, fortunately I called my veterinarian the next day to keep him informed and he made another diagnosis mtnt he recovered slowly suddenly I do not recommend despite a friendly team I unfortunately think it lacks experience.

Very satisfied with the Nac service; I have been taking my rabbit there for 5 years and it is the only place where it feels good. He sulks when I have to take him urgently elsewhere than at the CHUVA :)

Disorganization of the reception I make the appointment process on the site The reception modifies the appointments and makes errors Pre-filled files not transmitted The student calls me to the TEL for the appointment while I am stuck outside Finally it is the consultation service which had to redo the file. Nothing was ready. Good luck to the teams of very professional students.

The ENVA is a large school which welcomes veterinary students from all over France, whoever they may be, and who cultivates living together, it is very popular with veterinary students, French and international. Back from Erasmus, I appreciate even more how lucky we are to have been accepted.

TO FLEE !!! Two days ago they refused my english bulldog dog suffering from heart disease in the emergency department ... Fortunately I found another veterinary clinic of great competence who gave him all the necessary care and when I read the opinions of the netizens I do not regret not being home! What an example for our future veterinarians!

A sad story for those who love and protect animals...

A sad story for those who love and protect animals:
I found a small pigeon in a box and a towel and a piece of bread, it was in very bad condition it could not get on its legs, and when I understood that it was suffering, i decided to present him to the security post, and ask if the veterinary service could, take care of him, the agent called the emergency service, and that declined, taking care of the pigeon, he asked if I could pay 200 for it to be taken care of, I hallucinate at that time ...

The job of the veterinarian is to care for all animals whether wild or not ... without paying anything ...
The veterinarian of our century thinks more about money than saving or caring for animals ...

I would add that being a veterinarian is a passion where you have to have a heart and ready to do anything to save and care for animals, not just a job.

I have been coming for years and until then I was ...

I have been coming for years and until then I was more than very happy. Unfortunately end stage renal failure was detected in my 5 year old cat. The shock knowing that I made him follow there from the beginning. That day, we kept telling me that he had predispositions ... Great !! So it would have been nice to offer me an annual blood test rather than waiting for the disease to be serious enough like this. Result, 2 weeks hospitalized, a SUB and a life shortened to 2 years max ...
Afterwards, they did everything to save him and a big follow-up since, and I thank them for that.
But the other black point, hence also my bad mark, it is much less serious but unbearable ... The security guard at the entrance, the grizzled man who must have missed his exam in the police.
Excessive zeal or frustration at his post? he acts like a real little gendarme. Since August, I have been spending my time at school for my sick cat, but also for my 3 other animals. Each time it's question after question, and if we don't want to answer, we are limited to yelling at. "And what are you coming for? In which department? And where is your animal?" but seriously, what I get involved. I understand that he must watch the comings and goings because there is also the school but must also respect the customer.
The other time I forgot my ID. I came 3 times a week for my cat in intensive care, he refused to let me in, I showed him my CNI on my phone, he didn't want to know anything and gave me a moral lesson like i was 15 years old. I spent more than 4000 in 2 months and we treat customers like that ?? I'm really mega cool as a client, but fed up with this guy at the entrance. I came again today, again the questions. He asks me where my animal is, I turn my back to show him my cat in his bag and there he swings me that he does not understand, ended up telling me that if all the customers did that and then he blows ... I assure you that it will end badly, that we are going to fight or that I will just stop coming. I am a client and not a kid. Qd I go to other vetoes, like last month, I am greeted with a smile ... Thank you for thinking about it, because I am far from being the only one to suffer.

My dog was euthanized at the bottom because he had: the right front nerve severed, the ligaments of the broken left front leg, dysplasia of the hips and phantom pain, the doctors did everything for our dog and me and my family thank them for their work, their efforts, their speed! I highly recommend !

Awesome ! I drove over an hour for a canine ophthalmology consultation but I don't regret it. The welcome is remarkable, the vets and their students take the time to explain things to you, and they were very gentle with my dog. I will definitely stay there again!

Our cat triggered a severe urinary obstruction with excruciating pain. We brought him in at 7:00 am, he was taken care of and pain relieved in less than 15 minutes, taken care of in intensive care and then in general medicine. Report twice a day by concerned and precise veterinarians. I think this is the best possible care for him. He is expected to be discharged soon after 5 days of hospitalization. Hyper reassuring that such a level of care and professionalism exists near Paris. A big thank you to the teams!

