I had a horrible experience a few years ago here. I thought I would give it another try as I was searching for a specific vehicle that they happened to have and they haven't changed at all. That is further supported by the multiple other negative reviews seen on here. Even if it appear lower in price it's bait and switch tactics and will likely leave paying more than somewhere else. Obviously management cares nothing for the customer and do not recommend going here. Also, no business should ever require a 5 star review to complete a deal that actually cares about feedback, we would get fired at my job to even mention that.

DO NOT BUY or deal with this dealership.! Wife and I were in the market for a 2019 Z06 Corvette. We gave the dealership our maximum down payment amount and they took 3 days to just sit on the deal. I was texted this morning from one of the finance persons saying we were approved for 85000 but (of course) they wanted to nickel and dime us for more money down.

After inquiring about a base Stingray instead, they refused to answer our phone calls. After speaking with another dealership and they said we could acquire the GM approval letter and do another deal from the approval. After getting one of the sales people to FINALLY walk over to the finance department and request the approval letter they flatly refused saying it was "dealership policy". I finally squeezed out of the salesman saying they "needed" another 10 to 15 THOUSAND on top of the approval from GM and Ally!

These people are vultures. I've already lobbied a formal complaint with GM Financial and Chevrolet. As a 4 time owner of GM vehicles I will never step inside this dealership nor give them a second more of my time.

I had a fantastic positive experience with Courtesy Chevy recently. I purchased a 2013 Sonic. Professionals there were upbeat, informed and VERY courteous. The quality of the Sonic excels far above every other small car of Chevy's past and above similar models I have driven from other companies. I had a problem at one point and two sales director and my saleswoman addressed it IMMEDIATELY. A special shout-out to my sales person Lawraleen Adewaummi (she's from Hawaii!). She was knowledgeable, fun and, amazingly, went back at forth from the dealership to my home 6 times (my previous car had been totaled) to allow me to complete the deal. Special shout-outs also to my sales directors Steve Rimer and Barry Baumann and my finance manager Martha Keith. Courtesy is my dealership for life!!!

Went to this dealer because they advertised a car at a specific price. My husband even called to verify price and that the car was available. When we got there they had added thousands to the price. After going back and forth several times we settled just above the advertised price. We were there for hours. This dealer does not honor their advertised prices, their advertised specials (we didn't qualify for free tv they were giving away with every purchase because they gave us such a great deal. So they said.), or their customer's time. Don't waste your time, go to a dealer that will honor their advertised specials and their customers.

Jose our sales associate was great. We had made an appointment with someone else but they were unavailable when we arrived, so Jose quickly met us, understood what we were there for and took us right to the car. After a good test drive, we worked out a good number and we automatically got our GM teacher discounts. Our finance manager was also great, as we were there way past closing and he still was very thorough and complete in his work. Jose was still there after that to see us out and make sure our OnStar setup and intro was smooth. All around a great experience, quick clean and professional all the way by Jose.

UPDATE: December 2019, I stopped in to get my first oil change today and had an appointment at 11am. Their whole check in process is confusing because you make a specific appointment with a service advisor...? Never heard of that before. I stood around waiting until someone motioned me to the go tune different area while ignoring me. It's been over 2 hours now and still waiting for my oil change to be done. We were also told the oil change would include tire rotations when we purchased. Surpise. They are not and it is $25. Not worth the hassle with this place. I wasnt impressed much when I purchased and definitely am not impressed with their service department.

They're ok. I only chose this place because they had the exact used Jeep Wrangler I wanted. The 28k jeep I picked out ended up being 36k with their add ons that "couldnt be removed" like GPS tracking in the vehicle and paint protection coatings. Most dealerships, including the one I sold cars at, offer this as an option. I haggled for almost a hour with the price with them. It was late, I was tired, it was the Jeep I had been searching for, so I caved. The car has been fine so far. I was upset after being told in would oil changes for 3 years for free and there was a brochure on the sales desk stating this. I was later told AFTER coming out of finance it had recently been changed, our sales person mis-spoke, and it's actually 3 oil changes for free in total. Plus 50% after that because my husband is a vet. Probably wont purchase here again.

