If you're looking for a new car and don't want all of the hassle of dealing with the process - then go to McDavid Honda in Frisco,Texas. They're right on 121/Tollway or I guess it is at DNT/Rayburn.
I was welcomed warmly (they weren't in my face) and offered a beverage. My salesman, Steve Oakes offered to show me every vehicle I was interested in - which was three. I didn't know much about Hondas, so we test drove a Civic, an Accord and a CR-V. It took some time to tour each of the three vehicles, but shopping for a car is fun (obviously) and Steve took his time to describe the differences and features of all three cars. No pressure at all.
I was shown each of the features from each vehicle and then selected the Accord which is a wonderful sedan. I received a fair offer on my trade in - and got a great lease deal on the car for my daughter. Although they were busy at the end of the month, the purchase went smoothly and everyone I met from the managers (Sonia, Rob, a few others) to Tammy in the finance dept were friendly and were cognizant of my time and worked quickly to get me in and out. (even made popcorn for their guests!).
If you're looking for a new car (even used); go drive a Honda at McDavid. Even if you don't buy; they'll be happy to show you all about the cars. They're like a family - I'll definitely go back.

Odd review - I ended up unable to purchase a car with McDavid due to some emergency expenses, but wanted to complete a review due to my great experience with Chris Cosby and Ron. This was by far the worst service visit I've ever had to your location. I made an appointment online just as I've been doing for a couple of years since I purchased my CRV from your dealership.
I got there at 8:50 AM or so for my 9AM appointment on Saturday only to be immediately told it would be a 2 hour wait before they could start on my inspection. That was after they knew I had an appointment. Cue a long story about how an appointment isn't really an appointment because the "computer doesn't know" how many people its scheduling. Okay, never has this happened before when I've had an appointment. So, of course I was like, no I have an appointment...blah blah. So they guy said they'd try to get my inspection done quickly.
So about 45 minutes later, a guy calls me - I'm sitting in the waiting room within site of his desk - and says my car is ready. I was like, I'm in the waiting room and his response was - get this - "I don't know what you look like and I'm not going to walk over there so I'm calling you" Are you effing kidding me!? So I walked over to where I could see him waving his arms and he says he made a "special effort" to get my car done quickly which I should appreciate because of how busy they are.
At this point I didn't say anything. This was a different guy from the one who checked me in. This guy, though had a HUGE attitude with me, like I owed him special thanks for getting my car done WHEN I HAD AN APPOINTMENT!!!! Terrible. Absolutely terrible.

services that are not necessary and when the maintenance minder did not showed it to be necessary were sold as if they are in need to be done immediately. later it was discovered that doing those service could have possible negative impact if done when not required.

Well I will say they are very nice people ,but they will trick you to buy ! This is my experience I Went to buy a Honda Odyssey they told me that besides the full cover Insurance that I need to put on the vehicle they need to put on the vehicle another insurance that will cover anything that will happen to the vehicle no cost to pay from my pocket bumper to bumper that they will add $ 3000 more on top of the price and to wait a few months and I can trade it for something newer or refinance it to lower the payment! lights came on on my dashboard and ac started to have problems, I took it back and realized that the $3000 dollar insurance did not cover nothing that the repair and parts will have to come from my pocket so I decided to drop the $3000 insurance and they told me that they will drop it but it take about 3 to 6 months to be dropped ! so y still had to pay the insurance that did not cover nothing just simple parts! Then I decided to refinance and they tell me the vehicle is older vehicle that no bank will refinance !! So I decided to trade it and it was basically giving my Honda for free to them and paying what I old on the vehicle plus the newer vehicle! Like a said really nice people but the will kill you with the deal they will make it sound good but they will trick you to buy a car! Be careful!!

We highly recommend David McDavid Honda. They were very friendly and helped me to know what to expect before I even arrived at the dealership. I filled out a form online for someone to contact me about the Odyssey I was interested in. Once we agreed on a price and all the details, they had the vehicle I chose detailed and gassed up ready to go home by the time we finished the paperwork. We got a really good interest rate too for a used vehicle. All in all, we will be sending everyone we know to them and we look forward to using them ourselves in the future.

Was OK. Had to wait close to 4hrs as opposed to the said 2 hrs for the servicing of my car. which was the main pain point.The main issue,something not working properly in my car, that I went for to the dealership was not resolved and since this is a new car that was purchased this dealership, and having to encounter this kind of made me concerned and unhappy. Apart from that no other issues.

