I feel obligated to rave about Keith Hutchins of Crown Honda of Southpoint. He was the perfect combination of knowledgeable about this 2012 Subaru Impreza, and sales-person without being pushy or overbearing. From the moment I walked in he made me feel at home, and never pushed me towards any other vehicle that I did not want. I would highly recommend him, and this dealership if you are in the market for a new/used vehicle.

I was visiting the area when my tire pressure light went on, and we had a long drive home later that day. We showed up at the service department with no appointment. A technician named Gerald came to greet us and could not have been nicer. He not only checked all the (badly under inflated) tires but gave us a complimentary car wash. If I lived in the are I d definitely buy my next CRV from them! exceptional service!

I purchased a vehicle from Crown Honda of Southpoint recently and had a great experience. I stopped there prior to going to another lot where I had already decided on a vehicle. The sales person (Dan), sales manager (Tony), and finance manager (James), heard what I was looking for in my purchase and did everything within their power to meet my requests. I left with a new (used) vehicle and am very happy with the entire transaction! I will definitely recommend this dealership to others.

We had a great experience working with Michael Allan with the purchase of our new CRV (Costco pricing). Can't recommend him high enough.

The reason for my "fair" rating? We wanted to put the title of the car in the name of our estate (per our lawyer's advice) and were told that in order to title the car this way, we had to pay cash for the car. If we wanted to finance the car (which we planned to do because we got a better price), we had to put the title in our names. So we financed the car and put the title in our names. Now we will have to go DMV to change the title. Quite unnecessary and annoying.

Spoke with Phillip, a salesman, over the phone. EXTREMELY rude. I understand I was cutting him off, but his attitude and general mannerisms truly brushed me the wrong way. There is ABSOLUTELY no need to be that rude. I've been in sales for 7 years. For a salesman to talk to me the way he did, you're better off taking your business elsewhere. Go find a dealership that trains their salesman to properly speak over the phone without giving you an attitude.

I purchased an accord from Crown in Greensboro, but this is the closest service department to my home, and by close I mean 1hr away. I purchased th service coupons with the purchase of my car, so it would be stupid for me to go anywhere else when I have already paid for these services.

Every time I come here it takes 4-6 hours. When I asked for a solution to how to avoid it, making an appointment does not help, I was told not to come at 9am, to come when they first open at 630 am or late at night (they have hours up to 11pm).

If they really cared about Customer Service, they would find a solution to this problem, obviously from reading other reviews I am not the only complainer.

And no Joe (Service manager)I don't want your generic apology response. I just want to get my oil changed in a reasonable time frame.

They take too many cars for servicing and having an appointment does not work as you expect. other than that service is OK, i just went for Oil change and haven't prepared for 2:30 hrs wait time just to get the oil change done even after taking appointment.

I had the privilege last evening to have as my service coordinator, Frank Rees. It happened to be a routine oil change, with inspection and tire rotation. I'm pretty easy going and try not to get excited about long waits etc.
Frank, seemed to be aware of my unasked questions and explained that he would explain everything and do only what's needed and have the job done right in a timely manner. And that's exactly what happened, he even texted me before I got settled to read a book and told me to text him with any questions or concerns as I waited. Well if that doesnt take all the anxiety out of waiting and wondering when your car will be done.
He was as personable as he is professional and he made my visit bearable and interesting, very nice gentleman.
I will not hesitate to ask for Frank Rees next time I'm back to Crown Honda for service, you should too. You'll thank me, I'm sure...

We got a used 2003 Toyota Camry from this dealer. Since we were getting a used car, we wanted to get it from a big dealer such as Crown, since we did not want to spend anything for the car after we got it. However, the car has "central locking" issue and eventhough the sales manager knew this, was not upfront about this issue until we signed the contract and was getting ready to bring the car home. Incidentally, the central locking in the car works first thing in the morning and when we took it for a test drive, it worked. I felt the dealership should have been upfront about this issue. Hence, in future I don't think I will ever purchase a used car from them.

Came in for an oil change and safety inspection on car with around 40K miles. Was recommended an additional $400 worth in repairs not recommended by my repair schedule. Basic googling of these services showed that most were unneeded upsells.

