The location of this hotel is right next to DC and within walking distance of a subway to access the rest of the nation's capital. The room I stayed in was perfectly comfortable with two chairs and beds, a television, etc, however, the bathroom was inadequate. The walls were so thin you could hear anything going on in the bathroom. The shower's stream was incredibly weak. The service of the hotel was just fine.
Easy access to downtown and a free shuttle to the Pentagon City Metro station. We walked back and at most it took 10 minutes in a well lit area. Nice rooms and parking on site (for a fee).
Terrible service! We booked our hotel 2 months in advance. We even checked in the day before on the Hilton Honors app and messaged them the day of our arrival that our plane was delayed. They gave our room away! We were stuck with no hotel room and 2 young children in the middle of the night. Shame on you! Terrible business! We are taking this compliant to the top. And to top it off the taxi drive told us this is a common practice for your hotel!
The hotel was attractive in appearance. Clean and smelled clean. The wifi was not consistent, but worked for the most part.
This is my first time staying at a double tree. For starters, the cookies are amazing! Our room is large, spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is in Arlington and there really isn't a lot to do around the hotel but the Metro is a short walk. I don't like that you have to pay for parking. I feel like there is plenty of space that you should be allowed to park for free, but I suppose not. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would probably stay here again if need be but would be more likely to check out Old Town in Alexandria next time.
Standard convenient hotel chain by Hilton nothing too fancy nor substandard. Quiet location that's not too occupied... Seems it's more geared towards conventions and events that happen in the nation's capital
Seems ok. But we need a blanket for our 3rd guest (we reserved a room for 3 adults) and 45 minutes later and 3 calls later, we re still waiting... :(
Great hotel with good service and a really nice weight room.
Double tree was amazing. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great. The view was amazing
Location is good if youb need to be close to Pentagon or Pentagon City. Rooms are a bit dated sand need to be updated.
Awesome place to stay. Great staff and a very clean and professional environment. Would definitely stay again!
I was a regular overnight guests but they made me feel like I was a Elite member. Rooms were very clean felt new, displays very elegant, and comfort was superb. I would recommend if in DC, it was like a 10 minutes ride.
We are staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Arlington VA- Crystal City. Very nice hotel, outstanding staff. Love the valet parking. Having fun in DC. The revolving restaurant on the roof is great, kids loved it and the pool. We'll be back!
Hotel has a nice gym. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Food is good.
Terrible Service. They say they are accepting reservation through hotwire. But their communication is terrible. I ended waiting 2 hours in the lobby and the reservation which was made 1 month in advance could not be retrieved.
Bottom line: There are major issues with the staff and processes at this hotel. Simply not professional. I will never get back that extra day of vacation we had planned and they don t seem to care. I will not return to any Hilton hotel.
Broken AC, rude staff, all they could do was offer a fan to help circulate the humid and hot air all night.
Awesome hotel with great amenities & their customer service was wonderful !
Rooms are ok, location is not the best if you don't have a car.
I was very disappointed in this stay as I've been a long time customer of the Hiltons brand whenever I book out to places. Ive stayed loyal due to the cleanliness and quality of their brands but this was a huge let down especially with the other experiences I had with multiple DOUBLE TREES. The room I was given for a 2 room suite was smaller than expected, carpets were very stained & looked like they havent been cleaned in a while, and bathroom and counters in the room had stains everywhere like it hasnt been wiped. Bathroom was most likely urine which made me wipe down everything with a towel. The sheets on the bed had stains on them as well which I would have figured would be bleached if washed and looked at correctly. I know the D.C area decriminalized weed but the hotel hallways on every floor just smelled strongly of it as if someone was smoking in rooms which I thought HILTONS had a no smoking policy. I did check in quite late about 12:30 am due to late departure and understand the hotel wouldnt staff much for early morning hours but I had to ring to the front desk multiple times because noone was picking up until 3 4 attempts. We ordered pizza at 1am and my friend went to the lobby to meet the delivery guy and grab the food and he ended up being trapped in the elevator with another customer for about 20 minutes and they said they pressed the help button multiple times with noone answering which made them call me so I can call to front desk which noone answer until the 3rd or 4th attempt. Normally as soon as I get into a room I check the bed/sheets and room and switch if its too dirty but I figure it was going to be a short stay to sleep so just dealt with it. Checking out in the morning was a bit of a pain too when trying to get out of the parking garage, I wasnt told to hang onto one of my key cards to scan when leaving so waited for about 5 minutes for the gate to open after I had to call the hotel lobby via cellphone for them to send someone which defeated the whole purpose of the help button on the parking lot machine for scanning. Only beneficial thing was the breakfast was pretty good with choices. The hotel staff seemed to not also know the packages that are available when booking as I purchased the parking & dining experience with my room and they kept saying I had to pay more at time of check in until they pulled up the details of my reservation to admit it was their mistake. This wasnt too pleasant of a stay but I will continue to stay loyal to the Hilton name as a hilton honors member since I rarely have trouble with them
Complimentary WiFi not free. This information was hidden and deceptive.
