Wasn't stating at the hotel, just visited a friend. DoubleTree hotels serve their guests warm cookies, and even though I wasn't staying with them, they gave me a cookie when I asked for one. My friend's room was nice, clean and modern, he enjoyed his stay.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Right by Nathan Phillips square and Yonge-Dundas square with easy access to public transit. Rooms were on the smaller side but still very nice and well upkept. Had a fantastic view of the financial district from my room. Bed was very comfortable as well.

It's great location. Very clese to St.patrick metro station and coach bus terminal to go to Niagara. And especially just 5~10min to cityhall by walk. So I can saw day and night of cityhall. So mant restaurants nearhere. Room is little bit small and old but another is perfect!

You get a yummy choco chip cookie upon check-in to top off great customer service. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is great and they make accomodations for dietary restrictions.

it was ok, no place to park to check in, the room was small, the hotel is located across from a low income apartment building so the view from our window was nothing special. The room and the lobby was clean. If you are going to stay there park across the street at 89 Chestnut is $10 cheaper per night.

Wonderful customer service; Jessica was very helpful. Great suites with lots of room. Great spots downtown surrounded by restaurants, clubs and hot spots. I would definitely return again.

Staff is very friendly and the hotel is easy to find the perfect location if you are going to the Children's Hospital. Only a couple blocks walk to the hospital with parking right in between the hotel and hospital. Rooms are very nice and clean, which is a must for me anyway but especially important during covid. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay downtown at a good price.

Great rooms, very clean, and amazing service. We were greeted with a warm walnut chocolate chip cookie on check-in. Beds were comfortable, wifi was free, and we got late check out for a minimal fee. We stayed on an hhonors floor and if you get high enough the view is great too.

Good rooms and facilities are no wonder in hotels of this class and do not have to be rated separately.
The front desk was a bit rude and had absolutely no understanding of speaking a little slower English if you didn't understand something.

The underground car park from the hotel costs 35 $ exactly opposite is an underground car park for 25 $ for 24 hours, which of course they don't say at the front desk.

Stayed a single night in one of the rooms with the king bed. Everything was very clean and tidy. Really good location, close to restaurants and minutes walk from the Eaton Centre. The cookie upon check in was also tasty. Would definitely stay again.

Got there way before check in and the front desk was very kind to get my room ready in an hour. And then I just upgraded myself, after checkin and they gave me the room I wanted. Very nice and professional. Will stay there again... Thank you for making my 1st visit awesome.

I worked there so i got to see the truth of this hotel : old hotel that was owned by a Chinese owner. The Hilton bought it and painted over it and call it high end hotel. Overpriced rooms in a nasty building

Samantha the front desk manager was less than cordial checking us in. I paid for hotel parking, was told it was full and was asked to park 3 miles away and walk back to the hotel.
For those with severe allergies or MCAS, The hotel does not have hypoallergenic rooms. They spray every room with Febreze to cover up any smells. I was surprised to find no valets at the hotel since there is no street parking. In my humble opinion 3 stars may more accurately represent this hotel.

One of the worst stays I've ever had in a hotel. EVER due to staff. Views were nice at night. Booked during an unexpected Toronto Raptors celebration for my own personal travel. My room was so dusty, I started sneezing and coughing. I wiped it down myself when they told me they didn't have any rooms available or cleaning staff on site. When I went down to the front desk the next day, I was accused of getting the dirt from outside. The guest services agent then told me he'd be happy to check me out if I didn't like the hotel. I was appalled. I called my booking agent after the cleaning staff came to console me. There was nothing to do as I was told the manager was friends with the agent I had issues with. So, here's my review for those who may be interested. Truly too bad because aspects were quite good. Too many of the staff from the front desk and even in the restaurant just seemed bothered by people being there. Take it or leave it.... kind of fitting to the experience offered by the Double Tree. And for the reply by Umesh down below this was the manager name that the rude employee gave me to "file" complaint, and I was advised by the young lady at check out that they were friends. So your reply doesn't really mean that I or my experience is going to be rectified in any manner. Hoping someone with the power to truly address or rectify the experience steps in. Terrible experience and such a general apology put out by so many companies to show that it was "addressed". It has not been addressed/ updated as of 08/29/2019.