Animal caring, patient and gentle NAC team. Complete establishment that has all the equipment you need to understand what animals have.
Top patient monitoring. Small flat, very unpleasant telephone secretary, and the cashier too. But even if it's far from home I continue to go there for their professionalism.

a star is already a lot. After several months I am still traumatized by my experience with the service nacs and more particularly the doctor P..NON. My rabbit has declared an unknown disease. He first lost his sight, then became thin, Dr. P ... NO treated him unknowingly as a guinea pig for this unknown disease. To make him test heaps, he was hospitalized for a long time, the doctor even told me at one point that he was eating and that he was even making little joys, which was not true because he was blind, did not work well. When I got my rabbit, the doctor (if we can call it that, because that's what he asked if he likes animals to treat them that way), he told me he was fighting for to live and to give it a chance. I consulted another veterinary specialist elsewhere, he told me that nothing could be done because it would be as if a human was waiting for a dialysis and he should not suffer. He died in my arms the next morning while I was going to euthanize him at this second clearly human veterinarian. 3 days later I get a call from a student who asks me if she can use the medical record and the experiments of my rabbit for these studies .... filthy, no respects and nauseated that one is let my pet suffer in telling me that there was hope. I was young and I trusted them. Never again would I go back to this pseudo clinic.

This clinic allowed my dog (an anatolian shepherd) to live two more years in good conditions because they agreed to operate on it. The other veterinarians asked for either an exorbitant price or advised us to euthanize him. He left at the age of 12, rare for this breed. And got two more good years.

I have real confidence in these people whose professionalism and erudition have convinced me and have above all contributed to the care of all my animals for years. With unparalleled listening and attention. A big thank you to all these researchers and students who put their knowledge to the benefit of our friends !!!

I know this place I did an internship here and I find it well and there are many animals.
Here are the animals that have hair, dogs, cats, sleeping bags, rabbits, cows, sheep, and also goats

For those who think that the veterinary clinic is ...

For those who think that the veterinary clinic is more accessible financially, it is not.

We declined a quote from our neighborhood veterinarian for the operation of our cat who had stones in the bladder. He asked us for 600 euros after two consultations of 200 euros and we preferred to leave him at the clinic.

While our vet saw on an X-ray that he had to be operated on, the clinic gave us to understand that it was not compulsory and kept him in hospital for 2 days.

After an ultrasound, a head-to-head radio, urine analyzes and blood tests and 350 euros, they find that it is necessary to operate and ask us for almost 800 euros more, for a total of around 1100 euros.

The financial aspect is omnipresent and at no point are you told about your pet's current state of health.

There is no kindness, too many interlocutors with information that gets lost and ends up wasting time and the feeling of having to negotiate everything is exhausting.

I wouldn't go into it any further, but in conclusion still prefer a neighborhood clinic to this factory where everything is long, where everything is expensive where everything is impersonal.

2 stars because I was happy with the review in the emergency room. On the other hand, the Department of Internal Medicine, a different story. My cat was old, diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and full of nodules in the throat. The vet already knows that it is cancer, it is marked in BIG but they manage to make you cling to a very small hope by not pronouncing any annoying word and the perpetual "we will proceed to other exams and blah blah ". I went on a meeting with the cardio to know if a biopsy is possible, then after biopsy, analysis, treatment ...... All along this way you are lightened of your money and all this eagerness to win 1-2week of life.
I did not try to recontact them because they will drown me in a medical mumbo jumbo that will make sense but for me the duty of a veto is to propose the options, a cat who is 12 years old with a very aggressive cancer it is not useful strictly for nothing to stress him more by useless examinations.
End of the story, I had to go back to my vet in the north because impossible to find one of honest in idf (I'm in my 5th vet) who looks at the results of analysis and then asks me What I want to know, I answer him that I want a real diag and my options, he answers me "Well it's cancer but that they know it since lgtps, your cat has for 3 weeks max and if you had continued in their delirium you would have had for 3 000. And the only reasonable solution for your cat is to make him sting even if I propose this solution as a last resort but then the cancer is too aggressive. In one sentence this professional summed up the work ethic of veto - a diag + treatment options.
Message to vetoes or vet students: review of my adventure, this veto has a packed room of customers FIDELES. Your teachers or your experience did not teach you b.a. -ba trade. Let me summarize: CAPITALIZE on a loyal clientele, fill the need for satisfaction of your customers and MAXIMIZE your profits. Run after the small winnings and you will have a slew of customers like me who runs after his 6th vet and is now ready to do 300km just to have his beast treated properly because it is well worth it and especially it is cheaper! !!
Another point of experience that I learned, remember to ask your vet who gives you a prescription how much each drug costs and if there is a cheaper one. For here is another practice you charge an expensive medoc while there is a cheaper and just as effective.
You gather in your establishment young people who adore the animals and they come out for the most part !! Bourgelat would not be happy at all.
However nothing to complain about the kindness of the staff, you are relieved of qq euros but tactfully.