Search out Sterling Rieger at Courtesy. I bought a certified vehicle there last week when I was visiting from Seattle. Sterling personally delivered late a night to where we were staying and has been very responsive to follow up questions, even sending accessories I wanted after I'd returned to Washington.

For an oil change, tank of gas and full detal. I got my vehicle back 7 hours later.
The windows and visor mirrors were not even cleaned. Although the rest of the vehicle looked good.
I did have a small crack in my windshield on the passenger side,
when I got my vehicle back the crack on the passenger side had trippled in size and
on the driver side, there was a 12 to 14" crack that was not there when I took my vehicle in for service.
My service advisor ask if I had insurance for my windshield? and said that they could replace it for me. No explanation how that big crack on the driver side happened ?
I felt like a second rate customer, seems after you purchase your vehicle there your not as important as some one who is purchasing a vehicle at the present time!

We we're really interested in a Silverado and drove an hour to the dealership after speaking to salesman John and said the truck was available to look at. When we got there, he kept giving us a runaround about the truck being in the back and they didn't have the keys for it...or it was on the lift...?? He didn't even call back to follow up after multiple times of my bf calling him back. Very poor customer service. We ended up taking our business elsewhere.

The car I was interested in was being used by the manager as his own personal demo car and he would not sell it to me even though they let me test drive it. Instead, they tried to get me to buy one that they were going to ship from Nevada. Needless to say, I left disappointed without purchasing anything. 100% true story.

Unprofessional, they do not communicate well with their customers. My dad and I had an appointment, we went in with hopes of purchasing a truck. After looking around and then running my credit, we agreed to send out the info to a bank and get approved for the loan. We were told to wait till the next day because it would be a long process. The next day we did not receive a call I kept getting alerts for inquiries, unfortunately I now have 11 inquiries which made an impact on my credit. Until this day I have not received a phone call, I tried calling multiple times to stop the process, but the inquiries just keep coming. NEVER AGAIN!!! I was never advised that my credit would be checked by 11 banks! Save yourself some time and stress! Don t recommend!

I never will purchase another vehicle from Courtesy Chevrolet again. Nor will I ever purchase any accessories from their " pro shop ". It has taken them six weeks to try and complete a simple purchase of a tonneau cover for my truck. First, they had to special order it because evidently I have the only 2017 Silverado in Phoenix. Then I had to drive it in to be color matched because I have out of the hundred trucks on their lot the only one with a Pepper Dust color paint job. Well the shipment of cover got delayed because of the holidays. Then, the cover was damaged and they said no problem we'll fix it and sell it to you as a used cover for the same price. While installing it, it was damaged again. So, the Pro shop manager calls me and says it's okay you can't see the damage from the outside but, if you want we can order you another one I just can't tell you how soon it will get here. It's been three weeks since then and if I hadn't called them today who knows how much longer they would have stalled. Now we get to start the whole process all over again. I guess all I can do now is expect the worst and hope for the best.

Went to the big tent sale event at University of Phoenix Stadium just to look at cars and see what was within my price range. James Balaz was my assigned sales person as I walked in. He was very nice and personable from the start. Told him we were interested in an SUV so he took us to look at all SUV's. Last one we came across was a 2005 Ford Expedition. As we were looking at it, another sales guy from a different dealership told us it was sold and then drove it away. James asked him where his "hold" sign was and the guy ignored him and continued to drive off. James said he was going to see what he could do to get this vehicle for me because they have rules and that other guy didn't follow them. Long story short, we ended up getting to test drive the vehicle and I liked it so we started working numbers. James was very understanding of my finances and didn't push for me to put down more than what I felt comfortable and was still able to get me close to what I wanted to be at for a monthly payment. I wasn't expecting to buy that day so I didn't have my current insurance info with me. The team was kind enough to accept a picture emailed to them of my current insurance that I sent my mother to my house to get (I live in Mesa and we were out in Glendale so there was no way I was going to make it home and back before the event was over). Everyone was very kind and didn't push to get me to pay more than I was comfortable nor did they try to talk me into any vehicle. These people know how to get a sale without using pressure tactics!

