The staff in store are fantastic, I'm always looked after by the girls there and everyone is super knowledgeable! The staff in the lab are always helpful even when they get really busy and make sure I'm happy with my prints every time, I go there often enough they greet me by name! Wouldn't recommend anywhere else.
Zohar was a legend, help me out in store big time even though my broken English was getting in the way he was very patient and kind to take the time to understand my needs, can t say the same about the lady on the phone though she needs to spend some time with Zohar to learn a thing or two about Customer Service... thanks again Zohar from Bondi Pop up Store

Dropped in today to find out more about slide scanners. I had a few questions. The guy who served me showed no personal interest. My presence was clearly a distraction. The moment he had to look up the spec online it became all too much for him. Eventually he asked a colleague if he remembered what it said on the side of the last box they had seen. When I indicated disappointment in his service he looked at me shocked and said I answered
Your question didn t I? . So he has no idea what real customer service looks or feels like. Needless to say I made no purchase.
Only shop here if you already know what you re buying, customer service is very average! Staff seemed preoccupied and were not very helpful. I practically sold the item to myself.
Have been here and few times as I live around the corner and each time I have been dissappointed by terrible service. The manager basically didn't even want to speak to me and was the rudest customer service manager I have ever dealt with and the staff are happy to stand around and chat than help the customers. Do NOT go here, you would get much better service at Harvey Norman or basically anywhere else.

This place has lost two rolls of my film twice as well my friends friends film. When I come in to collect they always tell me to come back in a hour but when I do come back it s still not done. Please, Have better communication and time management. It d be nice to have a correct time rather than come back tomorrow .
Mark is the best! He always goes above and beyond for us. Today (on a Sunday) he stayed back an extra half an hour to assist me and smiled the whole time. He is our go to guy for everything photography and drone and we won't go anywhere else! He deserves a pay rise!!
These guys are fantastic and fast! I always develop my film here and I usually have my photos within a day, if not on the SAME day! Plus they give you a new roll for every roll you develop with them, so I haven t bought film in months either! These guys know what they re talking about too, I always come here to get new audio and camera equipment, not just for the prices but for their expertise too!
I purchased a tripod from here last year, which broke on shoot, a year later I brought it back in to the guys and the wonderful Jo helped

Excellent, knowledgeable and very friendly staff, specially Joe who was very patient and took his time to explain and show me different camera models and brands, there was no pushy sales pitch just honest good old fashion customer service, I ended purchasing a Nikon D850 and 3 lenses a AF-S Nikkor 24-70 ED VR 2.8, an AF-S Nikkor 200-500 ED VR 5.6 and last but not least the mighty AF-S 70 200 FL ED VR 2.8.

After an underwhelming and unimpressive experience with Paxtons Bondi Junction, I recently purchased a Lumix FZ1000 from DigiDirect.
Staff member Marcus was very helpful in outlining the features of the camera and gave me honest comparisons against competing camera models. When I requested a spare battery which was not yet in-stock, he was even willing to call a competing camera store to try and source it for me.
I appreciated Marcus' honesty and will return to DigiDirect for all future camera purchases.

Good service and the printing quality is fine and plenty of frame choices. Stocks cameras and accessories from Leicas to polaroid, so something for everyone there too. Buttttt photo printing machine wait is painful, so prep with photos on a usb or anything other than relying on Bluetooth and wifi...

I ve taken various different types of 35mm film to DigiDirect in Westfield Bondi Junction and each time I am amazed by their efficiency, quality and friendliness... I would never get my film developed anywhere else!
Super friendly staff, great stock levels, very organised store, and when they didn't have an item in store, they ordered it in and it arrived very soon after.
The prices are competitive and they are knowledgeable. However it's a pity the store manager hasn't a clue about customer service or friendliness. It doesn't take much to be pleasant and smile; and it would make the whole experience more enjoyable!
With a special 10% off all Canon products this weekend, we couldn't hold back. The team at Bondi Junction went beyond the call to provide fantastic service and prices. They have become our go to store when we need to increase our inventory of equipment.
I bought the Insta360 One X from them and they had easily the best prices in town. The staff were totally awesome and helpful. The store was also easy to find which also helps.
Went to enquire about the panasonic Gh4 in which they didn't have in stock so we asked for help in which camera is similar to it and within the price range. The person helping us did not seem to be bothered at all as he thought we were not serious buyers. We were asking a few questions to make sure we were getting the right lens for the right camera. He proceed to answer in a rude manner. We were turned off so went else where.
But overall shop store was nice and the other assistant i could hear was very helpful to his customer. Maybe it was just a long day he was having.
Went in there today to purchase a lens that I needed for an upcoming job - On enquiring about it I was told the lens was "Very expensive" - Like I didnt know lenses were expensive? Then the rep refused to test the lens for me and moved on to another guy wanting to buy a $40 SD card!
I left with my $1000 - What disgusting service.