Very interesting structure. Veterinarians are professional and empathetic. On the other hand, I deplore a lack of professionalism and empathy of the reception and care center. That day, May 27, we took our cat to the emergency room. When we arrived, we were told that we had to make an appointment for emergencies (total inconsistency). So we waited in the waiting room. After a few hours, a receptionist came to tell me that I had to get up because I was not sitting in the right place. He implied that I had moved the seats. I told him that I had found them like this and that it was his colleague who had asked me to distance myself from my mother (again inconsistency because we were wearing masks respectively and were together). So I stayed up. Thereafter, wanting to relieve my knee I sat on the edge of the seat next to my mother (she on crutches and having health problems). And there the drama, three people came quickly (2 reception staff and apparently the director) vociferating asking me to leave immediately. In short, being called to order in this way was humiliating. At more than 40 years old, being yelled and released in this way is intolerable, especially since my mother was on crutches and she found herself standing outside with no possibility of sitting down. Certainly we are in a demanding and exceptional health situation but that does not exclude the rules of decorum and respect. We do not come from a happy heart (sick animal) and we pay for care so the least we can do is treat users with decency and empathy. I have always respected this institution but today I have no esteem for this establishment even if I keep a deep respect for the veterinary staff. Besides, I would like to thank the veterinarian who took care of our cat because he was attentive and patient. His presence raises the level. Hoping that improvements will be made to preserve the reputation of Chuva. Disappointed to have experienced this moment under these circumstances (worried about the cat's state of health).

TO SHIP IF YOU HAVE A LIMITED BUDGET !!!

TO SHIP IF YOU HAVE A LIMITED BUDGET !!!
On Wednesday my cat fell from the 9th floor, so we brought him back to the emergency room of this establishment, thinking that the costs would come back to us cheaper given that several foromes crimped him, until then nothing abnormal. The night consultation was 95 euros here also we had been warned from the start. BUT THE DELUGE HAS BEGUN from the moment we take our cat and give us an estimate of 815 euros to keep it under observation. ABSOLUTELY NOT GOING THE MEANS we were told that it could be a lot less. We therefore had to pay 30% of the sum. For 2 days we kept calling to get information on everything that was done, their answers were computer systems vague until Friday or the accounting called us to tell us that there will be a transaction. (without the 800 euros of observation) 1000 euros ... Because they found a fracture in the cartilage and it is necessary to pay a deposit of 350 euros, we accept because we have no choice until the next day or the estimate goes up to 1200 euros, now it starts to get complicated because it's more than a month's salary. And this morning we are called to let us know that the quote is 1400 euros. There it was too much because it is ABOVE all our resources, we had to be forced to recover our cat in a PITOYABLE state
- she has visibly lost weight
- it was yellow while its base color is immaculate white
-and in addition suffers from the arm because of the wounds of the infusions.
Nevertheless I veto us to still prescribe some drugs. In total we will have to pay 700 euros for a simple diagnosis and hospitalization.
So please listen to the negative opinions, do not be sisters. Because I know a lot of people have been through the same thing as us, and I don't want it to happen to other people.

Impeccable! We took our cat in an emergency. She was immediately admitted. They discovered him the broken basin. They operated on it, everything went perfectly well. We have always been informed. She stayed there for two weeks. The follow-up after was also perfect. Friendly doctors, smiling, very kind. Thank you very much for everything.

I brought back an injured pigeon to be treated in the center which takes care of wild animals, like pigeons, etc. The service has always been open 24 hours a day, on the website it says the same thing and if you call no one don't tell yourself that it now closes at 6 p.m. and the service starts at 10 a.m. Staff at the reception rude and without any empathy. They say no one can open the door next to the reception to drop off the injured animal. Fortunately a young girl came out and I asked her if she worked there. She said yes, I explained the situation to her, and she said "don't worry, I'll take care of it, I'm working exactly where you should drop the injured animal". I thank her very much for her kindness and empathy, on the other hand the two gentlemen at the reception really not professional and no desire to help.
If you work in a vet school or less you have to show respect for animals that need help.

Even in an emergency I will not go back, my dog has lost half of his ear because of disastrous work which caused necrosis.
Catastrophic, I hope the day they are more competent .. Disaster.

Similar experience to Chantal (comment below), they ruined my cat's life. They come with their big hooves, do several dangerous experiments on my cat, justifying them with arguments to scare, for 2000 later tell me that it is a bacterium that can be cured by simple medication, a conclusion which in the end could have been tried from the start but no it is better to make people spit your money, show off in front of students etc ...
Result after a surgeon destroyed a muscle in my cat for lack of skill, my cat continues his life with an even more serious problem than before, even the vets who followed the file afterwards were shocked at the choices made.