Well, I suppose I'll start by saying that just like you reading this right now, I started my car search looking for the right dealership by reading reviews on google. I'm a first time buyer and all I knew is that I wanted a Chevy (since my current truck is a Chevy), so what better place than Courtesy CHEVROLET? I called to get an idea on their selection with my budget being $4,500 while wanting a car with under 100,000 miles. Robert Sterkeson answered the phone. He was polite and honest when he said that may be a little difficult, but suggested that perhaps I should use that money as a down payment. I was hesitant, but decided to make my way down to take a look anyways, and it's a good thing a did. The entire staff was eager and willing to help, but I wanted Robert, whom I previously spoke with on the phone about my budget. First we spoke to Nancy to get me pre approved, which I had immediately, even on my waitress wage. Even though I didn't end up going through one of her financing plans, she was more than helpful explaining how the process would work. I then sat down and spoke with Will Deguire who brought a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer with 68,000 miles on it to my attention. Started by telling me $379 for 72 months, which turned to $349, which turned to $319 for 60 months thanks to another staff member, named Lucy, who did all the paper work. She also helped us get insurance on the spot! Will was more than informitive about any questions I had without beating around the bush. Robert was there every step of the way creating a comfortable, pressure free experience. When he tells you, "We are not here to sell you a car, we're here to help you buy one." you can believe it.

( that caused a big fight) i never received a call from him then when she asks about the door problem he stated I never mentioned anything to him such a liar unprofessional. We went in to ask some questions and to find out how much we would get for trading our vehicles. We were interested in a traverse because we have a growing family and simply wanted to know what we needed to do to make that goal. They convinced us that it was possible to make a deal now and after much negotiating we ended up trading in our Cruze and leasing a new 2012 Traverse. We signed the contract and were off in our new family vehicle. This was Sunday and everything was great until a couple days later when we received a call from the dealer saying that the deal was not approved and they needed the traverse back. Really? This was after we had already signed the contract. My feelings wouldn't have been hurt if they had simply told me that we do not qualify at this time and let us know what we needed to do in order to qualify. After all, we were there for that purpose anyway. Instead, I was left insulted and embarrassed. That s ok because instead of earning my gratitude and future business, I will instead be sharing this review where ever I can to warn folks about the practices of this dealership. Is this really how Chevrolet does business now?

Just bought a 2014 Chevy Spark 1LT from Courtesy Chevrolet. GO SEE ROBERT! Great salesman. Not out for the sale. Genuinely loves cars and wants you to get the car that fits you best! All-around decent guy. No pressure at all. Easy, (mostly) painless situation. The little pain I felt had nothing to do with Courtesy Chevrolet. Just my tight pocket book. (I'm super cheap and HATE spending money). They worked with my budget and have an excellent selection! They were even flexible with my trade in! I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I left multiple messages to see if I could get a price for a tire. I have bought 3 vehicles from Courtesy Chevrolet and have always had a solid experience. Brandon in the service department told me that he couldn't give me a price and that AJ had to. Yet AJ wouldn't call me back, then when he did he was very rude on the phone and continued to call me 'boss' I have a name and I also have the right to take my business elsewhere. I'm sure you guys don't really care about a customers experience so I'm not expecting any response to this.

Plus $210 for a tire, when I priced it out with other places and it was about $65 more at Courtesy Chevrolet. I want to keep my business with them, but they are too pricey on parts and service department has gone downhill.

I would think twice before purchasing from this dealership. After bringing a new truck back to the dealership for multiple issues that I shouldn t have on a new truck, alignment issues, front end feeling loose, rattles from trim inside that I m told is completely normal. Im told they don t want to service my truck anymore and to find a different dealership. This dealerships service department is an Oil Change facility at best. Damon Phillips and the owner Scott Gruwell have failed their customers. After your dealership fixed the alignment and centered the steering wheel neither of which actually happened. I bring the truck to Van Chevrolet, the tech tries to perform an alignment and discovers that the entire steering rack is not functioning properly and needs to be replaced. Interesting that I m told from Courtesy that everything was good to go on the truck! I ll be sure to share with everyone I can about the terrible treatment that I have received by your dealership.

No move on price and lots of expensive unwanted addons. Looked at a Chevy Volt, listed for $14,444. When I asked about out of door price, was told it was $18,000. This included $995 for "prep" and $498 for "lifetime tinting". Neither was optional.