Your service is great, but this behavior reminds me of Pep Boys. I need to be able to trust my car repairman, and recommending big repairs on a 40K that runs perfectly? Felt dirty.

My advisor was Ms.Kristen an older lady who at first was very sweet but she did not handle my boyfriend and I professionally at all! I was so annoyed because she kept saying she didn t call us back because she was handling customers as if we were not customers! And we asked to speak with her supervisor Daniel McGreal and he would not come speak with us. It was very unprofessional and I feel like they didn t want to continue with us because of credit issues but they didn t tell us that they continued to ignore us until we had to go back up there to verify what was going on.

Worst oil change experience ever. I made an appointment for 11:45 am and it is 2:45 pm, believed or not I am still here. I was told it would be about about an hour or not more than one and a half hour. Save yourself trouble and try another place who care about their customers. I have been to many dealerships and this is a terrible way to treat your customers. I was just reading about another customer that had the same experience over a year ago, which it means they have not improve their service. If you have to wait over 3 hours for an oil change with an appointment, I really feel sorry for those without an appointment. I spoke to the shop manager Tony and I hope they really will improve their service. This was my first and last time at this location.

I actually found the car online, called ahead to get some more specifics about the car not described online, and Cannon Forrest had answers for me within an hour. I went that afternoon and test drove the car-- Cannon was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I really appreciated his laid back approach. I've been very happy with my car!

Paid for paint protection and now im being told that it does not cover paint chips after i was told that it did while they were trying to sale me the car. They offered to have them fixed for 25 a chip. Very disappointed that I spent 100s of dollars on something that only covers damage from such things as bird droppings. I know now not to fall for that again. What a shame to mislead people.

I brought my car in to have the airbag recall fixed. I have to be honest...I had a horrible experience the last time I came here in 2013, and I was hesitant to come back. I called a few weeks ago and was told to leave a voicemail for the service department for an estimate on how long the airbag replacement would take, and no one ever bothered to return my call. I'm getting ready to sell my car, so I decided to just try your dealership one last time. I worked with Gerald Butler the other day, and I really appreciate all of his help. When I had called a few weeks ago, the person on the phone told me that airbag replacements take about 3-4 hours and that the dealership does not provide loaner cars. They did offer to shuttle me home, though. When I got there on Saturday morning, Gerald told me that the airbag guy was on site, and that it should be able to be fixed within an hour. True to his word, the car was ready in about 45 minutes. He also had my car washed for me. You are truly lucky to have Gerald on your staff. His great customer service and friendly personality are the only reason I would ever come back to your dealership. I wish my voicemail had gotten to him the other week, because I'm confident that he would have returned my call. Thank you so much, Gerald. I wish everyone on staff there was like you.

I have been a customer of Crown Honda for the past nine years and recently traded in my 2004
Civic Hybrid for a new Honda CRV. The sales representative, Daniel McGreal, was very attentive
and professional and took a great amount of time explaining the features of the new models. I was
able to test drive a number of cars to see how each responded on both the interstate and highway.
He was very good at answering all of my questions and negotiated for a good trade-in for my Civic.
I would highly recommend Daniel as someone at Crown Honda who is fair, looks after
the customer, and is very approachable.

I would also like to mention Joel Padron in the service department as someone that I would highly
recommend. He has been a big help in the nine years that I have brought my car in for regular
servicing including the replacement of the electric battery. I have had a very good experience with
Crown Honda.

This is the worst service experience ever in the p...

