DoubleTree Hotel Aurora Review

I was at the Doubletree for a work event. I love when we do our employee excellence awards at the Doubletree. They serve a magnificent breakfast with all the amenities and the staff are so friendly. The ballroom is beautiful and creates just the right atmosphere for this event.

Convenient location right off of the hwy. Clean rooms that are large with big windows. Get a west facing room so you can see the Rockies.

I have stayed in many hotels and for the price, this hotel should offer a lot more. The hotel seems to very outdated and not as clean as one would imagine. The showers are small and at nose level which is about 5'9. The beds are not that great either. Furthermore, the hotel only offers free wifi in their business center which is actually an open room at the front of their lobby. This can be very distracting if you actually have some work to do. They do offer paid wifi for $13 per day. (who doesnt offer free wifi.......) I honestly would much rather stay somewhere else.

Exactly what you hope for and pay for. AirBNB's are still a vastly better value, but when ya gotta hotel, DoubleTree generally delivers, and this one does for sure.

Great place to stay. BUT if you take the shuttle from airport make sure to find out exact location of pickup, east or west#

Checking on was great, they handed all four of us cookies (which thrilled not only my kids, but myself as well). Room was wonderful, the pool and spa area was our favorite of course. 10/10 would recommend and stay there again.

Accommodated our late arrival with a cookie and a smile. They have a great breakfast and waiter staff.

The food was just not good. The eggs were undercooked and tasted...off. Not sure how to describe it, but I only managed 2 bites and the guy next to me said the same. Wasn't a lot to choose from, a little fruit, eggs, or bland potato's. There was bacon, but very greasy and over cooked.

I just seen a picture of a sign stating that you will no longer serve the military or military guests. I would like to know why? What reasonable explanation would you have for not serving our military? I served and am a combat vet. This sickens me to no end. Plus last time I did stay EVERYTHING in your wanna be store in the lobby was way over priced and staff was rude and just didn't want to really be of assistance to anyone unless they was spending a lot of money. I will send this out to every military person I know! And will keep doing it until i get appropriate answers

The service was lovely, the rooms spacious and clean, and the hotel itself was beautiful. I recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind.

It's an ok hotel. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room. Also for a dog friendly hotel, they were sure quick to charge us a noise fee literally an hour after we checked in because "there were three complaints" yet I never saw any one else or heard any else around us. Secondly there is no free continental breakfast like at most hotels. Also the renovations caused dust and it really messed with my allergies. Not the best hotel experience.

It was a nice hotel could have had a couple more chairs in the common area and if you know for you cookies all your guest should know about them and get some how can someone visit someone at the hotel and as about the cookies and person staying at there astablishment should have received cooking and knew about it when they check in that not good so had to take 2start for those things and they didn't clean my room every day

After devastating events, Monica took care of families who were out of their home. Although booked up, the DoubleTree did everything they could to help and even brought cookies and inquired to see if there was anything else they could do. If you care about staying at a hotel where the staff cares, this is the place. Thank you, DoubleTree family!

Wonderful and friendly staff. The King suite is well equipped with everything to make you feel at home.

Not routinely clean. Unhelpful service, swimsuit taken with towels and returned next day moldy. Panty liner by hot tub for two days.... restaurant took 45 min to bring a salad.... It was not what you'd expect for the cost that's for sure. Sad. Stayed there to take daughter to Children's....

Outstanding place. Friendly staff, great service and great food. Loved their cookies.

The location is great. Easy to downtown Denver and the airport. Nice view of mountains if your room faces west. The restaurant and bar seemed nice. The downside is filthy carpeting in the rooms and hallways and dirty drapes. Also, the city of Aurora is not very nice. Lots of strip malls and chain restaurants with some low income areas that you want to avoid. If you are going there to indulge in "recently-legalized party favors" then Aurora would be the place. It looks like theres a store on every corner.

Love this hotel. Recently renovated. Great place for drinks. And who can beat the cookies?!?!

Pretty simple, if you advertise items (fridge) and don't deliver, the rating should reflect it. Also, they don't seem to be able to handle the breakfast rush when the hotel is at capacity.

Entire hotel UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION. Stay away. They have failed to phase HEAVY drilling by separate areas of the building. Have already switched rooms to other side. No different.

