Nice driver and fast deliveries so far, nothing has broken

Things as usual. Nobody calls at the door or even leaves a delivery attempt notice in the letter box. I just got a message from Amazon about unsuccessful attempt and then the bulky package immediately was directed to the Packet Shop.

The delivery person could only park the parcel in the hallway because he felt too sick to take the parcel to the 3rd floor. Always new and impolite excuses. The way DPD deals with customers is terrifying.

I am glad that the parcel delivery man still thinks I live in the hallway. No, I have an apartment with a front door. And the package should be parked in front of it. It would be great if in the future you could also write down the address of the neighbor to whom you drop off the parcel on the parcel label. The "neighbor" noted on the parcel label does not live in five houses to the right or left of me ... The parcel search continues!

DPD is completely incompetent. Every time, parcels are placed in front of someone else's front door somewhere nearby without ringing. Finding and receiving the packages is pure gamble.

Very unfriendly courier but that's what you are used to at DPD. Carton totally damaged. Ringing is no longer coincidental, I still saw the parcel carrier just leave the parcel in front of the front door, where everyone would have access. That is not the 1 time. Or just drop it off in the parcel shop even though you are waiting at home. Dietwas not at all and when you complain in the service center they are cheeky on the phone

3 delivery attempts have been made. For the first two, delivery failed, I don't know why. I was at home on all three delivery attempts. When the package finally arrived, it was completely demolished. I'm really glad I didn't order fragile parts.

DPD do not deliver the parcel to the flat door. I received an email pretending that my parcel was delivered in front of my door, but there was nothing and I am still running after my parcel. No success to reach the DPD hotline. It is only an answering machine saying that my parcel was delivered !

The parcels are delivered randomly anywhere on the property and declared as delivered, the parcels are often in very poor condition and the drivers do not even bother to deliver the parcel to the right recipient but simply hand it over to a neighbor without ringing the recipient. What is not possible is that the doorbell rings at a neighbor and the package is then simply placed in the stairwell of the around 50 party house without ringing my bell. On June 23, 2020, a large and heavy 26 Kg package was delivered to us. Home garden was specified as the storage location.
The package was lifted over our yard gate. However, since the gate is 2.05m high, it could have been impossible for the DPD driver to park the package without dropping it. Unless he has monkey arms.
Due to the inevitable fall of the goods, the packaging and of course the contents were damaged. Of course, the customer who ordered the goods has the effort.

Just put it in front of the neighbor's door. There were only things worth almost 500 in the package. We even specified a desired location and it does not mean that it is not in front of the neighbors door, but today the drivers can no longer read and are lazy to walk. It is a very bad service. Package pick-up booked by appointment. The deadline was exceeded by 4 days until it was finally picked up. For this you pay a corresponding fee that you could have saved yourself. Delivery took place with a further delay; However, the tracking of the consignment revealed that a delivery attempt had been made at 19:21 in the evening.

In response to a request, DPD informed us that there was no physical delivery but that a scan was carried out, which is then displayed incorrectly in the system as a delivery with no result.

As I understand it, such a procedure is then suitable for fraudulently manipulating the display in the shipment tracking!

In the case of shipments with a goods value of several hundred euros, it is questionable because it cannot be checked for transport damage. I saw the car on my way to the apartment door until I had opened it (I live on the ground floor) and was at the front door, there was nothing left to see, only the package was next to the door.
Strangely, everything works perfectly smoothly for the men in yellow (DHL), so the DPD should think about it.

Unfortunately, I have to make sure that every order is NOT sent with DPD. Every time the DPD driver places the parcels outside the high-rise building (70 parties) in the open in front of the front door, where strangers can and unfortunately already have them. DPD's customer service responded seriously that the driver is not obliged to ring the neighbors' doorbell in order to get into the house and therefore my parking location cannot be reached ... I had therefore expressly revoked the parking permit from customer service (for my apartment door) However, the DPD driver just keeps dropping parcels outside ... Very annoying and unprofessional, only DPD can help to avoid it. All other parcel services manage to park the parcels inside the front door without any problems.

Totally unprofessional and unreliable service. Parcel carrier delivers the parcel before (!) The previously communicated time and reports this as a refusal of acceptance and sends it back. After calling the hotline, we promise to deliver again for the same day. Then we stay at home the day, wasting a vacation day and what happens - unfortunately nothing. After another call (always on the same day), the operator does not know about a new delivery for the same day.

Result: One day of vacation wasted for a non-delivery. This then takes place the next day when the parcel delivery person complains vehemently (since he was there for free the day before)

And: this is not the first negative experience with DPD. Without further comment.

Quite a terrible shipping company and the drivers are anything but friendly or helpful.
Delivery to the apartment is no longer necessary for them and it is a shame that shipping is still paid for. Probably has to do with the size of the package and the floors. The deliverer deliberately stopped delivering packages to me. If I discover in good time that goods are being sent with DPD, I will forward them to the pick-up shop or they will be returned to the seller with the reason that they cannot be delivered.
In the event of complaints, the hotline reassures you with warm words that they will investigate the matter, but nothing will happen.