The worst attention ever!! And i went twice in two different days. I had to ask 4 times for help to different staff members because they would leave me to decide about frames and sizes that i didn't have a clue on. The staff would reply to my questions with short and careless words . I asked to print a picture and they told me "they couldn't guarantee the delivery on time" because they are too busy. I had to grab the frames by myself and compare the picture to see wich was the perfect size. Awful.. Very disrespectful and 0 in customer service.

I don't live anywhere near Bondi but these guys are the only people I trust with processing and printing my film shots! The guys doing the films really know their stuff and I feel like their service is genuine. I love how I always get to chat about different film cameras and get their opinions/tips & tricks. I remember one incident where half of my photos didn't come out, but instead of acting indifferent to the matter and shooing me away since it was after the store was officially closed, they explained with patience what went wrong (turns out it was a faulty setting in my camera) and offered a practical solution. I can be confident in saying that the customer service and quick production is not compromised with their reasonable price points. Awesome stuff!

I have been going into DigiDirect to develop my film for just over a year now and I have been extremely happy with the service that they provide. The staff are so lovely and are always happy to offer me advice on any different types of film I may want to try. Harry and James are especially helpful. I genuinely enjoy going in because I get to see them! The film processing itself is also very quick. I usually don t have to wait more than a day before my film is ready. Great shop, great deals and actually decent people running the place. I've shopped there 3-4 times now and drop a few thousand into gear. I've found even if there is a mistake they will go above and beyond to rectify issues and make the deals even better.

I had some pretty good experiences at DigiDirect Bondi. Some of the staff are super helpful. Prices are great too. Some items I've been looking for havent been in stock, but they ordered them in, no deposit required, and I received them 2 days later.
Looking for a good price on a Nikon D500? DigiDIRECT Bondi Junction has a huge range of entry level and professional DSLR's however their prices are not competitive at all. I visited the store to purchase a D500 however the best they could do on a $3000 camera was a saving of $100. If you area in the market for a new D500 Camera House in Miranda and Broadway has them starting from $2650. JB HIFI will also match that price and if you take advantage of the cash back offer from Nikon at the moment a new D500 could be yours for just $2500 saving yo urself $500. I only wright this review to persuade DigiDIRECT to strive for better competitive prices and the star rating for this business should be around a 3 however this review is sure to attract more attention If i rate them 1 star.

Being a long time customer of DigiDirect Bondi Junction since it first opened it's doors back in 2007, I can honestly say that I have come to know each and every member of team . Their level of customer service & knowledge of their products is paramount to none.
I've personally shopped in the past at all of the other major camera retailers from Paxtons , Camerahouse, Teds etc. But not once have any of these retailers come close to matching the professionalism and price of DigiDirect too. That is why I constantly return there to purchase my camera gear and accessories as well as my friends and family too!

Needed some A2, A3 and A4 prints done and first went to Harvey Norman, who did a poor job. Tried again at Digidirect, and was so well taken care of by Tom - he provided excellent advice, gave great service, fair and reasonable prices, and good turnaround time. And most importantly, the prints came out perfectly.
I wouldn't hesitate to go back, or recommend these guys to others.
Above and beyond customer service at the Bondi branch. Paul spent an incredible amount of patient time as different lenses were tried out. The price was excellent and they are very knowledgable without any up sell pressure so you'll walk away with what's right for you.
It's a great balance between the confidence of buying from a genuine Australian retailer and the prices found online.

Amazing customer service. Took passport photos for my 3 year old, very patient and accommodating! When we lost the photos, they printed off more and didn t even charge us.
Ordered a camera case from here which said it was in stock online but it wasn't. I was rushed into putting deposit on it as the guy said it was coming from Brisbane, I thought it would be a couple of days delivery. No. Three weeks later after ringing a few times they said yes its definitely here somewhere so I went in and they couldn't find it. Four weeks on and they've never called me - something wrong with their system.
Not sure how this store is still there..... The staff are utterly useless and rude.

i've always had a lovely experience when i drop by. It's so hard to find help when it comes to buying expensive gear or scanning your beloved negs. The guys at the lab really helped me create a high res scan to my taste and the camera dept always give me the best possible price ,, and its genuine . I feel good there .. I really love this store. I highly recommend any professional looking for a great fuji Frontier scan to try them out, they will help you , dev your negs and even give you a free roll of film ! .. huray ! .. the way it should be ! ! !

Not only are the staff completely useless, they have no knowledge about photography or the products they sell. i mean it's actually laughable how little they know. There's no point going to this shop. They're also really rude. All my experiences with them has been negative in some way.

This place often has some good prices but sadly this shop is hit and miss for service. There are a handful of people working there who come across as arrogant and condescending, though there is one lady (?Emma) who is always helpful so the extra star is for her. I d prefer to go into the city or even JBHifi, sadly as a local this place is definitely not a favourite :(