So after a lot of rage and disappointment:
run away if you care about your pet and your wallet.

My cat had suffered from a diaphragmatic hernia for several years with more than gloomy veterinarian opinions. In 3 days, they carried out the consultation, the radio as well as the operation which was a real success.
I cannot thank enough the whole team, very attentive and competent, who took care of my little cat who is slowly recovering from his operation. Thank you for adding years of life to her by my side.
You are awesome !

Do not even deserve the obligatory star, what to say apart from a beautiful band of tocards, dog suffering from an undiagnosed cancer whereas in care at home and this for several months with palpations etc., result an animal which suffered for nothing on weeks with the key a euthanasia whereas it could have been treated at the time because not metastasized cancer, to FUIR! would our animals be but guinea pigs and their masters of money pumps?

Welcoming but the key word is "quote". Gives you a quote of 900 euros and seeing that you refuse, many come back to put pressure on you to announce 700 then 400 and in the end 113 .. the legend said that the care was cheaper .. urban legend even the student you said to go to another vet as it is cheaper. We are told that they are not worried about the cat's state of health but prefer to keep it for 5 days and then come back to tell you that the cat's condition is worrying. A simple emergency visit on weekends and it's 96 euros ... I'm ashamed for them because they know full well that you have no choice but to save your animal. establishment however financed by laboratories and brands. I would never set foot in this pseudo animal structure again.

It's incompetent EMERGENCIES!

It's incompetent EMERGENCIES!
I called two clinics before them they listened to me and directed me to school or other clinics, because after my explanations of the symptoms they all assumed a herniated disc except The school that told me to come once there 4 hours waiting for them to hide my dog.
After which they tell me that it is a hernia but they do not have a scanner in working order and directs me to another clinic asks me to pay the consultation which seems to me abusive because on the phone all those called previously told me without consultation, but ok I pay then tell me that I have to pay a consultation again one to tell me the same thing and then they will make me a scanner but not before a day because not of place before monday !!!!!
So a day of hospitalization !!!
An additional consultation
A scanner
For a possible intervention !!!

No star: 3 hours of waiting we announce a consultation to 78 because it is the weekend then we add 200 then we go to 550 and 880 for a cat that has a small abscess and we said to have to keep under observation for several days. When asked if there is another alternative: "no", otherwise move your cat and sign a discharge. Most certainly, voluntarily, they do not sell me the antibiotic so that I am annoyed and have to come back. I went to another veto much more correct two days later where I paid much less and where the wait was not 3 hours. There was no need for a drain as the others had advocated, just care ... It should not be believed that the veto school is cheaper and more they try to make you feel guilty ...

The emergency department is excellent.

The emergency department is excellent.
The means are there. (I had never seen oxygen glasses, ecg permanently in other veterinary clinics)
My bunny choking to the point of convulsing at 6 p.m. was taken care of immediately. 15min later she would have gone there. (So yes my pet was taken quickly, I surely had diarrhea, but I will go back even if I have to wait 3 hours (after all when we go to the emergency room we expect to wait no?)).

During my visits to my pet (who got out) I saw a dog in a coma with pipes everywhere that got out as well.

Concerning the invoice it is a certain amount, but an animal is a responsibility and I do not doubt the passion. Especially that the prices and the financial limits are clear and taken into account.

On March 4, I took my cat to the Enva emergency room for treatment, I regret it today. It was only a succession of examinations that only worsened his condition, but in no case was the animal's well-being and its recovery taken into account.
Mina died on March 19 from acute pancreatitis during a laparotomy.
On March 2, first symptoms, the diagnosis is made at the treating veterinarian by abdominal ultrasound. She has severe acute pancreatitis associated with diffuse peritonitis, and the severity of the disease suggests complications that should have been prevented.
March 4 to 10: hospitalization in medicine.
On March 10, his discharge was decided with suspicion of acute pancreatitis improving and finding a pleural effusion.
March 12: enva emergencies.
I am told septic peritonitis and emergency operation the same evening or the next day.
March 12 to 19: hospitalization in intensive care.
March 13: ultrasound with puncture of an abdominal mass.
March 14: CT scan to reduce operating time.
March 15: waiting for the results of the scanner which do not confirm anything more. Following the puncture, the abdominal effusion has become more important, she has difficulty breathing and is put on oxygen.
March 16: Veterinarians are in favor of attempting a laparotomy as a chance of recovery, knowing that she is not able to withstand the operation.
Mina died of cardiopulmonary arrest during the surgery; I was able to see from the comments that we did not want to revive her.
From the start of the hospitalizations, the initial diagnosis confirmed by the post-mortem analysis was not taken into account, but as many examinations as possible were carried out to make the students work, causing him additional pain and the deterioration of his condition. . This had a significant financial cost (2770 ).
It is obvious that I will no longer trust the enva to treat an animal. There was incompetence, lack of humanism and non-professionalism.