I have a terrible experience with Camden Chumbley, Gina Neely and now one of the Sales Managers (Michael Baker) is not responding. They were supposed to install a handsfree rear hatch opener for $500. After 2 weeks of no communication I contacted Camden who kept running me around after he said (in an email) that they would put that $500 toward the loan if I wanted. I said yes and it has still yet to be done, several weeks later. Now no one will respond to me.

I've been taking my car to David McDavid Honda of Frisco since I moved to Frisco in 2015. I come in for everything...oil changes, new tires, state inspection, or just to get my tire pressure checked....you name it, I bring my car here. They are always fast, super friendly and treat me with respect. I love how I can drop my car off and receive text messages asking me if I would like certain items taken care of while they have it (with the price included in the text message). Early this week I noticed that my spare tire was flat and that my bag of lug-nuts and lug key was missing out of my trunk. I made an appointment on-line and showed up this morning. I was immediately greeted, and my service advisor was at my car within minutes. He pulled my spare out, aired it up, had another guy check the pressure in my other tires and they replaced my lug-nuts, bag and key, just like that! I got a smile, a handshake, and a "Enjoy your summer!" I absolutely love the service team at this dealership!
Even though I have had my eye on the new Acura's, next year I am planning on buying another Honda, because I am sold on the service team at David McDavid Honda! I hope the sales team treats me right so that I can stay at this dealership!

The good: I like the car we got, it was a great price and in good condition (we bought a used 2013 Honda Pilot EX-L).
The bad: Found the car online, and part of the description specifically noted that the vehicle came with a 100K mile warranty (just engine/powertrain). When we arrived, we noticed the used car sales team consisted almost entirely of non-native english speakers. This would normally be fine but communicating was so hard at times for the smaller details (such as the warranty the website mentioned) that it seems they employ these people on purpose so they can play dumb. It took quite a while of waiting around for things to get done, and whilst waiting, another family arrived and sat down at a table. It turns out this family was there for the same car we were and had called the same salesman we were dealing with. Well we were already in the process of getting the paperwork so the car was ours. Our salesman had the audacity to actually announce to the other family that we were the ones that got the car they wanted, pointing at us. We were humiliated and felt terrible, but most of all, we were severely shocked by the lack of professionalism.
I've contacted support for the warranty, and they said it only counts for cars with less than 60k miles, which my car wasn't, but I fail to see why they can't give a warranty for the difference (160k minus car miles) but it isn't worth the trouble.
Overall, I would highly recommend Carvana or something similar over this facility. My experience with Carvana was much better, faster, and hassle-free.
UPDATE: Just to extrapolate the communication problem, I literally asked the sales rep (Masud) when we were buying the car if the passenger airbag inflator had been replaced. I knew these were a problem, and were literally life-threatening. Masud ensured us that they "cannot sell a car with open recalls". Well apparently Masud doesn't know what he's talking about, because they did. We were called three weeks after buying the vehicle (and driving around with my pregnant wife in the passenger seat) and told that there was an outstanding recall that needed immediate attention. They tried to play it off like it was new, but I knew and asked when buying the car. Very shady practices here, I definitely do not recommend. Avoid like the plague.
I'm removing a star due to this update, but I wish I could give zero stars. Please use Carvana, they're a million times better, easier to deal with, and they will ship your plates to you, unlike McDavid, who makes you come all the way back just to pick them up. They don't care about the customer, just about moving product.

Only complaint. I knew my catalytic converter was going bad so asked for a quote. They quoted me 3 hours of labor. There are 6 total bolts to take take off and then put on again. No clue how they think that should take 3 hours