A nice modern hotel with customer service orientated staff, and most importantly comfortable beds

The lobby was under construction when I took my family there. The staff seemed attentive and the hotel felt spacious and calm, it being labor day weekend.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Our room is very spacious as well. As an added bonus, our room can hit the Pokestop that is in the hotel!

We had our company Christmas party here. It was awesome and the food was really good. Deffinanty recommend for any event or reception. They really took care of us.

Great location right off the highway. Having HHonors status enabled me to get a room on the top floor with a beautiful view. The room was very spacious and clean. Would stay here again

Parking can be a little difficult, as some spaces are very far from the front door.

It was fine for the event. Just attended an informative session.

I attended a business conference at the hotel and it is undergoing a renovation. They are very open about the changes as there are signs apologizing for the mess and a statement of the renovation work hours. The place was clean, fully functional with nice staff. The lunch provided was good / average. Overall it was a positive experience and I'm sure it will be exceptional after the renovations.

This place was amazing. In Aurora for a week on business. Night before departure found this place. What a treat. Exactly what I was looking for on 5th night away from home on biz. Amazing service, great dinner, excellent music at an enjoyable but NOT loud volume. The Jackdaw the finest cocktail i can remember having that i didnt make in several years. Highly recommended! Ill be back! Love the Irish themed food and drink menu. Excellent. Should have taken a picture or two for this review!

Disappointed! Staff won't reprogram the key for my friend because the reservation was under my name, yet the same staff who checked us in (after I specifically asked if having two keys is OK or should I add my friends name) . Yet both staff won't try to call or verify. It's frustrating after driving 10 hrs that my friend had to drive to my family's home and get me to be able to get back into the room. I feel that all of a sudden the customer is the last person that matters. And although I complained to the manager she kept arguing that she could have just called but she wasn't asked to! . This experience is going to be my last with double tree. I am sure my business would be welcomed somewhere else with a smile.

The construction was noisy. Thank you Bill for taking such good care of me after having my bags lost at airport! Your constant concern for me did not go unnoticed!! YOU ARE THE BEST Bill!!! And thanks for always having fresh hot cookies for me!! I will be back to see you!

Great location. Free shuttle to airport. Great service and hospitality, particularly from Monica at the front desk. She really puts the guests comfort first.

Visited for AC and Pokemon. Seemed nice but to near my home to ever stay there.

Well, I've never stayed there, it only happened through hi because I always work at the Radisson

Was a lovely place to have a convention. Bathrooms were clean, lots of parking, clean rooms with comfortable seating.

Great Room services. Architecture was beautiful. Great location. Staff were nice. Great services was provided. Interior was beautiful. Great view. Food was delicious. Room was beautiful and clean.

Rooms were nice and the entire staff were friendly and helpful.

Houskeeping always kept up with your room everyday and the made sure we had new sheets and had new towels everyday

They are currently renovating the hotel The lobby looks awesome The front desk people are very nice The rooms are updated but the tub was nasty looking they forgot to update the tub . Beds are comfy and it is clean Good breakfast. Only one elevator was working which took for ever to go up and down from the 6th floor

Place is run down and not clean. Found blood on our sheets and the staff acted like this was a normal occurrence. They did refund our stay but offered nothing else in the way of compensation. Won't be staying there again..obviously.

Great staff, food, bar. I was there on Superbowl Sunday, there were a few grown men, drunk, playing/rough housing in the hall around 3:00 am. When the cops showed up they went to their rooms.

The location is very nice, it has a very big fancy restaurant and the workers there are very helpful . They always have a friendly smile and a warm cookie and very friendly manager. The rooms are always clean and very big. They make sure they always keep the rooms tidy and make sure they are to my standers.

I attended a gun safety class at Double Tree by Hilton on June 17. The hotel was immaculate & the staff at the front desk knew exactly where the function was taking place. If I was going to stay at a nice hotel I would definitely choose Double Tree by Hilton.

Great customer service and the best way to get some rest

The hotel was immaculate! The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was exactly what I expected and the decor was very nice. The breakfast was well worth it as well. Great place to stay, close to 225 and other places I needed to go.

Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We used the pool/spa and fitness center, both were also very clean. Breakfast was the best we had at any hotel offering free breakfast. Highly recommended!!