I had an amazing stay here! The hotel was not at all what we were expecting for the price and location. Hotel was amazingly clean, great room amenities, provides shuttle to and from the airport, walking distance from a few stores, easy access to the DC area and the staff was amazing! Everyone was so nice and helpful, food and drink service was great too. Thanks for making our stay memorable!
Nightmare parking lot. Ruined the experience. If you aren't bringing a car then this place is great. Suites are nice. Sofa bed is terrible. Pool is meh. Bar up top on roof is beautiful. I will never return with a vehicle.
The staff are very nice! The lobby and gym are well sized, no complaints about the overall cleanliness of the common areas. Had a few not clean places in our room, but we found a great deal on it, so definitely cannot complain. Gym is open 24 hours. Breakfast cost $20 at the hotel, you might be able to find a deal on a third party sight. There isn t a pool. Shuttle services from hotel aren t every 20 minutes, ended up being 45-60. So if you are in a rush shuttle won t be a great idea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very nice!
Great location it is in walking distance of the Pentagon.
Horrible front desk manager yvan Demin doesn't listen and have no customer service training hotel does not follow cancelation policy for any guess to feel welcome
Nice hotel, nicely furnished, clean, view and I got it for very nice money, near metro and downtown, I recommend.
The hotel was nice but during big events caused check-in times around 30 minutes
The airport shuttle is not every 20 minutes! The driver sees you standing with luggage and pull off to park or never extend the courtesy of where they are going or not. 20 mins.? No way!
This place is pretty nice. The Sky bar/lounge is fun at night.
Hotel overlooking the Pentagon. Unreal. Probably, everything is tapped and viewed, which means that the place is completely safe.
Ate at the restaurant. Had a cheesecake that was pretty good and a Jamaican coffee that was a little too strong.
Wonderful hotel with conveinant access to several key locations. The rooms and amenities are as expected. The gym is excellent and the staff is terrific.
Beautiful views! Staff were wonderful! Stop by to see Joseph he will be sure to set you up for a great DC visit and tour plan. Rooms were very reasonable. Great food
The room was very nice. The set up was a great design. The porch had a nice view.
Great hotel, should be rated as 4 stars. Location is good - close to airport and Pentagon city with free shuttles running every 30 minutes. The air con can get noisy at times but it is not a major detractor.
check-in went superbly. I'd forgotten my HH card, Noosh looked it right up, and gave me a cookie. room is very clean. web access is easy. thanks.
Beautiful hotel with a convenient location. The staff was friendly but overwhelmed due to two large conventions. I had issues with a luke-warm shower, the digital key not registering, and being charged for an included breakfast. I would give another star if not for three issues. That is a trend.
Clean room with plenty of space. Enjoyed my complimentary cookie upon check-in.
Very friendly staff and decent proximity to the subway . The Cleaning staff do a good job in keeping the rooms clean and supplied with hotel necessities. A tall security man directed us and was extremely helpful in showing us the monuments and buildings from the top floor. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the D.C. area.
Ok this is my 3rd time staying here and we have had awful service!! The first night there was an extremely loud girl talking and laughing loudly on her cell phone ,on speakerphone , in the hallway and in her room...we complained at the front desk cause it was around midnight and we couldn't sleep. The second night there was a meeting or something going on on the 14th floor and us being on the 12th floor and pretty far away from could hear blaring loud music going on where the bass was so loud it was rattling my walls in my room (mind you we werent on the same side or same floor ...it was Just THAT LOUD!!!) so,not the be the complaining people, we reluctantly went back to the front desk to complain...the response we got was simply "we can move you to another room"....really!?!?! We are hilton members and wete staying in the hilton honors section and that is the kind of treatment we get?!?!?!? We are regular travelers and pay a good amount to stay in hilton hotels almost weekly either for weekend travel or just a day trip and our treatment was less than appropriate for people who normally rave about the awesome staff and cleanliness of the hotels.....this has really upset my boyfriend and myself and will not be recommending this location anymore.