I'd been driving a 1991 Acura Legend since junior year of college--I took that little car from coast to coast several times. The A/C was starting to give out, the oil leaked, but it was still kicking. Two weeks ago I wrecked it in a snarl of downtown Dallas traffic. Since I just started a new job and needed a reliable commuter vehicle, buying a new car seemed like the right option--but, as it was the first time I'd ever bought a car, I felt anxious that I hadn't had time to do all the research I normally would do before a substantial purchase like this.
My dad knew an old colleague of his, Mike Baker, worked as the Assistant Manager at David McDavid Honda, so we went over for a look-see. Mike was so personable, professional, and gave us a great deal on a 2013 Honda Civic LX. Mike had to duck out to help another customer, so sales consultant Mark Ladd outlined the new Civic's specs and gave me a tour of the new inventory. Mark's a chatterbox with a smooth Georgia accent, so driving around the lot I felt like I was out for a Sunday stroll instead of car shopping in the Texas heat. McDavid was out of white Civic LXs so they gave me a loaner to drive, free of charge, while I waited for a new shipment. It was originally going to take a week to come in, but two days later Mark phoned me that the car had arrived.
When it came time to negotiate financing, Mike had the night off so Kenneth Jones stepped in. This was the only part of the Honda experience I didn't enjoy; KJ was very nice and reassuring, but I sat in that office with my dad for nearly three hours trying to get the price I'd originally been promised. I ended up with a lower interest rate and a great coverage plan in the end, though, so I can't complain too much. I love my new car; it's a vast improvement over the 20+ year old Acura (though I will miss the V6 engine, sigh...) very comfortable, streamlined, and the perfect machine to get me safely to and from my new job in style. Great job, Mike and Mark!

I just recently had an amazing service experience. My car would not start the day before Thanksgiving and I needed to call a tow truck to bring my vehicle to David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Without being able to speak to someone until Friday, I had some nerves about what might be going on with my car and when I would get it back. Chris Kite took great care of me by providing me status updates. In the end, there was nothing we could find wrong and I pulled away not owing a dime. Based on this experience there is a high level of trust that they are only going to recommend service to me that I truly need. Thank you Chris and David McDavid Honda!

From the minute I walked in to look at the Odyssey's I felt I was listened to and didn't feel like I was being haggled or pressured. Jeremy Pulliam was an excellent sales person: courteous, knowledgeable and really patient!! The manager Michael also was very conscientious of my price point and worked with me in a manner than made me feel like he was really willing to work with me to make my new Odyssey experience possible. I was very pleased with the car buying experience!!!!

NEVER SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. NEVER. STAY AWAY. STAY AWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYY. They lie to you.. tell you your ineligible for a recall that's actually a service warranty (entirely different things) and turns out you are eligible for that warranty. Then they'll charge you $3000 and not even make all of the repairs you paid for! When I got a flat tire the next week my car battery died due to the battery terminal corrosion. The car battery literally died from 20 minutes of running the hazards... seriously? So I was stranded in the middle of the night and had to pay roadside assistance to bail me out because they failed to fix that. They also failed to reinstall my wiper blades properly. On top of that they failed to put freon back in so guess what also quit working? That's right my AC! In Texas? Commme on! So what's leading me to believe they actually replaced those spark plugs that got soaked in coolant?? I'd say it was this awesome manager of theirs I keep reading about. He never returned my voicemail. So he's that great of a manager that he ignores his customers who are receiving terrible service. PUH! Hm and the non-stop vibrating aka rough idle sure is NOT a good sign... But HEY let me tell you something they didn't fail to do! Swipe the credit card. Boom. Do NOT get any work done here. The service reps are TERRIBLE.. uneducated... slightly illiterate.. and manipulative liars. NEVER SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. NEVER EVER EVER DO IT. STAY AWAY.

I brought in my vehicle for service, just asked the guy to check the leak in the power steering section, they gave me an estimate that i didnt wanted to spend at that time so i asked them to get my service donei was charged for that service, but when i picked up my vehicle, it was not delivered to me like it is mormally, it was parked in the parking and the guy who took payment pointed out there is your car and left, and i found out after 3 months that there was no oil chaned no filter changed and my check engine light flashed, please dont go to these theives...

I always get the best service from David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Last week I lost a gold ring in the Van and I was not able to remove it from the seat between the console. I thought I lost it for ever. I gave the van to Kelvin Jones at Honda Mcdavid Frisco. He was able to remove the seats and find the ring under the carpet and seat frame. He is such an honest man we can trust your car. I am so happy to see Kelvin at the service center. Such a gentle man to deal with. The sales people work to get the prices to match other Honda dealers but the managers wouldnt budge, I guess because they were not on the floor doing the work so it wasnt a big loss for them. Their out the door price was 2k more than Honda Auto Nation of Lewisville for the exact same vehicle minus a $120 cargo trey. So I bought my vehicle from Autonation and am very happy.
I always take my car here and the people here are really nice, Charles Hart has an amazing customer service skill with a friendly personality.
Terrific customer service and so fast! I was able to drop my car off before work for an oil change and then picked it up at lunch. I work in Frisco, TX anyway and Manny is amazing! Monica was so friendly and she had a charming smile on her face in the early am...and in the pm too! Thank you for providing a much needed business. :)