Usually followed at the Cordeliers CHV in Meaux, my veto advised me to go to ENVA to consult for my cat's skin problems since it was outside his area of expertise. I called in the morning, the very nice secretary called me 20 minutes later to schedule an appointment at the start of the afternoon!
The intern who received us was very gentle and conscientious in her interrogation, the questionnaire is very complete and nothing has been left to chance. She then took my cat to the consultation room where a qualified veterinarian and another intern were waiting. I could not attend the consultation due to current sanitary conditions, I was qq apprehensive because Dobby is usually very fearful towards people he doesn't know. Everything went well, not a spit nothing! Proof of this is their sweetness.
After qq exams they took me to the consultation room to explain to me in detail the 3 tracks that we will follow and the mini treatment to come for a new visit in 2 months.
They were very nice, their explanations were complete and they even complimented me on the way I take care of my cat's skin.
In short, a big thank you to them 3, Dobby did not even sulk when we returned!

I have known this establishment for years and the goal was to provide care at reasonable prices by making the students work!
Well it's over !!!
We are making numbers, the prices have exploded and are at the same level as the emergencies of the sector.
An advantage is that you have the specialists available, in particular for NACs with a supplement if the penalty payment must be contacted ...

A school of very good level which trains veterinary students competent in all fields! The richness of the teaching allows the students to be successful in various sectors: from surgery to compression and not only theoretically but also in a practical way. I add that the negative comments on the care given to pets at CHUVA have NO link with the level of this school!

In veterinary matters, there is good and not so good. The theory is more present than the practice.
There are negligence diagnoses that cost the life of your pet even if we are told "we can not see everything"!
As in a previous comment, we must ourselves be a little veto to tell them what to do, still need to be heard and it's annoying.
Assumptions are not enough we must go after investigations especially when it comes to tumor. Loss of time, money and your pet.
I think it's a business business before medicine.
One wonders why the rates are so high. An ultrasound for a cat 160 for a human 90 .
I see a general lack of trust in veterinarians who are more concerned about making their business profitable before they take care, and if that fails and well for you, they will not risk anything. Very limited professional awareness.

Competent emergency, the diversity of specialists and opinions allow a good care of your animal. Big downside, I always get my very dirty animal, impregnated with urine and droppings. I think they don't take them out often which in my opinion, stress the animal

I recommend 100% !!
I did a 1.5 hour drive to get to Maison Alfort with one of my sick cats.
Doctor Canonne knew how to find the cause of my cat's problem (whereas with my city veterinarian, we fought several months with the treatments, without much result) it was very gentle and very professional. So definitely, the quote is relatively high, and I spent a day there, but it allowed me to relieve my cat enormously, and to adapt the treatment as well as possible. In addition, I had an excellent follow-up, I received the results of the exams and analyzes by email, but also by mail, and a duplicate was sent to my city veterinarian. So don't hesitate!
Also, I took a second cat for a study on feline reproduction, I once again had an excellent veterinarian. Two visits, and twice fully satisfied.

We came on November 13, 2018 at 4pm in an emergency.
Our female husky had had contractions since 24h with no puppies coming out.
In less than an hour she was taken care of.
On the radio, 7 puppies, some poorly. It was not won.
Finally the Chuva team did a good job
7 puppies from 450 to 650 grams without needing resuscitation. We understand better why they did not go out.
Thanks to all the young team for their job
All is well for the female husky. You can follow his evolution and his babies on the instagram: Loupo_neyka_husky

The CHUVA is a place where you can find the best for your pet. I brought my dog there several times (vaccination, dysplasia of both hips: carrying out a juvenile pubic symphysiodesis, came in emergency for very pronounced slaughter) and my cat (vaccination, castration) and I always came away very satisfied . Some people complain of the too long waiting time: it is a university hospital, the students must see the animal in pre-consultation before the specialist examines it, it is normal and it is only like that that you can find competent veterinarians everywhere else in France after they leave school. Unfortunately it lengthens the time of presence on the place, but with a good book it does not pose any problem.

Very well received. They did the maximun for my loulou. They have everything on hand to look after our little animals. Only downside the price is very very expensive. It must deter people from using one or more animals. The shelters are full. Make an effort on veterinary rates