I know it's not the front clerks fault and they are just doing their job with offering another room but management should not be allowing a disco party in a hotel where people sleep on their hard earned weekends or vacations ....
My 4 stars just went to a 1
Very clean, spacious and comfortable! I'm really picky when it comes to living arrangements.
Just as expected, AWESOME!!! Very courteous staff. Christmas decor, BEAUTIFUL!!! Room very Inviting!!!
Not impressed. Overwelming maze of a frustrating overloaded parking lot. Very difficult to get from the room to the car and back.
Rooms are nice, but the hotel van doesn't have air conditioning. Not very nice on a 85 deg day.
Love this hotel was on 9 floor had a nice night with my girl there very clean
Great hotel! Love the Sky lounge rotating restaurant. Other than the noisy student tour groups, it was the perfect setting for a girls weekend! Very close to Reagan Airport and the National Mall!
Id stay away from this hotel. I have diamond status and never had an experience like this. The clerks are rude and uninformed. AC wasnt working well in one room. Rooms weren't clean and found this in the drawer of the nightstand.
I complained and the manager was trying to minimize my concerns and act as if everything was ok or will be handled internally.
Shuttle was hood but roads to get in and out were too narrow
Beautiful inside, free and fantastic cookies, great room. Asked for a microwave to heat up food, but it took a day's worth of time and three times asked to get it. Still, everything else was great.
Staff is always friendly and accommodating At the time of my stay, the parking garage was having key issues bit I was never inconvenienced by it as a staff member personally cam to let me out. Great location. Clean rooms. Maintained facilities. oh yeah, and the SkyDome Restaurant was pretty f---ing stellar!!!
The hotel is just your average DoubleTree. But employee Mahlet Deres who checked me in was so sweet and friendly that she made my stay unforgettable. I was having a really bad night, but her sweet personality made it impossible for me to stay upset. Thank you for turning my frown upside down.
Nice rooms and amenities. Parking is s kind of experience and wasn't told about it not being included in the price then we booked the room
Used Doubletree garage for long term parking while flying out of DCA. Great service!
Clean rooms. Free shuttle. Nice sitting area in lobby areas. Needs were comfortable. Bathroom was small. Wanted to try skydome but ended up taking shuttle to local place down the street. Reasonable rates. Usually as a honors guest they give us water. This place said we didnt have the level to get free water.
Ok hotel. Staff responsive but dingy carpets, chipped furniture. A bit rundown for my taste. Cookies were even stale.
The staff was polite. The rooms are a great size. But, our toilet didn't work properly for part of our stay, the sink & bathtub didn't drain properly, and the room keys didn't ever work to let us in or out of the garage. We had to pay for parking once to get out because the valet did pick up their phone to do it. The front desk doesn't do the refunds for that, so we have to wait for them to call a 3rd party parking company to refund the money.
Everyone was super friendly and helpful, the room was spotless (not to mention incredible! I thought it was just a room, but it was more like a full suite!), there's a convenient shuttle to the metro, and it was just all around a great experience!
I've stayed here so many times I'm staying this weekend and in February I'm throwing a huge party here in February I love this hotel.
Very nice hotel. Had a room with the view of the city. Recommended
Best hotel in town .... would recommend everyone with a family...loved the view outside from the window...
Parking garage on site. Red bike rental around corner. 4blocks from Mt Vernon Trail.
No customer service at all, staff is nowhere to be found and it does not look safe. This place is creepy, I can't believe this is the nation's capital. Parking is horrible, I can go on and on and we've just been here one hour.
The staff was kind and the facilities clean. Overall a pretty good experience.
Elected for room with view for $14 via email offer and was told room with view was $20 when I checked in. E-checked into one room but got another upon arrival.
Right across the street from whole foods. Had a suite w kitchen area, fridge/freezer and microwave. Well appointed. Can see DC from many rooms, monuments, waterfront, pretty views.....upstairs restaurant has a full panoramic view of DC. Modern, contemproary.....well located.