This is the worst service experience ever in the past 15 years I had been living in this country. Dropped off my car for a manufacturer safety recall at 11:30AM and I was told that my car will be ready in 5 hours. Called them at 6:30PM (7 hours later) and was told that the car will be ready in a couple of hours. Received a call at 9:00PM that the car is ready for pick up. When we went to the dealership to pick the car up, the service personnel didn't even have the basic courtesy to greet the customer. The only word we got from the front desk person was a rude "YES". Someone got the information from us and went to bring the car upfront. To our shock, the person brought somebody else's car to us. When I told him that that was not my car, he went back inside, brought the keys to my car and just told us where the car is and asked us to go and pick it up ourselves. Didn't even offer an apology for the confusion. At this time I was already fuming with anger and disappointment in the way I was treated thus far. The worst thing happened after we reached home. As soon as we came back home, I got a call from another service personnel informing us that our Odyssey will be ready in 10 minutes for pick up. My car is an Accord, not an Odyssey. I am completely baffled by the total lack of professionalism and the worst carelessness with customer's cars. The person who called got an earful from me and hung up as quick as he could.
Despite my colleague's warning that this is not the best dealership around, I still went there since it was closer to our home. This service department must be run and managed by the MOST INCOMPETENT people in the world. This will be the last time I am going here for anything and I will make sure that I will spread this word around.

This was the first time I made an appointment for an oil change thinking that it would shorten the service time. When I arrived and signed in, I was told it would take 3 hours. By the time I received the car back, it was after 5 hours. An oil change taking 5 hours is ridiculous!! What is the purpose of making an appointment if it means nothing as far as the actual service time?

I am very impressed with their service department. It is well run and staffed with caring, knowledgable and efficient people. I had the good fortune to deal with Joe Defrancesco who is tops in my book. Their shuttle service is excellent, the waiting room is pleasant with TVs, current newspapers, beverages, Customers are kept updated on progress of repairs etc. As someone who has had some unpleasant experiences at other repair places, I highly recommend Crown Honda.

Service Dept is awful! I was scheduled for a simple oil change and inspection. Almost 2 hours later, I get up to see how much longer it will be, only to find out they had not even started on my vehicle. What is the point of having an appointment? My serviceman s response, It usually takes about 3 hours for an oil change. Seriously??!!! No it doesn t. I usually take my car to Scott Clark Honda in Charlotte and its never taken that long. I had him pull my car out and I left with no service.

Perhaps the most disorganized and poorly run dealership I ve ever dealt with. Service not performed as requested and invoiced. Cannot reach anyone but the receptionist by phone and her phone system would not allow her to transfer my call. All other contacts went directly to voice mail. I was charged for a state inspection but it was not done and I as not informed so my registration expired. I will never deal with this dealer again and would never recommend them

I had an appointment for 9:45am. When I drove into the service center it took 10 min for anyone to acknowledge that I was there. When they finally did begin to help me, it was after they had helped people who had arrived several minutes after me. They told me that the service would take a little over 3 hours. I waited 5 hours. I saw my car being moved out of the maintenance bay, they told me they were going to grab it for me. I waited another 30 minutes before I wandered out into their back lot to look for my car. It was just sitting there and it was pretty dirty from being in the shop. I asked for the keys and left without them doing the car wash because I knew it would take them forever. I also had to remove the various tapes they used myself. In total it was almost 6 hours and it probably would have been 7 if I had waited for them to wash the car and remove the tape.

As usual, Joe DeFrancesco was wonderful. He noted all of my concerns and all were taken care of. However, there remains one problem that has been ongoing for over a year. Joe and I discussed it and he made note of it so the crew in service could try and determine the cause. They were not able to in spite of their best efforts. So, now the recommendation is that I need to leave the van overnight so that the service folks might be able to diagnose exactly what the problem is and then finally be able to do something to correct it. When I asked Joe if the dealership had loaners for people in such instances he said no, unfortunately. My situation is compounded by the fact that my wife is going through treatment for cancer at the Duke Cancer Clinic so my daiuly schedule is not very flexible. I will try to arrange with a friend or family member to see if I can borrow their car but that will also depend upon their needs as well. So that is how matters stand right now. It certainly would be extremely helpful if Crown had loaners.

Aftermarket warranty repairs of my 2009 civic were done very professionally . Despite some confusion from the parts department, my service advisor, Eric, was spot on reliable from start to finish. Sometimes it's not what you do but HOW you do something that makes all the difference. Eric did that for Crown. He kept his word and communication open. A 5 star treatment is why I'll be back !!

I've been going here for almost 6 years; the entire lifetime of my car. I've never been pressured to have services performed that I don't need. I've never had a time where I needed just an oil change and gotten a phone call where "you need x too!"

