One of the worst stays I've ever had in a hotel. EVER due to staff. Views were nice at night. Booked during an unexpected Toronto Raptors celebration for my own personal travel. My room was so dusty, I started sneezing and coughing. I wiped it down myself when they told me they didn't have any rooms available or cleaning staff on site. When I went down to the front desk the next day, I was accused of getting the dirt from outside. The guest services agent then told me he'd be happy to check me out if I didn't like the hotel. I was appalled. I called my booking agent after the cleaning staff came to console me. There was nothing to do as I was told the manager was friends with the agent I had issues with. So, here's my review for those who may be interested. Truly too bad because aspects were quite good. Too many of the staff from the front desk and even in the restaurant just seemed bothered by people being there. Take it or leave it.... kind of fitting to the experience offered by the Double Tree. And for the reply by Umesh down below this was the manager name that the rude employee gave me to "file" complaint, and I was advised by the young lady at check out that they were friends. So your reply doesn't really mean that I or my experience is going to be rectified in any manner. Hoping someone with the power to truly address or rectify the experience steps in. Terrible experience and such a general apology put out by so many companies to show that it was "addressed". It has not been addressed/ updated as of 08/29/2019.
