Being very attached to my dog, I decided to do everything to save her. It has been operated by the best specialists, a heavy and risky operation that very few veterinarians are able to perform. This operation went well and a week later my dog is walking again! I'm really grateful to the amazing team of surgeons and neurologists at the forefront, a great care team. Every night I was received and could visit my dog. She was constantly monitored. I had news every day, I have never seen such a professional follow-up, even in humans ... I am particularly grateful to Dr. Alix Barbarino, who took care of my dog and who has always shown great kindness and investment.

For rabbits in emergency, I strongly advise against. The students do the consultation alone, the one I did not know how to handle a rabbit at all, forgot to take the temperature, so even more stressed my rabbit in severe digestive stasis.
Any sudden stasis in the rabbit is very very serious and must be taken in total urgency. I had to wait 4 hours before my rabbit is taken care of, without pain (while the pre consultation, the diag stasis was laid), without fluid, nothing. According to his radio, there should have been an operation done urgently to help his stomach, nothing.
For the hospitalization, I had signed a paper specifically asking not to resuscitate if there was cardio respiratory arrest. I recently had the hospitalization report, they tried to revive it ... So do not take into account the wishes of the masters.
Afterwards, I inquired about Maison Alfort's reputation for rabbits ... According to the testimonies I had, to escape, whether for sterilization, radio, emergencies ... I learned hard my lesson. Our 3 year old rabbit suffered from otitis media in each of his ears and had to be operated on twice by Dr Pignon. This kind of operation is always a source of stress for our animals and ourselves, but Dr Pignon was very attentive and answered all our questions before the operations and everything went to WONDERFUL! Our rabbit had to remain hospitalized 3 days before we could pick it up but once we got back we had 0 post-operative concerns. I went to this establishment thinking that the prices would be lower than the exorbitant prices charged by veterinarians in Paris. Big mistake. My 4 year old cat was operated and hospitalized 15 days. Despite a sad end, the teams of Dr Christelle MAUREY were very concerned by the rather specific case of my cat (ureteral bypassed from the kidney and planted in the intestines, with multi-resistant bacteria and pyelonephritis). Everything has been done to put it back on its feet, but unfortunately even the best specialists, faced with kidneys too weak, do not control everything. If I do not put 5 stars, it is that I have a small criticism to make as for the follow-up during the hospitalization: it happened not to have news during the day, with impossibility to take it during the week end and public holidays., nor the possibility of seeing my cat (certainly because of COVID, but 15 days is very long).

My cat made several visits to the veterinary school, the staff were always pleasant and always took the time to explain the results, upcoming exams, treatments, etc ... We had an appointment in several departments Different and the staff have always been correct. No unnecessary exams, no over-medicalization or relentlessness.