They quoted me to perform a service where I thought I could do it cheaper once. I went to Advance Auto Parts to buy the parts to do it myself. Turns out I wasted my time. The parts alone from the store were more than they quoted to do it for me.

He helped us through the stressful process of finding the right car. When difficulties with financing came up, he was patient and helpful.

When I called the service department to inquire about the price on an A/C service for my older Honda Odyssey, I was transferred to to a service advisor. Once I explained what I was interested in and asked for a quote, the advisor refused to answer me and hung up. Granted this wasn't going to be a big money maker for them, but the basic lack of customer courtesy was deplorable.

Horrible experience. My 98 Honda Accord would not start at times. It had to do something with the key security. When you turn the ignition if green light did not come on, it didn"t start. They charged around $170 for diagnostics and stated the reason as bad distributor. After I spend around $300 for replacing the distributor with a mechanic friend, the problem remained. The mechanic thinks it is a bad immobilizer. Sales manager sent me a text to review their service. After sending review and another text, there was no response from the sales manager. In short I spent close to $500 for nothing. Stay away from this dealership.

I had a coupon for oil change and car wash plus vacuum. My appointment was for 12:15 pm I showed up at 12:00pm the service department agent said it take about 2hrs. Three hours later I call to check on the service it took three calls until someone check on the status. The agent said the are short staff and I will to wait up to 5pm if want my car detailed I ask just to wash and vacuum the car. At about 4:00pm I walked in and ask the service manager and he said that the car been washed and the are working on the oil change. Total miscommunication no information to customer. Finally my car was ready at 4:15pm 4 and 1/2 hours later. No apologies no sorry.

My mother was looking to buy a 2013 Honda Civic and was given a quote by a competitor at $17500. The sales man at Crown (Mr. Park) said Crown would beat the price by $100 and give a $500 credit to the service dept. Two days later Mr. Park informed her that the price was now $18300. When my mother called in to find out where the $800 jump in price came from Mr. Park said that $17500 was below invoice and that she must have forged the quote given by the competitor. RULE #1 NEVER ACCUSE THE CUSTOMER OF ANYTHING!!! We will not be doing business with Crown.

I got the NC inspection at at an incredible price ...

I got the NC inspection at at an incredible price of $13+ . On top of it I asked them to check my air pressures which they took care of. They even gave me a ride to work. And when I am picking up the car, I asked them if the car is washed , they did a quick wash while I was settling my bill. Very satisfied...

I had a couple of issues with my two Honda cars. One Car key is broken and another car passenger mirror is broken. They took care of these things professionally and gave me a good price by reusing some of the existing parts. Kelly the service support specialist was awesome. She understood things and helped me get the best service at best price.

My last visit Tim Stoneking came to my car when I pulled in. He gave outstanding service. I was very pleased and very thankful. I wasn't sure what I would find in a big city Honda dealership, but Crown exceeded my expectations.

I went to change the airbag as it was recalled. I greatly appreciate them sending mails to remind me of the recall. The service was excellent, no issues with the repairing. When I asked for the oil change, their price was about $50, while I normally do $30 oil change. So I declined.
The lounge area was good, I managed to get some work done there while I waited. It took about 2 hours.

It's sad when a business gets too big to take care of their customers. I went by Southpoint Crown Honda earlier today to get a State Inspection. The guy said they were busy and it would be best to make an appointment and come back. I made my appointment for 6:30 pm, arrived a little after 6 pm. No one comes to check me in so I have to go to a service person who then sends me to another service person to check me in. Before I can tell him what I needed, he says "there's a two hour wait". I kindly tell him that I have an appointment at 6:30. He promptly said "It's still a wait but I'll go check". The service representative came back and said the wait was now THREE HOURS regardless of whether you have an appointment! What! Why make an appointment? Why not call, text, email me to reschedule? I got my keys and left. I went to Jiffy Lube and they completed the State Inspection in less than twenty minutes.

We have tried to get in touch with the finance department for over a week, calling almost everyday to ask questions about our lease. I guess customer service goes out the window once a vehicle is purchased. No need to respond to this review, just would like your staff to call people back.
